Abstract

The background of the research is the importance of increasing competence for the younger generation as the nation's successor. This competence is related to the ability to face challenges, carry out commitments, and proper control in the midst of globalization which has positive and negative impacts. This capacity development can be developed through guidance interventions based on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). The purpose of this study was to analyzed the description of academic hardiness possessed by high school students in Aceh, and measured the effectiveness of guidance based on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in developing academic hardiness of high school students in Aceh. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method (non-equivalent control group design). Data were collected using the modified Academic Hardiness Scale (AHS) from Benishek & Lopez based on three aspects of academic hardiness, specifically commitment, challenge, and control. The population of this research is 154 the MAS Imam Syafii students. The research sample consisted of 60 students who were divided into experimental and control groups. Based on the results of the paired samplet-test, there is a significant difference between the pre and post test results of students after being given SFBT-based guidance, but the results of the N-Gain analysis show that SFBT has a low effect in increasing the academic hardiness of MAS Imam Syafii students. To get a significant increase in academic hardiness, SFBT can also be given individually/group.

Abstract

Mother's stress in accompanying children to study is a condition of pressure/tension experienced by mothers in carrying out their responsibilities as working mothers and mothers who do not work in accompanying children to study. This study aims to describe the stress profile of working and non-working mothers in accompanying children to study at SDN 22 Banda Aceh. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. There were 12 research subjects consisting of 6 working mothers and 6 non-working mothers. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the physical stress experienced by working mothers had more complaints than mothers who did not work in accompanying children to study, namely experiencing dizziness or headaches, fatigue in accompanying children to study, and disrupted mother's sleeping hours. Cognitive stress of non-working mothers has more complaints than working mothers in assisting children, such as disturbed concentration, difficulty balancing concentration, difficulty managing time, and lack of understanding of children's learning material. Emotional stress experienced by working mothers and non-working mothers shows the same results, namely feeling pressured when accompanying children, anger when children are difficult to teach, feelings of guilt, and despair. Meanwhile, the stress of social behavior of non-working mothers shows more complaints than working mothers, including acts of despair committed, lack of husband or family support, acts of violence when children are difficult to teach, and punishing children. The conclusion of this study is that non-working mothers experience more stress complaints than working mothers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang menghambat penyelesaian studi mahasiswa jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling di salah satu Universitas pada provinsi Aceh. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dengan kriteria dari jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling, dan telah melewati masa studi normal yaitu 4 tahun. Jumlah subjek adalah 19 orang mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, bahwa mahasiswa jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang terlambat menyelesaikan studi dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar, kesehatan, manajemen waktu, dan kemampuan. Selanjutnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal yaitu dukungan keluarga, pemgaruh teman sebaya, bimbingan, administrasi skripsi, dan referensi mengerjakan skripsi. Adapun faktor yang mendominasi adalah faktor internal yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri adalah suatu perasaan yakin terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri untuk dapat meraih kesuksesan. Kepercayaan diri merupakan salah satu aspek kepribadian yang penting dan merupakan atribut yang sangat berharga bagi seseorang dalam kehidupannya, tanpa adanya kepercayaan diri akan menimbulkan banyak masalah seperti terhambatnya proses belajar dan menurunya hasil prestasi belajar sehingga kepercayaan diri merupakan sesuatu hal yang harus dimiliki setiap individu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat uji validitas kelayakan media dan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepercayaan diri peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan media permainan monopoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan skala kepercayaan diri dan lembar validasi ahli materi dan media untuk mengetahui validitas kelayakan media. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif persentase dan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh berdasarkan pelaksanaan media permainan monopoli dalam terapi bermain untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri yaitu telah valid dan dapat diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa di SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh. Sedangkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh berdasarkan pelaksanaan uji coba media yaitu terdapat 87,51% peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang dan terdapat 12,5% peserta didik berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal itu menyatakan adanya perubahan kepercayaan diri peserta didik sebelum diberikan media dan sesudah di berikan media yaitu terbukti dengan berkurangnya siswa dalam kategori rendah. AbstractThe background of the research is the importance of self-confidence. Self-confidence is a feeling of confidence in one's own ability to achieve success. Self-confidence is one of the important aspects of personality and is a very valuable attribute for a person in his life, without self-confidence it will cause many problems such as hindering the learning process and decreasing learning achievement results so that self-confidence is something that every individual must have. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of validity test of media feasibility and to determine the description of students' self-confidence before and after being given monopoly game media. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and data collection techniques were carried out by distributing self-confidence scales and material and media expert validation sheets to determine the validity of media feasibility. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage data analysis technique and Wilcoxon test. The results of the analysis obtained based on the implementation of monopoly game media in play therapy to increase self-confidence are valid and can be implemented to increase student self-confidence at SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh. While the results of the analysis obtained based on the implementation of media trials, namely there are 87.51% of students in the medium category and there are 12.5% of students in the high category. This states that there is a change in students' self-confidence before being given the media and after being given the media, which is evidenced by the reduction of students in the low category. Effective use of monopoly game media in play therapy to increase self-confidence in students. This research suggestion for guidance and counselling,teachers can be applied when providing guidance and counselling services and for further researchers to further explore the use of monopoly game media in guidance and counselling services.

Abstract

The phenomenon of demonstrations and conflicts between student groups that occur often ends in riots. In this situation, it is suspected that many individuals in their psychological state experience deindividuation. Deindividuation tendency is the loss of individual self-identity because it has merged into the group which results in a lack of self-awareness and self-control in individuals so that sometimes it can result in the individual behaving deviantly from social norms. This study aims to describe the description of deindividuation tendency in students at Syiah Kuala University and to describe how conflict management can be done in students. This study uses mixed method with explanatory sequential design. The population in this study were undergraduate students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year from 5 faculties at Universitas Syiah Kuala. The sample was taken with simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula as many as 390 students. Data collection on quantitative methods uses a deindividuation scale which is arranged based on 3 aspects, namely Group Immersion, Anonymity and Reduced Identifiabilty. Data collection in qualitative methods use interview guidelines were prepared based on the three dimensions of democratic conflict governance. The results showed that most of the deindividuation in Syiah Kuala University students were classified in the moderate category, namely 197 (51%) students. Deindividuation in this moderate category means that students tend to experience deindividuation in certain situations such as when facing conflicts between groups and carrying out demonstrations.

Abstract

Aggression motive is a driving force for the emergence of aggressive behavior by individuals. This study, entitled "The Effectiveness of Expressive Writing Counseling Techniques to Reduce Aggression Motives in MAN 4 Aceh Besar Students", aims to see the level of aggression motives of students in MAN 4 Aceh Besar before and after being given expressive writing counseling techniques, as well as to determine whether there is a decrease in the level of aggression motives that are used. significant. The approach used is a quantitative approach, in the form of pre-experiment, one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were all students in grade XI of MAN 4 Aceh Besar who have a high level of aggression motives. The samples obtained totaled 11 people who have high levels of aggression motives. Sampling was done by random sampling. Collecting data using a scale of 1-5. The research data were analyzed using statistical analysis paired sample t-test. The results of data analysis indicate that expressive writing counseling techniques have an effectiveness in reducing aggression motives for students of MAN 4 Aceh Besar. Before being given (pretest) the score of aggression motive was 179.64 and the score after being given (posttest) was 104.55. The level of students' motive for aggression has decreased significantly after being given expressive writing counseling techniques. The results of the calculation of the paired sample t-test statistical test found that the mean for pretest posttest was 179.64 104.55, while for the t-count value was 10.621 and t-table (0.05; 11) was 2,228 because tcount ttable meant that there was a significant decrease at the motive level. aggression of MAN 4 Aceh Besar students who have a high level of aggression motive after being given expressive writing counseling techniques. Keywords: aggressive motive, expressive writing; counseling technique  ABSTRAKMotif agresi merupakan suatu penggerak timbulnya perilaku-perilaku agresi yang dilakukan oleh individu. Penelitian ini berjudul “Efektivitas Teknik Konseling Menulis Ekspresif untuk Mereduksi Motif Agresi Siswa MAN 4 Aceh Besar”. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat ada tidaknya penurunan tingkat motif agresi yang signifikan setelah diberikan teknik konseling menulis ekspresif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dalam bentuk pre-ekspreriment, one grup pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 2 MAN 4 Aceh Besar yang memiliki tingkat motif agresi yang tinggi. Sampel yang diperoleh berjumlah 11 orang yang memiliki tingkat motif agresi yang tinggi. Penarikan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala 1-5. Analisis statistik menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa teknik konseling menulis ekspresif memiliki efektivitas untuk mereduksi motif agresi siswa MAN 4 Aceh Besar. Sebelum diberikan (pretest) skor motif agresi 179.64 dan skor setelah diberikan (posttest) adalah 104.55. Tingkat motif agresi siswa mengalami penurunan yang signifikan setelah diberikan teknik konseling menulis ekspresif. Hasil uji statistik  paired sample t-test didapati bahwa mean untuk pretest posttest adalah 179.64 104.55, sedangkan untuk nilai  sebesar 10.621 dan  (0.05;11) sebesar 2.228 oleh karena  artinya terdapat penurunan yang signifikan pada tingkat motif agresi siswa MAN 4 Aceh Besar yang mempunyai tingkat motif agresi yang tinggi setelah diberikan teknik konseling menulis ekspresif.

Abstract

Remaja merupakan generasi penerus bangsa yang perkembangannya tidak luput dari perhatian. Salah satu perkembangan yang menjadi sorotan di era revolusi industri 4.0 adalah kemampuan berhubungan sosial atau lebih dikenal dengan hubungan interpersonal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberi profil mengenai hubungan interpersonal siswa pada era revolusi industri 4.0 yang identik dengan persaingan kinerja, kemampuan bekerja dalam tim dan memiliki kemampuan bekerja sama dalam tim. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, Subjek yang menjadi fokus dalam studi ini adalah remaja kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh sebanyak  115 remaja. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala hubungan interpersonal. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif, yang memiliki terdiri dari: (1) pemeriksaan data; (2) klasifikasi data; (3) tabulasi data; (4) menghitung frekuensi data; (5) menentukan kategori. Studi ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk bimbingan dan konseling guru di sekolah dalam mengembangkan hubungan interpersonal remaja. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa taraf hubungan interpersonal secara umum berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Hal tersebut terlihat dari jumlah frekuensi jawaban remaja yang pada umumnya sebanyak 112 remaja atau sebesar 97% berada dalam dalam kategori  tinggi. Sebanyak 3 remaja atau 3% berada dalam katagori sedang dan tidak ada remaja dalam kategori rendah

Abstract

Teenagers are the next generation of the nation whose development does not go unnoticed. One of the developments in the spotlight in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is the ability to relate socially or better known as interpersonal relationships. This study aims to provide a profile of students' interpersonal relationships in the industrial revolution 4.0 era which is synonymous with performance competition, ability to work in teams and have the ability to work together in teams. This research uses quantitative descriptive research. The subjects that are the focus of this study are 115 teenagers in class X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Collecting data using interpersonal relationship scale. Analysis of research data using descriptive analysis, which consists of: (1) data examination; (2) data classification; (3) data tabulation; (4) calculate the frequency of data; (5) determine the category. This study can be used as a reference for teacher guidance and counseling in schools in developing adolescent interpersonal relationships. The results of the study indicate that the level of interpersonal relationships in general is in the high category. This can be seen from the number of teenagers' answers, which in general are 112 teenagers or 97% are in the high category. A total of 3 adolescents or 3% are in the moderate category and no adolescents are in the low category.

Abstract

Individu yang kesulitan beradaptasi dengan keadaan, mengalami kecemasan berlebihan, stress, tertekan dan sulit rileks di indikasi mengalami gejala Post Traumatic Disorder (PTSD). Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi diantaranya konflik GAM dan NKRI, Tsunami dan juga hal-hal kesehatan mental lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi Post Traumatic Disorder pada masyarakat kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Desain Survey. Pemilihan sampel adalah remaja SMP/Sederajat, SMA/Sederajat dan Perguruan Tinggi di kota Banda Aceh. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 292 dan teknik penggumpulan data menggunakan instrument. Teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kriteria diagnosis Post Traumatic Stress Disorder  masyarakat Aceh yang paling dominan yaitu Mengisolasi diri, hal ini dapat di tunjukkan dengan masyarakat Aceh menarik diri dan merasa tidak nyaman apabila dikunjungi oleh orang asing dan hal tersebut masih berlangsung sampai sekarang. Secara keseluruhan, diharapkan bahwa penelitian ini dapat menjadi sumbangan yang berarti dalam pengembangan teori dan penerapan praktis dalam bidang kajian bimbingan dan konseling, terutama dalam aspek konseling trauma

Abstract

Efikasi diri merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa untuk mendukung keberhasilan belajarnya. Karena dengan adanya efikasi diri siswa akan memiliki keyakinan positif terhadap diri sendiri, mandiri, serta independen ketika berhadapan dengan tugas sekolah. Siswa yang memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi akan memiliki inisiatif yang tinggi untuk dirinya sendiri khususnya dalam memaksimalkan aktivitas dan hasil belajarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise untuk mengembangkan efikasi diri siswa SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 213 siswa jumlah sampel 10 siswa. Teknik pengampilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa tingkat efikasi diri siswa sebelum diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise termasuk dalam kategori sangat rendah. Kedua,gambaran efikasi diri siswa sesudah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise sebanyak delapan kali pertemuan, terdapat pengembangan efikasi diri pada siswa dan berada pada kategori tinggi. Ketiga, berdasarkan hasil hipotesis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise efektif digunakan untuk mengembangkan efikasi diri siswa.AbstractSelf-efficacy is one of the important factors that students must have to support their learning success. Because with self-efficacy students will have positive beliefs about themselves, be independent, and independent when dealing with school assignments. Students who have high self-efficacy will have high initiative for themselves, especially in maximizing their learning activities and results. The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of group guidance services with group exercise techniques to develop the self-efficacy of SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah students. The population of this study amounted to 213 students with a sample size of 10 students. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the level of self-efficacy of students before being given group guidance services with group exercise techniques was in the very low category. Second, the picture of student self-efficacy after being given group guidance services with group exercise techniques for eight meetings, there is a development of self-efficacy in students and is in the high category. Third, based on the results of the hypothesis, it can be concluded that group guidance with group exercise techniques is effectively used to develop students' self-efficacy.
