Abstract

Salah satu fasilitas internet yang terus maju seiring perkembangan teknologi di internet adalah media sosial. Hal ini membuat media sosial, terutama Instagram yang merupakan sosial media dengan pengguna terbanyak di Indonesia, menjadi alat pemasaran yang penting bagi banyak sektor industri, termasuk sektor perhotelan.  Dengan komunikasi dua arah yang didapat dari engagement pada media sosial, maka terbangun juga keterlibatan pelanggan lebih dalam yang juga akan berpengaruh kepada pendapatan dari sebuah usaha. Pada penelitian ini dipilih salah satu usaha yang baru saja berdiri selama 2 tahun lebih dan tidak terikat dengan sebuah franchise untuk mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh engagement pada media sosial terhadap pendapatan sebuah usaha baru, sehingga Aurila Hotel Palangka Raya dipilih sebagai objek penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif berupa uji linear regresi dengan aplikasi SPSS, data revenue bulanan dari hotel tersebut dikumpulkan dan dianalisa dengan dibandingkan dengan angka engagement pada periode tertentu. Dari hasil analisis tersebut didapatkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara engagement pada akun Instagram hotel dengan revenue bulanan.

Abstract

This paper aims tp discuss the legitimacy of AIW at Nazhir Airlangga University from the perspective of the waqf law and whether it has complied with the principle of maslahah mursalah, considering that various cases of waqf property do not run optimally, are productive, are not used or are transferred to third parties. There is an interesting phenomenon, namely that at Nazhir, Airlangga University is the only one and the first time an Indonesian State University has received a Nazhir certificate to manage and develop waqf. In this case, it is interesting to discuss the practice of waqf at Nazhir Airlangga University according to the Waqf Law. This normative research uses statute approach and the conceptual approach. The results show that in practice Nazhir Universitas Airlangga in carrying out his waqf pledge practice does not use AIW un-authentic. That is, Nazhir Airlangga University in carrying out his waqf practice in terms of his pledge deed is in accordance with the procedures in accordance with Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kehandalan operasional dan kapasitas produksi di Hydrocracking Complex (HCC) PT Kilang Pertamina International – RU V Balikpapan melalui penggantian pompa G-3-02B/D yang berperan vital dalam proses injeksi wash water. Pompa ini berfungsi melarutkan Ammonia (NH3) dan Hidrogen Sulfida (H2S) dari recycle gas, mencegah fouling pada internal tube Combine Feed Exchanger (CFE) dan Reactor Effluent Air Cooler (REAC), serta menjaga kemurnian H2 dan aktivitas reaksi hydrocracking. Berdasarkan data maintenance, pompa G-3-02BD memiliki Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) yang sangat rendah sebesar 6,257 jam dibandingkan best practice 26,280 jam dan Reliability Index 9,07% dibandingkan best practice 71,65%. Metode yang digunakan untuk menilai investasi penggantian pompa adalah Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), dan Profitability Index (PI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa proyek penggantian pompa memiliki NPV sebesar $992.590, IRR 32,81%, PP 2,90 tahun, dan PI 2,55. Kesimpulannya, proyek ini layak secara ekonomi untuk dilaksanakan. Penggantian pompa G-3-02B/D diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan wash water minimum sebesar 5% vol intake HCU, memastikan kehandalan pompa wash water, dan mendukung target Rencana Pengolahan Harian (RPH) sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan keandalan operasional kilang.

Abstract

Acquisition is a restructuring activity with different risks depending on the motive used by the company. This study aims to identify the relationship between acquisition motives and stock market performance moderated by slack resources in the acquirer companies. This study observed 65 companies in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that performed acquisitions in 2010 – 2020. The data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression technique. The data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression technique. The study concluded that the exploratory motive negatively affected stock market performance. Meanwhile, the moderating variable of slack resources was reported to weaken the negative effect of exploratory motive on stock market performance. This research suggests managers should make a careful decision regarding the acquisition motives that will be used by a company. In addition, they must ensure sufficient slack resources during the acquisition as the process may impact the stock market performance. Thus, investors must carefully observe the acquisition motives and possible risks that might harm their investment. Abstract

The exchange rate refers to the price of one currency measured in another currency. Changes in the exchange rate can have a significant impact on the trade balance, investment flows, and cash flow of multinational companies. PT. XYZ, a manufacturing company in the automotive sector, is a subsidiary of a Global brand that has been operating since 1971, focusing on exporting cars and components produced in Indonesia to various countries worldwide. This study aims to analyze the relationship between exchange rate movements and cash flow movements at PT. XYZ using regression analysis involving hypothesis testing, linearity tests, and coefficient tests. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant relationship between the exchange rate and trade balance, suggesting that risk management for exchange rate movements is necessary to manage the impact on the trade balance, while the relationship between exchange rate and cash flow operating does not show a statistically significant relationship.

Abstract

The researcher conducted this study to measure the effect of board interlock on company performance and moderated by the company’s board diversity. This study uses a population of non cyclicals consumer group companies on the main board on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2015 – 2020 period. The sample in this study were 29 companies and 174 observations. In this study, to measue the board interlock by counting number of positions on the company’s board, yo measure the company’s board diversity by using return on assets, while to measure the company’s board diversity by using the Blau index formula and coefficient of variance. Based on the results of the regression with SPSS 21, the board interlock has a significant positive effect on company performance. Meanwhile, board diversity plays a role in strengthening the positive influence of board interlock on company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the differences in financial performance before and during the pandemic and the effect of financial leverage on financial performance before and during the pandemic. In this study, the proxy for measuring financial performance is ROE, and the measurement of financial leverage is DAR. The sample for this study was taken using purposive sampling, and the analysis used panel data regression with EViews 9 software. The sample in this study was the manufacturing industry during the 2017–2022 period. The results of the hypothesis indicate that ROE differs before and during the pandemic using the paired Wilcoxon test. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis of financial leverage before the pandemic using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) test showed a positive effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, financial leverage during the pandemic using the Random Effect Model (REM) test showed a negative effect on financial performance.
