Abstract

ABSTRAK: Aspek leksikal dan gramatikal perlu dikuasai anak dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar dengan memanfaatkan lagu anak berbasis multiple intelligence untuk mendukung perkembangan kompetensi kebahasaannya. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tiga fokus penelitian, yaitu (1) aspek leksikal, (2) aspek gramatikal, dan (3) muatan multiple intelligence pada lagu anak dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan sistematik review dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara komprehensif dan kritis terhadap data berupa hasil-hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek leksikal berupa sinonimi, antonimi, kolokasi, repetisi, dan kelas kata untuk memperkaya kosakata dan pengetahuan morfosemantis anak. Aspek gramatikal berbentuk referensi, elipsis, konjungsi, inversi, substitusi, dan pemasifan kata yang memperkuat pengetahuan morfosintaksis anak. Lagu anak-anak mengandung muatan multiple intelligence yang terwujud dalam aspek leksikal dan gramatikalnya, yaitu (1) kecerdasan matematis logis dalam penggunaan numeralia dan repetisi, (2) kecerdasan naturalis dalam penggunaan nomina, ajektiva, frasa preposisi serta kohesi leksikal (3) kecerdasan interpersonal dalam penggunaan pronomina, kolokasi, dan repetisi, (4) kecerdasan visual spasial dalam nomina, ajektiva, kolokasi, dan repetisi, (5) kecerdasan musikal dalam onomatopeia dan repetisi, (6) kecerdasan kinestetik dalam verba aksi dan repetisi, (7) kecerdasan intrapersonal dalam pronomina dan kolokasi, dan (8) kecerdasan linguistik dalam seluruh jenis kata dan kohesi leksikal.KATA KUNCI: Aspek gramatikal; aspek leksikal; lagu anak; multiple intelligence; pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia Lexico-Grammatical Aspects in the Nursery Rhymes Charged With Multiple Intelligence ABSTRACT: Lexical and grammatical aspects need to be mastered by children in learning Indonesian at the elementary school level by utilizing children's songs based on multiple intelligence to support the development of language competence. This article aims to describe three research focuses, namely (1) lexical aspects, (2) grammatical aspects, and (3) multiple intelligence content on children's songs in Indonesian learning. This research is a systematic review with documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis is carried out comprehensively and critically of the data in the form of previous research results. The results showed that lexical aspects of synonyms, antonimi, collocation, repetition, and word classes to enrich the child's vocabulary and morphosemantic knowledge. Grammatical aspects are in the form of references, ellipsis, conjunctions, inversions, substitutions, and word aasifans that reinforce a child's morphospholithic knowledge. Nursery rhymes contain multiple intelligence charges manifested in their lexical and grammatical aspects, namely (1) logical mathematical intelligence in the use of numeralia and repetition, (2) naturalist intelligence in the use of nouns, ajecticoes, prepositional phrases and lexical cohesion (3) interpersonal intelligence in the use of pronomina, collocation, and repetition, (4) spatial visual intelligence in nouns, ajections, collocations, and reps, (5) musical intelligence in onomatopeia and reppetisi,  (6) kinesthetic intelligence in action verbs and reps, (7) intrapersonal intelligence in pronouns and colocations, and (8) linguistic intelligence in all types of words and lexical cohesion.KEYWORDS: Grammatical aspects; lexical aspects; nursery rhymes; multiple intelligence; Indonesian learning

Abstract

Fenomena budaya kontemporer berisi kebebasan berkekspresi, bahkan gambar dan tulisan di belakang bak truk menjadi media ekspresi representasi terhadap perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana representasi perempuan dalam gambar dan tulisan bak truk. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data berupa gambar dan tulisan di belakang bak truk yang merepresentasikan perempuan yang bersumber dari laman google.co.id. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pemaknaan terhadap bahasa dan gambar hingga tahap denotasi dan konotasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan lebih banyak direpresentasikan dalam hal uang, cinta, dan seks secara negatif. Dalam hal uang dan cinta, perempuan direpresentasikan mengambil keuntungan dari laki-laki dari uang dan cinta yang diberikannya. Dalam hal seks, perempuan dapat berposisi sebagai pihak yang aktif sekaligus sebagai pihak yang pasif. Bahasa seksis langsung (overt sexism language) berupa pameo, kalimat imperatif, frasa nomina, sarkasme, serta kata dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Jawa yang lafalnya ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Bahasa seksis tak langsung (covert sexism language) berupa presuposisi, implikatur, repetisi, dan diksi konotatif. Bahasa yang digunakan adalah bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jawa.

Abstract

This program aims to describe the implementation of the critical-cooperative learning model to improve the quality of written thinking products in the Poetry course. This program had an implementation of lesson study in four cycles. The data described the implementation process of the critical cooperative learning model to improve the quality of written thinking products and the results of students' written thinking products. The targets of this program were Indonesian Language Education students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in the Poetry Course. Data collection is held by documentation and observation. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely (1) analyzing the learning process, (2) analyzing student activities, and (3) analyzing the results of the implementation of the critical cooperative learning model. This program found that the critical cooperative model successfully improved the quality of written thinking products in the form of popular articles and scientific articles. This result could be identified by the writing process carried out by students and the results of writing that students have revised. Cooperative learning was carried out through peer review and discussion activities. Students also improved their writing and critical thinking skills when compiling ideas in their articles. In the writing process of scientific papers, students also needed to be critical in relating the discussion to the theory and results of previous research. In the writing process of popular articles, students develop logical and critical arguments based on actual and factual phenomena in society. Critical thinking was not only limited to writing papers but also the peer review process. --- Program ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif kritis untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk pemikiran tulis pada matakuliah Puisi. Program ini merupakan implementasi lesson study dalam empat siklus. Data berupa deskripsi proses implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif kritis untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk pemikiran tulis dan hasil produk pemikiran tulis karya mahasiswa. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Malang pada Matakuliah Puisi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi dan observasi. Analisis data dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu (1) menganalisis proses pembelajaran, (2) menganalisis aktivitas peserta didik, (3) menganalisis hasil implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif kritis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa model kooperatif kritis berhasil dalam meningkatkan kualitas produk pemikiran tulis berupa artikel popular dan artikel ilmiah. Hal itu tampak dari proses penulisan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dan hasil tulisan yang telah melalui revisi. Pembelajaran kooperatif dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kegiatan peer review dan diskusi. Mahasiswa juga  menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam penulisan dan kemampuan berpikir kritis ketika menyusun gagasan-gagasan dalam artikel yang ditulisnya. Pada penulisan artikel ilmiah, mahasiswa juga perlu kritis dalam mengaitkan pembahasan dengan teori dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Pada penulisan artikel popular, mahasiswa mengembangkan argumen logis dan kritis berdasarkan fenomena actual dan faktual yang terjadi di masyarakat. Berpikir kritis tidak hanya terbatas pada penulisan artikel, melainkan juga proses mereview karya mahasiswa lain.

Abstract

This study was intended to describe (1) the characteristics of the argument bar movement in relative clauses, (2) the characteristics of the relative clause structure, and (3) the suitability of the relative clause structure produced by BIPA students. This research was a qualitative descriptive case study. This research data were relative clauses sourced from BIPA students' speeches at the beginner and intermediate levels at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The data collection method used was the listening method with tapping, recording, note-taking, and hidden fishing techniques. Data analysis was carried out by identifying the predication-argument relationship with theta theory, identifying the deep structure and surface structure, analyzing movement objectives, movement traces, and movement consequences by utilizing the subjacency condition theory. The results showed that the characteristics of the argument bar movement in the relative clauses generated by 92% of BIPA students were in the form of short movements and did not exceed one bounding node. Based on the Indonesian language rules, most of the relative clauses produced by BIPA students were appropriate (75%). It shows that BIPA students have fully understood the relative clause structure.

Abstract

There was a limited teacher empowerment program to develop a multiliteracy-based learning model. The urgency of the program is quite substantial because learning barriers during the Covid19 pandemic must be overcome through innovative learning models that stimulate students' multiliteracy skills. This activity aims to empower high school teachers in developing a multiliteracy-based learning model to implement independent learning. This program consists of six meetings, including preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification stages. This activity was conducted online and offline for three months with 15 teachers from SMA Aisyiyah Boarding School Malang. The instruments used are worksheets and interview guides. It was declared successful if 75% of the participants got a minimum of 75 on the worksheet. The results showed that 87% of teachers had exceeded the minimum score. Most teachers have carried out the activities well, starting from the preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification stages. Teachers can find ideas, analyze learning needs, design and display learning models. Multiliteracy learning is implemented through various learning resources and critical literacy stimulation. The teachers' learning model has been applied to online and offline learning practices.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the comparison of the following items: (1) the form and (2) the location of speech disfluencies in script-based speech and extemporaneous speech by BIPA students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research data is in the form of speech impediments in the speeches of BIPA students who were captured using the listening method and then analyzed using the disappearing technique. The results of data analysis showed that the fluency of extemporaneous speech was significantly higher than that of script-based speech. The forms of speech impediment include (1) pause filler, (2) repetition, (3) lengthening, and (4) revision. In this case, there is no difference in the characteristics of speech impediments in the two speeches. The speech impediment occurs: (1) before the sentence, (2) the clause limit, (3) the constituent limit, and (4) within the constituent. In this case, extemporaneous speech is dominated by the location of speech impediments (1) and (2), while script-based speech is dominated by (3) and (4) which indicates that the obstacle in script-based speech lies in word recall, while the obstacle in extemporary speech lies in message formulation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan (1) bentuk dan (2) letak ketidaklancaran tuturan (speech disfluencies) pada pidato berbasis naskah dan pidato ekstemporan pemelajar BIPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa ketidaklancaran tuturan dalam pidato mahasiswa BIPA yang dijaring dengan metode simak kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik lesap. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan ketidaklancaran tuturan pidato ekstemporan secara signifikan lebih tinggi daripada pidato berbasis naskah. Bentuk ketidaklancaran tuturan meliputi (1) pengisi jeda, (2) pengulangan, (3) pemanjangan, dan (4) revisi. Dalam hal ini, tidak ada perbedaan karakteristik bentuk ketidaklancaran tuturan dalam kedua pidato. Ketidaklancaran tuturan terjadi (1) sebelum kalimat, (2) batas klausa, (3) batas konstituen, dan (4) di dalam konstituen. Dalam hal ini, pidato ekstemporan didominasi letak ketidaklancaraan tuturan (1) dan (2), sedangkan pidato berbasis naskah didominasi (3) dan (4) yang mengindikasikan bahwa hambatan pada pidato berbasis naskah terletak pada recall kata, sementara hambatan  pada pidato ekstemporan terletak pada formulasi pesan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya potensi baca permulaan siswa di kelas rendah. Digunakannya metode struktural analitik sintetik (SAS) sebagai salah satu upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut pada siswa kelas rendah di SDN Dateng Laren Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas rendah di SDN Dateng Laren Lamongan. Penelitian berjeniskan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan secara bertahap dalam dua siklus. Terdapat empat tahap di setiap siklus yang dalam hal ini tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Siswa kelas rendah yang terdiri atas kelas 1, kelas 2, dan kelas 3 dengan total keseluruhan berjumlah 19 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 10 orang siswa perempuan dan 9 orang siswa laki-laki sebagai objek yang diteliti. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, tes uji dan pendokumentasian. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa potensi baca siswa kelas rendah di SDN Dateng Laren pada siklus pertama terdapat 12 orang siswa yang tuntas membaca permulaan dengan presentase mencapai 61,2% sedangkan pada siklus kedua diperoleh 16 orang siswa yang tuntas membaca permulaan dengan presentase mencapai 82,41%. Maka, dengan penerapan metode SAS untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas rendah di SDN Dateng Laren dapat dikatakan tercapai.

Abstract

Tip of the tongue (ToT) is experienced by BIPA students when speaking Indonesian due to delayed lexical access. This study aims to describe two focuses, namely: (1) the characteristics of the target vocabulary and the ToT vocabulary and (2) the mental processes when the ToT occurs. The theory used in this research is lexical retrieval in morphosemantics. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out by observation and interview techniques during the learning process of BIPA Muhammadiyah Malang University. The results showed that ToT occurred in nouns (42%), verbs (24%), adjectives (21%), conjunctions (8%), and numeralia (5%). Tip of the tongue is accompanied by a lot of silence as a fallacy effect that appears in the speech. Gestur becomes a description of the meaning features of the target vocabulary. The mental process of ToT occurs in several events, namely (1) the speaker has a picture of the object in his mind, (2) the activation of the semantic set when the active vocabulary has a relation with the meaning of the target vocabulary, (3) activation of the meaning field when the speaker describes it, (4) activation of the phonological set when the similar sound vocabulary appears in the mind, and (5) the appearance of the first language and / or intermediate language.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the beliefs of BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) instructors and learners regarding grammar instruction. This research is a descriptive-quantitative study. The subjects consist of 10 BIPA instructors and 20 BIPA learners from UPT BIPA Muhammadiyah Malang University, CIS BIPA State University of Malang, IAIN Surakarta Language Center, and UPT BIPA State University of Medan. The research data include quantitative and qualitative data related to the beliefs that BIPA instructors and learners regarding the instructional framework for grammar learning. Data were collected through a questionnaire adapted from Burgess and Etherington (2022) and interviews. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis, referring to the beliefs of BIPA instructors and learners regarding grammar instruction. The data analysis results showed that there are differences in beliefs between BIPA learners and instructors regarding the instructional model for teaching Indonesian grammar. BIPA learners believe that Form-Focused Instruction (FFI) is more effective in mastering Indonesian grammar because it focuses on rules and is taught explicitly and deductively, allowing learners to directly understand the target language rules. In contrast, instructors believe that Meaning-Focused Instruction (MFI) is the most suitable instructional model for teaching Indonesian grammar because it focuses on communicative aspects and taught implicitly and inductively, enabling learners to better apply the target language rules. To accommodate these differences in beliefs, an instructional model is needed to accommodate it with the following stages: (1) exposure, (2) formulation of grammar rules, (3) reinforcement of grammar rules, and (4) the use of grammar rules.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA serta kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Materi Pelestarian Lingkungan Melalui Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Materi Pelestarian Lingkungan Siswa Kelas IV SD. Jenis peneltian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tlogo dengan jumlah 13 anak. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dan angket. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda, isian dan uraian serta pengisisan angket. Data yang telah dikumpulkan, dianalisis dengan tabel dan grafik. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada siklus 1 dari 84.60% siswa belum tuntas pada siklus 2 presentase ketuntasan mencapai 100% dan 100% siswa termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran. Dengan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar materi Pelestarian Alam Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Tlogo. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah didapatkan, penelitian ini memiliki implikasi antara lain: Bagi Siswa (Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa lebih banyak untuk memanfaatkan linkungan dalam mempelajari materi). Bagi Guru (mampu menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning pada mata pelajaran lain) dan Bagi Sekolah (alternative untuk meningkatkan kualitas akademik).   Increasing Students' Motivation and Learning Outcomes on Environmental Preservation Materials Through Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach. The low student learning outcomes in science lessons and the lack of student motivation in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning Model on Increasing Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Environmental Preservation Materials for Class IV Elementary School Students. This type of research is classroom action research. The research variable was the fourth grade students of SD  Negeri Tlogo. Data collection in this study was carried out using test and questionnaire methods. The data collection instrument used was a multiple choice test, filling and description  and  filling  out  a  questionnaire.  The  data  that  has been collected is analyzed with tables and graphs. The results of hypothesis testing showed that there was a significant increase in cycle 1 from 84.60% of students who had not completed in cycle 2 the percentage of completeness reached 100% and 100% of students were motivated to take part in learning. This significant difference proves that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning Model on the Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Class IV Students of SD Negeri Tlogo. Based on the results that have been obtained, this research has implications, including: For Students (The CTL Model provides opportunities for students to take advantage of the environment in studying the material). For teachers (able to apply the CTL Learning Model in other subjects) and for schools (alternatives to improve academic quality).
