Abstract

Akreditasi sekolah/ madrasah merupakan proses penilaian secara komprehensif terhadap kelayakan dan kinerja satuan dan/ atau program, yang dilakukan sebagai bentuk akuntabilitas publik. Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat banyak sekolah/ madrasah yang ada di Kota Ternate yang harus di re-akreditasi tahun 2017. SD-A merupakan sekolah mitra IbM yang sudah dua kali diakreditasi yaitu pada tahun 2007 dengan peringkat akreditasi A, sementara tahun 2012 re-akreditasi dan terakreditasi dengan peringkat C. SD-B merupakan sekolah mitra IbM yang telah diakreditasi tahun 2012 dengan peringkat akreditasi C. Program pendampingan penyusunan borang akreditasi bagi Sekolah Dasar di kota Ternate merupakan salah satu program pengabdian yang dilakukan berupa; 1) transfer pengetahuan terkait pentingnya akreditasi sekolah, 2) pelatihan intensif terkait  penyusunan  borang  akreditasi  sekolah,  3) pendampingan penyusunan borang akreditasi bagi sekolah mitra. Adanya program pengabdian masyarakat ini berdampak terhadap peningkatan pemahaman sekolah mitra terkait akreditasi sehingga dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran serta meningkatkan tanggung jawab sekolah mitra untuk meningkatkan status akreditasi sekolah.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian pengembangan model multimedia pembelajaran fisika berorientasi peta kompetensi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di provinsi Maluku Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efektivitas penggunaan multimedia interaktif (MMI) dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep fisika siswa SMA khususnya pada materi kalor. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan randomized control group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel siswa kelas X pada salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes yakni uji kompetensi siswa yang berisi kemampuan yang diujinasionalkan terkait materi kalor. Hasil perhitungan Effect Size menunjukkan bahwa besarnya Cohen’s d effect size antara kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 3,7 (tinggi) dan antara kelas eksperimen 2 dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,7 (sedang). Hal ini berarti bahwa penggunaan MMI secara signifikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada kemampuan yang diujinasionalkan khususnya pada materi kalor. Besarnya effect size menunjukkan bahwa implementasi MMI lebih efektif jika digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran tertentu dalam hal ini model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji coba aplikasi gamifikasi model serial pada perkuliahan gelombang dan optik khususnya pada topik interferensi dan difraksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain time series. Subyek penelitian ini melibatkan 20 mahasiswa fisika (L = 6, P = 14, rerata umur 19,5 tahun) yang mengikuti perkuliahan gelombang dan optik pada salah satu universitas di kota Bandung. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dengan instrumen berupa 32 soal pilihan ganda dan 4 soal pilihan ganda beralasan. Produk penelitian ini dinamai aplikasi OpticalGamification (OG) model serial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap serinya.

Abstract

Collaboration in learning is often carried out by students, but often the teacher does not evaluate it, the teacher assumes that the collaboration carried out by students in learning is just an ordinary interaction and rarely gives students the opportunity to ask questions, differentiates abilities and reduces learning opportunities together, so students do not learn from peers and do not have the opportunity to provide input and respect the opinions of others. This problem then becomes the objective of implementing Lesson Study learning to find out how much collaborative activity between students in learning.  The main purpose of implementing Lesson Study in these subjects is to increase collaboration activities among students. The research team is interested in implementing learning through lesson study. The basic pattern of lesson study is the heterogeneous grouping of students in small groups with four members. The members are expected to share knowledge each other through sharing tasks given by the teacher. The task is continued with jumping tasks. That is, giving tasks / questions that increase without giving examples first. If a third of students can work on the question, then the jumping task is successful. The method used is descriptive. The data collection techniques were documentation and observation. The data analysis used was descriptive. The results showed that there was an increase in student collaboration activities when implementing lesson study, it was 25%.

Abstract

The development of computer technology provides an opportunity for educators to innovate in the development of digital teaching materials. This development research aims to: 1) develop magnetic field teaching materials based on the Google sites assisted learning cycle model for grade XII students of Madrasah Aliyah, 2) investigate the feasibility of magnetic field teaching materials developed, 3) investigate improvements in student learning outcomes by using teaching materials developed, 4) investigating student responses to the use of teaching materials developed in physics learning. This development research refers to the 5 stages of the ADDIE development design which includes the analyze, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation  stages. The validation of teaching material products involves material experts, media experts and language experts, each of which consists of 3 validators. The teaching material product was implemented by involving 20 students grade XII at one of the Madrasah Aliyah in the City of Tidore Kepulauan. Data collection techniques used in this study were validation sheets, test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions and questionnaires. The results showed that teaching material products based on the Google sites assisted learning cycle model were declared feasible for use in learning. Student learning outcomes have increased after participating in learning. Students also gave very good responses to the use of teaching materials developed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cognitive abilities of students on the concept of heat and its transfer in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate. This data collection uses reliability, distinguishing power and difficulty level test techniques. The test instrument used is a description question consisting of 8 questions of students' cognitive abilities. The data were analyzed quantitatively. The subjects of this study were students of class VII1 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate as many as 26 students. From the overall cognitive results which include 3 indicators of students' cognitive abilities where students reach the sufficient category, namely in the pretest results of 15 students and postest 20 students with an average score of 41-60, because students are able to understand the problem and can explain appropriately in solving the problem, in the less category the pretest results of 8 students and postest 3 students with an average score of 21-40, while in the very poor category the pretest results of 2 students and 3 students with an average score of 0-20, because when answering questions students only focus on solving problems do not follow the stages in solving problems, students have not been trained to formulate problems by writing what is known and what is asked in the problem.

Abstract

Kawasan wisata di Desa Pandanga Morotai Selatan merupakan kawasan pariwisata bahari yang memiliki potensi bencana tsunami. Hal ini tidak didukung oleh kesadaran masyarakat mengenai ancaman bencana tsunami. Permasalahan prioritas yang akan ditangani dalam program PKM adalah 1). keterbatasan kapasitas masyarakat baik individu, rumah tangga, maupun komunitas dalam menghadapi dan menangani bencana. 2) tidak ada jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami di kawasan wisata berdasarkan pemetaan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini adalah pendekatan Comunity Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR) yang melibatkan komunitas lokal supaya terlibat aktif dalam penanggulan bencana. Kelompok masyarakat merupakan pihak yang paling utama mendapatkan risiko saat terjadi bencana, sehingga perlu memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat terhadap bencana. Selain itu masyarakat menjadi inti pembuat keputusan dalam pengurangan risiko bencana. Untuk penilaian tentang tingkat pemahaman dan kapasitas kebencanan dilakukan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan ketika kegiatan penyuluhan. Lembaga mitra yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah Kepala Desa Pandanga, Morotai Selatan, Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Pulau Morotai, Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Pulau Morotai, dan Kelompok Masyarakat Karang Taruna. Pemetaan partisipatif jalur evakuasi dilakukan dengan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dengan bantuan interpretasi data citra pengindraan jauh. Obyek di indetifikasi melalui peta citra yang sudah di layout kemudian di deliniasi batasnya dan akhirnya dihasilkan sebuah peta tematik sebaran obyek hasil identifikasi. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari solusi yang ditawarkan pada permasalahan yang ada di mitra adalah terpetakan seluruh bentang alam Desa Wisata Pandanga, Morotai Selatan, terpetakan jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami Desa Wisata Pandanga, Morotai Selatan, terpetakan area yang berisiko bagi wisatawan, dan kelompok masyarakat mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang potensi bencana alam di daerahnya khususnya tsunami. Sehingga ke depannya masyarakat akan berperan aktif dalam pembuatan jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami dan memiliki kemampuan, kesiapan, dan kapasitas dalam menghadapi bencana tsunami.

Abstract

This research aims to streamline the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites which is suitable for use for physics learning and determine the effectiveness of the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites. Google Sites is a service owned by the Google site that facilitates its users so they can have a website easily and practically. Using Google Sites for students will make it easier for students to access teaching materials and will not need to use up smartphone memory capacity. With this convenience, lecture material can be in the form of learning links that students can access. Apart from that, students can access it anywhere and at any time so that it can be used to study independently according to lecture needs. This research is Research and Development research with a 4D model which includes 4 stages, namely the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The results of the research show that the PjBL model e-module assisted by Google Sites in learning the history of physics is effectively used in learning to increase student learning independence.
