Abstract

The combination of monetary and fiscal policies is used to stabilize prices in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of monetary and fiscal policies in stabilizing prices in Indonesia through the threshold concept. The data used is time series (2013Q1-2023Q2) with the Threshold Vector Autoregression method. The results show that the interest rate and budget thresholds can affect inflation stability. Other variables, such as the exchange rate, output gap, and FFR, have varying effects depending on the threshold. Thus, combining adjustments in monetary and fiscal policies and understanding the impact of inflation at various policymakers can better manage economic growth and maintain price stability in the long term.

Abstract

Everyone has preferences in choosing food, one of the favorite foods of Indonesian people is noodles. As a society with a Muslim majority, it is certainly important to know and practice Islamic teachings, including in choosing food, of course, halal is the right choice. This study analyzes the influence of religiosity variables, halal labels, and prices on purchasing decisions for spicy noodles. The method used is quantitative, analyzing data through numbers through questionnaires. The analysis used is multiple linear regression with partial t and simultaneous f hypothesis tests. The results of the study indicate that the variables of religiosity, halal labels, and prices have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously. The results of this study are expected to contribute to academics purchasing decisions and can also be used as a guideline for further research. This study is also likely to be used as a reference for companies or producers of spicy noodles for strategies in attracting consumers.

Abstract

One way to implement the Tridharma of Higher Education is through the Community Service Program (KKN) in the form of student community service. KKN activities are carried out with the aim of developing and building the potential of the village or solving problems in the village. The Research Team consisting of Lecturers collaborated with students from the University of Jember in the University's Village Development Community Service (KKN UMD) in Baletbaru Village, Sukowono District, Jember Regency. Based on identification carried out through direct observation, Baletbaru Village has the potential for village development through the utilization of rambutan commodities that grow abundantly in almost all villages. The Community Service Team found the potential to create home products with high selling power. The method used in village development is the Business Model Canvas. The results of the community service produced products in the form of herbal drinks from rambutan skin with the brand "Anyis", cocktails from rambutan flesh with the brand "Legion", and chips from rambutan wedges with the brand "Bobi". The target of the work program is housewives in Baletbaru Village. The work program activities are expected to be an alternative to improving the family economy in Baletbaru Village.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat “MENGETIK: Menuju Mengen Produsen Itik” dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi tingginya pengangguran pemuda dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan potensi peternakan itik di Desa Mengen, Kabupaten Bondowoso. Metode pengabdian melalui pendekatan Community-Based Innovation Empowerment (CBIE). Program ini melibatkan kelompok Mitra yang terdiri dari 10 orang pemuda dan atau rumah tangga kurang produktif secara ekonomi dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemandirian usaha peternak itik melalui penguatan kapasitas teknis dan manajerial berbasis inovasi pakan lokal, sebagai fondasi awal menuju pengembangan sentra produksi itik berbasis potensi lokal. Kegiatan meliputi survei kebutuhan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis pembuatan pakan fermentasi berbasis dedak jagung, serta pendampingan teknis dan manajerial. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi peserta sebesar rata-rata 40% berdasarkan pre-test dan post-test, dengan tingkat keberhasilan program mencapai 85,83%. Secara keseluruhan, program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas teknis, manajerial, dan ekonomi masyarakat, serta berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian SDGs desa melalui penguatan ekonomi lokal dan penerapan sistem produksi peternakan yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the English pronunciation skills of students at Anharul Ulum Islamic Junior High School, Blitar Regency, particularly in a pesantren-based educational context. Prior to the program, by conducting a pre-test, the students demonstrated moderate to low pronunciation proficiency, characterized by limited accuracy in segmental and suprasegmental features, low fluency, and a lack of confidence in oral production. To address these issues, the program was implemented through three stages: introduction, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, Interactive Whispering Games were employed as a game-based learning strategy to promote active participation, collaborative learning, and reduced speaking anxiety. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessments involving 53 students, complemented by observation and reflective feedback from students and teachers. The results revealed improvements across all assessed pronunciation aspects, with the highest increase observed in fluency, indicating enhanced spontaneity and confidence in oral production. Qualitative findings further showed increased student engagement, motivation, and positive attitudes toward pronunciation practice. Overall, the program demonstrates that Interactive Whispering Games are an effective, low-technology, and contextually appropriate approach for enhancing pronunciation skills in pesantren-based junior high schools and offer a practical model for similar community service initiatives.
