Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the modern era requires micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt in order to remain competitive, particularly in the area of marketing and information dissemination. Abon Dua Saudara MSME, which has operated for over twenty years in the food processing sector, faces challenges related to limited promotional media, resulting in low public awareness of its products. This community service activity aims to strengthen the visual identity of Abon Dua Saudara MSME through the design and development of promotional banners using CorelDraw. The method employed in this program includes needs assessment, design training, and direct assistance in creating effective and visually appealing banners. The activity focuses on improving participants’ skills in utilizing digital design tools to produce promotional media that are informative, attractive, and aligned with the business identity. The results of this program indicate an improvement in the MSME’s capability to create independent promotional materials, as well as an enhanced visual identity that supports broader market reach. In conclusion, the implementation of banner design activities contributes positively to strengthening the branding and promotional effectiveness of Abon Dua Saudara MSME. This initiative is expected to increase public awareness and support the sustainability and growth of the business.

Abstract

Sales forecasting plays a critical role in supporting effective inventory management, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the coffee sector, where demand exhibits fluctuating patterns over time. Inaccurate demand estimation may lead to stock shortages, resulting in lost sales opportunities, or overstocking, which increases holding costs and product waste. Therefore, a reliable and accurate forecasting model is required to support optimal inventory planning and operational efficiency. This study aims to develop and implement a sales forecasting model using the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method and to evaluate its predictive accuracy. The WMA method, as a time series approach, assigns different weights to historical data, emphasizing more recent observations to better capture short-term trends. Historical coffee sales data were utilized as the basis for model development. Forecast accuracy was evaluated using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicate that the WMA model provides a high level of accuracy, with a forecast value of approximately 22,914 units for the subsequent period and a MAPE value of 0.29% using weight parameters of 0.7, 0.2, and 0.1. This level of accuracy is categorized as very high, demonstrating that the proposed model is effective and reliable for supporting inventory decision-making and improving operational performance in SMEs.

Abstract

Lombok Barat Regency, located on Lombok Island, frequently experiences water scarcity due to its semi-arid climate and prolonged dry seasons. Agricultural and plantation activities in this region rely heavily on limited freshwater resources, particularly in dryland areas. Meanwhile, mosques continuously generate relatively clean greywater from daily ablution (wudu) activities. Despite its regular availability and relatively low contamination level, this resource remains largely underutilized. This study examines the spatial planning of mosque-based wudu water collection networks in West Lombok as a potential supplementary water source for plantation and dryland irrigation. A spatial analytical framework combining K-Means clustering and the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) algorithm was applied and implemented through an interactive RShiny application. Spatial data from 940 mosques were preprocessed and analyzed. K-Means clustering at Level 1 grouped mosques into 25 local service clusters, while Level 2 clustering aggregated these clusters into five main reservoir zones. A cost-weighted MST based on Haversine distance was then used to estimate the minimum pipeline length required to connect mosques within the proposed network configuration. The results show that the modeled network connects all 940 mosques with a minimum total pipeline length of 411,757.28 meters and could potentially collect approximately 282,000 liters of reusable wudu water per day. However, the model represents a preliminary spatial planning framework and does not include hydraulic simulations, water quality validation, treatment system design, or operational feasibility assessment.
