Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas pengetahuan inkuiri guru dalam pembelajaran sains, dan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan konsep ilmu pengetahuan alam melalui pemodelan.  Peneliti sebagai model dan guru Sains sebagai siswa.  Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Quota Sampling yaitu pengambilan unsur sampel secara sembarang sampai terpenuhi jumlah yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada empat puluh delapan orang guru SD di Kota Bandar Lampung yang dilaksanakan dari April sampai Juni 2015. Guru yang dilibatkan berasal dari SD yang berlokasi di kota, semi-kota dan pinggiran-kota Bandar Lampung. Variabel yang diamati yaitu; konsepsi awal, hasil belajar, dan kemampuan inkuiri. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes, dan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui kuesioner, dan dianalisis dengan statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Kemampuan konsep sains guru yang mengalami pembelajaran melalui inkuiri secara signifikan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kemampuan konsep sains guru yang mengalami pembelajan konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan argumentasi yang dapat diberdayakan pada fase orientasi menggunakan performance assessment.  Seperti diketahui bahwa performance assessment merupakan penilaian yang menuntut siswa untuk menunjukkan bahwa mereka telah menguasai keterampilan dan kompetensi tertentu dengan melakukan atau menghasilkan sesuatu. Dalam penelitian ini performance assessment digunakan untuk menilai keterampilan argumentasi (claims, data, warrants, backings, qualifiers, and rebuttals) siswa yang muncul pada fase orientasi pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian survey dengan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Pemilihan sampel menggunakan purfosive sampling sehingga diperoleh responden sebanyak 160 siswa berasal dari 5 SMA di Kota Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan data diperoleh rata-rata persentase keterampilan argumentasi yang muncul pada fase orientasi yang dinilai dengan performance assessment sebagai berikut:  claims 30,7%, data 29,7%, warrants 26,7%, backings 24,8%, qualifiers 18,6%, dan rebuttals 14,5%.  Hasil ini memberikan gambaran adanya gejala kesulitan dalam memberdayakan keterampilan argumentasi siswa untuk fase orientasi pada pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian mengembangkan tes yang berorientasi pada keterampilan argumentasi.  Instrumen tes digunakan untuk memetakan kemampuan argumentasi siswa dan pemahaman siswa tentang argumentasi.  Instrumen tes berorientasi pada argumentasi dikembangkan berdasarkan skema argumentasi Toulmin.  Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas XI Kota Bandar Lampung.   Sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling untuk 37 siswa. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan analisis statistik item konten tiap elemen perlu diperbaharui lagi dan divalidasi oleh ahli argumentasi ilmiah dan ahli konten materi.  Hasil pengembangan tes argumentasi ilmiah ini menjadi landasan untuk menyusun instrumen tes yang lebih lengkap sehingga dapat mengukur semua struktur pendukung komponen argumentasi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Digital-Worksheet (E-LKPD) with the Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite on understanding physics concepts of high school students in South Lampung, Lampung. A total of 60 students were involved in this research and were divided into two classes, namely the experimental and control classes. Data were analyzed using n-gain, independent sample t-test, and effect size. The research results showed that the average N-gain in the experimental class was 0.73 in the high category, while it was 0.58 in the medium category in the control class. There was a significant difference in n-gain in understanding concepts (sig.2-tailed < 0.05) between the experimental and control classes. This result is also reinforced by the effect size, which is very high, namely 1.319. This shows that the E-LKPD with the Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite is able to improve understanding of physics concepts, especially regarding Vibration. E-LKPD with the Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite can help students understand concepts, improve work activities, and reduce misconceptions.

Abstract

Evaluasi proses pembelajaran mengungkap fakta bahwa: 52,35% pendefinisian tujuan pembelajaran matematika dan fisika berdasarkan kurikulum masih minim, 47,59% dokumen penilaian belum berkelanjutan, hanya 66,67% guru merespon kebutuhan ideal belajar siswa, serta 45,67% proses penilaian pembelajaran masih dilakukan secara terpisah-pisah. Terungkap juga adanya kebutuhan dalam peningkatan kompetensi guru terkait asesmen diagnostik untuk mengakomodasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, diperlukan suatu kegiatan workshop yang bertujuan untuk melatih guru menyusun asesmen diagnostik kombinasi instrument platform merdeka mengajar bermutu. Target khusunya adalah memberikan pemahaman, pengalaman dan kesempatan melakukan desiminasi kepada guru tentang prinsip penyusunan, penggunaan, serta pengolahan hasil asesmen diagnostik kombinasi instrumen platform merdeka mengajar. Metode yang digunakan berbentuk workshop partisifatif dengan pemberian materi, pelatihan dan praktik menyusun butir soal. Pada hari kedua dan ketiga peserta melanjutkan menyusun butir soal diagnostik kombinasi instrumen platform merdeka mengajar. Workshop dilaksanakan di Gedung K FKIP Universitas Lampung dengan diikuti 33 peserta dari berbagai sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru SMP/MTs bidang matematika dan IPA mengalami peningkatan dan keterampilan guru SMP/MTs bidang matematika dan IPA meningkat terutama dalam penyusunan asesmen diagnostik. Sehingga dimungkinkan peserta dapat menyusun sendiri di sekolah masing-masing. Menindaklanjuti kegiatan ini, hendaknya perlu dilakukan kegiatan dengan jangkauan yang lebih luas dan adanya kesinambungan dan monitoring pasca kegiatan pengabdian ini. Sehingga guru-guru SMP/MTs dapat mempraktekan penggunaan asesmen diagnostik dalam pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Kata Kunci: asesmen diagnostic; merdeka belajar; pembelajaran berdiferensiasi AbstractEvaluation of the learning process revealed the fact that: 52.35% of the definition of mathematics and physics learning objectives based on the curriculum is still minimal, 47.59% of assessment documents are not yet sustainable, only 66.67% of teachers respond to students' ideal learning needs, and 45.67% of the assessment process learning is still carried out separately. It was also revealed that there was a need to increase teacher competence regarding diagnostic assessments to accommodate differentiated learning. To answer this need, a workshop activity is needed which aims to train teachers to prepare diagnostic assessments using a combination of quality independent teaching platform instruments. The specific target is to provide understanding, experience and opportunities to disseminate to teachers about the principles of compiling, using and processing the results of diagnostic assessments using the independent teaching platform instrument combination. The method used is in the form of a participatory workshop with the provision of materials, training and practice in preparing question items. On the second and third days, participants continued to compose diagnostic questions on the combination of independent teaching platform instruments. The workshop was held in Building K, FKIP, University of Lampung, attended by 33 participants from various schools. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the knowledge and understanding of SMP/MTs teachers in mathematics and science has increased and the skills of SMP/MTs teachers in mathematics and science have increased, especially in preparing diagnostic assessments. So it is possible for participants to arrange their own at their respective schools. Following up on this activity, it is necessary to carry out activities with a wider reach and provide continuity and monitoring after this service activity. Abstract

Today's education must meet the needs of 21st-century learning and developments in the digital age. HOTS and science process skills must be trained to carry out scientific investigations. This experimental research aims to identify the improvement of students' science process skills affected by HOTS-oriented student worksheets through blended learning conducted in one of the high schools in Pringsewu District, Lampung Province. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Pringsewu, with a population of 180 people. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique so that class MIPA 2 was obtained as an experimental class with a total of 29 students and MIPA 4 class as a control class with a total of 31 students. The research method used was a non-equivalent control group design which aims to look for the effect of a causal relationship between two factors. The data collection technique used was a pretest and posttest design using a science process skills instrument. The n-gain results show an increase in 5 indicators of students' science process skills, where the increase occurs in the medium category. The results showed an increase after using HOTS-Oriented Student Worksheets (SW) on impulse-momentum material through blended learning to improve students' science process skills.

Abstract

The study aims to develop an electronic module based on guided inquiry on Newton's law of gravity material that is valid, practical, and effective. The developed e-module aims to practice critical thinking skills in physics learning. This development research uses the ADDIE development method which consists of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Student response questionnaires to guided inquiry e-modules and tests of critical thinking skills became research instruments. Data analysis presented with quantitative descriptive. The product validity was assessed by 3 experts with an average score of 3.63 with category very valid. The practicality of the product consisted of readability which was tested on 15 high school students in Grade X and the teacher's perception of the suitability of guided inquiry-based learning activities in e-modules by obtaining an average percentage of 90% in the category very practical. The effectiveness of the product is assessed based on students' responses of critical thinking skills are improve after using the e-module by obtaining a product effectiveness percentage of 87% with category very effective. Student response questionnaire showed a positive response to the developed e-module. Based on the analysis of the research results, it is stated that the guided inquiry-based e-module on Newton's law of gravity is valid, practical, and effective for practicing critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to streamline the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites which is suitable for use for physics learning and determine the effectiveness of the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites. Google Sites is a service owned by the Google site that facilitates its users so they can have a website easily and practically. Using Google Sites for students will make it easier for students to access teaching materials and will not need to use up smartphone memory capacity. With this convenience, lecture material can be in the form of learning links that students can access. Apart from that, students can access it anywhere and at any time so that it can be used to study independently according to lecture needs. This research is Research and Development research with a 4D model which includes 4 stages, namely the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The results of the research show that the PjBL model e-module assisted by Google Sites in learning the history of physics is effectively used in learning to increase student learning independence.

Abstract

Evaluasi terhadap proses penilaian yang telah dilakukan guru dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) 76,57 % guru telah menerapkan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajarannya, namun belum menerapkan penilaian secara objektif untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir yang sesuai dengan karakteristik PBL karena belum adanya instrumen penilaian yang mudah, praktis, dan tepat pada saat proses pembelajaran dan (2) 64% guru belum menerapkan penilaian authentic secara utuh dan konsisten. Bimtek "Penyusunan Authentic Assessment Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL): Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka" bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan keterampilan dalam merancang penilaian otentik yang sesuai dengan pendekatan pembelajaran PBL. Metode kegiatan berbentuk bimtek partisifatif dengan pemberian materi, pelatihan dan praktik merancang instrumen penilaian yang sesuai dengan karakteristik authentic assessment berbasis problem based learning (PBL) selama 10 jam pada hari pertama. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan bimbingan teknis pada hari kedua dan ketiga peserta dalam menyusun butir item authentic assessment berbasis problem based learning (PBL) disekolah masing-masing. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan secara offline di ruang K2 gedung K FKIP Unila, serta secara kolaboratif pada sekolah-sekolah peserta bimtek. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan bimtek ini adalah i) meningkatnya pemahaman guru-guru yang ditandai dengan dengan perolehan rata-rata pretest sebesar 57,62 meningkat menjadi 72,12 (perolehan rata-rata posttest); ii) perolehan rata-rata n-gain peserta bimtek sebesar 0,24 dengan perolehan mayoritas kategori peningkatan pemahaman peserta adalah pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 63%; dan iii) keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan authentic assessment berbasis PBL sebagai bagian integral dari Kurikulum Merdeka mengalami perbaikan.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the influence of blended learning, along with a guided inquiry-based tracker app, on students' ability to think creatively. The main goal of the study is to quantify the extent to which this approach enhances students' capacity for original thought. The research design employed in this study is the One Group Pretest Posttest design. The research sample consisted of thirty-six students from SMAN 1 Gedongtataan's X Science 3 class. The instruction of fundamental harmonic motion on springs is facilitated through the utilization of a guided inquiry-based tracker application in a blended learning environment. The collection of data on students' creative thinking abilities involved the use of written assessments (Pretest-Posttest) and the analysis of this data using the Paired Sample T-Test. The research findings showed an N-Gain value of 0.20, which falls into the low range. Additionally, the paired sample T-test analysis revealed a statistically significant result with a sig (2-tailed) value of less than 0.05. The findings indicate that there were discernible variations in the creative cognitive abilities of students prior to and following their utilization of the tracker application. The results indicate that the usage of a guided inquiry-based tracker application in blended learning environments can improve students' ability to think creatively.
