Abstract

The research area is a cavity limestone quarry region, located in Sawir Block, Tuban Regency, EastJava Province. Design of the bench in cavity limestone quarry is extremely determined by rock massquality and slope stability analysis. The aim of this research is designing of the bench of cavitylimestone in the quarry based on equibrilium limit and using slide software added. The research usedquantitative method. To obtain slope stability analysis of limestone needs some parameters. The mainparameters are uniaxial compressive strength of intact rock, GSI, lithology, disturbance factor, unitweight and application for slope (height). To solve this analysis is assisted by Roclab software. TheRoclab is a software for determining rock mass strength based on the generalized Hoek-Brown failurecriterion. Final result of the research will be used for safely mine design of the limestone quarry.

Abstract

Limestone mining needs a good mine design which is safe for the environment. Mine design is determined by the rock mass quality. The rock mass quality in each mine location is not necessary the same depending on the geological conditions. The research area is located in limestone quarry of Sale District, Rembang Regency, Center Java Province-Indonesia. In the limestone quarry area, there is cavity zone which consists of cavity limestone layer at the wall of quarry bench. This cavity layer in limestone quarry has occurred by solution process. The cavity layer zone is a potentially weak zone which has caused bench failures in the limestone quarry area. The objective of this research is to analyze the rock mass quality in the cavity limestone layer using Geological Strength Index (GSI) system. Final result of the research is a rock mass characterization, specifically for cavity limestone layer. Keywords: geological strength index, limestone, cavity layer

Abstract

In the study area, a cavity zone is exposed at the wall of quarry bench and occurs by a solution process. The cavity layer zone is a weak zone which has caused bench failures. The objective of this research is to evaluate the quality of the cavity limestone layer for a safe mine design using Rock Mass Rating (RMR) system. Abstract

PT. Atha Marth Naha Kramo is a coal mining company located in Langap Village, South Malinau District, Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of blasting vibrations on lowwall slopes, to determine the probability of avalanches affected by blasting vibrations. In the study the analysis method used the Monte Carlo probability method and the method used to calculate vibrations with the regression approach and the actual condition of the slope was divided into three sections. Obtained regression equation for predicted value at slope point PPA = 4.0512 (SD)-1.238, for amax value (horizontal acceleration) at the slope point using equation amax = 0.6339 (PPA) - 0.0031, this equation is close to the recommendation of Marcusson with amax of 1/3 and 1/2 of the value (PPA). From the results of the analysis of the effect of vibration on the stability of the slope in section A-A safe conditions, section B-B unsafe conditions, section C-C unsafe conditions. So, in the study recommended a safe slope geometry. For all sections with an overall height between 32 - 51meter and overall slope 33°-39°, height 10meter and width of 5 meters, and vibration safe limit in section A-A is 0.275 g, section B-B 0.152g, section C-C 0.188g.

Abstract

Industri pertambangan merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan manusia. Kegiatan pertambangan harus memperhatikan suatu sistem manajemen yang optimal yang berdasarkan pada azas pembangunan yang berkelanjutan dan berwawasan lingkungan. Kegiatan pertambangan memerlukan perencanaan tambang secara optimal dan menyeluruh. Dalam operasional kegiatan pertambangan sejauh ini menunjukkan penggunaan yang kurang terhadap sistem teknologi informasi (komputerisasi), oleh sebab itu diperlukan sistem informasi teknologi pertambangan yang dapat menyajikan semua aspek perencanaan tambang. Pengelolaan pertambangan dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila didukung dengan informasi data yang lengkap dan akurat untuk membantu administrasi tambang. Abstract

Kegiatan Pertambangan bawah tanah akan selalu dihadapkan pada masalah deformasi dan kestabilan massa batuan di sekitar lubang bukaan bawah tanah yang bersangkutan dengan keselamatan kerja serta lancarnya kegiatan aktifitas penambangan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis geoteknik yang baik untuk dapat memberikan perlakuan yang tepat pada batuan yang dibongkar. Penelitian dilakukan di area Blok Cibitung PT. Cibaliung Sumberdaya Kabupaten Pandeglang Provinsi Banten yang secara geologis mengandung banyak struktur dan pelapukan yang akan menyebabkan ketidakstabilan pada batuan saat operasi penambangan. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut diperlukan suatu kajian geoteknik terhadap kestabilan lubang bukaan, dan sistem penyangga yang digunakan.Analisis kestabilan lubang bukaan menggunakan metode elemen hingga atau finite element method (FEM) dengan kriteria keruntuhan Mohr-Coulomb (1779) untuk mengetahui faktor keamananserta perpindahan totalyang terjadi pada lubang bukaan. Karakteristik material didapat dari hasil pengujian laboratorium terhadap batuan utuh (intact rock). Secara empirik pengklasifikasian menggunakan RMR system menghasilkan nilai 38yangtermasuk dalam batuan kelas IV dengan bukaan aktual 4,7 meter. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai faktor keamanan secara aktual masih kurang dari 1,3 danperpindahan total masih relatif tinggi. Sehingga harus dilakukan pemasangan penyangga yang sesuai dengan upaya peningkatan nilai faktor keamanan agar meningkatkan tingkat kestabilan lubangbukaan sehingga tidak mengganggu aktifitas penambangan.Kata kunci: faktor keamanan, lubangbukaan dan total displacement

Abstract

PT. Aneka Tambang TBK UBPE Pongkor contain of a few minesite. One of that stil running of production is Tambang Kubang Kicau. Needed of fresh air at Tambang Kubang Kicau up to 35.59 m3/s with 21 total of reticulation of fan that spend 1033 kW of power. Many fan that being used at Tambang Kubang Kicau causes by less maintenance of the fans, flexible ducts are break, until mistake of flexible ducts placement,. Repair plan of flexible ducts are done by changing changing flexible ducts and repairing placement so it is neither coinciding nor slicing. For making work more efficience from flexible ducts, at the adjacent mine front can be used a regulator at the flexible duct for setting the airway. At the unuse mine front can be closed by a bulkhead. After the repairment of the mine ventilation system, then amount of fans can be reduced because of fans work more optimal. Amount of the fans after repairment are 17 with 835 kW of the total power. Debt of the fresh air inside of the Tambang Kubang Kicau reach 137 m3/s and the debt of the fresh air at the mine front reach 5.1 m3/s – 6.5 m3/s.

Abstract

Potensi sumber daya dan cadangan bauksit di lokasi izin usaha pertambangan PT. Kapuas Bara Mineral saat ini perlu dioptimalkan sehingga dilakukanlah evaluasi studi kelayakan secara ekonomi maupun teknis. Luas lahan izin usaha pertambangan operasi produksi PT. Kapuas Bara Mineral adalah seluas 9.245 hektar. Estimasi sumberdaya didasarkan pada kondisi mineral dengan ketebalan overburden rata-rata 2 meter didapatkan total volume sebesar 7.319.820 BCM dan ketebalan bauksit rata-rata 6 meter didapatkan cadangan tertambang bauksit sebesar 20.344.000 WMT. Kapasitas produksi setiap tahun ditargetkan sebesar 2.400.000 WMT bauksit tercuci, maka PT. Kapuas Bara Mineral dapat menyuplai bauksit tercuci ke Pabrik Smelter Grade Alumina selama 9 tahun.dengan kadar Al2O3 > 45 % dan faktor konkresi bauksit (CF) 56,78 %. Investasi awal yang telah dikeluarkan dalam membiayai proyek pertambangan bauksit sebesar 7.450.462,85 USD. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis kelayakan ekonomi proyek pertambangan bauksit pada PT. Kapuas Bara Mineral dengan metode Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Pay Back Period (PBP) dengan menggunakan 60% modal sendiri dan 40% modal pinjaman dengan tingkat bunga minimum sebesar 9,57% mempunyai NPV sebesar 44.812.118 USD, IRR sebesar 116,52% dan waktu pengembalian modal sebesar 2,04 tahun.

Abstract

In order to implement the commitment to environmental impact management responsibility for landfill mining activities from 2018 to 2022, the owner of the mining license Tjong Lie Ko has currently carried out his obligations in reclamation activities of ex mining area. The total realized area of ​​land clearing that has been cleared from 2018 to 2022 is 4.75 hectares. The total land clearing consists of a mining area of ​​3.70 hectares and an area of ​​mining infrastructure of about 1.05 hectares. Mining facilities and infrastructure that have been built include mine roads, root zones, sediment ponds, employee housing, offices, and mechanical utilities. The planned reclamation program on ex-mining area that is regrading on ex-mining area, revegetation, regrading on sediment ponds and handling acid mine drainage. Land use of ex-mining area at the location of Tjong Lie Ko's mining license is carried out of converting ex-mining land into plantations and converting settling ponds into plantation ponds and reservoir. The realization of reclamation costs consisted of direct costs of Rp. 59,633,345,- and indirect costs of Rp. 16,399,170,-, so the total cost incurred by Tjong Lie Ko to carry out reclamation in 2018-2022 was Rp. 76,032,515,- .

Abstract

Indikasi perubahan perolehan target harian semakin menurun pada periode Februari – Mei 2019 menyebabkan adanya ketertarikan secara personal membedah lebih jauh anomali tersebut. Anomali ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian secara tahunan DOZ produksi ton per hari, sehingga hal ini berdampak sangat signifikan karena range kehilangan ton dalam kurun waktu februari – mei 2019 sangat variatif yang berkisar 1000 tpd dari rencana produksi harian yakni 37.000 tpd. Anomali tersebut dianggap penting dan butuh kajian detail dengan memperhatikan grafik produksi DOZ per hari dan mencoba melihat lebih dalam mengenai hal penyumbang menurunkan pencapaian tersebut. Adapun terdapat 10 indikator sebagai sumber down time (delay ) penyebab ketidakcapaian yang didominasi oleh aktivitas Ore slide dan Down Stream. Akibat delay maka dampaknya adalah kehilangan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan (lose opportunity) metal price yang sudah di forecast-kan. Kehilangan opportunity ini berkisar untuk Aurum (Au) Rp. 30.105.600.000 per hari dan Cuprum (Cu) sekitar Rp. 3.857.000.000 per hari. Kehilangan opportunity ini terhadap 3 (tiga) bulan sebelumnya (November 2018, Desember 2018 dan Januari 2019) sekitar Rp.33.963.600.000 x 119 hari,- (6.758.557.400.000 Trilyun rupiah) Agar tidak terjadi kehilangan dimasa mendatang dengan acuan forecast yang ada yakni 37.000 tpd maka strategi yang di aplikasikan adalah metode pencampuran (blending method) material kering dengan material basah dianggap cukup applicable dengan tidak mempengaruhi sources yang ada saat ini.
