Abstract

This paper aims to examine the relationship between moral reasoning and academic dishonesty in psychology faculty students at UMA. The problem is focused on academic dishonesty carried out by students. To approach this problem, the theoretical reference from Anderman Murdock (2007) is used that academic dishonesty is any completeness or assistance that is not allowed to be used in academic tasks and or activities that interfere with the assessment process. Data were collected using a Likert scale model with two scales, namely the moral reasoning scale and the academic dishonesty scale which were compiled by researchers and analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study using the product moment cotellation technique showed that there was a significant negative relationship between moral reasoning and academic dishonesty with an rxy value of -0.589 and p = 0.000. The results of this study conclude that the higher the academic dishonesty that is carried out, the lower the moral reasoning possessed by students and according to the results of the data analysis carried out, it is known that the students' moral reasoning is low and the academic dishonesty of students is high.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand how adolescents' social skills relate to their understanding of the meaning of life. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research which aims to analyze the social skills and meaning of life of Madrasah Aliyah X students in Medan City. The research method used was descriptive qualitative by collecting data through interviews with 5 students at Madrasah Aliyah X in Medan City. The research results show that there is a relationship between social skills and understanding the meaning of life in adolescents. The results can provide insight to educators and parents about the importance of developing social skills in helping teenagers live their teenage years better. In addition, this research also provides further understanding of how adolescents respond to social challenges and how this can influence their understanding of life goals. Therefore, the recommendation from this research is the need for a holistic approach in adolescent education which includes the development of social skills and understanding the meaning of life. Apart from that, there needs to be support and guidance from parents and educators in helping teenagers live their teenage years better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan anatara religiusitas dengan forgiveness pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kuantitatif.Metode pengumpulan data yg digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala likert yaitu skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur sikap,pendapat,dan persepsi seseorang atau sekelompok orang tentang fenomena sosial.Dengan skala likert,maka variabel yang akan diukur dijabarkan menjadi indikator variabel.Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 55 Responden mahasisawa fakultas psikologi kelas reguler A.Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data uji kolerasi person product moment. metode deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 66,4% dari faktor lain dari forgiveness yang dijelaskan dalam penelitian dan tidak terlihat penelitian ini. Bahwa mahasiswa memliki religiusitas yang tergolong religiusitas berada di kategori rendah dengan mean emperik = 10,61 mean hipotetik = 65 dimana selisi kedua mean melebihi bilangan SD = 10,61 dan forgiveness pada tergolong rendah mean empirik 9,98 mean hipotetik = 55 dimana selisih kedua mean melebihi bilangan 9,98 . Berdasarkan hasil ini, maka hipotesis yang telah diajukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas dengan perilaku agresif pada siswa/siswi SMK di SMK Negeri 1 Sei Suka. Metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi SMK dengan jumlah 139 orang. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 53 orang sesuai dengan ciri-ciri sampel penelitian. Adapun ciri-ciri utama sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah: Siswa yang memiliki laporan perilaku agresif. Skala diatas disusun berdasarkan skala Likert dengan 4 Pilihan Jawaban, yakni Sangat Setuju, Setuju, Tidak Setuju dan Sangat Tidak Setuju. Selanjutnya skala konformitas disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara Konformitas dengan Perilaku agresi. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,570, dengan Signifikan p= 0,000 0,05. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0.570. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Konformitas berdistribusi sebesar 57,00% terhadap Perilaku agresif. Dalam penelitian ini dapat atau tidak dianalisis secara korelasional product moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa antara variabel Konformitas mempunyai hubungan yang liniear dengan Perilaku agresi. Sebagai kriterianya apabila p beda pada deviation for linierity 0,050.

Abstract

Virus COVID-19 menyebar dengan cepat. Virus ini telah mempengaruhi dunia pendidikan dan menyebabkan beberapa perubahan. Hal ini untuk memutus mata rantai penyebaran COVID-19 sesuai dengan kebijakan pemerintah seperti telecommuting, belajar di rumah, dan beribadah di rumah. Pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan dari jarak jauh dengan menggunakan berbagai media komunikasi. Proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dengan teknologi informasi yang berkembang saat ini, antara lain Google Classes, e-learning, WhatsApp, Zoom dan media informasi lainnya serta jaringan internet (Pakpahan Fitriani, 2020). Kesulitan belajar yang dialami peserta didik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah kendala jaringan yang menyebabkan peserta didik ketinggalan materi pembelajaran, dan banyak tantangan yang membuat peserta didik tidak fokus pada satu hal. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode angket. Peneliti menggunakan sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Studi menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik merasa bahwa pembelajaran jarak jauh tidak efektif dan kehilangan pengalaman mengajar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah metode pembelajaran brainstorming dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan rasa self-confidence siswa. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan dunia pendidikan saat ini. Tempat di mana individu dapat bersaing dengan self-confidence dalam mengungkapkan ide dan gagasannya tanpa takut dikritik. Desain metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran brainstorming diterapkan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan rasa self-confidence siswa yang cocok untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini memberikan siswa kepercayaan diri untuk mengungkapkan pendapat dan ide-ide mereka saat belajar. Tanpa jaminan benar dan salah, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan self-confidence dalam proses pembelajaran. Inti dari brainstorming adalah bahwa tidak peduli seberapa praktis sebuah ide, tampaknya tidak mengkritik ide atau mengganggu aliran pemikiran. Anggota kelompok harus mendorong dan berusaha sendiri untuk mendefinisikan ide-ide mereka. Self-confidence adalah keyakinan akan potensi diri sendiri. Orang yang self-confidenc lebih tertarik dan fokus untuk mengembangkan potensinya.

Abstract

The program "Exploring Talent and Interests through the Hope Foundation and the University of Medan Area" was created to address the challenges faced by students in identifying their potential and determining appropriate career paths. Many students struggle to recognize their interests and talents, making it difficult to choose between continuing education, entering the workforce, or becoming entrepreneurs after graduation. This issue underscores the need for structured guidance and support. The program, collaboration between the Hope Foundation, known for its focus on community empowerment, and the University of Medan Area, aims to provide students with a clear framework to explore and develop their talents. Through workshops, mentoring, and personalized feedback, students gain the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their future. Quantitative data were collected through post-program surveys assessing participants' confidence levels, awareness of their skills, and preparedness for future career paths. Participants rated their experiences on a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5, measuring aspects such as clarity in career direction and engagement with personal interests. Results from the program demonstrate that participants experienced increased confidence in recognizing their abilities and showed greater preparedness for professional and societal contributions. The combination of group discussions, aptitude tests, and mentor evaluations allowed students to objectively measure their progress. The program successfully provided a comprehensive approach to self-development, promoting stronger engagement with individual interests and talents.

Abstract

This study explores the role of psychoeducation in reinforcing moral development and psychological resilience among the residents of Sibanggor Julu Village, Puncak Sorik Marapi District, Mandailing Natal Regency, following a disaster. The research employs a qualitative, naturalistic approach to capture the complexities of community recovery through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured through multiple strategies, including credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The key findings reveal that psychoeducational reinforcement significantly contributed to the villagers’ post-disaster recovery, leading to enhanced optimism, stronger family economic aspirations, increased religiosity, and improved psychological strength. The villagers also exhibited greater positive behavior and a revitalized fighting spirit. Furthermore, the study identifies the importance of structured psychoeducational activities, including professional human resources, ongoing support, and interactive learning methods such as games and environmental education, in fostering moral and psychological growth. Both exogenous factors (e.g., customs, education, environment, media) and endogenous factors (e.g., self-concept, personality) were found to influence the success of these interventions. The study’s findings highlight the effectiveness of psychoeducation in promoting moral development in post-disaster contexts. These insights offer valuable implications for the broader application of psychoeducational models in disaster recovery, suggesting that similar interventions could enhance community resilience and support moral regeneration in other affected areas globally.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to objectively identify and understand some significant Multiple Role Conflict and Job Stress in Career Women:  A Correlational Study at Bank BPTN Syariah . The sample size for this essay is 56 subjects. The entire sampling technique is total sampling. The two scala used in this study's data are double role conflict scale and the work stress scale. The scale of the double-role conflict used the research was made by Greenhaus & Beuthel (Ultaminingsih 2017) and the scale of work stress used by the research was made by Robbins and judge (2011) scale which will be processed with the help of the SPSS version 25 program for windows. The hypothesis in the study is that there is a positive link between a double-role conflict and work stress. The result were proved by hypothetical mean of double role conflict on 30 and work stres on 57,5. then empirical mean of double role conflict on 36,26 and work stres on 64,48. Value of coefficient which the coefficient was 0,446 with p-value significance =0.001<0,05 with a contribution weight of 19,9%. Meaning that the hypothesis proposed is received the higher double role conflict the higher the stress of work is expressed to be accepted. This means that the hypothesis proposed is accepted so that it can be interpreted that there is a positive relationship between multiple role conflict and work stress on women employee at Bank BPTN Syariah Keywords: Double Role Conflic, Work Stres and Women Employee Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara  Konflik Peran Ganda dan Stres Kerja  Pada Wanita Karier:  Sebuah Study Korelasional di Bank BPTN Syariah  . Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 56 pegawai wanita.  Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Skala konflik peran ganda yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang dibuat oleh Greenhaus & Beuthel (dalam Utaminingsih 2017), dan skala stress kerja yang digunakan penelitian ini yang dibuat oleh Robbins dan Judge (2011) yang di olah dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25 for windows. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis korelasi product moment. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan yang positif antara konflik peran ganda dengan stres kerja. Dengan asumsi, semakin tinggi konflik peran ganda maka semakin tinggi stres kerja. Hal ini diketahui dengan melihat mean hipotetik pada variabel konflik peran ganda adalah 30 dan variabel stress kerja 57,5. Kemudian mean empirik untuk konflik peran ganda 36,26 dan stres kerja 64,48. Nilai atau koefisien yaitu 0,446 dengan signifikansi sebesar p=0,001 < 0,05 dengan bobot sumbangan 19,9 %. Artinya hipotesis yang diajukan diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan positif antara konflik peran ganda dengan stres kerja pada pegawai wanita yang bekerja di Bank BPTN Syariah Kata Kunci: Konflik Peran Ganda, Stres Kerja, Wanita Karier
