Abstract

Pengolahan rimpang sebagai bahan dasar produksi jamu tradisional memegang peranan penting dalam industri kesehatan berbasis herbal. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh usaha mikro di Desa Sengguruh adalah keterbatasan alat pengolahan yang efisien, khususnya pada proses pengeringan rimpang yang mempengaruhi kualitas produk akhir. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses pengeringan rimpang dengan penerapan alat pengering hemat energi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan, instalasi, dan pelatihan penggunaan alat pengering berbasis biomassa, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan kualitas rimpang kering. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat pengering hemat energi dapat mengurangi waktu pengeringan hingga 40% dan meningkatkan kualitas produk jamu dalam hal kandungan nutrisi dan kebersihan. Selain itu, teknologi ini juga berkontribusi pada penurunan biaya produksi dan mendukung keberlanjutan usaha mikro di Desa Sengguruh. Implementasi alat pengering ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan usaha mikro lainnya di bidang jamu tradisional di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Pondasi strous memiliki fungsi sangat penting didalam konstruksi pada suatu bangunan karena fungsi dari semua pondasi adalah titik dasar perkuatan pada konstruksi. Fungsi dari pondasi strous sangat banyak yang salah satunya yaitu mengurangi resiko penurunan tanah pada bangunan yang nantinya akan berdiri menggunakan dasaran pondasi strous. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode dan rencana anggaran biaya dalam pekerjaan pondasi strouss. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif melalui studi kasus pada proyek pembangunan masjid di Tlogoanyar Lamongan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pekerjaan pembangunan pondasi strouss pada proyek pembangunan masjid di Tlogoanyar Lamongan sudah sesuai dengan metode berstandar SNI dan ada metode yang belum menggunakan standar SNI saat melakukan pekerjaan pembangunan pondasi strous berlangsung.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of an integrated learning model in the Construction Structure and Construction Management course, and examine how the model can improve students' readiness in using real-time data that is relevant to the needs of the construction industry. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with an integrated learning study method. The research location is in the Civil Engineering Study Program, Darul 'Ulum Islamic University, Lamongan. The research subjects consisted of lecturers and students who were taking related courses. This learning model was implemented through six main stages: introduction to theory, technology integration, real-time data-based project simulation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, data-based decision making, and evaluation. The results showed that students gained a better understanding of the relationship between theory and practice, and began to get used to processing and analyzing data in the context of project decision making. However, limited access to technology and lack of technical training are major challenges. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of providing supporting infrastructure and strengthening cooperation with industry so that learning is more contextual and applicable.

Abstract

Sandblasting waste from the shipbuilding industry and fly ash waste from industry and electric steam power plants in Indonesia are relatively high in quantity, are B3, and can potentially cause serious environmental pollution. This research aims to utilize this waste as material for ferrocement concrete, where the SiO2 and Al2O3 content from fly ash replaces some of the cement, silica sand from sandblasting waste replaces sand, and additional wire mesh as reinforcement. The method used is a quantitative experiment, where the material to be used is tested for gradation and TCLP. The finished ferrocement concrete is tested for flexural strength. The test results show that the raw material meets the gradation standards in SNI 03 2834 2000, as well the TCLP test results which show that the B3 heavy metal content is Barium, Zinc, and Copper in the sandblasting waste value is below the quality standards of PP No. 22 of 2021 Appendix XI so that all materials can be used for mix designs. The mix design created has a composition ratio of 1S:1.5PB, 1S:1.5PB:50AT, 1S:2PB, and 1S:1PB:50AT. The 1S:2PB ratio composition has the highest average flexural strength, namely 17.46 MPa, which is suitable for light vertical load construction work

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital simulation berbasis Building Information Modelling (BIM) yang mengintegrasikan rencana desain, anggaran biaya, dan scheduling dalam pembelajaran manajemen konstruksi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan research and development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, melibatkan mahasiswa yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok: desain, anggaran biaya, dan scheduling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan nilai post-test dibandingkan pre-test, dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 26,15% pada kelompok desain, 29,03% pada kelompok anggaran biaya, dan 29,69% pada kelompok scheduling. Selain itu, mahasiswa memberikan respon positif karena media ini dinilai interaktif, mudah digunakan, serta membantu memahami keterkaitan desain, biaya, dan jadwal secara komprehensif. Dengan demikian, integrasi melalui media berbasis BIM terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa sekaligus mendukung transformasi digital dalam pendidikan tinggi teknik sipil dan arsitektur di era industri 4.0.

Abstract

Background: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are one of the main health challenges in Indonesia, especially for the elderly. To reduce the risk of NCDs, prevention efforts are needed through education and implementing a healthy lifestyle. The CERDIK program (regular health checks, get rid of cigarette smoke, be diligent in physical activity, have a healthy and balanced diet, get enough rest, manage stress) is an effective approach in supporting the prevention of NCDs. This outreach activity was carried out at Posyandu Kemuning RT 01 RW 08 Made Village with the aim of increasing the understanding and awareness of the elderly regarding the prevention of NCDs. Methods: This activity included interactive education, practical simulations, group discussions, and simple health checks. The activity was attended by the elderly from RT 01 RW 08 and involved posyandu cadres and village midwives. The community service activities were carried out in four stages, namely preparation, implementation of socialisation, mentoring and evaluation, and follow-up. Results: This activity showed an increase in participant knowledge, participant understanding in doing simple physical activities, and understanding of the importance of healthy eating and exercising. The mentoring and education program provided showed an average increase in scores of 42.4% in three main aspects: knowledge, understanding of physical activity, and motivation for healthy living. Conclusion: This activity emphasizes the importance of a community-based approach to support the sustainability of a healthy lifestyle. With ongoing mentoring and education, it is hoped that this program can have a long-term impact in reducing the prevalence of NCDs in the elderly.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAutoCAD is a very important application, especially in engineering, one of which is Architecture. However, there are no specific courses that teach design using AutoCAD. Thus causing some problems found in the implementation of teaching and learning. First, there are not a few students who do not understand the functions and uses of AutoCAD itself, thus making lecturers have to provide basic material about AutoCAD outside of the subjects that should be delivered. Second, the limitations of students who have personal computers, so that students are less than optimal in independent learning regarding the functions and uses of AutoCAD and rely more on learning in the computer laboratory. Third, the low interest of students in reading books related to AutoCAD knowledge. This study uses the R&D method with the Alessi & Trollip development model with a sample of STT STIKMA International students. In this study, the development of this learning is validated by expert lecturers who will validate the overall content of the product in the form of a learning video. In addition to validation sheets, data collection was also carried out through questionnaires or questionnaires distributed to students. This questionnaire instrument uses a Likert scale. From the research validation process, it shows that the results of the material test have a value of 68.75% which is categorized in quite good criteria, the media test has a value of 90.38% which is categorized in very good criteria and the test to students has a value of 79.54% which is categorized in very good criteria, so that the development of learning the basics of AutoCAD is feasible to be used in the learning process. Akan tetapi tidak ada matakuliah spesifik yang mengajarkan desain menggunakan Autocad. Sehingga menyebabkan beberapa permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pelaksanaan belajar mengajar. Pertama, tidak sedikit mahasiswa yang kurang paham akan fungsi dan kegunaan dari Autocad itu sendiri, sehingga membuat dosen harus memberi materi dasar tentang Autocad diluar mata pelajaran yang seharusnya disampaikan. Kedua, keterbatasan mahasiswa yang memiliki komputer pribadi, sehingga mahasiswa kurang maksimal dalam pembelajaran secara mandiri terkait fungsi dan kegunaan Autocad dan lebih mengandalkan belajar saat di laboratorium komputer. Ketiga, rendahnya minat mahasiswa membaca buku terkait pengetahuan Autocad. Untuk itu peneliti akan membuat video pembelajaran dan buku elektronik tentang dasar-dasar Autocad, selain itu dengan adanya video pembelajaran ini nantinya akan memudahkan para Dosen untuk melakukan penugasan matakuliahnya sesuai materi matakuliahnya namun membutuhkan Autocad sehingga tidak terkendala kemampuan mahasiswa yang masih belum memahami fungsi dan kegunaan Autocad. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan model pengembangan Alessi & Trollip dengan sampel mahasiswa STT STIKMA Internasional. Dalam penelitian ini, pengembangan pembelajaran ini divalidasi oleh Dosen ahli yang akan memvalidasi tentang isi keseluruhan dari produk yang berupa video pembelajaran. Selain lembar validasi pengumpulan  data  juga  dilakukan  melalui kuesioner  atau  angket  yang  dibagikan  ke mahasiswa. Instrumen angket  ini menggunakan skala  Likert. Dari proses validasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji materi memiliki nilai 68,75% yang dikategorikan dalam kriteria cukup baik, uji media memiliki nilai 90,38% yang dikategorikan dalam kriteria sangat baik dan uji coba kepada mahasiswa memiliki nilai 79,54% yang dikategorikan dalam kriteria sangat baik, sehingga pengembangan pembelajaran dasar-dasar Autocad layak untuk dipergunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Columns are vertical structural elements in construction planning and implementation, which play a crucial role in distributing loads from the superstructure to the foundation. Therefore, columns must meet the strength and safety standards stipulated in technical regulations such as SNI 2847:2019 and ACI 440.2R-17. However, in reality, structural columns are often found to have strengths that are less than required. The need to strengthen existing structural columns generally arises due to several reasons, including revisions to building functions that cause additional loads, aging buildings that begin to exhibit a decrease in structural capacity, or discrepancies between actual conditions and the initial planning design. This research was conducted on eight columns of the first floor structure of the JIIPE Tower construction project. The columns that were the object of the research are part of the main structure of a multi-story building planned as the JIIPE Tower building. Based on the results of calculations using SAP2000 for longitudinal and transverse reinforcement against the column force and geometry requirements, it is evident that the columns meet the requirements for the shortest side and the requirements for the cross-sectional dimension ratio; however, they do not meet the Axial Force Requirements. The study results show that the proper use of FRP can be an efficient and effective reinforcement method in increasing column capacity.

Abstract

Malang is a student city, marked by the many universities in Malang, but many boarding houses do not provide comfort to the residents. Comfort which is the focus of research is lighting, ventilation and circulation settings. The method used is descriptive deductive architectural criticism, namely departing from theory to gain substantive knowledge and its parameters. Based on the analysis of comfort, it was found that the area of the lighting opening in room 1 was 2.61m2, and in rooms 2, 3 and 4 it was 1.26m2. This means that the lighting in room 1 meets the standard, while rooms 2, 3 and 4 do not meet the standard. In terms of ventilation, room 1 has a ventilation area of 4.74m2 and rooms 2, 3 and 4 have an ventilation area of 2.04m2. Means that all rooms have met the standard. In terms of human and vehicle circulation, the object has a width of 1m which functions as access for motorbikes from the gate to the parking lot, and the motorbike parking area for the object has a size of 1.5m x 3m for 2 motorbikes, meaning it does not meet the standards.
