Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of PAUD institutions that are not optimal in implementing learning, especially in inclusion-based PAUD institutions. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy for implementing learning through play activities at the Anna Husada Inclusion PAUD school. The subjects in this study were Anna Husada's early childhood education staff and students. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study approach. The main data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis for this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion, as well as recall or validation. The data validation techniques were extended participation, observer persistence, and triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of Anna Husada PAUD inclusive school learning used the central learning model strategy. Play activities that are packaged in the center learning model aim for children to be able to play with a feeling of calm, mingle with their friends and accept each other between normal good friends and those with special needs.

Abstract

Penggunaan aplikasi selama masa luring saat era new normal masih tetap dilakukan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran pada jenjang PAUD. Aplikasi tersebut salah satunya aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk pemahaman materi pembelajaran pada anak usia dini, misalnya aplikasi tentang permainan tradisional. Perlunya permainan tradisional yang dikenalkan pada anak usia dini, yaitu saalh satu tujuannya untuk memperkenalkan budaya pada anak usia dini.Aplikasi ini berisi tentang permainan tradisional yang memuat aspek perkembangan, yaitu perkembangan kognitif. Penggunaan aplikasi ini memerlukan peran guru dalam mengarahkan saat anak bermain aplikasi. Peran guru salah dalam mendampingi saat anak menggunakan aplikasi permainan tradisional dapat berfungsi menjadi pengamat, serta dapat mengevaluasi perkembangan anak yang terkait dengan aplikasi permainan tradisional ini.

Abstract

Traditional game isan ancestral heritage that deserves to be preserved as a form of appreciation for the insights of Nusantara. Traditional games have almost the same characteristics among regions in Nusantara. Traditional games are increasingly disappearing, making us as educators have a part to play in preserving them through learning activities in the classroom. Therefore, traditional games must continue to be developed into application-based games. The research method used in this study used a development research approach with ten research stages. The subject of this study included the Kindergarten unit on the south coast of Bangkalan Regency, which applies traditional games in learning. The study results showed that the digital game developed was feasible and required revision to perfect the application. The results of the trials carried out in the three settings also showed Good criteria, so this application is suitable for use in learning in children aged 4-5 years at school or home.

Abstract

Guru adalah sosok yang penting di dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru sebagai fasilitator serta pendidik yang memberikan pembelajaran di kelas. Banyak faktor yang diperlukan dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran di kelas, salah satunya pemahaman tentang gaya belajar siswa. Pembelajaran di kelas lebih lancar jika guru dapat memahami gaya belajar siswa. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan seminar kepada guru di SMPN 4 Kamal tentang gaya belajar siswa berbasis kearifan lokal. Kearifan lokal dijadikan sebagai kerangka dalam pembelajaran siswa SMPN 4 Kamal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu observasi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian diikuti oleh 20 orang peserta dari guru SMPN 4 Kamal. Tolak ukur dari keberhasilan seminar dilakukan dalam bentuk soal pretest dan posttest dari pemahaman materi yang disampaikan narasumber. Hasil yang didapat dalam pengabdian ini yaitu peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap gaya belajar dengan rata-rata semula 66.5 menjadi 91.5 serta peningkatan pemahaman tentang kearifan lokal dengan rata-rata semula 70 menjadi 89.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kepercayaan diri anak yang memiliki orangtua disabilitas di sekolah, serta peran guru dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak. Menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sebagai subjek penelitian yakni dua orang anak di TKM NU 126 Ujungpangkah Gresik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kurangnya kepercayaan diri anak di sekolah dalam keberanian untuk bertindak, dimana anak selalu menghindari kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan oranglain. Sementara 2) Peran guru dalam mengembangkan kepercayaan diri anak disekolah dilakukan dengan pemberian bimbingan untuk anak yang sedang dalam kesulitan, pemberian motivasi agar anak dapat melewati kesulitan yang dihadapi, dan menjadi inspirasi agar anak bertidak penuh percaya diri dalam bersikap disekolah. Hambatan dalam proses meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pada anak yaitu keterbatasan peralatan, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian didapati peran guru disekolah dapat membatu anak dalam mengatasi kepercayaan dirinya dilingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui media pembelajaran berbahan dasar jagung dalam meningkatkan pengenalan bilangan di usia 4-5 tahun. Media pembelajaran yang sering ditemui pada lembaga PAUD menggunakan media yang berupa gambar, poster, flashcard, dan sejenisnya untuk mengenalkan bilangan pada anak. Pemanfaatan bahan alam pun kurang terlihat pada lembaga PAUD. Dengan adanya masalah tersebut peneliti ingin mengetahui secara lebih dalam mengenai media pembelajaran berbahan alam yang digunakan untuk pengenalan bilangan pada anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah para pendidik kelas TK A di PAUD Anna Husada Bangkalan. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan studi pendahuluan dengan melakukan observasi, melakukan wawancara kepada guru kelas, dan menganalisis data yang diperoleh.

Abstract

The challenges faced by early-age children in recognizing numbers and geometric shapes in Madura have been a significant concern. This study aims to investigate the NakKanak Penter media in stimulating the recognition of numbers and geometric shapes among 4-5-year-old children. This research falls under the category of Research and Development. The data in this research and development study comprise both qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation. Quantitative data were obtained from research respondents, including subject matter experts, media specialists, cultural experts, and users of educational media. The analysis of this study primarily employs quantitative data analysis. The results of this research indicate that the NakKanak Penter media, which is based on corn as the primary material, aligns with the characteristics of the research location, where corn cultivation is prevalent. This media is deemed suitable for use in introducing numbers and geometric shapes to children. This study contributes by providing the NakKanak Penter media as an alternative medium for early-age children's education in numbers and geometric shapes.

Abstract

The utilization of corn waste in education, particularly in early childhood education, offers various benefits, including the development of learning media. This study aims to analyze the use of corn waste in stimulating symbolic thinking skills in children aged 5-6 years. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects include children from group B and educators at TK Muslimat NU Siti Fatimah Bangkalan. Data collection techniques encompass passive participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the model developed by Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that symbolic thinking skills can be stimulated using magazines, posters, and educational toys. Additionally, corn waste media also stimulate children's symbolic thinking skills by utilizing corn kernels, husks, and cobs. This study provides an alternative child-friendly medium by leveraging natural resources such as corn to stimulate symbolic thinking in early childhood. Therefore, this research aids educators in developing affordable and environmentally friendly learning media. The use of corn waste not only offers a creative solution in learning but also supports environmental conservation efforts through the use of readily available natural materials. Using corn kernels, husks, and cobs as learning media demonstrates that materials often considered waste can have significant value in the educational context. Consequently, it is crucial for educators to continuously seek and develop innovative and sustainable learning media, harnessing the potential of local resources available in their surroundings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan visual spasial anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun di TK Sidorejo 2 Ngawi. Fasilitias media pembelajaran yang minim sehingga peneliti mengembangkan media yang berjudul BUBOP (Busy Book Puzzle) Menstimulus Kemampuan Visual Spasial Anak yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) dengan model penelitian Borg and Gall. Indikator usia dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Sidorejo 2 Ngawi dengan jumlah subjek 25 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (ahli materi, ahli media pembelajaran), lembar observasi respon anak dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mennunjukkan bahwa nilai yang diperoleh media BUBOP dari ahli materi dengan persentase sebesar 88% dengan ketentuan “valid”, dari ahli media pembelajaran tahap 1 dengan persentase sebesar 69% dan tahap 2 sebesar 84%. Uji lapangan awal persentase sebesar 81% dengan ketentuan “menarik”, uji lapangan utama dengan persentase sebesar 85% dengan ketentuan “menarik”, uji lapangan skala besar dengan persentase sebesar 90% dengan ketentuan “menarik”. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi untuk mengetahui media BUBOP (Busy Book Puzzle) dalam menstimulus kemampuan visual spasial anak. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa alternatif media dalam stimulasi kemampuan visual anak usia dini.

Abstract

Teachers at SMPN 4 Kamal in supporting the independent curriculum need the latest knowledge about the characteristics of students with local knowledge in the technological era. In terms of skills in the field of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT), teachers already have a basis in operating computers, but teachers are still less than optimal in their skills and producing ICT-based learning media works that are tailored to students' characters, animated and interactive. The aim of this training activity is to improve ICT skills and produce learning media that suits the learning styles of students at SMPN 4 Kamal using the iSpring application. In implementing this activity, training/workshop and mentoring methods are applied. The results of this training are that the dominant learning style of SMPN 4 Kamal students is visual, training teachers' skills in creating and designing their own learning media by utilizing technology and communication (ICT) through the iSpring application which suits the learning styles of students at SMPN 4 Kamal, producing products digital-based adaptive learning mediausing iSpring for each teacher according to their respective subjects. This training activity is really needed by teachers as a supporter of increasing the quality of education.
