Abstract

This research aims to develop an efficient and effective web-based Student Development Contribution (SPP) payment information system and test its performance in enhancing the speed, accuracy, and precision of SPP payment report generation. The Agile methodology is employed for system development, emphasizing flexibility and adaptability to address potential future requirements. The findings indicate successful development of the web-based SPP payment information system. The conducted tests confirm its ability to deliver optimal performance, safeguard sensitive data effectively, and function in accordance with specified requirements. The system enhances administrative efficiency in SPP payment processes at educational institutions by ensuring accurate data management, swift payment processing, and responsiveness to changing needs.

Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of financial literacy, digital financial literacy, financial attitudes, and hedonistic lifestyles on financial behavior with self-efficacy and locus of control as mediating variables. The study used qualitative approach with survey design involving 200 students at State University of Makassar. Data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicated that financial literacy, digital financial literacy, and hedonistic lifestyle significantly influence to self-efficacy. In contrast, financial attitude does not have a statistically significant effect on self-efficacy. Furthermore, financial literacy, digital financial literacy, and financial attitude significantly influence to locus of control, while hedonistic lifestyle does not exert a meaningful influence on this construct. Concerning financial behavior, both of financial literacy and financial attitude show significant direct effect, whereas digital financial literacy and hedonistic lifestyle do not exhibit significant direct relationships. In addition, self-efficacy has a significant effect on financial behavior, while locus of control does not significantly predict this outcome. The mediation analysis indicates that only hedonistic lifestyle has a significant indirect effect on financial behavior through self-efficacy, whereas other indirect effect through self-efficacy and locus of control are not statistically significant. These findings suggest that self-efficacy functions as a more salient psychological mechanism than locus of control in connecting cognitive determinants and lifestyle orientation to financial behavior. This study's will contribute to the theoretical literature by clarifying the differential role of self-efficacy and locus of control. It offers practical implications, emphasizing that improving students’ financial behavior requires strengthening their confidence in financial decision-making and enhancing financial literacy.

Abstract

Persaingan dunia kerja saat ini menuntut mahasiswa tingkat akhir untuk memiliki kesiapan karier (career readiness) yang matang sejak berada dibangku perkuliahan. Karena itu, pengabdian kepada masyakarat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kesiapan karier mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis Universitas Negeri Makassar melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi yang inovatif berbasis web/platform yang Bernama “Digital Career Kit”. Aplikasi ini diintegrasikan sebagai meida intervensi digital yang nantinya memuat enam fitur utama didalam platform tersebut diantaranya, Peta Karier lulusan, Panduan CV, Tips Wawancara Kerja, Informasi Lowongan kerja & Magang, Asesemen Kesiapan Karier, serta Layanan Konsultasi terkait kesiapan karier. Adapun metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perisapan (analisis kebutuhan), tahap pelaksanaan (sosialisasi interaktif da demosntrasi langsung), serta tahap evaluasi kualitatif yang berbasi deskriptif berdasarkan dnamika kelompok dan umpan balik dari peserta dalam pengabdian ini. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Digital Career Kit ini mampu membuka pola pikir mahasiswa yang tadinya pasif terhadap kesiapan karier dan mengalami kecemasan karier (job hunting anxiety) menjadi lebih terarah, terstruktur, dan memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi terhadap kariernya (career self efficacy). Dalam hal ini, dokumen dan instrumen yang terhubung atau terintegrasi dalam satu akses digital ini berhasil memudahkan mahasiswa dalam memetakan potensi dirinya dan merencanakan Langkah kariernya secara mandiri setelah lulus dari Porgram studi administrasi Bisnis Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) memberikan peluang strategis bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi kerja, serta inovasi bisnis di era transformasi digital. Namun, masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang belum memahami secara optimal pemanfaatan Generative AI untuk mendukung aktivitas usaha, seperti pembuatan konten promosi, penyusunan deskripsi produk, pengelolaan ide bisnis, pelayanan pelanggan, hingga perencanaan strategi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam menggunakan Generative AI sebagai alat bantu produktivitas dan inovasi bisnis. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan peserta, sosialisasi konsep dasar Generative AI, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi berbasis AI, praktik langsung penyusunan konten bisnis, serta evaluasi pemahaman peserta melalui pre-test dan post-test. Materi pelatihan difokuskan pada pemanfaatan Generative AI untuk menghasilkan ide promosi, membuat caption media sosial, menyusun strategi pemasaran, merancang deskripsi produk yang menarik, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan sederhana dalam pengelolaan usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai fungsi, manfaat, dan penerapan Generative AI dalam kegiatan bisnis UMKM. Selain itu, peserta mampu menghasilkan berbagai output digital yang relevan dengan kebutuhan usaha masing-masing. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berkontribusi dalam mendorong literasi teknologi, peningkatan produktivitas, dan penguatan daya saing UMKM melalui pemanfaatan teknologi Generative AI secara praktis, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) deeply understand the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon in ready-to-drink coffee consumption among young people in Makassar City, and (2) explore how FOMO shapes consumption behavior patterns in social contexts and social media use. The theoretical framework encompasses consumer behavior theory, FOMO in social psychology, and the influence of social media on purchasing decisions. This research employs a descriptive phenomenological qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with 16 informants aged 17–29 years in Makassar. Thematic analysis was applied. Results show: first, FOMO manifests as a real and significant phenomenon in ready-to-drink coffee consumption, expressed through curiosity toward viral products, impulse to follow trends, and fear of being left out of social experiences; second, FOMO shapes consumption patterns through three main mechanisms social media trends (Instagram and TikTok as amplifiers), peer group pressure, and the need for social identity and existence. The convenience of ready-to-drink format serves as a catalyst shortening the distance between FOMO-driven impulse and actual purchase. The novelty lies in qualitative exploration of FOMO in practical beverage consumption in Indonesian urban settings. Findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of FOMO as a consumer behavior determinant with practical implications for coffee businesses and policymakers.
