Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the learning of the Madrasah Diniyah Education Program (Madin) at SDN Singosaren 1 Ponorogo towards the internalization of moral values. Madin as a non-formal institution in education that teaches Islamic values, including morals, which are very important for building student character. This study uses a qualitative methodology, which involves data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Madin program helps students understand religious theory and apply morality in everyday life. Students are educated to have a disciplined attitude, respect their elders, and avoid negative behavior with the help of experienced teachers. Parental support is also important for the success of this program, because many parents want the Madin program every day. Therefore, the Madin program is considered an effort to improve the morality of students in schools. This program is implemented after school hours by involving religious teachers and competent educators. The main obstacle found is the influence of technology and gadgets that hinder the internalization of Islamic values optimally. However, this program has succeeded in forming students' religious character through habituation and integration of moral values in daily life. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Madin program at SDN Singosaren 1 Ponorogo included congregational prayer activities, learning the Quran, and strengthening discipline.

Abstract

Belajar dimanapun dan kapanpun merupakan kebutuhan manusia, tidak terlepas dari kewajiban belajar, suasana belajar merupakan peran pendukung yang tidak bisa diabaikan. Untuk menimbulkan suasana belajar yang bisa diterima di situasi apapun adalah didukung dengan adanya media pembelajaran. Banyak media pembelajaran yang sudah ada sekarang ini, ada yang gratis dan berbayar. Namun  pembelajaran yang tersedia secara gratis tersebut masih sedikit yang mengacu ke kurikulum sesuai tingkatan pendidikan. Media pembelajaran dalam bentuk aplikasi berbasis android yang materinya mengacu sesuai kurikulum untuk tingkat dasar MI/SD masih jarang dijumpai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat prototipe media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kurikulum peserta didik. Keunggulan dari aplikasi media pembelajaran ini lebih terstruktur karena berpedoman pada kurikulum pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas 1 di tingkat MI/SD pada materi membaca permulaan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode pengembangan sistem waterfall untuk pengembangan aplikasinya, dimulai dari tahap analisis sampai pengujian. Pengujian terhadap aplikasi menggunakan metode black box testing. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa menu-menu yang terdapat pada aplikasi ini telah berjalan dengan baik sesuai dokumen perancangan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of democratic parenting on students' achievement in memorizing the Qur'an. It specifically explores how parenting styles characterized by support and autonomy contribute to children's motivation, concentration, and consistency in Qur'anic memorization. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey method, data were obtained from 87 students of Islamic boarding schools and their parents using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed through simple linear regression to determine the relationship between parenting style and memorization outcomes. The findings reveal that democratic parenting has a statistically significant positive influence on students’ success in memorizing the Qur'an. Parents who practice open communication, provide emotional support, and engage their children in decision-making processes tend to enhance the consistency and intrinsic motivation of their children in memorization. These results underscore the importance of external factors, particularly parenting styles, in reinforcing students' internal perseverance and religious commitment. The study suggests that educational institutions and religious educators implement targeted parenting programs to promote effective democratic parenting practices

Abstract

Students' early reading skills at the Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) in Hulu Langat, Malaysia, often present a challenge that impacts the effectiveness of the learning process. Many children of Indonesian migrant workers face difficulties in developing reading skills and have a limited understanding of Pancasila values. To address this issue, the Smart Book Pancasila was introduced as an innovative learning tool designed to create a more engaging and interactive learning environment.  This study explores how the Smart Book Pancasila helps improve early reading abilities and the comprehension of Pancasila values among students at SB Hulu Langat. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The primary informants included administrators, teachers, and students.  The findings indicate that the use of the Smart Book in Pancasila learning contributes positively to the improvement of students' reading skills. Using interactive visuals and engaging content helps students better understand reading material while also internalizing the values of Pancasila. Thus, the Smart Book Pancasila is an effective alternative strategy for early literacy development, particularly for children with limited access to formal education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze development of gifted student’s elementary school at MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur’an Gontor Ponorogo. This research uses a descriptive, qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation and interview techniques. Interviews were conducted with principals, teachers, guardians of students, and students. The data analysis technique was performed using an interactive model (Miles and Huberman), while the data validity test used data triangulation. The results show that the development of giftedness of student’s elementary school has been in line with the concept of the three rings of Renzulli, where the characteristics of gifted students at MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur’an Gontor, including showing above-average ability, show commitment to the task. as enthusiasm, and involvement with a particular problem or area, self-confidence and desire, showing high creativity as fluency, flexibility, and authenticity in thinking, openness to experience, curiosity, and the courage to take steps.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the integration of writing skills in the teaching of AIK (Aqidah Akhlak) at MI Muhammadiyah Ponorogo on the understanding of religious materials and the improvement of students' writing skills. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, through observation, interviews, and analysis of student written documents. The results of the study show that the integration of writing skills in AIK learning can improve students' understanding of religious materials, as well as help students to connect religious teachings with their personal experiences. Despite the improvement in the quality of writing, there is a variation in writing skills among students, with some showing excellent skills, while others still have difficulty in composing ideas in writing. These findings point to the importance of special attention to individual differences and the need for further support for students who need help with writing skills.

Abstract

This study examines the crucial role of caregivers in shaping and enhancing the religious character of resident students at LKSA Ar Fakhrudin Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Most of these students, equivalent to high school age, come from families with limited understanding of Islamic teachings. Caregivers not only provide theoretical guidance but also serve as role models actively involved in the students' daily lives. The study aims to explore (1) the role of caregivers in enhancing the religious character at LKSA and (2) the implications of this role for character development. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving interviews with the head of LKSA, caregivers, and resident students, as well as observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana's framework, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that caregivers act as mentors, motivators, and educators, resulting in increased sincerity, obedience, responsibility, independence, creativity, and respect among the students.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai pendidikan ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa signifikan pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar IPAS siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode berbasis angka atau disebut kuantitatif dan jenisnya pendekatan ex post facto serta teknik dalam pengambilan atau penarikan sampelnya nonprobability sampling dengan melalui purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian ini secara keseluruhan ialah semua siswa dari kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo yang terdiri atas 127 siswa dengan sampel atau subjek penelitian sejumlah 96 siswa serta teknik mengumpulkan datanya dengan memanfaatkan membagikan angket kepada siswa dan dokumentasi penting yang dimiliki guru. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dianalisis melalui penerapan uji statistik dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil uji hipotesis melalui analisis regresi linier menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,029 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pola asuh orang tua memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPAS siswa. Oleh karena itu dapat dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPAS siswa di sekolah dasar, dengan kontribusi sebesar 5%. Sehingga semakin baik pola pengasuhan dari orang tua, maka semakin tinggi prestasi belajar IPAS siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the visionary leadership of school principals in improving tourism education. Using this type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, the research target is at SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation study. Data analysis techniques include data collection, condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results showed that the principal's visionary leadership in improving tourism education at SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo has been running effectively and efficiently by showing three dimensions: commitment, consistency, and competence. The principal's visionary leadership has also shown himself to be an “agent of change”, which consists of conceptual skills, technical skills, and human relations. The efforts of the principal of SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo in improving tourism education are: (1) the ability of the principal to manifest his behaviour and attitude to his members; (2) the principal's ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally, supported by thinking out of the box; (3) the ability of the principal in identifying and solving problems with new techniques and methods and not being too cooperative; (4) the ability of the principal to leave doubts, be ready to take risks for innovation, and be open to doing different things; (5) the principal's ability to use the power of imagination, appreciation, intuition in making decisions.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah education is very important and needs to be instilled in MI/SD children. In the educationalprocess, it is necessary to instill Muhammadiyah values to strengthen character values in children from anearly age. There are several partner problems including 1) still using simple APE to help teacher learningrelated to the introduction of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan lessons; (2) there is no integration of generallearning with al Islam Kemuhammadiyahan; (3) there is no APE in the form of innovative APE related tothe introduction of Muhammadiyah values in children. The method used in this PKM is internalization inlearning activities, exemplary, and habituation with the empowerment model which includes: a) assessmentrelated to the mechanism of implementation of Focus Group Discussion (FGD); b) conducting workshopsto increase knowledge and skills in preparing RPP using Bismu's APE; c) technical guidance I to assist thepreparation of lesson plans using Bismu's APE; d) evaluation and reflection; The Educational Game Tool(APE) created is Bismu (Innovative Solutive Reading Beginning Bus). This Bismu is a redesign of the toybus vehicle that is often played by children in their daily lives. APE Bismu is designed with various kindsof games in each part including learning to read beginning which contains the values ofkemumahammadiyahan to be instilled in children including Islamic values, sincerity, tajdid, cooperation,and caring. The results of the activity are (1) Assistance in making Bismu APE; (2) 90% achievement oftraining on making Bismu APE; (3) the achievement of Learning Device Design using APE. This programexplains that all achievement targets are met by 90%, the level of training satisfaction is 96%.
