Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to analyze the influence of Communication, Work Ethic, Quality of Work Life (QWL), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on Employee Performance at Hotel Java Heritage Purwokerto. This research was conducted to address performance inconsistencies, communication gaps, and unstable work outcomes, indicating the need to explore internal factors affecting employee productivity. Methods: A quantitative approach using accidental sampling was applied, involving 105 employees as respondents. Data were collected offline through a questionnaire containing 34 indicator items. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) version 3.0.Results: The findings reveal that Communication and OCB have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Work Ethic shows a positive but non-significant effect, while QWL shows a negative but non-significant effect. These results indicate that strong communication and appropriate extra-role behavior can enhance performance, whereas work ethic and QWL do not directly improve employee outcomes. Conclusion and suggestion: This study highlights the importance of strengthening communication channels and supporting constructive OCB to improve performance. Although Work Ethic and QWL do not show significant effects, they remain relevant and require attention through training, motivation, and work environment enhancement. Future research is recommended to increase the sample size, include multiple hotels, and add moderating variables such as job satisfaction or leadership style to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of performance determinants. Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to examine the effects of financial inclusion, digital financial literacy, financial management, and locus of control on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Banyumas Regency, using a Resource-Based Theory framework. Methods: The quantitative methodology of this study is based on primary data collected from 115 respondents, selected at random from a pool of MSME owners, via an online and offline survey. Results: The findings indicate that financial management and locus of control have a positive, significant effect on MSME performance, underscoring the importance of internal managerial capabilities and psychological resources. Conversely, financial inclusion and digital financial literacy do not show a significant impact on MSME performance, suggesting that access to financial services and digital financial tools has not yet been optimally utilized to enhance business performanceConclusion and suggestion: These results imply that financial access alone is insufficient without adequate managerial skills and strong internal controls. Therefore, MSME development programs are encouraged to focus on strengthening financial management practices and internal locus of control to improve MSME performance and sustainability. Introduction: This study aims to investigate the impact of product quality, brand image, price perception, and product design on students’ purchase decisions for Wardah cosmetics at Muhammadiyah University Purwokerto. Methods: Purposive sampling was used, with a total of 130 respondents who had purchased and used Wardah cosmetic products. Results: Product quality, price perception, and product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Self-Efficacy on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at Rumah Sakit Islam Purwokerto. This research employed a quantitative approach using purposive sampling, involving 173 non-managerial employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while POS and job satisfaction do not significantly affect performance. Both POS and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; however, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between POS or self-efficacy and employee performance. These findings indicate that individual belief in professional competence is the most dominant factor in driving performance in a hospital environment with high service demands. This study provides practical implications for hospital management to prioritize strengthening employee self-efficacy through training and mentoring.

Abstract

The rapid growth of fintech has shifted society toward cashless transactions, making e-wallets a preferred digital payment method valued for their ease of use and usefulness. In Banyumas, the rising digital payment adoption alongside growing fraud cases has made trust and security central to e-wallet intention. This study aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Trust, and Perceived Security on the Intention to Use the DANA e-wallet in Banyumas. This study employs a quantitative approach based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with a purposive sampling method. The population in this study is the people of Banyumas who are already familiar with the DANA e-wallet. The sample size was determined using G*Power analysis, which yielded a minimum of 85 respondents, and increased to 130 respondents to enhance statistical power and data accuracy. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach through SmartPLS 3. The results show that Trust and Perceived Security have a positive and significant effect on Intention to Use. However, the variables Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness were found to have no significant effect on the intention to use. These findings indicate that trust and security are the main factors driving people in Banyumas to use the DANA e-wallet, while ease of use and usefulness are no longer primary considerations.
