Abstract

Inclusive education has become a focus of attention in supporting the successful learning of all students, including those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Children with ADHD face special challenges in managing their attention, impulsivity, and energy, requiring appropriate learning approaches. This research aims to investigate and identify the optimal implementation of an inclusive approach in supporting the learning of children with ADHD in elementary schools. Qualitative research methods were used to explore the experiences of educators, school staff, and parents in facing the learning challenges of children with ADHD. The results show that inclusive approaches implemented in elementary schools can play a key role in creating a supportive learning environment for children with ADHD.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using picture story media on the ability to read aloud to class II students at MIT Al-Fuad, Tangerang City. The research approach used is quantitative, Quasi Experimental, Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used was a performance test of the ability to read aloud. Data analysis used the SPSS Version 22 application. The results of the posttest class hypothesis test calculation showed a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.015 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of picture story media influences the ability to read aloud to class II students at MIT Al-Fuad, Tangerang City. Keywords: Picture Story Media, Reading Aloud.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai bagaimana aspek kognitif pada pendidikan jasmani di kelas IV. Menggunakan metode deskriptif mengenai fenomena-fonomena di lingkungan sekolah. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, guru dan peserta didik, guru sebagai informan ke dua dalam permasalahan aspek kognitif pendidikan jasmani. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aspek kognitif pada pendidikan jasmani diawali dengan perencanaan dan pelaksanaanya. Pengimplementasian aspek kognitif pada pendidikan jasamani menggunakan metode yang dimiliki oleh guru salah sataunya melakukan kemampuan pengetahuan peserta didik sampai ke tingkat evaluasi. Aspek kognitif yang ditekankan pada pembelajaran pendidikan jasamni yaitu tidak saja menyangkut penguasaan pengetahuan faktual semata-mata, tetapi meliputi pula pemahaman terhadap gejala gerak dan prinsipnya. Masalahnya masih kurang minat dan motivasi.

Abstract

Basic reading skills are essential for success in further education. However, it has been found that many students at Jati Mulya Public Elementary School in Tangerang Regency are still unable to read fluently or recognise letters. This study aims to analyze the inhibiting factors in early reading instruction for first-grade students at SDN Jati Mulya, Tangerang Regency. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results reveal four main factors hindering students' early reading ability: low memory capacity, lack of reading interest, insufficient parental guidance, and low self-confidence when reading aloud. These findings are supported by observations and interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as reading tests based on five indicators: syllable reading, reading attitude and engagement, intonation, fluency, and letter recognition. The study concludes that both internal and external factors significantly impact students’ reading development. Collaboration between teachers, parents, and the school environment is essential to overcome these barriers and improve students’ foundational reading skills.

Abstract

This research aims to describe speaking skills through the use of picture storybooks in Indonesian language subjects for class IV students at Belendung Elementary School, Tangerang City. This research is qualitative research with subjects of 9 students in class IV and class IV teachers. The techniques used to collect data are observation, interviews with fourth grade teachers and students, tests, documentation and data analysis which is carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. So it can be concluded that this research shows that speaking skills through the use of picture story books in class IV students are quite good, on the 5 indicators assessed, namely; pronunciation, intonation, fluency, expression, and accuracy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between learning discipline and learning achievement of fourth grade students. This study was conducted at SDN Karawaci 3, Tangerang City. The method used is a quantitative survey method. The sample in this study was all fourth grade students of SDN Karawaci 3, Tangerang City, totaling 48. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, data analysis using SPSS version 27. The results of the calculation of the values ​​of  and  then = 3,292> = 1.677, it can be concluded that  is rejected and is accepted at  = 0.406, meaning that learning discipline has a significant relationship with the learning achievement of fourth grade students of SDN Karawaci 3, Tangerang City.

Abstract

Children with intellectual disabilities experience difficulties in intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior, which impact language development, both receptive and expressive. Language skills play a crucial role in supporting communication, social interaction, and children's learning success. Therefore, language development assessment is a crucial step in accurately identifying the abilities, obstacles, and learning needs of children with intellectual disabilities. This study aims to examine language development assessment in children with intellectual disabilities through a qualitative descriptive approach based on literature studies and empirical findings from special education practices. The results of the study indicate that systematic and ongoing language assessment can provide a comprehensive picture of children's language abilities, thus serving as a basis for developing individual learning programs and appropriate interventions. Therefore, language development assessment plays a strategic role in improving the quality of educational services for children with intellectual disabilities. Abstrak Anak tunagrahita mengalami hambatan dalam fungsi intelektual dan perilaku adaptif yang berdampak pada perkembangan bahasa, baik bahasa reseptif maupun ekspresif. Kemampuan bahasa memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang komunikasi, interaksi sosial, serta keberhasilan pembelajaran anak. Oleh karena itu, asesmen perkembangan bahasa menjadi langkah krusial untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan, hambatan, dan kebutuhan belajar anak tunagrahita secara akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji asesmen perkembangan bahasa pada anak tunagrahita melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif berbasis studi literatur dan temuan empiris dari praktik pendidikan khusus. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen bahasa yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan dapat memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai kemampuan bahasa anak, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar penyusunan program pembelajaran individual dan intervensi yang sesuai. Dengan demikian, asesmen perkembangan bahasa memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan bagi anak tunagrahita.
