Abstract

Situ Tlajung Hilir is a natural lake in West Java, utilized by the local community to support livelihoods and contributing to the balance of the surrounding ecosystem. However, pollution from industrial and residential activities has raised concerns over its declining water quality. This study aims to assess the water quality of Situ Tlajung Hilir using the Pollution Index (PI) and Saprobic Quotient (SQ) methods. A descriptive quantitative approach with purposive sampling was conducted at four observation stations. Research activities included field observation, sample collection, measurement of physical, chemical, and biological parameters, and laboratory analysis. Instruments were calibrated prior to use. PI values ranged from 1.02 to 1.04, indicating a slightly polluted status based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 115 of 2003. SQ values ranged from -0.10 to -0.79, reflecting moderate to fairly heavy pollution. The PI analysis showed that dissolved oxygen (DO) and temperature did not meet Class III water quality standards. SQ analysis revealed a dominance of Euglenophyceae and Paramecium (Ciliates), both indicators of organic pollution. In conclusion, the water quality of Situ Tlajung Hilir is categorized as slightly to fairly heavily polluted. Emphasizing the need for ongoing monitoring and improved waste management to protect the aquatic ecosystem.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Augmented Reality (AR)-based Quantum Teaching model on high school students’ critical thinking and metacognitive skills in biology. As 21st-century education increasingly demands higher-order thinking, there is a growing need for innovative teaching approaches that foster these skills. The aim of this research was to determine whether combining AR technology with the Quantum Teaching model could enhance students’ cognitive and self-regulatory abilities. The study used a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test control group design, involving grade XI biology students at Pakusari State High School during the 2023/2024 academic year. Class XI-5 was randomly assigned as the experimental group and XI-4 as the control group. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, essay tests, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using ANCOVA in SPSS version 26. The results showed that the experimental group experienced significantly greater improvements in both critical thinking and metacognitive skills compared to the control group. These findings suggest that the AR-based Quantum Teaching model effectively supports the development of essential academic competencies. The study concludes that integrating AR into student-centered teaching models not only enhances engagement but also promotes deeper learning. As a result, educators are encouraged to adopt AR-supported pedagogies, and schools should invest in digital infrastructure and teacher training to ensure successful implementation. The implications also extend to curriculum development, highlighting the potential of combining interactive technology with innovative instructional strategies to better prepare students for academic success and future challenges.

Abstract

One of the problems in rivers is water pollution due to the discharge of waste directly into the river, which can reduce the quality of river water. The large number of natural stone processing activities in Dukupuntang District has the potential to become a source of river water pollution. The aim of this research is to analyze river water pollution due to the disposal of natural stone industrial waste in terms of physical, chemical and biological parameters, as well as determine the impact of river water pollution due to the disposal of natural stone industrial waste on the water quality of the Cigayam River. This research was carried out in Cangkoak Village, Dukupuntang District, Cirebon Regency. This research analyzes physical parameters (temperature, water brightness, water color, water smell, current speed), chemical parameters (pH, DO, BOD, COD) which are compared with class IV water quality standards based on Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 about Implementation of Protection and Enviromental Management, biological parameters (macroinvertebrates) identified using the electronic book Introduction to Southeast Asian Pond and River Invertebrates. The research results showed a decrease in river water quality with several test parameters that exceeded quality standards, namely pH, DO, BOD, COD. The water quality index value at stations 1 and 2 shows moderately polluted water quality, while station 3 shows dirty polluted water quality. This explains that the disposal of natural stone waste directly into rivers causes a decrease in water quality, one of which is due to the content of chemicals, such as metal elements or salts which can affect water quality. Thus, the pollution level of the Cigayam River is included in the moderate pollution level.

Abstract

Keterampilan beragumentasi merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Keterampilan argumentasi membuat siswa dapat berpikir secara kritis dan tepat untuk mendukung klaim yang siswa berikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis argument mapping submateri penanganan limbah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa. Metode RD digunakan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD dengan desain ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation Evaluation). E-LKPD berbasis argument mapping diimplementasikan di sekolah SMAN 04 Bogor pada siswa kelas X MIPA 6. Hasil validasi ahli tentang media dan materi E-LKPD berbasis argument mapping menunjukan hasil sangat layak digunakan, begitupun pada validasi ahli intrumen soal untuk mengasah kemampuan argumentasi siswa menunjukan hasil sangat layak. Efektivitas E-LKPD berbasis argument mapping dilihat dari kenaikan level argumentasi siswa yang dianalisis dengan kriteria level argumentasi Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP) bahwa pada post test terdapat peningkatan persentase argumentasi siswa pada level 4 dan 5 sedangkan terdapat penurunan persentase level argumentasi siswa pada level 2 dan 3 hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis argument mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa dapat dilihat dengan kenaikan N-Gain dengan nilai 0,61 yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif karena (g) 0,30.

Abstract

This study is based on students’ inability to solve problems in psychotropic material, which is caused by students' low reasoning power and tendency to memorize the material. To address these issues, consider using PBL-based e-pocket book media used for this study. The purpose of this study is to develop e-pocket book media based on PBL that are feasible, practical, and effective in improving students' problem-solving skills and motivating them to learn. The research was conducted in November 2022 - May 2023. The RnD research method was used in conjunction with the ADDIE development design. Interview guidelines, learning observations, expert assessment sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and student motivation questionnaires in learning were used to assess learning. The qualitative data analysis was obtained from media and material expert advice, teacher and student response questionnaires, student motivation questionnaires, learning observations, and interviews. The validation result of media experts yielded a quantitative 96% very feasible category while material expert validation yielded a 92% very feasible category. The results of the teacher's response questionnaire were 91%, while the student response was 89% in the very practical category. A questionnaire on student motivation in learning after using e-pocket book media was also obtained by 86%. Furthermore, the results of the independent sample t-test, show the result where Tcount>Ttable. It can be concluded that PBL-based e-pocket book media is very feasible and practical to use in learning and can improve students' problem-solving abilities on psychotropic material and motivate students in learning.

Abstract

Creative Creative thinking is an important nature in the learning process, the weak ability of students' creative thinking is caused by a static learning process. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause high and low students' creative thinking abilities in terms of their level of understanding and identify other factors that influence creative thinking abilities. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Ciomas, Bogor Regency. The research was conducted in November 2022 – May 2023. The method used in this study was a mixed method with a sequential explanatory research design. The research sample was 123 students, the sampling technique used proportional random sampling technique. Quantitative data analysis techniques use descriptive and inferential analysis or hypothesis testing, namely correlation and regression, and qualitative data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The instrument used for Y and X variables is a multiple choice test instrument and for qualitative use interview guidelines, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that there was a fairly high positive correlation, with an r² value of 24.1%, students' creative thinking ability was influenced by understanding and the remaining 75.9% was influenced by internal factors including interests, hobbies and external factors including teacher guidance, environment, and some school activities. such as organization, performing arts, social media. The solution to overcome these problems is to develop learning designs for environmental materials that can increase understanding so that students are better trained to have the ability to think creatively in solving environmental problems. The existence of collaboration between schools in developing learning designs can increase understanding so that students have the ability to think creatively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji efektivitas, mengidentifikasi respon siswa, serta mengidentifikasi keunggulan dan keterbatasan penggunaan E-Modul biologi terintegrasi nilai keislaman pada materi sistem reproduksi dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu RnD dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Swasta Keislaman di Kota Bogor yang ditujukan untuk kelas XI MIPA yang mempelajari materi sistem reproduksi. Sebelum dilakukan ujicoba, produk divalidasi oleh tiga validator ahli yaitu ahli media, materi, dan agama. Penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media memiliki nilai persentase 93% dengan kriteria sangat layak, penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi memiliki nilai persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan kelayakan oleh ahli Agama memiliki nilai persentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Setelah diujicobakan, dilakukan uji kepraktisan menggunakan angket respon siswa memiliki nilai persentase 90% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Pengujian efektivitas menggunakan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa memiliki nilai N-gain 0.6 dengan kriteria sedang, artinya penggunaan e-modul sistem reproduksi terintegrasi nilai keislaman cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan e-modul sistem reproduksi terintegrasi nilai keislaman layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi masyarakat Indonesia khususnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi masih tergolong rendah. Pemicu rendahnya literasi numerasi di Indonesia masih rendah dikarenakan kurang menariknya guru dalam menerapkan model dan media pembelajaran yang dipakai. Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi bekerjasama dengan Program Studi PPG dan MGMP Biologi SMA Kabupaten Bogor mengadakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dalam bentuk Bimtek Literasi dan Numerasi dalam Pembelajaran Biologi bagi Guru-guru Biologi SMA. Tujuan dari kegitan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensi Guru-Guru Biologi SMA Se-Kabupaten Bogor khususnya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada peningkatan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini yaitu Guruguru Biologi Tingkat SMA Se-Kabupaten Bogor. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara blended sebanyak dua pertemuan, pertemuan pertama dilaksanakan secara luring dan pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan secara daring. Materi kegiatan meliputi : Konsep Literasi dan Numerasi, Implementasi Literasi dan Numerasi dalam Pembelajaran Biologi, Pengembangan Modul Ajar Biologi berbasis literasi dan numerasi, Presentasi Produk dan penguatan. Total kegiatan dilaksanakan sebanyak 32 JP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Multiple Intelligences dengan keterampilan proses sains, serta untuk mengetahui kekuatan hubungan, bentuk hubungan dan hubungan fungsionalnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2019 hingga Agustus 2020. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Cibinong tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 154 responden. Hasil analisis terdapat hubungan positif antara Multiple Intelligences dengan keterampilan proses sains, dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 27,228 + 0,128x. Koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,409 sedangkan koefisien determinasi (r2) dihitung sebesar 16,7%.. keterampilan proses sains dapat dilihat dari Multiple Intelligences sedangkan 83,3% terbentuk dari faktor-faktor lain yang turut membentuk keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

Agro Eduwisata Organik (AEWO) Mulyaharja di Kota Bogor merupakan destinasi wisata edukatif berbasis pertanian organik dengan potensi besar dalam pertanian berkelanjutan, konservasi lingkungan, dan wisata berbasis masyarakat. Namun, pengelolaan wisata edukatif masih menghadapi tantangan. Melalui Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM), dilakukan pemberdayaan Pokdarwis melalui penguatan kompetensi komunikasi, penyusunan modul edukasi, pengembangan sarana edukasi, dan strategi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan selama tiga bulan ini melibatkan 18 anggota Pokdarwis melalui sosialisasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan penyusunan modul edukasi dengan nilai N-Gain 55,11 (kategori sedang) serta peningkatan signifikan pada strategi promosi digital dengan N-Gain 72,25 (kategori tinggi). Produk yang dihasilkan meliputi modul edukasi, buklet paket wisata, video promosi pertanian organik, dan pembangunan Eco Agro Station sebagai sarana edukasi. Program ini memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan, meningkatkan kemandirian Pokdarwis, memperluas jangkauan promosi digital, serta mendukung ekonomi kerakyatan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui pengembangan agroeduwisata organik berbasis masyarakat.
