Abstract

Oral motor skills for babies aged 6-12 months can be improved by providing stimulation such as baby-led weaning, which is a method of eating activities that introduces healthy family foods that are often consumed by families in the form of finger foods and gives children the opportunity to eat on their own from the start of the process of introducing complementary foods. breast milk. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of the baby-led weaning method on oral motor skills in babies 6-12 months in the UPTD Work Area of ​​the East Peureulak Health Center. The research design used in this research is quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The population in this study were all 127 babies aged 6-12 months in the East Peureulak Health Center Working Area. The number of samples in this study was 15 babies 6-12 months. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that the oral motor skills of babies aged 6-12 months before being given the baby led weaning method were 6.6 with a standard deviation of 0.737 and a Confidence Interval of 5-8 and after being given the baby led weaning method was 7.4 with a standard deviation of 0.516 and Confidence Intervals 7-8. There is an effect of baby-led weaning on oral motor skills in babies 6-12 months with a p-value of 0.004 (p<0.05). It is hoped that parents can use baby-led weaning as an option method for providing MPASI to stimulate children's motor skills, increase children's appetite, train children to recognize food textures, and must still be under the supervision of competent health workers

Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the blood contains low hemoglobin levels. Hemoglobin is an iron-rich protein that carries oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body.Anemia in the postpartum period is a condition of postpartum mothers with hemoglobin (Hb) levels < 11 g/dl. As a result, it can interfere with the blood's capacity to transport oxygen throughout the body. This study aims to analyze determinants related to the incidence of anemia in postpartum mothers in the working area of ​​the Darussalam Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency in 2024.This research was conducted in July 2024.This research is analytical using the cross sectional method. The sampling technique was carried out using a total sampling of 35 people. Data were collected through Hb level checks using GCHb easy touch and interviews with questionnaires. Univariate data were analyzed descriptively and bivariate data were analyzed using the chi square test. There was a significant relationship between age and the incidence of anemia in postpartum mothers using the Pearson chi-square test with a value of p = 0.000 (p<0.05). There was a significant relationship between the type of delivery and the incidence of anemia in postpartum mothers using the Pearson chi-square test with a value of p = 0.001 (p<0.05). There was a significant relationship between the consumption of Fe tablets and the incidence of anemia in postpartum mothers using the pearson chi-square test with a value of p = 0.000 (p<0.05).

Abstract

During pregnancy, physical and psychosocial changes occur due to the growth and development of the fetus. During pregnancy, it is estimated that 80% of physical and psychological changes occur in pregnant women. Thisstudy is tofind out the relationship between the physical condition and knowledge of primigravida pregnant women with sexual activity. This type of research is cross sectional. The population in this study is all primigravida pregnant women in the Working Area of the Darussalam Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency in July 2024 as many as 34 people by means of total sampling. This research was conducted in July 2024 with a questionnaire filling method. Data processing is carried out using a chi square test. The results of the univariate analysis revealedthat the majority of physical conditions in primigravida pregnant women in the Darussalam Health Center Working Area, Aceh Besar Regency in 2024, were in the sick category , which was 58.8%, the majority of knowledge of primigravida pregnant women is in the poor category, which is 58.8% and the majority of sexual activity in primigravida pregnant women is in the declining category , which is 70.6%. Theresults of bivariate analysis obtained ada relationship between physical conditions p value (0.002 < α : 0.05, ada relationship between knowledge p value (0.000 < α : 0.05 ) primigravida pregnant women with sexual activity. It is expected that respondents will deepen their knowledge about sexual activity during pregnancy both through print and electronic media.

Abstract

Pemberian air susu ibu (ASI) eksklusif merupakan upaya penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi secara optimal, khususnya pada masa emas usia 0–12 bulan. Pola dan frekuensi menyusui yang tepat tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi bayi, tetapi juga berperan dalam menjaga produksi ASI agar tetap optimal. Pola menyusui yang kurang baik dapat berdampak pada tidak tercapainya kenaikan berat badan bayi sesuai standar Kenaikan Berat Badan Minimal (KBM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola menyusui terhadap kenaikan berat badan bayi usia 0–6 bulan di Klinik Utama Bunda Ria Punge Blang Cut, Kecamatan Jaya Baru, Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh bayi usia 0–6 bulan di Klinik Utama Bunda Ria sebanyak 74 bayi, dengan sampel 40 bayi dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan pencatatan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pola menyusui kurang, sebagian besar bayi tidak mengalami kenaikan berat badan sesuai KBM.  Pola menyusui cukup, kenaikan berat badan bayi masih belum optimal. Sementara, pada pola menyusui baik, mayoritas bayi mengalami kenaikan berat badan sesuai KBM. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan p value <0,001 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pola menyusui dengan kenaikan berat badan bayi usia 0–6 bulan. Kesimpulannya semakin baik pola menyusui ibu, semakin besar peluang bayi mengalami kenaikan berat badan sesuai KBM. Oleh karena itu, edukasi pola menyusui perlu ditingkatkan untuk mendukung pertumbuhan bayi secara optimal.

Abstract

Permasalahan kekurangan dan kelebihan gizi masih terjadi secara bersamaan di berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia, dan dapat memengaruhi pertumbuhan, perkembangan, serta kemampuan belajar anak. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berhubungan dengan status gizi anak adalah pola konsumsi junk food atau makanan siap saji yang umumnya tinggi lemak, gula, dan garam, tetapi rendah serat serta zat gizi penting. Konsumsi junk food pada anak usia 10–12 tahun cenderung meningkat seiring perubahan gaya hidup dan kemudahan akses terhadap makanan cepat saji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsumsi junk food dengan status gizi pada anak usia 10–12 tahun di SDN Deah Rungkom Kajhu, Kecamatan Baitussalam, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasi dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV–VI sebanyak 55 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Data konsumsi junk food dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan status gizi diukur menggunakan indeks massa tubuh menurut umur (IMT/U) berdasarkan standar WHO. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai Pearson Chi-Square sebesar 29,960 dengan df = 12 dan nilai signifikansi p = 0,003 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konsumsi junk food dengan status gizi anak. Uji Linear-by-Linear Association juga menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan hubungan linier (p = 0,040). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsumsi junk food berhubungan dengan status gizi anak usia 10–12 tahun di SDN Deah Rungkom Kajhu Baitussalam Aceh Besar.
