Abstract

This study describes the role of human resource competence in improving employee performance. The human resources needed by companies today are HR competencies that have the skills to adapt to new environments such as the adoption of new technologies. The role of HR competencies today requires task skills and skill transfer skills as basic characteristics (underlying characteristics) that are deep and inherent in a person that can be used to predict various specific work situations, such as technological advances in today's digital era. This study uses a qualitative research method which is carried out on the process of understanding based on facts in a social phenomenon and human problem, and presented in an analytical and descriptive manner and collected systematically. This research uses a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that preparing human resource competencies today is an easy thing. There are challenges that hinder the success or failure of the efforts undertaken. There are several challenges that must be resolved, such as the education level of employees is still low, employees who do not have the competence to develop themselves, there are still some employees who do not understand the application of technology in the work environment, and the lack of consistency in training and development that PT Mpingchips does for each of its employees. Employee education and training contribute to increasing productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. Education and training for employees at PT Mpingchips must be provided regularly so that each employee's competence is maintained to improve organizational performance

Abstract

Purpose: This study describes the analysis of human resource competencies in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in improving the performance of MSMEs. Technological and industrial developments require competent human resources in every organization.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research was conducted in several businesses in Parepare City, where the sample was determined by purposive random sampling. This research uses qualitative research methods that emphasize the process of understanding based on facts in investigating a social phenomenon and human problems and is presented analytically and descriptively, which has been collected and then interpreted systematically.Findings:The results of the research based on the qualitative approach conducted show that to achieve competent human resources in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, human resources in companies are required to be adaptive, following company goals to adjust to employee profiles quickly, respond to the needs and developments of the times. Various challenges arise, especially related to the speed of adapting to change and the ability to collaborate virtually. The recommendations recommended in this study are to improve the performance of MSMEs as business actors to encourage the competence of the quality of human resources, especially in anticipating industry 4.0 to pay attention to and maximize aspects; Adaptive thinking and virtual collaboration.

Abstract

Product quality and variants are very important in influencing the purchasing decision when buying Whiskas at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency. With the variety of products offered, consumers can choose the product they want. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the factors that impact the purchasing decisions of Whiskas products at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency. The independent variables considered are Brand Image, Price Perception, and Promotion, while the dependent variable is the purchasing decision itself. For this study, primary data was collected through a survey involving 120 consumers, representing a sample from the total consumer base of 1850 people during the sales period from 2021 to 2022. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) Version 23 program. The findings of this study reveal a positive and significant relationship between brand image, price perception, and promotional influence on purchasing decisions for Whiskas brand products at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency. Particularly, promotional factors were identified as having a dominant impact on the purchasing decisions for Whiskas brand products at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai di Badan Kesbangpol Kabupaten Pangkep, metode analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 23. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, kuesioner dan observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang pegawai sebagai responden di Badan Kesbangpol Kabupaten Pangkep. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling Jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan pegawai tetap 30 orang dan 4 orang pegawai honorer pada Badan Kesbangpol Kabupaten Pangkep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,340 dan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,000 < 0,005. Secara parsial kompetensi juga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai ditinjau dari nilai t hitung sebesar 2,189 > t tabel 2,045 artinya kompetensi pegawai sangat mempengaruhi kinerja seseorang karena setiap pegawai dituntut untuk bisa adaptasi terhadap setiap perubahan yang terjadi pada organisasi. Lingkungan Kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,554 dan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,003 < 0,005. Secara parsial lingkungan kerja juga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai ditinjau dari nilai t hitung sebesar 3,226 > t tabel 2,045 artinya kenyamanan lingkungan kerja dapat memicu pegawai untuk bekerja lebih baik sehingga peningkatan kinerja dapat dicapai secara maksimal. Kompetensi dan Lingkungan Kerja secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dilihat dari nilai F hitung sebesar 10,797 > F tabel 3,32.

Abstract

The travel industry has experienced rapid development due to the utilization of e-commerce, and marketing technologies such as e-commerce serve as tools in managing business resources. Therefore, this research aims to examine the factors influencing the use of e-commerce in enhancing the performance of travel businesses. This study adopts an explanatory research approach, intending to elucidate the relationships between various variables through hypothesis testing. The unit of analysis in this research is businesses in the Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi, specifically those engaged in travel ticketing services. The research findings reveal three main factors affecting the use of e-commerce for business performance improvement: integrated information systems, networking, and technological innovation. Additionally, this study is supported by the Technology Organization Environment (TOE) theory to assess companies' decisions in adopting new technologies such as e-commerce. The research findings contribute to enhancing the understanding of travel industry practitioners in utilizing e-commerce technology

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh personal Selling dan Sales Promition terhadap keputusan pembelian Produk Rumah tangga di PT. Hosana Inti Cabang Makassar. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi kasus untuk menghimpun informasi secara spesifik dan mendalam pada konsumen di PT. Hosana Inti Cabang Makassar dan Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode analisis linear sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Pelanggan PT. Hosama Inti Cabang Makassar yang melakukan transaksi produk rumah tangga sejak tahun 2020, dengan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 98 orang konsumen. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan dua pendekatan utama dalam memperkuat keputusan pembelian, yaitu aktivitas personal selling dan sales promotion yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk rumah tanggan pada PT. Hosana Inti cabang Makassar. Temuan ini menambah pemahaman perusahaan untuk mempertimbangkan peningkatan efektivitas personal selling dan sales promotion guna meningkatkan keputusan pembelian dan, akhirnya, penjualan produk mereka. Kebahruan penelitian ini memperkenalkan perspektif yang baru dan berkontribusi signifikan dalam literatur pemasaran dengan menyediakan data yang relevan dan konteks spesifik yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam situasi bisnis serupa.

Abstract

This research expands the existing body of knowledge on e-commerce adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by examining seaweed businesses in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, through the lens of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The objective is to identify the factors influencing e-commerce adoption among seaweed SMEs, focusing on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and self-efficacy. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing surveys distributed to seaweed business operators. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used for data analysis to validate the relationships between the constructs proposed in the TAM framework. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between perceived ease of use and e-commerce adoption. Furthermore, perceived usefulness and self-efficacy are identified as key mediators that enhance e-commerce adoption. This study also emphasizes the critical role of user attitude in mediating the relationship between ease of use, usefulness, self-efficacy, and e-commerce adoption. The results underscore the importance of raising awareness and understanding of e-commerce benefits among SMEs. Businesses should focus on providing high-quality, relevant information to boost user confidence and adoption rates. Consequently, this study makes a substantial contribution to the literature on digital management and marketing, offering practical guidance for SMEs to effectively leverage e-commerce.
