Abstract

Neuromarketing utilizes neuroscientific techniques to investigate consumer behavior, providing valuable insights beyond traditional research methods such as questionnaires and interviews which may not provide a complete understanding of consumer decision-making processes. Electroencephalography (EEG) has emerged as a promising tool for analyzing consumer responses to marketing stimuli. Nevertheless, the neural processing of slogans and their impact on short-term memory recall using EEG signals remains understudied. This research aims to bridge this gap by examining the neural activity associated with the recall of slogans using EEG analysis. By employing a spatial selection and spectral processing method, which involves Butterworth BPF filtering and L2-norm normalization to identify optimal channel combinations, active brain areas involved in slogan processing can be identified. Results reveal prominent activation in the frontal and occipital regions, particularly the F4 channel, indicating active recall and visual processing in individuals who correctly respond to slogans. These findings underscore the significance of slogans as visual marketing stimuli and offer insights for effective branding strategies. Leveraging EEG signals and understanding short-term memory processes enables marketers to optimize the impact of slogans on consumer engagement and brand recognition.

Abstract

ABSTRAKOdontologi forensik merupakan sebuah cabang ilmu forensik yang melakukan proses identifikasi berdasarkan gigi. Gigi merupakan salah satu bagian tubuh manusia paling kuat kuat. Dalam masa pertumbuhan, gigi manusia mengalami degeneratif pada usia tertentu, sehingga gigi dapat menjadi media dalam proses identifikasi usia. Pada penelitian ini, dirancang sistem pengolahan citra yang dapat mendeteksi usia manusia pada citra radiograf panoramik gigi. Sistem ini menggunakan metode Binary Large Object dan Decision Tree. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem dapat mendeteksi usia berdasarkan citra gigi molar pertama dengan tingkat akurasi lebih dari 80%, pada saat menggunakan parameter structuring element jenis Disk dengan jari-jari 4 piksel, ciri area dan rasio pulpa, serta jenis algoritma pada decision tree yaitu curvature dengan jumlah 50 percabangan.Kata kunci: citra radiograf panoramik, pulpa gigi, molar pertama, decision tree, binary large object ABSTRACTForensic odontology is a branch of forensic science that carries out dental identification processes. Teeth are one of the strongest parts of the human body In the period of growth, human teeth degenerative at a certain age, so that teeth can be a medium in the process of age identification. In this study, an image processing system was designed that could detect human age on dental panoramic radiographs. This system using the Binary Large Object and Decision Tree methods. Based on the test results, the system can detect age based on the image of the first molar with an accuracy level of more than 80%, when using a Disk type structuring element parameter with a radius of 4 pixels, the area and pulp ratio features, and the type of algorithm in the decision tree, namely curvature with the number of 50 branches.Keywords: panoramic radiograph image, teeth pulp, first molar, decision tree,binary large object

Abstract

ABSTRAKIndeks massa tubuh (IMT) merupakan sebuah nilai untuk menentukan proporsionalitas postur tubuh. Dengan indeks massa tubuh, seseorang dapat mengetahui kondisi tubuhnya tidak hanya mengenai proporsional posturnya, namun juga informasi mengenai resiko penyakit. Dalam menentukan IMT diperlukan data berat badan dan tinggi badan, sehingga dalam pengukurannya perlu dua alat ukur yang menyebabkan pengukuran ini menjadi kurang praktis. Pada penelitian ini diusulkan sebuah timbangan IMT portabel, dimana data tinggi badan diturunkan dari data panjang telapak kaki. Dalam pengukuran panjang telapak kaki, sensor jarak dilengkapi dengan sensor suhu sebagai parameter untuk memudahkan kalibrasi. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan suatu alat ukur IMT dengan dimensi 500mmx200mmx60mm dengan akurasi sebesar 86,7%. Terdapat pengaruh lain selain panjang telapak kaki untuk mendapatkan prediksi tinggi badan yang lebih akurat, seperti lebar telapak kaki dan panjang kaki. People can find out the condition of his body not only about his proportional posture but also the information about the risk of disease in determining BMI, weight, and height. Conventionally, the BMI can be measured by using two measuring tools, so it becomes less practical. A portable BMI scale is proposed in this study, where height data is derived from foot length data. In the process of measuring the foot length, the proximity sensor is equipped with a temperature sensor as a parameter to facilitate calibration This research resulted in a BMI measuring instrument with dimensions of 500mmx200mmx60mm with an accuracy of 86.7%. Besides foot length, there are other influences to get a more accurate prediction of height, such as foot width and foot length.Keywords: BMI, obesity, foot length anthropometry, proximity sensor, temperature sensor

Abstract

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a respiratory obstruction that occurs during sleep and is often known as snoring. OSA is often ignored even though it can cause cardiovascular problems. Early diagnosis is needed for prevention towards worse complications. OSA clinical diagnosis can use polysomnography (PSG) while the patient is sleeping. The PSG examination includes calculating total apnea plus hypopnea every hour during sleep. However, PSG examination tends to be high cost, takes a long time, and is impractical. Since OSA is related to breathing and heart activity, the electrocardiogram (ECG) examination is an alternative tool in OSA analysis. Therefore, this study proposes OSA detection on single lead ECG using one dimensional (1D)-convolutional neural network (CNN). The proposed CNN architecture consists of 4 convolutional layers, 4 pooling layers, 1 dropout layer, 1 flatten layers, 2 dropout layers, 1 dense layer with rectified linear unit (ReLU) activation function, and 1 dense layer with SoftMax activation function. The proposed method was then tested on the ECG sleep apnea dataset from PhysioNet. The proposed model produces an accuracy of 92.69% with the average pooling scenario. The proposed method is expected to help clinicians in diagnosing OSA based on ECG signals.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence or not on the Profitability, Liquidity, Asset Structure, and Dividend Policy ratios towards Capital Structure in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2018 to 2022. The sample in this study consists of 9 companies selected using purposive sampling technique. With purposive sampling technique, a total of 9 companies with a 5-year period were obtained, resulting in a total of 45 data points for this study. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive statistics, preceded by the Classical Assumption Test. If the data is normally distributed, multiple linear regression analysis can be used, along with the T-test and F-test (simultaneous) and the Coefficient of Determination test using SPSS 25. The partial results of this study indicate that Profitability does not significantly affect Capital Structure, while Liquidity has a positive influence.

Abstract

Abstrak Memberikan pelatihan penggunaan Figma kepada siswa/i SMP Santa Maria Medan (kelas VIII) adalah tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM kali ini. Siswa/i tersebut merupakan sasaran yang paling tepat karena para siswa sudah terbiasa menggunakan peralatan elektronik khususnya komputer. Pelatihan ini juga dapat menjadi modal bagi siswa/i SMP Santa Maria Medan untuk melihat bahwa ilmu pengetahuan berkembang sangat pesat dan tidak terbatas pada mata pelajaran di sekolah saja. Ini juga menjadi penting karena saat ini banyak sekolah tingkat menengah pertama hingga menengah atas yang sudah memiliki website seperti SMP Sutomo 1 Medan dengan situs web https://sutomo-mdn.sch.id/ atau SMP Methodist 2 dengan situs https://meth2medan.sch.id dan disadari pula bahwa kebutuhan akan kemampuan desain sudah semakin penting di dunia pendidikan saat ini, terlihat dari munculnya berbagai kompetisi yang memperlombakan lomba desain web, poster digital, perancangan desain kurikulum belajar yang terpusat yang mengandalkan program komputer, dan lain-lain. Pada kegiatan PkM kali ini, tim PkM memilih Figma sebagai perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk memandu seluruh siswa/i karena Figma adalah alat desain kolaboratif terkemuka yang sangat mudah untuk digunakan oleh berbagai entitas, termasuk pemula. Dengan kemudahan tersebut, pelatihan dapat berjalan dengan baik diikuti 56 orang peserta (dibagi menjadi 2 kelas pelatihan selama 3 pertemuan). Kata kunci: figma; pengenalan; pelatihan; SMP; web Abstract Providing training in using Figma to students at Santa Maria Medan Junior High School (class VIII) is the aim of implementing the community service activity at this time. These students are the most appropriate targets because students are used to using electronic equipment, especially computers. This training can also be an asset for students at Santa Maria Junior High School in Medan to see that science is developing very rapidly and is not limited to just school subjects. This is also important because currently many junior high school level already have websites  like Sutome Junior High School  with https://sutomo-mdn.sch.id/ or Methodist 2 Junior High School with https://meth2medan.sch.id and it is also realized that the need for design skills is increasingly important in the world of education today, as can be seen from the emergence of various competitions that include web design competitions, digital posters, designing a centralized learning curriculum design that relies on computer programs, and so on. In this community service activity, the community service team chose Figma as the software used to guide all students because Figma is a leading collaborative design tool that is very easy to use by various entities, including beginners. Abstract

Introduction: The study of palatine rugae in forensic odontology has become increasingly vital as a means of identifying individuals, particularly in scenarios where conventional identification methods prove inadequate. This scoping review focuses on the identification of palatine rugae in the Indonesian population.  Method: A scoping review was conducted using the Arksey and O'Malley framework and PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Relevant articles were sourced from PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar using Boolean operators and relevant keywords. Studies were included if they involved Indonesian populations, used palatal rugae for identification, were original research, published in Indonesian or English, and available in full text between March 2014 and March 2024. We excluded review articles, non-human studies, and papers in other languages. Two independent reviewers screened and selected articles. Results: The results of the scoping review identified various classifications of palatine rugae, with three articles using the Thomas and Kotze method and one article each using the Kapali, Trobo, Lysell, and Carrea methods. Two articles studied rugae inheritance, and one examined post-orthodontic stability. The widely used Thomas and Kotze method focuses on the length, shape, and direction of the rugae but has limitations in sex determination. Additionally, the Trobo, Kapali, Lysell, and Carrea classifications are also used due to their simplicity and clarity. This study investigated the pattern of palatine rugae and found that the pattern remains consistent before and after orthodontic treatment and is inherited from parent to child. The study also identified potential language bias, limited Indonesian literature on palatine rugae, and methodological variations across research articles. Conclusion: This scoping review affirms the reliability of palatine rugae in forensic odontology in Indonesia, highlights the need for further research to enhance understanding of rugae patterns and inheritance mechanisms, and contributes to the knowledge base for future forensic research and investigations.

Industri perhotelan menghasilkan banyak sisa makanan yang sering kali terbuang percuma. Padahal, sisa makanan ini masih mengandung nutrisi yang berharga. Penelitian ini menciptakan sebuah sistem yang bisa mengukur secara tepat kandungan nutrisi dalam sisa makanan. Dengan sistem ini, kita bisa tahu dengan pasti nutrisi apa saja yang bisa dimanfaatkan dari sisa makanan. Hasilnya, mahasiswa perhotelan bisa menggunakan sistem ini untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang makanan dan nutrisinya. Sistem ini terbukti sangat akurat dan bermanfaat, sehingga disambut baik oleh para mahasiswa. Data kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa sistem timbangan ini mampu menimbang dengan tingkat akurasi di atas 95%. Selain itu, berdasarkan survei, sistem ini mendapatkan respon positif dari mahasiswa dan dianggap sangat bermanfaat dalam penelitian mereka. Abstract

Kanker serviks merupakan penyebab kematian utama wanita di Indonesia. Metode skrining IVA yang digunakan secara luas di layanan primer masih menghadapi keterbatasan akurasi karena bergantung pada pengamatan visual tanpa alat bantu. Penelitian ini mengembangkan purwarupa kolposkop digital berbasis Raspberry Pi 4 untuk meningkatkan kualitas citra guna mendukung deteksi dini. Sistem dilengkapi kamera ArduCam 64MP autofokus, pencahayaan LED dengan kontrol intensitas, dan filter polarisasi untuk mengurangi pantulan. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap performa akuisisi citra, intensitas cahaya, efisiensi daya, serta evaluasi kualitas citra dan validasi deteksi lesi dengan algoritma YOLO. Hasil menunjukkan frame rate mencapai 85.5 FPS (VGA), pencahayaan sesuai standar medis (>1000 lux), dan area refleksi minimum (0.01%). Konfigurasi optimal tercapai pada resolusi 16MP, jarak 15 cm, dan pencahayaan maksimum. Deteksi lesi oleh YOLO mencapai confidence hingga 97%. Purwarupa ini menunjukkan potensi sebagai alat bantu IVA yang terjangkau dan efektif, mendukung observasi klinis dan dokumentasi visual di layanan primer.
