Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of diversity of Troglobionts animals, species composition, species dominance, and uniformity in the Cave of Tajur Bogor, West Java. The variables in this study consisted of survey methods by calculating diversity, dominance, uniformity, and species composition to find out what types of animals are in the ecosystem of the cave. Based on the results of research on animal species found there were 10 species of biota belonging to 3 transects with a total of 88 species of cavernous biota. The sample in this study used the 10x10 M line transect method three times in different places. Determination of line transect measurements in this study is based on differences in the environmental zone at the outermost point or cave line which is the starting point of line transect measurement. The results of statistical calculations are obtained as follows: diversity biota index (H ') in the range of 0.4168-0.9684, the index of species composition (P) ranges between 0.2386-0.3861, the uniformity index (E) range between 0,4304-1, and the dominance of type (C) ranges between 5,2118-5,2118. Based on the calculation of diversity, composition, uniformity, and dominance of the type of biota in the area of Tajur Bogor, West Java, at the low-moderate level. Overall the types of biota found in this study were 3 transects, generally producing different amounts during the study, the total biota species found in the cave consisted of 88 individuals from 14 families and 14 species while the highest composition of biota types in transect III where of the 34 species found throughout the transect, 33 were in the second transect and the lowest was in transect I with only 21 species.

Abstract

Corona Virus Diseases (Covid-19) has become an epidemic in Indonesia and even has become a global pandemic in 2020. Various impacts of Covid-19 is one of them changes learning strategy. One of them is the change from conventional learning to internet-based learning or electronic learning (e-learning). The purpose of this study was to describe the e-learning in natural science and environmental learning during the Covid-19 outbreak. The research method used descriptive method and data collection techniques using a survey through Google Form. The study was conducted during March 2020 in Bekasi city and Bandung city, when the Covid-19 outbreak began in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that there are many limitations. Findings showed that Whatsapp was the highest e-learning media (65.54%). Related to the biggest obstacle is about internet quota in a cellular phone (27.03%). Then students think the video (35.14%) was the best type of file to be shared in e-learning. Then the majority of students (54.73%) thought that the most effective duration for e-learning was 2-3 hours. The results of this study indicate that e-learning was not yet perfect and needs to be improved. The conclusion of this study was e-learning needs to be improved and need innovation.

Abstract

Pandemic Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is a non-natural disaster that occurs globally. Disaster mitigation efforts need to be made when entering a new normal life after the physical distancing policy is relaxed. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and participation of students in disaster mitigation activities during the new normal period. The research method used descriptive, data collection techniques through Google Form with a sample of 54 students. The results showed that learning of disaster mitigation education is not maximally taught at the university level with a percentage of 57.4% for students, who did not receive disaster mitigation education. However, as many as 51.9% of students had attended training in disaster education. Disaster mitigation education was important to do when a new normal period. That is because students are one component that has a role to convey various information about the disaster, especially COVID-19. This study concludes that knowledge and student participation in disaster education still needs to be improved. The suggestion from this research was necessary to develop innovative learning tools for disaster mitigation education in the new normal era of COVID-19.

Abstract

Migratory birds are birds that fly or move from their breeding place to their non-breeding location. Migratory birds usually migrate to the southern part of the earth or tropical regions to avoid limited resources during winter in their breeding areas (Bildstein, 2006). Bird of Prey or Raptors are a group of birds that frequently migrate. Raptors carry out-migration in several areas which are commonly referred to as flyways. Indonesia is also part of the flight path for migratory birds (Sukmantoro et al., 2007). At this time there were approximately 17 types of migrant raptors in Indonesia. Research on raptor migration has been carried out for a long time in various regions. In the Yogyakarta area, there have been observations of a migrant raptor, but there are no official publications and research on migrant raptor in the Bukit 76 Kaliurang area, Yogyakarta. Therefore this research was conducted to know about migratory raptor in Yogyakarta. This research was conducted at Bukit 76 Kaliurang, Hargobinangun, Pakem, Yogyakarta. The research was conducted in December 2019-March 2020, July-August 2020, and October-November 2020. This research was conductes through observations in the morning at 07.00-11.00 WIB using birdwatching techniques and purposive methods. The results of this study recorded 1 species of migrant raptor, namely the Oriental Honey-buzzard (Pernis ptilorhynchus) and 2 species of resident raptors, namely the Crested Serpent Eagle (Spilornis cheela) and the Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the number of types of epiphytic moss in the Kendeng Mountains in the Halimun Salak Mountain National Park, West Java and to determine the function of epiphytic moss as an environmental bio-indicator. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by means of primary data collection through observation and interviews, while secondary through documentation. The results of research conducted in the area of Mount Halimun Salak National Park, there are 16 species. The types found at the two stations are classified into 14 tribes. The epiphytic moss substrate in the Halimun Salak Mountain National Park is on weathered logs and tree bark. The type of epiphytic moss (Bryophytes) in the Halimun Salak Mountain National Park which has the highest importance is Fissindens viridulus with a value of 48.9. The type of moss with the lowest importance is Scapania sp. with a value of 1.72. The diversity of moss in the Mount Halimun Salak National Park area is 2,149. The diversity index value in the Mount Halimun Salak National Park area is included in the moderate category, because it has a value of 1≤ Ĥ ≤ 3.The diversity of moss species (Bryophytes) on various substrates found in the Mount Halimun Salak National Park area is moderate, both on terrestrial substrates. (diversity index value 1.276) and arboreal (diversity index value 1.851). This shows that the diversity of arboreal substrates is higher than terrestrial. The physical form of moss is used as an environmental indicator and also for gardening and greenhouses. Another thing that has been done with this moss is to use it as a medicinal ingredient.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Multiple Intelligences dengan keterampilan proses sains, serta untuk mengetahui kekuatan hubungan, bentuk hubungan dan hubungan fungsionalnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2019 hingga Agustus 2020. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Cibinong tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 154 responden. Hasil analisis terdapat hubungan positif antara Multiple Intelligences dengan keterampilan proses sains, dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 27,228 + 0,128x. Koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,409 sedangkan koefisien determinasi (r2) dihitung sebesar 16,7%.. keterampilan proses sains dapat dilihat dari Multiple Intelligences sedangkan 83,3% terbentuk dari faktor-faktor lain yang turut membentuk keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa (Studi pada SMP Se-Kecamatan Periuk Kota Tangerang Banten). Populasi terjangkau pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP di Kecamatan Periuk Kota Tangerang. Sampel penelitian diperoleh melalui metode simple random sampling yaitu peneliti mencampurkan subjek-subjek didalam populasi sehingga semua subjek dianggap sama. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan melalui teknik korelasi dengan tiga variabel yang terdiri dari dua variabel bebas, yaitu persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar dan motivasi belajar serta satu variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar IPA. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes untuk variabel bebas dan dokumen akhir untuk variabel terikat. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi sederhana serta korelasi dan regresi ganda. Sebelum data dianalisis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan analisis statistic deskriptif dan uji persyaratan data (uji normalitas, uji linieritas dan uji multikolinieritas dan uji hipotesis). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : terdapat pengaruh yang positif tetapi tidak signifikan antara persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,929 dan koefisien determinasi 0,864 atau 86,4 % persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA. Persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan Y= 24,094 + 0,357X1 + 0,356X2 hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar maka semakin tinggi pula hasil belajarnya dan semakin tinggi motivasi belajar maka akan semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar IPA-nya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis burung di Pulau Rambut Kepulauan Seribu menggunakan metode encounter rates (tingkat pertemuan) yaitu pengamatan langsung dengan cara menjelajah dan menghitung setiap individu yang ditemui, (2) Menjelaskan bentuk kearifan tradisional masyarakat Pulau Untung Jawa Kepulauan Seribu, dan (3) Menjelaskan ancaman terhadap kearifan serta menganalisis cara menangkal ancaman dalam upaya melestarikan burung. Pencarian data menggunakan observasi langsung berupa eksplorasi dan wawancara pada narasumber yang dapat dipercaya. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan teropong binokuler merk carton dengan ukuran 8 x 30 tipe 430 FT/1000 YDS made in Japan. Setiap burung yang dijumpai diperhatikan ukuran, warna, dan suaranya sera ciri-ciri khasnya, kemudian diidentifikasi. Masyarakat Pulau Untung Jawa menganggap burung yang ada di Pulau Rambut merupakan anugerah dan berkah yang harus dilestarikan. Keanekaragaman jenis burung di Pulau Rambut Kepulauan Seribu cukup tinggi yaitu ditunjukkan dengan 24 jenis burung. Adanya aktivitas masyarakat Pulau Untung Jawa diduga memberikan pengaruh terhadap keanekaragaman jenis burung yang terdapat di Pulau rambut Kepulauan Seribu. Kata Kunci: Identifikasi Keanekaragaman, Jenis Burung, Kearifan Tradisional, Pulau Rambut, Kepulauan Seribu.
