Abstract

Students' mathematical representation skills still need to be improved and developed. Because when faced with questions students experience difficulties and confusion to solve, where to start, which formulas to use and how to solve them. The ability of students in the aspect of mathematical representation is not optimal. Basically, each student also has the characteristics of different ways of thinking that influence the process of representing solving mathematical problems. This study aims to determine the mathematical representation ability of students in terms of Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Complience (DISC) characteristics. The subjects of this study were students of class X MA Raudlatul Muta'allimin Babat. This research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research concludes the research data in the form of numbers. The data collection method uses a DISC characteristic questionnaire, representation ability test and interviews. The results showed that: (1) Subjects with Dominance characteristics were able to solve all aspects of mathematical representations, namely visual representations in the form of images, equations or mathematical expressions, and written words or texts. (2) Subjects with the characteristics of Influence are able to solve two aspects of mathematical representation, namely visual representations in the form of images and equations or mathematical expressions, whereas in the aspects of words or written texts students have not been able to solve them well. (3) Subjects with Steadiness characteristics are able to solve all aspects of mathematical representations, namely visual representations in the form of images, equations or mathematical expressions, and written words or texts. all questions and able to explain well. (4) Subjects with Compliance Characteristics are able to complete one aspect, namely the visual representation aspect in the form of images, while in the form of mathematical equations or expressions, and written words or texts, students have not been able to complete it properly.

Abstract

Program Sekolah Penggerak (PSP) is one of the effort made by the government to realize the vision on Indonesian education to become advanced, sovereign, independent, have a personality and create a profile  of Pancasila students. Through the driving school program, several activities were carried out, one of which was an online Learning Committee Training (PKP) which was attended by principals and teachers for 10 days using a moodle with an asynchronous synchronous approach. In this study, it will be emphasized whether using a synchronous asynchronous approach is effective in understanding the implementation of an independent curriculum as indicated by the results of the pre-test and post-test. The research subjects used were 18 people consisting of 6 principals and 12 elemetary school teacher from 6 different schools. The result obtained, it was found that the training using the  asynchronous synchronous approach was effective in increasing understanding about the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether student learning outcomes after using e-learning-based collaborative learning (KABEL) on heat material were better and whether there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after the using KABEL application. This experimental study used a pre-experimental design and a one-group post-experimental design. Data was collected by giving a multiple-choice pre-test and post-test to 150 randomly selected class XI students. The results of data analysis showed that student learning outcomes increased by 47.34 when compared to the material before and after using e-learning-based collaborative learning. The learning outcomes of students' attitudes and skills after using e-learning-based collaborative learning (KABEL) are in the very good category, with an average score of 3.66 for the attitude aspect and 3.8 for the skills aspect.

Abstract

E-learning-based collaboration (KABEL) can be used as an alternative to improve learning outcomes and student cooperation. This study aims to develop high school physics learning tools using e-learning based collaboration model in the form of lesson planning, student worksheet, teaching materials and learning outcomes on heat material. The method used is development research 4-D development models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results of the study show: 1) The validation of learning devices achieves very valid criteria; 2) The practicality of learning devices is determined through the implementation of learning at 87% with very good criteria and student response questionnaires at 83.77% with good criteria; 3) The effectiveness of learning devices is determined through student activities at 83.64% with good criteria and student learning outcomes in temperature and heat at 45 with criteria N-gain medium. Thus, it was concluded that the design of learning devices using collaborative learning models based on e-learning heat material is valid, practical, and effective criteria.
