Abstract

Daerah pesisir merupakan daerah perbatasan antara daratan dan lautan. Daerah pesisir memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga agar air laut tidak masuk ke daratan. Kondisi pesisir yang kurang baik akan mengganggu kestabilan lingkungan di sekitar pesisir. Bencana alam seperti banjir rob dan abrasi air laut menjadi fokus perhatian bagi masyarakat pesisir, khususnya di Desa Wringin Putih, Kecamatan Muncar, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Kondisi hutan mangrove di daerah pesisir tersebut dinilai kurang mampu menahan terjangan banjir rob dan abrasi oleh air laut. Kegiatan sosial diperlukan guna menyelesaikan pcrmasalahan yang ada. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan dan kegiatan konservasi. Konservasi hutan mangrove dinilai tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan banjir rob dan abrasi air laut. Konservasi dilakukan dengan metode tanarn mangrove yang sesuai dengan panduan penanaman pohon mangrove. Konservasi hutan mangrove melibatkan santri Yayasan Minhajut Thullab beserta masyarakat sekitar pesisir dalam rangka Hari Santri Nasional. Kegiatan sosialisasi juga dilakukan kepada masyarakat guna menanamkan rasa cinta lingkungan dengan selalu melestarikan ekosistem hutan mangrove di daerah pesisir.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara maritim yang terdiri dari kepulauan dan dikelilingi oleh lautan. Banyak masyarakat Indonesia yang hidup di daerah pesisir. Wilayah pesisir merupakan pertemuan antara darat dan laut yang meliputi wilayah sekitar 8% di permukaan bumi.Daerah pesisir sebagai suatu ekosistem menyimpan potensi sumber daya alam yang luar biasa.Kondisi daerah pesisir di Desa Wringin Putih, Kecamatan Muncar, Kabupaten Banyuwangi sudah sangat memprihatinkan karena tumpukan sampah yang tersebar hampir di sepanjang garis pantai. Tumpukan sampah yang ada di daerah pesisir ini mcrupakan limbah masyarakat sekitar pesisir dan sampah yang terbawa dari laut.Kondisi seperti ini sudah pasti mengganggu kelestarian ekosistem pesisir dan estetika hutan mangrove. Timbunan sampahjuga akan mengakibatkan banjir rob dan pencemaran lingkungan. Abstract

Early childhood is an important phase for developing children's intelligence, including number recognition skills, which are the basis for further math learning. This study aims to improve the ability to recognize numbers 1-10 in children aged 4-5 years using wit ongko media in group A PAUD Darunnajah Tamansari. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kurt Lewin model. The subjects in this study were 15 children in group A. Data were collected using observation techniques and field notes, which refer to the ability to (a) count numbers 1-10, (b) show the order of objects 1-10, and (c) connect number symbols with objects. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula which is quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the average ability of children in recognizing numbers in the pre-cycle for each indicator was (a) 63.25% (good), (b) 58.25% (sufficient), (c) 51.75% (poor); cycle I was (a) 66.67% (good), 58.33% (sufficient), 55% (sufficient); and cycle II was (a) 90% (very good), 88.25% (very good), 80% (very good). Thus, the use of wit ongko media is effective in improving the ability to recognize numbers in group A children at PAUD Darunnajah Tamansari.

Abstract

The role of parents in their children's moral and academic education is key in the formation of a generation of character and achievement. Islamic values provide holistic guidance for parents to assist their children in instilling noble morals while achieving academic success. This article aims to describe the implementation of a workshop designed to increase parents' understanding and involvement in educating their children based on Islamic values. The activity involved interactive sessions, group discussions and practical simulations to provide participants with practical insights. The results of the workshop showed an increase in parents' awareness of the importance of their role in supporting their children's education, both morally and academically. In addition, participants were able to identify concrete strategies that can be applied in daily life to strengthen Islamic value-based education. Thus, this activity contributes to the empowerment of parents as the main partners in building a superior and noble generation.

Abstract

SEMAGI is a breakfast habituation program given to early childhood as an effort to provide children with an understanding of the importance of breakfast in the morning to improve concentration in learning at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the SEMAGI program habituation on learning concentration in early childhood at SPS Kamboja 4 School, Sukowono District, Jember Regency. This study used a pre-experimental research approach with one group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis used in this study used t-test analysis to determine the impact of breakfast habituation on learning concentration in early childhood as seen from the significance of the difference in learning concentration before and after being given the SEMAGI program. The pre-test results showed that out of 25 samples, 16 (64.0%) respondents had poor learning concentration and 9 (36.0%) respondents had good learning concentration, while in the post-test, 7 children (28%) still had poor learning concentration, while 18 children (72%) had good concentration. The results of the t-test analysis showed a significant difference in learning concentration before and after the SEMAGI program with a t value of 2.736 and a p value of 0.012. These results show a significant number because the p value <significance level (α) = 5% (0.05). Based on these results, it can be said that the SEMAGI program has a positive impact on learning concentration in early childhood at SPS Kamboja 4 School, Sukowono District, Jember Regency. Based on the research that has been conducted, students are accustomed to having breakfast to support children in concentrating when receiving learning at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan media pembelajaran yang kontekstual untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media Puzzle berbasis kearifan lokal jember yang layak dan efektif untuk mempromosikan keterampilan motorik anak usia dini di TK Al Hidayah III. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan dalam model  ADDIE. Produk yang di hasilkan yaitu media pembelajaran puzzle berbasis kearifan lokal jember dalam merangsang motorik halus pada anak usia dini.  Hasil verifikasi media penelitian oleh ahli media belajar mencapai nilai 95% menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik. Siswa di TK Al Hidayah III sudah bisa memegang pensil . Guru dituntut untuk membuat media pembelajaran agar anak tidak bosan. Sebelum diadakannya penelitian di TK Al Hidayah III terdapat 6 siswa yang kurang dalam perkembangan motorik halus dan 9 siswa yang sudah baik dalam memegang pensil dalam 15 siswa. Setelah media puzzle diberikan terdapat 4 siswa yang mulai memahami dengan baik, 5 siswa yang berkembang sesuai harapan, dan 6 siswa yang sudah berkembang sangat baik. Kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre-test dan post test, karena nilai teknik t-hitung (5.801) lebih besar dari t-table (1.761) menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Jember lebih efektif. Ada bukti statistik yang kuat bahwa ada perbedaan atau dampak yang signifikan dalam data yang diuji.

Abstract

Teachers play a central role in designing instructional strategies that stimulate children’s creativity through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities. One such pedagogical approach is the use of gradation colouring, which not only introduces children to artistic techniques but also enhances cognitive flexibility, imagination, and aesthetic sensitivity. This study therefore aims to investigate teachers’ instructional strategies in fostering children’s creativity through gradation colouring activities. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and supporting documentation. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s which involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The findings reveal that teachers employed various strategies, such as scaffolding techniques, direct and visual approach, motivation through fun activities, giving freedom to experiment, and providing positive and constructive feedback. Thus, the instructional strategies implemented by teachers through color gradation activities have a significant positive impact on the development of early childhood creativity. Therefore, color gradation activities are not only an art technique but also an effective approach to support the holistic creative development of children.

Abstract

Number recognition ability are an important part of early childhood cognitive development. At this stage children begin to understand the concept of numbers and numerals, and are able to recognise and name basic numbers. This study aims to improve the ability to recognise numbers concretely, strengthen basic numerical skills and increase their interest in learning mathematics from an early age. This research was conducted through classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects consisted of 12 group A students aged 4-5 years. The classroom action research conducted adopted the Kurt Lewin model which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in students' ability to recognise numbers. The increase in the ability to recognise numbers can be seen in the pre-cycle the number of children who developed very well / optimally or 25% of students, increased in cycle I to 50% of the number of students who developed very well / optimally, and in cycle II increased to 75% of students developing very well / optimally. The Sticky Note Counting Flower Media that is applied is able to provide opportunities for students to learn more deeply about basic numbers, making it easier for students to remember and reinterpret. Therefore, it can be concluded that Sticky Note Counting Flower Media can optimally improve the ability to recognise numbers in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Teknik eco print termasuk dalam materi pelajaran kerajinan tekstil karena dilakukan dengan cara menghias permukaan kain atau tekstur. Penguatan P5 di sekolah mengacu pada gagasan pendidikan berkelanjutan yang dikenal sebagai lima pilar. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan pembuatan eco print sebagai penguatan karakter P5 pada siswa. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga terintegrasi pada pembelajaran pemahaman konsep matematika terapan terkait dengan bangun geometri dua dimensi yang terbentuk. Pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui sistem hybrid, yang berarti bahwa mereka dilakukan secara online dan offline. Untuk mendukung kegiatan kebinekaan dan penguatan profil Pancasila, pendampingan online dilakukan secara berkala. Pendampingan offline dilakukan untuk kegiatan yang akan mengadakan penguatan profil Pancasila. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan sehubungan dengan pendampingan dalam bentuk pelatihan dapat membantu meningkatkan karakter P5 dan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika terapan, yang ditemukan dalam materi transformasi geometri pada dedaunan. Dengan menggunakan Geogebra untuk mengvisualisasikan, siswa dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang materi.

Abstract

The problem that occurred in the Mambaul Ulum Kindergarten institution was that there were still some children when coloring still outside the lines and were still not neat in coloring. Of the 13 students there were 7 children who still needed stimulation in improving fine motor skills, especially in eye and hand coordination. This happened because of the lack of variation in the media used, children's interest decreased because the learning media used was monotonous, the lack of independence in children also caused children to have dependence on others. Through specific acts, such as using banana stem media to help youngsters develop their fine motor abilities, the study aimed to improve and enrich the learning process in the classroom. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) according to the Kemmis and McTaggart CAR paradigm, which has two cycles with two meetings each. Group A of 13 pupils from Mambaul Ulum Kindergarten served as the study's subject. Based on the results of initial observations, there were 7 children or 54% of the 13 children in group A who were not yet able to coordinate their eyes and hands in the category (Not Developing), after the implementation of banana stem media, After two sessions, there was an increase in cycle I, with 4 children, or 31% of the total, falling into the category of "Developing According to Expectations." Cycle II of the research was conducted since cycle I required more action. There was an increase in the motor skills of the children in cycle II; 10 children, or 80% of the total, fell into the category of "Developing According to Expectations." Because 80% of the children's success criteria had to be reached for the research to be considered successful, cycle II was terminated.
