Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) pada proyek pembangunan Masjid Eco 2 Daarut Tauhiid Bandung, dengan tujuan mengurangi risiko kecelakaan di sektor konstruksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan mixed method. Secara kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner Likert terhadap 45 pekerja. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesadaran dan pengetahuan pekerja mengenai K3 belum optimal, meskipun sebagian besar telah memahami dasar-dasar K3. Pelatihan intensif dan berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pekerja terhadap prosedur keselamatan. Implementasi K3 di proyek ini menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan peralatan yang memadai dan kurangnya pemahaman yang mendalam terkait prosedur K3. Hambatan ini menjadi kendala utama dalam mencapai standar keselamatan yang diharapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, direkomendasikan adanya peningkatan berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan rutin, penyediaan peralatan yang sesuai standar, dan penerapan teknologi keselamatan yang lebih modern. Diharapkan langkah ini dapat membantu mencapai target “zero accident,” mengurangi risiko kecelakaan, dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan efisien. Evaluasi juga dibandingkan dengan indikator Prinsip Dasar Sistem Manajemen K3 yang menurut Pasal 3 Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja No.05/MEN/1996 sebagai acuan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan penerapan SMK3 di proyek konstruksi serupa, khususnya untuk fasilitas publik seperti masjid. Studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan K3 dan pengadaan alat pelindung diri yang memadai. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam penguatan implementasi SMK3 pada proyek konstruksi skala menengah.

Abstract

This study analyzes the feasibility of using concrete and asphalt roads using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data were obtained from respondents’ assessments of technical, economic, and operational factors. The results show that concrete roads are superior in terms of resistance to weather conditions, ground movement, and traffic load variations, while asphalt roads perform better in surface comfort and ease of construction. The recommendations include considering initial costs, maintenance requirements, and environmental conditions in selecting the appropriate type of road. This research focuses on developing an AHP-based model to evaluate which road construction type, concrete or asphalt, has better overall feasibility. The AHP model development consists of three main steps: hierarchy construction, assessment, and priority synthesis. The assessment results for each factor indicate that, in terms of resistance to weather conditions, concrete is six times superior to asphalt; in resistance to ground movement, concrete is five times superior; and in resistance to traffic load changes, concrete is 5.5 times superior. In terms of surface comfort, asphalt is 5.5 times superior to concrete; in ease of construction, asphalt is five times superior; in maintenance period, concrete is five times superior; in resource availability, asphalt is three times superior; and in cost, asphalt is twice as economical as concrete. The final assessment based on weighting, as reflected in the VA21 vector, indicates that asphalt construction is slightly more feasible than concrete construction, as shown by the higher eigenvalue for asphalt (0.529) compared to concrete (0.472).

Abstract

Biaya dan waktu pada sebuah proyek diperlukan adanya analisa secara terpadu, sehingga diharapkan dapat dengan akurat memperlihatkan presentasi suatu pekerjaan pada saat pelaporan, serta membuat perkiraan berupa total biaya dan waktu yang diperlukan sampai proyek tersebut selesai. Pembangunan Rumah Sakit Intan Husada Garut mengalami keterlambatan waktu, dan proyek mundur dari kesepakatan kontrak awal yang mengakibatkan kerugian waktu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis waktu penyelesaian proyek Pembangunan Rumah Sakit Intan Husada Garut secara mingguan selama periode 49 minggu pelaksanaan, serta untuk mengevaluasi jadwal sesuai dengan rencana awal proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Earned Value Analysis (EVA) dalam memperkirakan waktu penyelesaian proyek secara mingguan serta mengevaluasi sejauh mana jadwal aktual sesuai dengan rencana awal. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu pada minggu ke-1 sampai pada minggu ke-10 nilai SV positif artinya proyek selesai dengan cepat, pada minggu ke-11 (nilai SV -Rp 41,580,000.00), minggu ke-12 (nilai SV -Rp 383,460,000.00), minggu ke-13 (nilai SV -Rp 369,600,000.00), minggu ke-14 (nilai SV -Rp 498,960,000.00) negatif artinya proyek telah terjadi keterlambatan. Kemudian terjadi percepatan pekerjaan pada minggu ke-15 sampai pada minggu ke-25 dan kembali terlambat pada minggu ke-26 sampai minggu ke-49. Perkiraan waktu penyelesaian berdasarkan minggu ke-1 proyek akan selesai selama 74 hari, yang artinya terjadi percepatan pekerjaan selama 269 hari. Jika perkiraan penyelesaian berdasar pada minggu ke-35 maka pekerjaan akan selesai selama 385 hari, yang menunjukan pekerjaan mengalami keterlambatan selama 42 hari.

Abstract

Construction management plays a crucial role in construction activities, particularly as the industry continues to grow rapidly. Construction management involves multidisciplinary organizations or individuals who systematically and measurably apply the POAC functions (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling). This study aims to analyze the performance of construction management in the Intan Husada Hospital project in Garut Regency, West Java, using the POAC approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents involved in the project. The results indicate that the Actuating factor has the highest influence with an average score of 3.40, followed by the Controlling factor with an average score of 3.38. These findings highlight the critical importance of effective implementation in improving construction management performance.

Abstract

Construction projects often face challenges such as inadequate planning, low workforce competence, and ineffective project manager leadership, which can result in schedule delays, cost overruns, and declining project quality. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, project manager leadership, and labor productivity on the success of the Hotel Rancabango Convention Center construction project in Garut Regency. A quantitative approach was applied using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from 65 respondents through questionnaires using purposive sampling techniques. The F-test results show an F-value of 16.761 with a p-value of 0.000, indicating that project manager competence and leadership have a significant effect, while labor productivity does not have a significant effect on project success. The study concludes that improving competence and strengthening the leadership role of project managers are key factors in achieving construction project success. These findings can be used as a reference for project management strategy planning and for policies aimed at improving human resource quality in the construction sector.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects in Garut Regency, the role of human resources is critically important. Human resources are one of the main factors determining the success or failure of a construction project. Project quality and productivity are highly dependent on human resource aspects, namely competence, motivation, and work discipline of the workforce involved. This study aims to determine the extent to which competence, motivation, and work discipline influence the performance of construction project workers. The research employs a quantitative method, with multiple linear regression analysis as the analytical approach. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 29. The results of the partial t-test indicate that competence does not have a significant effect on worker performance (t-value 0.278 < t-table 2.056), while motivation has a significant effect on performance (t-value 3.292 > t-table 2.056), and work discipline also has a significant effect on performance (t-value 3.141 > t-table 2.056). Simultaneously, competence, motivation, and work discipline collectively have a significant influence on the performance of construction project workers.

Abstract

The construction project of the BNN Bandung City Office Building involves high-risk activities such as superstructure works, mechanical–electrical–plumbing (MEP) installations, and wastewater treatment plant (IPAL) installations. These activities have the potential to cause occupational accidents if proper control measures are not implemented. This study aims to identify Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3) hazards based on Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents and to analyze risk levels using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. The research method utilizes secondary data in the form of project JSA documents, which are analyzed through the stages of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control recommendations. Risk levels are determined by multiplying likelihood and severity values and are then classified into low, medium, and high categories in accordance with HIRARC standards. The results show that the identified hazards include falls from height, being struck by materials, slips, electrical hazards, chemical exposure, and confined space risks. Most risks fall into the medium to high categories. In superstructure works, high risk mainly arises from working at height. In MEP works, dominant risks are related to electrical hazards. Meanwhile, in IPAL works, high risk is identified in confined spaces with potential gas exposure. In conclusion, the majority of hazards in this project are categorized as medium to high risk, indicating that risk control efforts should be focused on superstructure, MEP, and IPAL activities in accordance with applicable OHS regulations.

Abstract

Design changes (change orders) are a common challenge in construction projects because they can affect cost, schedule, and quality. This study aims to identify the types of design changes, their causal factors, and their impacts on cost and schedule performance using the Earned Value Management (EVM) approach. A case study was conducted on the renovation project of the BTN Bank KCP Sepaku Building, which experienced 14 Site Instructions (SI) and 1 Contract Change Order (CCO). The results show that design changes occurred in architectural, structural, and MEP works, leading to additional work volumes, rework, and adjustments to work sequencing. The main contributing factors include discrepancies between existing site conditions and design drawings, additional requirements from the owner, delays in design approvals, and adjustments to technical regulations. EVM analysis indicates that the project experienced deviations in the second week, with an SPI of 0.78 and a CPI of 0.95, indicating schedule delays and cost inefficiency. However, from weeks four to seven, performance gradually improved, and the final EAC was recorded at IDR 3,662,040,000, equal to the BAC, meaning the project was completed on time without cost overruns. The study recommends thorough design verification at the early stages, cross-party coordination, and EVM-based control to minimize deviation risks in similar projects. The practical implication of this research is to provide guidance for contractors and project managers in implementing cost and schedule control strategies when facing design changes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit on the accuracy of structural Quantity Take-Off (QTO) in the Abelia Resto & Gallery project. Detail Engineering Design (DED) data and the Cost Budget Plan (RAB) were modeled in Revit 2024 to generate volume and cost estimates for concrete and reinforcement, which were then compared with manual calculation results. The results show that the average volume deviation is below 5%, except for the gallery foundation (-15.32%) and the restaurant floor slab (-9.60%). Concrete cost estimates generated using Revit are lower than those obtained through manual methods, with deviations of -4.65% for the restaurant and -1.57% for the gallery, while reinforcement costs decreased for the restaurant (-9.68%) and increased for the gallery (3.82%). These differences are caused by the quality of input data, the level of modeling detail, and differences in assumptions used in manual methods. The study concludes that Revit-BIM is capable of improving the accuracy and efficiency of the QTO process for structural works, although field verification is still required to ensure conformity with actual site conditions. This research recommends the use of Revit-BIM as the primary supporting tool for project cost estimation, particularly at the early planning stage, to improve quantity accuracy and calculation time efficiency.

Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja masih menjadi tantangan utama di sektor konstruksi karena kompleksitas pekerjaan, penggunaan alat berat, dan tingginya potensi bahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi bahaya, tingkat risiko, dan efektivitas pengendalian pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Rumah Sakit Tunas Suvarna Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan Job Safety Analysis (JSA) dan Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, studi dokumentasi, dan konfirmasi dengan tim HSE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap jenis pekerjaan konstruksi yang ditinjau memiliki potensi bahaya signifikan, terutama pada pekerjaan galian, bekisting, pengecoran, serta penggunaan tower crane. Setelah dilakukan pengendalian melalui rekayasa teknik, kontrol administratif, dan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), tingkat risiko dapat diturunkan secara signifikan, dengan risiko ekstrem dan tinggi berhasil di eliminasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi JSA dan HIRADC efektif dalam mengidentifikasi bahaya sekaligus merumuskan strategi pengendalian yang sesuai dengan kondisi lapangan.
