Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to see political patronage in the concept of citizenship in the Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Medan pesantren. Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah is one of the modern pesantren that has kiai as an important figure. However, the relationship between kiai and santri tends to be emotional, cultural, and forms patronage. Kiai is a patron who has power and influence. While santri is a client group that has a sami'na wa atho'na attitude. This patronage is not only in religious matters but also in political matters. Referring to the concept of citizenship, the patronage established between Kiai and Santri is considered contrary to democratic principles. This is because the political behaviour of students is still influenced by kiai figures. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Primary data is deep interviews. While secondary data is sourced from books and journals. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and FGDs. While the data validation technique uses the triangulation method. The results of the study found that political patronage in the Ponpes Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah took the form of half-hearted political patronage. The obedience of santri to kiai is limited to religious matters only, not in political matters.-------------------AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat patronase politik dalam konsep kewarganegaraan di pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Medan. Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah merupakan salah satu pesantren modern yang memiliki kiai sebagai figur penting. Akan tetapi hubungan yang terjalin antara kiai dan santri cenderung bersifat emosional kultural dan membentuk patronase. Kiai merupakan patron yang memiliki power dan pengaruh. Sedangkan santri adalah kelompok client yang memiliki sikap sami’na wa atho’na. Patronase ini tidak hanya dalam urusan agama saja, melainkan juga dalam persoalan politik. Merujuk pada konsep kewarganegaraan, patronase yang terjalin antara kiai dan santri dianggap berlawanan dengan prinsip demokrasi. Hal ini dikarenakan perilaku politik santri masih dipengaruhi oleh figure kiai. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data primer berupa deep interview. Sedangkan data sekunder bersumber dari buku dan jurnal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan FGD. Sedangkan teknik validasi data menggunakan metode triangulasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa patronase politik di ponpes Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah berbentuk patronase politik setengah hati. Kepatuhan santri kepada kiai terbatas hanya dalam persoalan agama saja tidak dalam urusan politik.

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this study is to ascertain the standards for pedagogical proficiency among civic education teacher in the 21st century, as well as to identify approaches for enhancing their competency. The research method chosen is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which uses data from international and national journal articles. The findings indicate that (1) the essential competencies that Civic Education Teachers in the 21st century must possess include life and career skills, encompassing self-regulation, social interaction, and a culture of leadership, productivity, and responsibility; (2) The acquisition of learning and innovation skills, encompassing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and collaborative engagement in creative endeavors and information sharing; (3) The acquisition of skills in information media and technology, encompassing both information technology and media abilities, is of paramount importance. Teachers must have a comprehensive understanding of information literacy, media literacy, and ICT literacy. Digital pedagogy is a strategy to improve the competence of 21st-century PPKn teachers. Digital pedagogy presents not only digital learning but also digital ethics in utilizing digital resources or learning media.---------------------------------------Abstrak Penelitian menelaah standar kemahiran pedagogi di kalangan guru PPKn pada abad ke-21, serta mengidentifikasi pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mereka. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan sumber data terdiri dari gabungan artikel jurnal internasional dan nasional. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi esensial yang harus dimiliki guru di abad 21 meliputi keterampilan hidup dan karir, meliputi pengaturan diri, interaksi sosial, dan budaya kepemimpinan, produktivitas, dan tanggung jawab, (2) perolehan keterampilan belajar dan inovasi, yang mencakup pemikiran kritis, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, komunikasi efektif, dan keterlibatan kolaboratif dalam upaya kreatif dan berbagi informasi, (3) perolehan keterampilan dalam media dan teknologi informasi, yang mencakup kemampuan teknologi informasi dan media, adalah hal yang sangat penting. Urgen bagi guru untuk memiliki pemahaman komprehensif tentang literasi informasi, literasi media, dan literasi TIK. Pedagogi digital hadir sebagai strategi upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru PPKn abad 21. Pedagogi digital tidak hanya menghadirkan pembelajaran digital, tetapi juga etika digital dalam menamfaatkan sumber daya atau sebagai media pembelajaran digital.

Abstract

Fenomena peringatan darurat yang marak di media sosial pasca putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) terkait pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada) menjadi sorotan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi dan implikasi dari peringatan darurat terkait putusan MK. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif, penelitian ini akan mengkaji konten pesan, serta dinamika interaksi di media sosial. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan menganalisis dampak peringatan darurat terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat, kesadaran hukum, dan kepercayaan terhadap lembaga negara. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami peran media sosial dalam demokrasi, serta implikasi bagi penguatan pengawasan terhadap putusan lembaga peradilan.

Abstract

Pendidikan anti korupsi merupakan komponen penting dalam pembangunan karakter warga negara Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan anti korupsi dalam mata kuliah kewarganegaraan dengan fokus pada analisis kasus korupsi yang bernilai Rp 271 triliun. Kasus korupsi timah yang melibatkan PT Timah Tbk dari tahun 2015 hingga 2022 telah menimbulkan kerugian lingkungan dan ekonomi yang sangat besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis implikasi kasus korupsi tersebut pada pembangunan karakter warga negara Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan anti korupsi dalam mata kuliah kewarganegaraan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa tentang korupsi, serta membentuk perilaku yang anti korupsi. Kasus korupsi timah yang dipelajari dalam penelitian ini mencakup kerugian ekologis, ekonomi, dan biaya pemulihan lingkungan yang mencapai Rp 271 triliun. Analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa korupsi tidak hanya merugikan keuangan negara, tetapi juga berdampak besar pada lingkungan hidup dan kesehatan masyarakat.

creativity and innovation so that graduates are better prepared to compete in the job market. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the internship program at Medan State University and develop optimization strategies that focus on enhancing student creativity and innovation. This study was conducted using a mixed-method approach, namely a qualitative approach through interviews with students and industry representatives and observation. The quantitative approach through surveys and tests of student performance in the internship program. The research subjects included students and several partner companies where students underwent internships. The results showed that students involved in the internship program with an innovative project-based approach had higher levels of creativity compared to students who only carried out administrative tasks. Factors contributing to the program's success included the involvement of industry mentors, the integration of a problem-solving-based curriculum, and support facilities that foster innovation. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a creativity- and innovation-based internship program optimization model, which has not yet been widely implemented in Indonesian universities. This contributes to academic policy by improving the effectiveness of internship programs and strengthening university-industry collaborations to produce graduates better prepared to compete in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal regulations for the issuance and revocation of nickel Mining Business Permits (IUP) in Raja Ampat, assess whether the revocation of Mining Business Permits (IUP) by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is in accordance with the principles of legality and the General Principles of Good Governance (AUPB), and examine its efforts to protect the right to a good and healthy environment. This study uses a normative juridical method with a regulatory approach and a conceptual approach in State Administrative Law. The results show that the issuance and revocation of Mining Business Permits (IUP) have a clear legal basis in the Mineral and Coal Law and other related regulations, including regulations on the environment and government administration. After the amendment to the Mining Law, the authority to issue and revoke Mining Business Permits (IUP) rests with the central government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). However, in its implementation, these administrative actions must still comply with the principles of legality and the General Principles of Good Governance (AUPB), such as legal certainty, accuracy, transparency, and the public interest. Revocation of a Mining Business Permit (IUP) can be considered legally valid if carried out by an authorized official, through proper procedures, and based on violations of applicable provisions, particularly those related to environmental protection. This action also has a significant impact on protecting the community's right to a good and healthy environment, particularly in the Raja Ampat region, which has high ecological value. Therefore, the use of government authority must be carried out carefully, transparently, and responsibly to achieve a balance between development and environmental protection.
