Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the analysis of the inclusive teaching method on the achievement of dribbling skills in Class VII students of SMP Negeri 29 Medan in the 2020/2021 academic year. The location of this research was carried out at SMP Negeri 29 Medan. The subjects in this study were all Grade VII-5 students of SMP Negeri 29 Medan for the 2020/2021 academic year, which consisted of 30 students. The method in this research is an experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design techniques using a portfolio sheet. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction carried out by looking at the influence of certain variables on other variables carried out in class VII-5 students of SMP Negeri 29 Medan in the academic year 2020/2021 during the covid-19 period there were changes in the achievement of dribbling skills through the inclusion teaching method. The success of learning is viewed from the comparison of the classical passing standards of PJOK learning that have been determined by the school with the learning achievement carried out. Based on the results of data analysis, aspects of development and student needs can be obtained according to the situations faced by the Covid-19 period and the application of learning is carried out in a variety and innovative way to create an effective learning atmosphere even during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrative concept of traditional sports as part of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in primary schools through the framework of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, using literature review as the main data collection technique, focusing on academic sources and documents related to the Independent Curriculum and Physical Education (PJOK). Data were analyzed through reflective and systematic processes to formulate an empirical understanding of how Pancasila values can be integrated into project-based learning through traditional sports. The findings reveal that the “Pancamain Indonesia” activity effectively supports the objectives of the P5 initiative through four main aspects: (1) establishing educational units as open ecosystems that encourage community participation, (2) providing space and opportunities for students to develop character and competencies, (3) designing project-based learning processes with clear and measurable outcomes, and (4) promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among teachers to enrich educational results. Hence, implementing traditional sports through Pancamain activities can serve as a strategic co-curricular approach to reinforce the Pancasila Student Profile within primary education.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Complex Instruction learning model in improving students’ learning outcomes in the high jump subject at SD Negeri 071132 Bintuang, Pulau-Pulau Batu Barat District, South Nias Regency, during the 2022/2023 academic year. The Complex Instruction model emphasizes collaboration, communication, and social interaction within heterogeneous student groups to foster equitable participation and mutual learning. This research applied a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of two cycles, each including stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using psychomotor assessment instruments focusing on the students’ high jump performance. The initial results showed that only one out of nineteen students (5.2%) met the minimum mastery criterion. After implementing the Complex Instruction model, the results improved, with 26.3% achieving mastery in Cycle I and 36.8% in Cycle II. The average score increased from 42.1 in the pre-test to 60.8 in Cycle II. The findings indicate that the Complex Instruction model can enhance student learning outcomes in the high jump, particularly among upper-grade students (grades 5 and 6) who demonstrated 100% mastery. It is recommended that this cooperative learning approach be applied primarily to upper elementary students who have developed sufficient physical and motor readiness to perform the required jumping and landing techniques effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to train students to develop accurate and effective underhand passing skills in volleyball through the use of wall media as a training tool. The study was conducted at MTs Islamiyah Mayang, Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. The research employed an experimental method with a sample of 15 students. Data analysis techniques included a normality test to assess the effect of wall media training on the accuracy of underhand passing in volleyball. The results based on the pre-test data using passing skill assessments indicated that the majority of students initially demonstrated weak passing performance. The application of wall media exercises showed positive effects in improving students’ underhand passing precision and control.

Abstract

This empirical classroom action research aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes in the traditional sport of kasti through the application of the group learning method among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 064011 Medan during the 2022/2023 academic year. The study was motivated by the low initial mastery of kasti skills, where only 11.5% of the students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) score of 70. The research adopted the Kemmis and Taggart Spiral Model comprising two cycles, each involving stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The assessment rubric focused on three psychomotor components hitting, throwing, and catching techniques. Data were collected from 26 students using performance-based evaluation instruments. Findings demonstrated significant improvement across the two cycles. The average score increased from 43 in the pre-test (11.5% mastery) to 63 in Cycle I (34.6% mastery), and finally to 80 in Cycle II (80.8% mastery), surpassing the class mastery criterion of 80%. These results confirm that the group learning method effectively enhances students’ active participation, cooperation, and psychomotor skills in performing kasti techniques. The study concludes that cooperative group-based instruction fosters both cognitive understanding and motor performance in physical education learning contexts. Therefore, this method is recommended for primary-level physical education to enhance engagement and skill acquisition in team-based traditional games such as kasti.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the improvement of relay running learning outcomes through the Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) cooperative learning model for sixth-grade students at SD 017137 Mekar Sari Asahan in the 2023/2024 academic year. Theoretically, this model emphasizes teamwork, individual accountability, and collaborative learning to enhance psychomotor skills and mastery of physical techniques. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and Taggart spiral model, consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. The study involved 18 students as research subjects, using an observation rubric to assess relay running techniques, including starting, baton exchange, and finishing skills. The results showed that only 27.8% of students achieved mastery in the pre-test, with an average score of 57. After applying the TAI model in cycle I, 44.4% of students achieved mastery with an average score of 70. In cycle II, the number increased to 83.3% with an average score of 78, meeting the classical mastery criterion of 80% (minimum score 75). These findings indicate that the TAI model effectively improved students’ relay running performance by promoting cooperative interaction, technical skill enhancement, and active participation.
