Abstract

Background: In hospitals, competent human resources are needed in their fields. one of which is a nurse who has the responsibility and authority in providing nursing services to patients for 24 hours. Objective: The study aimed to examine the effect of work motivation, and compensation on turnover intention of inpatient nurses at Hospital X with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. Method: This study applied the quantitative with survey approach. Result: The results showed that the work motivation variable had a negative effect on turnover intention, this was indicated by the estimate value = -0.348 P-Values = 0.001 < = 0.05. Compensation has a negative effect on turnover intention, this is indicated by the value estimate = -0.288 P-Values = 0.004 < = 0.05. Organizational commitment has a negative effect on turnover intention, this is indicated by the value estimate = -0.350 P-Values = 0.014 < = 0.05. Work motivation has a positive effect on organizational commitment, this is indicated by the value estimate = 0.435 P-Values = 0.000 < = 0.05. Compensation has a positive effect on organizational commitment, it is indicated by the value estimate = 0.304 P-Values = 0.000 < = 0.05. Conclusion: Work Motivation and Compensation Variables have an effect on Turnover Intention mediated by Organizational Commitment

Abstract

Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) leads to a reduced immune response and increased susceptibility to infections, necessitating the use of antibiotics. However, inappropriate and excessive use of antimicrobials in humans, animals, and plants can contribute to increased antimicrobial resistance. Objective: This research aims to provide an overview of the application of Antibiotic Management (PGA) in the use of reserve antibiotics for T2DM patients concerning pharmacoeconomics at X Hospital in East Java. Method: Method: The study employed an observational approach with an exploratory descriptive method. Data were collected retrospectively from a cohort of patients who received reserve class antibiotics. The effectiveness of these antibiotics was assessed based on clinical outcomes, including patient survival or death, using medical records from October 2021 to September 2022 and October 2022 to September 2023. Result: The result indicated that the application of PGA using reserve antibiotics in T2DM patients had a positive and significant impact on pharmacoeconomics. The Incremental Cost Effectiveness Ratio (ICER) for T2DM patients with infections who received reserve antibiotics decreased after PGA implementation. Conclusion: The study concludes that PGA application in T2DM patients with infections yielded positive results, including a reduction in ICER, indicating improved cost-effectiveness and clinical outcomes. Recommendation: Proper and controlled use of reserve antibiotics through PGA can help mitigate antimicrobial resistance, a critical global health issue

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas III SD belum menarik sehingga menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model Quantum Teaching pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas III SDN Kedaung Kali Angke 010 Pagi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian data kuantitatif menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa dari 30 siswa pada Siklus I yang tuntas sebanyak 22 siswa (73,3%) mendapat nilai diatas KKM ? 65 dan pada Siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 25 siswa yang tuntas atau (83,3%) yang mendapat nilai diatas KKM ? 65. Hasil penelitian data kualitatif menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase rerata data observasi aktivitas guru pada Siklus I sebesar 74% dan pada Siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 91% dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Lalu, hasil persentase rerata data observasi aktivitas siswa pada Siklus I sebesar 71,5% dan mengalami peningkatan pada Siklus II menjadi 87,5% dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa dengan menerapkan model Quantum Teaching pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas III SD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan lean six sigma terhadap manfaat nyata implementasi rekam medis elektronik dengan penggunaan EMR sebagai variabel intervening. Jenis penelitian termasuk dalam kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi yang digunakan adalah Dokter dan Dokter Spesialis sebagai pengguna EMR. Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling yang menjadikan seluruh Dokter dan Dokter Spesialis berjumlah 52 sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dan metode analisa menggunakan analisa three box method dengan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis membuktikan terdapat pengaruh kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan lean six sigma terhadap manfaat nyata dengan penggunaan EMR sebagai variabel intervening. Kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan lean six sigma berpengaruh positif terhadap penggunaan EMR dan manfaat nyata, serta penggunaan EMR berpengaruh positif terhadap manfaat nyata, dan mampu mengintervensi pengaruh kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan lean six sigma terhadap manfaat nyata. Kualitas informasi merupakan variabel yang paling kuat mampu meningkatkan penggunaan EMR dan manfaat nyata, sedangkan kualitas sistem merupakan variabel terendah dalam meningkatkan penggunaan EMR dan manfaat nyata. Kata kunci : kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem, lean six sigma, manfaat nyata.

Abstract

Patient safety has become a global issue that was being hotly discussed throughout the country. The likelihood of accidents in hospitals was much greater than the possibility of an airplane accident, thus proving that Patient safety is a major problem in hospitals all over the world and requires primary attention. To analyze the influence of nurses' attitudes and motivations on the implementation of patient safety programs. This study uses a quantitative approach, survey methods and correlation techniques, the data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression test, the population in this study are nurses who are directly involved in efforts to provide services to patients with a sample of 90 people. The results of this study are attitude variables which have a positive and significant effect on the application of patients safety program at Mekar Sari Hospital. Motivational variables have a negative and insignificant effect on the implementation of the patient safety program at Mekar Sari Hospital. Variables of nurses' attitudes and motivations simultaneously influence the application of patients safety program at Mekar Sari Hospital. suggestions for hospitals Need to be given awards for outstanding nurses and nurses who always implement a patient safety program. Abstract

Patient safety with clinical governance and efficiency were important in ensuring the quality of health services. Based on the incidence report, data on the incidence of falling patients, medication errors, and patient identification errors were obtained. Where all of these incidents occurred in the inpatient room. The purpose of this study will prove the influence of the mentoring function on the safety of inpatients in Medika Lestari hospital. This research is an explanatory causality research with a quantitative approach in the form of hypothesis testing, and taking research data at a certain time (cross sectional). Samples were obtained by sampling saturated with a population of 30 people. Data collection was done by survey. Data analysis was performed by multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicates the positive influence of career support, psychosocial support, and role modeling factors from the head of inpatient room together on patient safety, significantly positive influence of career support factors on patient safety, significantly positive influence of psychosocial support factors on patient safety, and the significant negative effect of role modeling on patient safety. The findings of this study indicates that the most influential variable on the safety of inpatients at Medika Lestari Hospital is the career support variable from the head of inpatient the room. Based on this research it is recommended that hospital is going to provide career support to employees to improve patient safety by providing incentives, promotions, and funding for seminars or training.Keywords: patient safety, head room mentoring, career support, psychosocial support, and role modeling

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Penelitian ini dilandaskan hasil observasi awal yang menginformasikan bahwa sebagian besar kinerja perawat berada dalam kategori C (good) dengan persentase sebesar 36%, Temuan aspek kinerja perawat, 60% merasa perawat tidak menyelesaikan pekerjaan sesuai target, dan 60% juga merasa perawat tidak dapat menyelesaikan pekerjaan tanpa kesalahan, serta 70% menyatakan bahwa perawat tidak dapat menyelesaikan pekerjaan tepat waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan quality of work life terhadap kinerja perawat di RS Unimedika Sepatan Tangerang melalui work engagement sebagai variabel intervening. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausalitas. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari seluruh perawat pada RS Unimedika Sepatan Tangerang sebanyak 175 orang. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 122 orang perawat sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif menggunakan Three Box Method dan analisis structural equation modelling (SEM) menggunakan PLS. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian kepemimpinan transformasional dan Quality of Work Life secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perawat di RS Unimedika Sepatan Tangerang melalui work engagement. Secara parsial, kepemimpinan transformasional dan Quality of Work Life berpenagruh terhadap work engagement dan kinerja perawat. Selain itu, work engagement juga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat. Kesimpulan: Implikasi manajerial adalah memperbaiki sistem manajemen leadership dengan meningkatkan pelatihan etika profesi pengembangan karir.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran kepemimpinan, khususnya kepala ruangan atau pimpinan klinik yang berperan penting dalam implementasi sistem manajemen mutu dan budaya keselamatan pasien. Gaya kepemimpinan visioner dipandang sebagai pendekatan strategis untuk meningkatkan mutu dan keselamatan pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan visioner dengan manajemen mutu dan keselamatan pasien di Klinik Denkesyah 01.04.03 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif cross-sectional dengan analisis korelasi. Sampel diambil secara total sampling, melibatkan 23 responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan sangat kuat antara kepemimpinan visioner dan keselamatan pasien (r = 0,933; p = 0,000).  Terdapat hubungan antara kepemimpinan visioner dan mutu pelayanan (r = 0,662; p = 0,001). Terdapat hubungan antara keselamatan pasien dan mutu pelayanan (r = 0,626; p = 0,002). Nilai R² 0,465–0,886, yang berarti kepemimpinan visioner dapat menjelaskan variasi manajemen mutu dan keselamatan pasien hingga 88,6%. Temuan ini menunjukan peran pemimpin visioner dalam membangun budaya mutu dan keselamatan. Disarankan adanya pelatihan kepemimpinan dan manajemen mutu bagi seluruh staf dan pimpinan pelayanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Background: Career development for healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, is a crucial aspect of Human Resource Management (HRM) in hospitals. At X Sukabumi Hospital, only 1.8% of the 159 nurses successfully advanced in their careers, despite the majority having more than 10 years of experience. Objective: This study examines the impact of training and work environment on nurses' career development, with clinical competence as a mediating variable. Method: A quantitative associative design with a cross-sectional approach was employed, using a questionnaire for data collection. The sample consisted of 159 nurses, and data were analyzed using the Three-Box Method and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with PLS v.03, incorporating T-tests and F-tests. Result: findings reveal that training, work environment, and clinical competence significantly influence nurses' career development (F-statistic = 86.55 > F-table = 2.81). However, training alone does not directly impact career development (p-value = 0.309), while the work environment has a significant effect (p-value = 0.000). Both training and work environment significantly influence clinical competence (p-value = 0.000), which in turn positively affects career development (p-value = 0.009). Furthermore, clinical competence plays a key mediating role (p-value= 0.018). Conclusion: In conclusion, training and work environment influence nurses' career development through clinical competence at X Sukabumi Hospital
