Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is perceived as an unpleasant experience for many people. The various consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic have attracted the attention of various parties, one of which is mental health issues. The restrictions on social activities over a long period of time invoked among others the phenomenon of cabin fever. Cabin fever is a popular term that describes a person’s psychological responses such as demotivation or uncomfortable feelings. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral group therapy as an intervention effort for cabin fever in experimental quantitative research. Quantitative data was collected using the cabin fever phenomenon scale. Group therapy participants were 6 young adults aged 20-22 years. Friedman ANOVA test showed a significant difference between pre-test, post-test, and follow up. This showed that group therapy with a cognitive behavioral approach is effective reducing cabin fever symptoms in young adults.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the phenomenon of quite quiting that exists in workers after returning to work activities in the office. This phenomenon is viewed from the engagement and well being of workers in the workplace. Quite quiting itself is a phenomenon that describes the behavior of workers who choose to quit doing work that is not their main job at work, and become less psychologically invested in work. The approach in this study uses quantitative research methods. There were 377 research subjects spread across 21 provinces in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that employee engagement and well being owned by workers are high. This study illustrates that workers are able to psychologically invest both cognitive, emotional and behavioral in the work they do. Even workers feel psychologically prosperous in carrying out work. Based on these results, it appears that the workers in this study show committed behavior in carrying out their jobs.Keywords: Engagement, Quiet Quiting, Well Being, Worker

Abstract

Kekerasan dalam pacaran, sering dijumpai pada dewasa muda, dapat terjadi dalam bentuk kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikologis, dan kekerasan seksual. Dampak signifikan dari kekerasan dalam pacaran adalah rendahnya self-esteempenyitas. Hal ini juga yang menyebabkan penyitas sulit keluar dari siklus kekerasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan intervensi Cognitive Behavior Therapy(CBT) pada dewasa muda penyitas kekerasan dalam pacaran untuk meningkatkanself-esteem mereka. Desain penelitian ini adalah one-group pre-test-post-test design (kuasi eksperimen). Jumlah sampel ialah tiga orang, diperoleh dengan teknikpurposive sampling. Efektivitas terapi dilihat dari evaluasi kualitatif (penambahan skor RSES, observasi, dan wawancara). Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) untuk mengukur self-esteem dan Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) untuk mengetahui karakteristik kekerasan yang dialami penyitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor pada RSES. Selain itu, evaluasi kualitatif juga menunjukkan peningkatan positif aspek kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku subjek penelitian. Oleh karena itu, CBT dapat dikatakan efektif meningkatkan self-esteempada penyitas kekerasan dalam pacaran.

Abstract

Parents require parenting self-efficacy to optimally perform parental tasks and responsibilities. Family structure is a powerful predictor of self-efficacy in parenting. This study aims to compare parenting self-efficacy for mothers from nuclear families compared to those from extended families. The sample size was 149 early adult mothers obtained through accidental sampling, of which 88 participants were from nuclear families. Participants completed The Parenting Self-Efficacy Scale. The findings indicate that mothers from nuclear families had significantly stronger parenting self-efficacy than those from extended families. The result highlights that mothers in nuclear families can provide a more comfortable learning environment and therefore enforce consistent parenting standards than mothers in extended families.

Abstract

Perempuan memiliki peran sentral dalam menjaga ketahanan keluarga, termasuk aspek kesehatan mental yang kerap terabaikan di wilayah pedesaan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kegiatan pengabdian mengenai transformasi peran perempuan dalam upaya preventif kesehatan mental keluarga di desa Sambirejo. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah melalui psikoedukasi. Teknik evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian yaitu menggunakan wawancara, observasi partisipatif, serta pre-test dan post-test. Partisipan kegiatan pengabdian ini berjumlah 35 orang yang terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga, tokoh masyarakat, kader kesehatan desa, dan guru di desa Sambirejo, Kecamatan Bringin, Kabupaten Semarang. Kegiatan pengabdian mencakup edukasi kesehatan mental dan urgensinya untuk keluarga, strategi pengasuhan yang mendukung perkembangan anak, serta identifikasi tanda gangguan mental dan cara mengakses layanan kesehatan mental. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil mengedukasi perempuan di desa Sambirejo dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dasar mengenai kesehatan mental. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa perempuan di desa Sambirejo berfungsi sebagai katalisator dalam upaya pencegahan gangguan kesehatan mental keluarga melalui transformasi peran yang lebih adaptif dan partisipatif. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya dukungan kebijakan dan program pemberdayaan untuk memperkuat kapasitas perempuan sebagai pelopor kesehatan mental keluarga di pedesaan.

Abstract

The implementation of inclusive school policies is increasingly being carried out by various schools, especially public schools which are designated as pilot inclusive schools by the government. However, not all schools are ready to face various needs in implementing inclusive schools. One of them is SD N Sekaran 02 which still needs assistants and training for various teacher competencies in teaching inclusive schools. The activities to be carried out are training in the initial identification of children with special needs and training in the preparation of individual learning designs for children with special needs. The subjects in this study were 9 elementary school teachers. The research design uses one group design with pretest and post-test. The instruments used in this study were the teacher efficacy scale and the RPI knowledge test. Data analysis used Wilcoxon signed rank test analysis with statistical software JASP version 14.0. The results of the analysis showed that the inclusion policy implementation assistance program was effective in increasing teacher knowledge (p<0.05) and teacher efficacy (p<0.05).

Abstract

Marriage is a physical and mental relationship between a man and a woman as husband and wife in an effort to form a new harmonious life. Marriage will be successful when there is marital satisfaction. Marital satisfaction is influenced by anxiety factors in sexual intercourse, known as sexual anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between sexual anxiety and marital satisfaction in young adult men. The research method used is correlational quantitative research. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling consisting of 604 male participants in Indonesia aged 21 to 40 years and married. Measurements in this study used the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) to measure marital satisfaction consisting of 6 items with Cronbach's Alpha 0.789 and the Multidimensional Sexual Self-Concept Questionnaire (MSSCQ) to measure sexual anxiety consisting of 5 items with Cronbach's Alpha 0.958. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results of the analysis showed a significant negative correlation (r = -0.160; p < 0.05) between sexual anxiety and marital satisfaction. The results also showed that the majority of participants' sexual anxiety was in the low category at 86.4% and the majority of participants' marital satisfaction was in the high category at 84.1%.Pernikahan adalah hubungan lahir batin antara laki-laki dan perempuan sebagai suami istri dalam upaya membentuk suatu kehidupan baru yang harmonis. Pernikahan akan berhasil ketika adanya kepuasan pernikahan. Marital satisfaction salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh faktor kecemasan dalam berhubungan seksual yang dikenal dengan sexual anxiety. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara sexual anxiety dengan marital satisfaction pada laki-laki dewasa muda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 604 partisipan laki-laki di Indonesia berusia 21 sampai 40 tahun dan sudah menikah. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) untuk mengukur marital satisfaction yang terdiri dari 6 item dengan Cronbach’s Alpha 0.789 dan Multidimensional Sexual Self-Concept Questionnaire (MSSCQ) untuk mengukur sexual anxiety terdiri dari 5 item dengan Cronbach’s Alpha 0.958. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan (r = -0.160; p < 0.05) antara sexual anxiety dengan marital satisfaction. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa sexual anxiety mayoritas partisipan berada di kategori rendah sebesar 86.4% dan marital satisfaction mayoritas partisipan berada di kategori tinggi sebesar 84.1%.

Abstract

Sexual violence against children in Central Java shows the highest percentage among other types of violence at 46.6%, while sexual violence against women is at 14.7%. This high incidence of violence is an important concern, especially in Semarang Regency, which is ranked third in Central Java. Sexual violence is vulnerable in public places, such as tourist attractions. Although cases of sexual violence that occur in Lerep Tourism Village have not yet surfaced, preventive efforts to prevent sexual violence against women and children need to be intensified. The solution offered through this community service proposal is the implementation of psychoeducation for youth organizations in Lerep Village related to sexual violence. This program is in line with the 8th mission of Lerep Village in efforts to provide services, protection, and social empowerment for vulnerable groups, the poor, the elderly, orphans / orphans, people with disabilities and pregnant women. Therefore, psychoeducation on sexual violence and types of sexual violence, knowledge about healthy relationships and handling sexual violence both legally and psychologically was prepared. This psychoeducation also aims to equip teenagers in Lerep Village who are engaged as agents of change in an effort to prevent sexual violence and handle it if it occurs in the Lerep tourist village.

Abstract

Efforts to maintain sexual control over a partner occur in various cases of dating violence. This research examines perceived sexual control from the perspectives of internal sexual control, power-other sexual control, and chance-or-luck sexual control. Descriptive quantitative methods were used in this research. A total of 310 respondents filled out the questionnaire online. The questionnaires used are the Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) and MSSCQ, adapted from Snell et al. (1993), which are used to measure internal sexual control, power-other sexual control, and chance-or-luck sexual control. Respondents to this study were 310 people (women = 67%, men = 37%), aged 20–30, who had been or were currently in a relationship for at least one year. The selection of respondents used the purposive sampling method. Data analysis uses descriptive techniques. The research results show that perceived sexual control is generally in the high category. Then internal sexual control, power-other sexual control, and chance-or-luck sexual control are also in the high category.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of mental health psychoeducation for female prisoners in Class IIA Semarang Women’s Correctional Institution, focusing on the promotion of justice and improved treatment. Mental health challenges are prevalent among incarcerated individuals, stemming from factors like monotony, anxiety, stress, and depression associated with confinement. Through a series of psychoeducational sessions covering self-awareness, interpersonal communication, psychological first aid, emotion regulation, stress management, and positive self-talk, the research investigates the effectiveness of these interventions in enhancing mental health and well-being among female inmates. Post-test results reveal promising outcomes, with 57.69% of participants exhibiting a very healthy mental health status, 38.46% classified as mentally healthy, and 3.85% falling into the moderate mental health category. These findings underscore the significance of psychoeducational interventions in promoting justice and better treatment within the prison system.
