Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian terapan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan teknik creative arts dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru mengelola perilaku di dalam kelas selama proses pembelajaran. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dan intervensi yang digunakan berbentuk teknik creative arts. FGD dilakukan dengan melibatkan 30 orang peserta yang terdiri dari guru, orang tua dan siswa. Penelitian ini dibagi atas dua kelompok FGD yang beranggotan 15 orang. Teknik Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa tematik kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Teknik creative arts dinilai cukup efektif dan dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kelas. Baik guru di kelas besar dan kecil menjadi lebih responsif, mampu membagi dan memfokuskan perhatian mereka, memberikan petunjuk pembelajaran secara jelas, memberikan penguatan kepada setiap siswa, dan mampu memecahkan permasalahan secara berkelompok dan melakukan modifikasi perilaku dalam proses belajar dan mengajar.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini ada hubungan antara kompetensi kepribadian guru dan reinforcement dengan motivasi belajar siswa di sekolah. Diduga, ada keterkaitan motivasi belajr siswa dengan reinforcement serta kecenderungan perilaku guru dalam memperhatikan siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 11 Medan. Besar sampel yang diambil dari sekolah ini adalah 33 orang guru dengan karakteristik: 6 orang masa kerjanya di bawah 15 tahun, golongan kepangkatan lebih kecil sama dengan 3 dan umur dibawah 45 tahun, sedangkan 27 orang lainnya, masa kerjanya di atas 15 tahun dan umurnya di atas 45 tahun. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi dan regresi ganda. Korelasi variabel kompetensi kepribadian guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa adalah rxly = 0.601 pada alpha 0.00 dan korelasi ini signifikan serta berada pada taraf kuat. Hasil perhitungan R² xly = 0,361. Hal ini berarti bahwa motivasi belajar siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel kompetensi kepribadian guru sebesar 36 %. Korelasi variabel reinforcement dengan motivasi belajar siswa adalah rx2y = 0420. Variabel reinforcement berhubungan secara positif dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Reinforcement dapat menjelaskan variabel motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 42 %. Hasil analisis korelasi ganda antara variabel kompetensi kepribadian guru dan reinforcement terhadap motivasi belajar siswa menunjukkan R² xl,2y = 0,73. Variabel kompetensi kepribadian guru dan reinforcement dapat memberi penjelasan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 73 %. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif kompetensi kepribadian guru dan reinforcement dengan motivasi belajar siswa di SMAN 11 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik peer group terhadap efikasi diri dan self-regulated learning. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian pretest-posttest group design. Sampel penelitian adalah 16 orang mahasiswatingkat II di Akademi Kebidanan (Akbid) Helvetia Medan yang mempunyai tingkat efikasi diri dan self-regulated learningyang tergolong rendah. Untuk memperoleh data mengenai efikasi diri dan self-regulated learning digunakan metode kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data dengan menggunakan Uji 2 Sampel Independen Kolmogorov-Smirnov ditemukan bahwa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik peer group memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan efikasi diri dan self-regulated learning siswa di Akbid Helvetia Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan kecerdasan spiritual dengan perilaku prososial. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Santo Bonaventura Keuskupan Agung Medan, tahun Akademik 2014-2015, yang berjumlah 275 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah sebagian mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Santo Bonaventura Keuskupan Agung Medan yang telah menjalani pendidikan minimal 1 tahun. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportionate stratified random sampling yang menjaring 55 orang mahasiswa sebagai responden penelitian. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala perilaku prososial, skala kecerdasan emosi, dan skala kecerdasan spiritual. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosi dan kecerdasan spiritual dengan perilaku prososial pada mahasiswa calon katekis, ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan perilaku prososial, serta ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan perilaku prososial.

Abstract

Improving the quality of work life in the community, especially in Sumber Melati Diski Village, needs to be done. The purpose of this activity is to provide and strengthen the community to develop themselves and have the ability to cope with stress so that they can achieve a quality work life. The selection of partner locations is based on the needs of the community in Sumber Melati Village to alleviate the stress problem that is carried out through every community activity, both Posyandu, Perwiritan and others. The method is a workshop with creative art techniques. The capacity of the community is strengthened is to know the source of the problem, analyze, create and implement the design of problem alleviation, counseling and play therapy. The results of the mentoring show that people who solve problems with creative techniques can solve their problems personally and make decisions quickly. Furthermore, creative counseling that is carried out in groups can overcome emotional problems and minimize social problems. From this activity it was found that creative techniques in problem solving can minimize stress on the community which can effectively improve the quality of working life in the community of Sumber Melati Diski Village.

Abstract

There were some phenomen that the counselling for kinestetic student did not effective to improve their self confidence. The purpose of this study was to innovate the quality of counseling process through multidimentional model in improving students self confidence. The model was developed based on students’ self confidence. The method used research and development model of Borg and Gall. The procedures conducted were: i) premilinary survey to produce instrument to be used in assesing students’ need; (ii) designing counseling process; (iii) implementing and evaluating data were collected. The results indicated that the multidimentional model in counceling process could improve the students’ self confidence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parenting and gender on AUD independence. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was 75 people and a sample of 75 people, the researchers used a total sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between parenting on independence seen from the coefficient value (r2) which had a value of 0.633 with p or significance 0.000 < 0.050 with the correlation of parenting to independence of 63.3%. Furthermore, it is known that there is a significant influence between gender on independence as seen from the coefficient value (R2) which has a value of 0.038 with p or a significance of 0.006 < 0.050, with the contribution of gender to independence only 3.8%. Simultaneously there is a significant effect between parenting and gender on independence as seen from the coefficient value (R2) which has a value of 0.796 with p or significance 0.000 < 0.050 with the contribution of parenting and gender to independence of 63.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental support and self regulation with learning responsbilitiies in SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe students. The research approach is quantitative with the type of correlational research. The population of this research is the student of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe, totaling 330 student. The research sample used the Slovin formula with a sample size of 181 people. The independent variables in this study were parental support and self regulation, while the dependent variable was learning responsibility. The research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe in november 2021. The research data collection technique used a scale. The data analysis technique used the statistical test of the SPSS 26 program. Based of the results of the Pearson correlation calculation, the results of the relationship between parental support and learning responsibility rx1y were 0.379 and the relationship between self regulation and learning responsibility rx2y was 0.387. The results of multiple regression analysis show that the F test count 18.985 > F table 3.046, accept Ha reject H0 that is, there is a simultaneous relationship between parental support, self regulation and learning responsibilies in SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe student rx1,2y of 0.419. it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parental support and self regulation of 41.9% on student learning responsibilities. It is recomended for parents to pay attention and support their children. Furthermore, students of SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe can organize themselves and be responsible for laerning.

Abstract

Teaching Planning in Learning Activities. This discussion discusses how the stages of implementing learning activities. Seeing how the implications of teaching planning in learning activities. This research method was carried out by library research with a pedagogic approach. The research results yielded two important points in the implementation of learning planning. First, preparation in planning learning activities. This activity includes looking at the characteristics and conditions that surround students, understanding the characteristics of students, understanding learning styles and abilities, and teacher competencies. Second, activities in teaching planning, including developing syllabus and preparing Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) in the implementation of teaching and learning activities. Implementation of planning activities in teaching activities that interact with the activities of how teachers teach and how students learn. This teaching activity is realized in planning. In the implementation of learning activities contain three important things, namely planning, implementation and evaluation, as well as teaching. The teacher should make preparations before carrying out the learning process. Teachers are expected to have maximum planning in learning activities and be able to provide results in improving the quality and quality of learning.

Abstract

This study attempts to explore the system approach in school entrepreneurship management in Vocational High Schools (VHS). Although the government has made attempts to promote entrepreneurship, little progress has been made. Thus, it is possible to observe how the approach of running educational institutions with the idea of entrepreneurship is encouraging for schools and students to make the most of their potential. This qualitative study included five Vocational High Schools implementing the entrepreneurship-based school program and the data was collected via documentation. The data analysis activity was carried out throughout the research activity, and the most core activities include data simplification, data display and conclusions drawing. This study revealed that the system approach of developing school entrepreneurship in Vocational High Schools included the preparation stage (P), the planning stage (P), implementation stage (I), and the marketing stage (M). In order to develop an entrepreneurship-based school, the school must overcome a number of challenges, including external partners issues, funding issues, human resources issues, infrastructure issues, marketing issues, and momentum issues.
