Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran pendidikan Islam kontemporer Hasan Langgulung dan Zakiah Darajat yang kemudian dicari titik temu antar keduanya. Pendidikan Islam harus senantiasa update dan berbenah di tengah arus global yang begitu cepat, agar bisa selalu eksis dalam menjawab berbagai tantangan dan kebutuhan global. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi kepustakaan yang data-datanya diperoleh melalui buku, jurnal, artikel, penelitian dan dokumen-dokumen yang sesuai dengan tema ini. Hasil: Pemikiran Hasan Langgulung tentang pendidikan Islam kontemporer ialah bahwa belajar sebagai proses untuk mengembangkan berbagai kompetensi peserta didik, mensinergikan berbagai ilmu, kesehatan mental juga aspek yang penting untuk dikembangkan dalam pendidikan Islam selain aspek spiritual, pengetahuan dan sosial. Sedangkan Dzakiah Darajat mempunyai pandangan bahwa pendidikan Islam harus mencetak manusia yang sesuai fitrahnya yakni sebagai Abdullah dan Khalifah Allah, mensinergikan aspek intelektual dan spiritual serta moral, psikoogi sufistik sebagai aspek yang perlu dikembangkan didalam pendidikan Islam. Titik temu antar keduanya ialah bahwa psikologi menjadi sebuah ilmu yang turut membantu pendidik dalam menghadapi berbagai ragam kepribadian peserta didik, dengan memahami ilmu psikologi maka pendidik akan lebih mudah dalam memberlakukan peserta didik. Sehingga psikologi tidak bisa dipisahkan dengan dunia pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Sufi is an activity that gives an ethical and spiritual touch to the community. In the midst of its development, on the other hand there is homework for the Sufi group to take part. Because of the moral decadence among students, their concern for the integrity of the ideology of the nation and the state is no longer in the realm of indifference, but rather contra and wishes to change it. So that the purpose of this article is to respond to the open insight of student nationality with the Sufism approach. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The result is a national insight for students as a motor in preserving the ideology of national and state sovereignty. Sufi groups' concern among students for government politics in a participatory and accommodating manner is a field of pious charity for him as an actualization to maintain a comfortable arena of spiritual activity. Apart from being an effort at tazkiyatun nafsi.

Abstract

This research examined a pattern of integration between problem-based learning (PBL) strategy with inquiry in shaping the critical thinking framework and psychosocial of youth-level students. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method. The data sources were derived from documentation, books, and various related articles. Its analytical techniques used deductions, induction, interpretation, and comparison and analysis of multilayered texts. The results of this research showed that the PBL and inquiry strategies had substantial collation and synergy in the process of forming a framework of critical thinking and psychosocial of youth-level students. It was based on the process of implementing both strategies that emphasized the search for solutions to the problems encountered by conducting investigations, hypotheses, testing, data mining supported by teamwork, collaboration, communication, discussion, and coordination. Thus, the use of the PBL strategy and inquiry integratively is highly recommended in the learning process.

Abstract

Rahmatan Lil 'alamin is a term of the Koran referring to the main purpose of da'wah carried out by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This term is often used to explain that Islam is a religion of peace, compassion, tolerance, and love of kindness. However, in the Qur'an, the hadith and the history of the da'wah of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions show that not all activities aimed at upholding rahmatan lil' alamin can be presented with peace, compassion, tolerance, and love of kindness, but there is also the concept of jihad, amar ma' Ruf nahi munkar and wala 'with fellow believers. This paper tries to explore the meaning of grace in the Qur'an and how to make it happen with the thematic interpretation method approach. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the meaning of rahmatan lil 'alamin will be realized when there is a balance between hablun minallah and hablun minannas, namely implementing twelve activities related to the hablun minallah relationship and twelve activities related to hablun minannas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of Islam Nusantara and the application of the values ​​in it to stem extreme ideas. Islam Nusantara is Islam that accepts differences, be it religion, ethnicity, race, or culture, so tolerance is needed to understand all the differences that exist, as well as in the moderation of religion in Indonesia, which has a strong background. The concept of religion is very appropriate to be applied in the life of the nation and state, especially in a multicultural society. To that end, Islam Nusantara established the concept of religious moderation as a mediation to resolve differences between radical and fundamentalist groups. The practice of religious moderation in a multicultural society makes educational institutions the basis of a laboratory for religious moderation and the application of socio-religious approaches in religion and the state.

Abstract

This study intends to critically examine and analyze the process of national fiqh actualization in shaping an attitude of religious moderation. Bearing in mind, the problem of unity amidst differences is primary, so it must remain a serious concern to maintain the country’s resilience. The research method was qualitative with a library research approach, which collected a variety of relevant literature according to the topic of study. This study concludes that the concept of national fiqh has an orientation to unity and integrity in maintaining national sovereignty wrapped with nationalism. National fiqh’s relevance and religious moderation become a mutually reinforcing synergy because national fiqh seeks to build a nationalist humanistic paradigm to reduce differences. Then, the actualization of national fiqh in building Indonesia’s religious moderation is the appreciation of the teachings of Islam in a complex and contextualist manner, not merely normative or dogmatic, strengthened by the process of cultivating moderate, fair, tolerant, humanist, ethical, religious, and nationalist attitudes.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the history and progress of the Ottoman Turks for the Islamic World. Historically, the founder of this kingdom was a Turkic nation from the Oghuz tribe, whose name was Ertugrul, he was the pioneer of the Ottoman Empire who died in 1289 AD. Later, the leadership was continued by his son, Uthman. Uthman bin Ertugrul is considered the founder of the Ottoman empire. There are nine phases, namely the first and second phases as the pioneering and founding phases of the Ottoman Empire, phases three and four as the glory phase, phases five to 8 as the phase of stagnation, decline and dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, while the ninth phase is the phase of the Republican caliphate. Factors that influenced the glory and progress of the Ottoman Turks were political, military, economic factors, the paradigm of rulers/sultans, and socio-political factors. Meanwhile, the territory of the Ottoman Turks in parts of Asia, North Africa to Eastern Europe can be conquered and maintained for approximately 6 centuries. The heyday of Solomon (King Solomon) was known by his people as the noble title "al-Qanuni". The forms of Ottoman progress were the military and government fields, science and culture, architecture, religion and political management. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis sejarah dan kemajuan Turki Utsmani bagi Dunia Islam. Secara historis pendiri kerajaan ini adalah bangsa Turki dari kabilah Oghuz, yang bernama Ertugrul ia sebagai perintis kerajaan Turki Utsmani yang meninggal pada 1289 M yang kemudian, kepemimpinan dilanjutkan oleh puteranya yaitu Utsman. Utsman bin Ertugrul inilah yang dianggap sebagai pendiri kerajaan Utsmani. Ada Sembilan fase yakni fase pertama dan kedua sebagai fase perintisan dan berdirinya kerajaan Turki Utsmani, fase tiga dan empat sebagai fase kejayaan, fase lima sampai 8 sebagai fase stagnisasi, kemunduruan dan pembubaran kerajaan Utsmani, sedangkan fase sembilan sebagai fase kekhalifahan Republik. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kejayaan dan kemajuan Turki Utsmani di antaranya ialah faktor politikm, militer, ekonomi, paradigma penguasa/sultan, sosial politik. Sedangkan, wilayah kekuasaan Turki Utsmani wilayah dibelahan Asia, Afrika Utara hingga Eropa bagian Timur dapat ditaklukkan dan dipertahankan selama kurang lebih 6 abad. Masa kejayaan berada pada masa Sulaiman (King Sulaiman) dikenal oleh rakyatnya dengan sebutan mulia “al-Qanuni”. Adapun bentuk kemajuan Utsmani ialah bidang kemiliteran dan pemerintahan, ilmu pengetahuan dan budaya, bidang arsetektur, bidang keagamaan dan bidang manejeman politik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisa konsep Islam moderat sebagai jalan alternatif dalam membendung paham dan gerakan radikal di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan yang berusaha mencari berbagai literatur mulai buku, jurnal, dokumen, dan artikel yang sesuai topik kajian. Hasilnya bahwa konsep Islam moderat ialah Islam yang menjunjung tinggi rasa persaudaraan lintas sesama (basyariyah), persamaan, kenegaraan, keharmonisan dan keramahan yang jauh dari sikap fanatik, egois dan penuh kekerasan. Empat prinsip yang dibawa oleh Islam moderat yakni tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh, dan i’tidal, di mana keempat prinsip tersebut sebagai dasar pengejawantahan dari nilai-nilai Islam rahmatan lil alamin. Strategi dalam mengubah paradigma masyarakat menuju moderat ialah memahami bahwa perbedaan sebagai suatu keniscayaan mutlak dari Allah, keseimbangan dalam beragama menjadi kekuatan sosial untuk tidak mudah menghakimi sesama yang berbeda, kemudian sifat kasih sayang menjadi pengikat untuk memupuk interaksi sosial yang sehat, damai dan jauh dari unsur radikalisme. Sehingga, paham ini bisa dibendung dengan baik.

Abstract

Gender has become a hotly debated topic in this millennial era by people who have created many protest movements, one of which is the "Women Rights" movement which often occurs at home and abroad. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the concept of gender as a whole in the view of Islamic theology. The method used in writing this journal is to use the literature study method by collecting various reference sources from books, journals and various documents related to the concept of gender in Islam. The findings from the study of the concept of gender in Islam are that there is a lot of discrimination between genders that causes divisions so that the concept of gender itself becomes a lively debate. The second finding is the existence of gender equity and gender equality which talk a lot about equality and differences theoretically and historically in a particular case from time to time. Islamic teachings actually glorify the position of women, and have also been interpreted by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia that men are only referred to as "leaders" which means protectors and providers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze more deeply the idea of modernizing Islamic religious education learning in the style of Ahmad Tafsir. The research method used is literature by collecting various reference sources, books, articles, documents related to the topic of study. It can be concluded that the modernization of Islamic religious education learning from Ahmad Tafsir's perspective emphasizes collaboration and integration between spiritual, intellectual and moral intelligence. Considering that these three intelligences are the basic capital for graduates of Islamic religious education, so that they can actualize all their potential in the midst of community life that is supported by high morality and spirituality. Thus, all the abilities and talents of students who are forged during learning do not come out of the ethical values of the Islamic religion itself.
