Abstract

The digitalization of education continues to evolve, with artificial intelligence (AI) playing a crucial role. ChatGPT, an AI-powered tool, has gained widespread use among students for academic purposes. This study investigates its impact on students’ learning abilities, particularly in facilitating independent learning, supporting assignment completion, and broadening knowledge. A mixed-method approach was adopted, combining quantitative survey data from 203 respondents with qualitative analysis of their responses. This methodology provided a comprehensive understanding of students' experiences and perceptions regarding ChatGPT’s role in their academic activities. The findings indicate that ChatGPT significantly aids students in completing assignments, encourages independent learning, and serves as a valuable knowledge resource. Respondents reported that ChatGPT’s accessibility and functionality contribute to enhanced learning efficiency. The study highlights ChatGPT’s potential as a transformative educational tool, emphasizing its role in digital learning environments. While students benefit from its features, considerations regarding academic integrity and critical thinking skills should be addressed. ChatGPT demonstrates considerable advantages in supporting students’ academic endeavors. Its effectiveness in fostering independent learning and knowledge expansion underscores its value in modern education. Future research should explore its long-term impact on students' learning habits and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This article examines and analyzes the role of Sufism as a spiritual and moral revolution. Nowadays, in the era of disruption as an era in which all information can be accessed easily.  People are experiencing spiritual and social crisis due to the massive use of media and social changing. The method used in this article is the study of literature, which examines and examines various documents, literature, articles, books and other references related to this theme. Results: First, that Sufism has a role to lead people to focus on themselves and find peace with God. At the same time, Sufism also lead people to be able to perform both their duty as the creature of God (habl min Allah) and as representatives of God (habl min an nas). Second, Sufism is also a social movement. It teaches people to build good relationships with the community and requires people to be active, optimistic and have social sensitivity

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari kegundahan akademik mengenai sosok ulama sentral yang mampu mempengaruhi hampir mayoritas masyarakat banjar. Sehingga penelitian ini bersifat fenomenologi, dengan melakukan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini ialah dengan melakukan observasi aktif, wawancara terbuka, hingga dokumentasi. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini memberikan dua garis besar dalam memahami bagaimana relasi kuasa sebagai pisau analisisnya. Yaitu fase keraton sebagai pengumpulan modal untuk membentuk strategi relasi kekuasaan, fase kedua ialah fase sekumpul, sebagai pengatur ritme kewilayahan, peta demografi, pengembangan akhlak, hingga persebaran ajaran akhlak. Sehingga posisi Abah Guru Sekumpul juga mampu menjadi keluarga ditengah-tengah masyarakat, ayah bagi para murid tarekatnya, dan teman sejawat bagi warga Sekumpul dan Banjarmasin pada umumnya.

Abstract

The modern era which is now stepping on the industrial revolution 4.0 era has caused the human condition to change rapidly, they are “tempted” by technological sophistication so that they slowly forget and leave religion (God) which ultimately leads to social and spiritual problems in the midst of society in addition to moral problems that cannot be solved with any technological sophistication. The focus of this research is to analyze and find a solution to solve this problem through the concept of humanistic Sufism which was initiated by Said Aqil Siradj and Muh Amin Syukur. The findings produced are that humanistic Sufism Said Aqil and Amin Syukur are Sufism that teaches humans to be active in social life, pro-active to social problems, politics, economics, nationality, please help, tolerance, as well as to draw closer to God continuously. Humanistic Sufism also teaches to synergize between the world-hereafter, the soul-body, inner-soul, God-creature, social-individual, Sharia-nature. It is this moderate attitude which seeks to develop humanistic Sufism which later leads to the formation of social piety and spiritual piety that very relevant to the life of post modern people who are currently experiencing a social and spiritual crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find a concept of remembrance of Sufism as a method of spiritual, moral, and social education for postmodern society. The research method used is a literature review which examines various literatures, articles, books, and documentation that support the topic of study. The results of the study show that remembrance of Sufism as an alternative to purify the soul and educate the heart to be cleaner so that it will have an impact on personality and social. The process to get there must go through the stages of takhallī, taḥallī, and tajallī. Then, remembrance of Sufism to be a method of education for spiritual, moral and social aspects must be carried out in the right way, which must be solemn, persistent, repeated, understand the meaning and be presented in the heart. Internalization of Sufism remembrance is important to harmonize spiritual, moral and mu'amalah aspects so that the practice of Sufism does not only strengthen one aspect, but several aspects that make him a moderate, balanced and in accordance with the dictates of Islam itself.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve lecturers' competency in writing textbooks, monographs, and reference books based on their teaching experience and research findings. The background to this activity is based on the still low ability of lecturers to produce systematic academic books, as well as limited understanding of the differences and characteristics of each type of book. In addition, technical obstacles in writing and publication and low motivation are factors that hinder lecturers' academic productivity. The method used was an interactive webinar with a participatory and practice-based approach. This activity involved the delivery of conceptual material, training in book outline preparation, integration of teaching and research experience, and strategies for publishing books with ISBNs. The learning process in the webinar emphasized reflection on lecturers' experiences and the development of ideas into structured academic book drafts. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the types and systematics of academic book writing, as well as improved technical skills in drafting books. Furthermore, this activity also succeeded in increasing lecturers' motivation to write and encouraging the integration of teaching and research in the form of scientific papers. The impact of this activity is not only seen in increased knowledge and skills, but also in the emergence of awareness of the importance of a writing culture among lecturers. Thus, this webinar has proven effective as a model of community service in improving the academic capacity of lecturers and supporting the sustainable strengthening of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. [Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dosen dalam menulis buku ajar, monograf, dan buku referensi berbasis pengalaman mengajar dan hasil penelitian. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya kemampuan dosen dalam menghasilkan buku akademik yang sistematis, serta terbatasnya pemahaman mengenai perbedaan dan karakteristik masing-masing jenis buku. Selain itu, kendala teknis dalam penulisan dan publikasi serta rendahnya motivasi menjadi faktor penghambat produktivitas akademik dosen. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelaksanaan webinar interaktif dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis praktik. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penyampaian materi konseptual, pelatihan penyusunan outline buku, integrasi pengalaman mengajar dan penelitian, serta strategi penerbitan buku ber-ISBN. Proses pembelajaran dalam webinar menekankan pada refleksi pengalaman dosen dan pengembangan ide menjadi draft buku akademik yang terstruktur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya pemahaman yang lebih bagi peserta terkait jenis dan sistematika penulisan buku akademik, serta terbukanya wawasan akan teknis dalam menyusun draft buku. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memotivasi dosen untuk menulis serta mendorong integrasi antara pengajaran dan penelitian dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah. Dampak kegiatan ini tidak hanya terlihat dengan bertambahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan, tetapi juga dalam munculnya kesadaran akan pentingnya budaya menulis di kalangan dosen. Dengan demikian, webinar ini sebagai model pengabdian masyarakat dalam membentuk kemampaun akademik dosen dan mendukung penguatan tridharma perguruan tinggi secara berkelanjutan, sehingga perlu keberlanjutan agar bisa melahirkan output atau produk berupa buku akademik.]

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has become increasingly important in responding to the demands of 21st-century education, which requires learners to develop critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and strong moral character. Although previous studies have examined pedagogical innovation, digital technology integration, and character education in PAI, the existing literature remains fragmented, with limited integrative synthesis of these dimensions within Islamic educational contexts. This study aims to synthesize current evidence on the transformation of PAI and develop an integrative conceptual framework that supports the development of 21st-century competencies. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines was conducted. Following the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion process, 25 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 were selected for qualitative synthesis. The review demonstrates that effective PAI transformation is achieved through the integration of three interrelated dimensions: pedagogical innovation, digital technology, and character education grounded in Islamic values. Rather than functioning independently, these dimensions interact synergistically to create adaptive, student-centered, and contextually relevant learning environments that foster both academic competence and religious character while strengthening students' 21st-century skills. This study contributes by proposing an integrative conceptual framework for PAI transformation aligned with 21st-century competencies. The framework provides a comprehensive synthesis that bridges pedagogy, technology, and Islamic character education, offering theoretical insights and practical guidance for curriculum development and instructional practice in contemporary Islamic education.
