Abstract

Moral messages are an important part so that we can add knowledge about the value of life. Moral messages can be conveyed through means of communication, one of which is through mass media that are comprehensive for the community. Submission of information via YouTube can be done quickly, one of which is through Podcasts. This study aims to determine the contents of the moral message contained in the podcast from the perspective of Coki & Muslims about tolerance for diversity and sensitive comedy on YouTube "Menjadi Manusia". The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method using John Fiske's theory where in conducting this research it describes the emergency of tolerance in Indonesia which has resulted in persecution of Tretan and Coki contained in the podcast content and what moral message is contained therein. By conducting this research, the researchers found results that there is a lack of tolerance in Indonesia and the treatment of organizations, especially the persecution of certain parties they perceive as threats. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the younger generation must do something about this problem of tolerance according to their respective capacities and not become a group that just stays silent and allows intolerance to occur.

Abstract

Coffee shop is a conversation in the community which is the attraction of a modern coffee shop. Coffe shop is a place to socialize for anyone who wants to get a relaxed atmosphere to discuss or just to greet never left behind by the times. Coffee is one of the drinks made from spices that has become a favorite drink around the world. Modern coffee shops are a topic of conversation in society and attract the attention of many people. Currently, the business in the field of coffee shops has developed with an interesting concept of sales and presentation, ranging from the design of the place to the menu offered. In this study using qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques through interviews with resource persons, observation and supported by data in the form of documentation. The results of this study found that the marketing communication applied by Kedai Tambora is through marketing carried out using Kedai Tambora's own Instagram social media or by marketing through paid promotions with one of the influencers in Surabaya.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Keterampilan literasi media digital yang rendah di masyarakat Indonesia dapat mempengaruhi identitas nasional, yang sangat penting untuk kohesi suatu bangsa yang heterogen. Orang-orang sekarang berkomunikasi dengan cara yang sering kali tidak sensitif terhadap standar budaya nasional, semua itu karena maraknya media digital. Ini jelas terlihat dari meningkatnya materi yang tidak berguna di banyak situs media sosial. Memang, globalisasi dan ketersediaan informasi asing telah berkontribusi pada kurangnya representasi digital budaya Indonesia. Budaya Majapahit, yang berasal dari salah satu kerajaan terbesar di kepulauan, adalah budaya yang sangat menarik untuk dibagikan melalui cerita di media sosial. Tujuan: Sesuai dengan itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki secara mendalam bagaimana latar belakang sejarah dan prinsip budaya Majapahit dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan identitas nasional melalui penceritaan digital di platform komunikasi digital. Metode: Metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik analisis literatur digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Membangun rasa identitas nasional seharusnya bisa dilakukan melalui cerita digital tentang budaya Majapahit, seperti film, peta, podcast, atau cerita interaktif. Mendidik masyarakat tentang nilai-nilai budaya melalui narasi dan permainan interaktif adalah cara yang ideal untuk mengembangkan identitas nasional. Hasil: Dengan mempertimbangkan tantangan yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh budaya internet dan keterhubungan dengan dunia, studi menunjukkan bahwa orang Indonesia yang terhubung dapat menggunakan cerita digital untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tradisional Majapahit ke dalam identitas nasional yang terpadu. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya Majapahit ke dalam narasi digital dan menyebarkannya melalui berbagai platform media digital dapat membantu mengatasi erosi identitas nasional yang disebabkan oleh media digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan dan mengkaji tentang penggunaan saluran komunikasi dalam membentuk minat wisatawan berkunjung ke wisata Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan studi saluran komunikasi yang bersifat kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan menelaah, mereduksi, menyajikan dan penarikan kesimpulan. Data hasil observasi disajikan dalam bentuk gambar (foto). Data hasil studi kepustakaan disajikan dalam bentuk kutipan-kutipan untuk memperkuat temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses penggunaan saluran komunikasi dalam membentuk minat wisatawan berkunjung di wisata Kota Surabaya dalam proses penggunaan saluran komunikasinya sesuai dengan pengalaman mereka ada yang mengetahui dari media massa tersendiri maupun mengetahui secara langsung dari teman sebayanya maupun keluarga terdekatnya yang sudah pernah berkunjung kesana kemudian memberikan informasi mengenai seperti apa wisata di Kota Surabaya tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the marketing communication strategy of steel products to customers to increase profits at PT Sarana Suksestama Sejahtera. In order to reveal these issues in depth and thoroughly, researchers use descriptive qualitative methods. From the results of this research it was found that the marketing communication strategy to increase sales at PT Sarana Suksestama Sejahtera uses a marketing mix, namely the type of product in the form of building materials and equipment from iron and steel, how to set prices by using direct prices with a pay system that is done at the beginning, discounts are given to consumers who buy with a large enough quantity, the location of the company is located in the middle of the densely populated city of Surabaya, the distribution channels that the company does are by directly coming to customers, as well as promotions that are still conventional.

Abstract

The Pencak Silat Nahdlatul Ulama Pagar Nusa's Role of Public Relations in Fostering connections with Gebang Putih Subdistrict, Surabaya City, essentially has a role and a plan of its own in fostering connections with the people living in Gebang Putih Subdistrict, Surabaya City. At PSNU Pagar Nusa Gebang Putih, public relations initiatives are typically coordinated within the organization as a whole, making use of available resources to accomplish certain objectives. According to the findings of the Excellence theory analysis, public relations is seen as a profession that plays the role of a manager who employs dialogue and research to build positive relationships with the public in addition to acting as a communicator and persuasive tool to spread information.

Abstract

Developing a Social Media & Natural Disaster Response Knowledge Program for SLB Harapan Bunda is a task that will be carried out by students from stikosa-AWS as participants in the 6th semester of the KKL. On March 22, an unfortunate event occurred, namely a natural disaster in the form of an earthquake. The program that we will carry out and the title was chosen because we, as participants in KKL group 4, will provide education and understanding about responsiveness in dealing with natural disasters. Natural disasters are not only limited to earthquakes, but also include other examples such as tsunamis, landslides, volcanic eruptions, floods, fires, and others. So, group 4 of the Stikosa-AWS KKL participants will carry out tasks that involve the application of knowledge gained in higher education to teach or apply it to the general public in the context of communication. The relationship between communication and response to disasters is that by providing knowledge about disasters, it is hoped that SLB Harapan Bunda can provide direction to students with the understanding that has been given. In addition, it is hoped that the public can also gain understanding through social media that has contained educational content about disaster response. The importance of effective communication is that it leads to good understanding, while poor communication can lead to incomprehension.

Abstract

Pendidikan Teknologi dan Informasi merupakan kebutuhan penting pada era modern saat ini yang mana siswa-siswi dituntut untuk mempelajari bidang teknologi sebagai penguatan masa depan. Kegiatan peningkatan keterampilan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk siswa siswi sekolah luar biasa ini mengajarkan untuk memahami tools pada computer. Tools perangkat lunak sangat penting untuk memfasilitasi berbagai tugas dan aktivitas yang dilakukan komputer. sistem operasi seperti Windows yang membantu menjalankan tugas dasar komputer hingga aplikasi produktivitas seperti Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, dan sebagainya. Selain itu keterampilan untuk membantu dalam produksi desain grafis dan multimedia, serta pengolahan data dan kolaborasi.  Selain itu, program pengolahan gambar seperti Photoshop, Illustrator dan canva memungkinkan pengguna membuat karya seni digital yang sangat rinci. Secara keseluruhan, alat perangkat lunak ini sangat penting untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan kreatifitas pengguna komputer kontemporer. Tidak hanya perangkat lunak namun keterampilan perangkat keras juga dibutuhkan dalam peningkatan IT seperti memahami monitor, cpu, keyboard dan sebagainya. Motivasi dari kegiatan ini adalah ingin memberikan peningkatan keterampilan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dengan memberikan praktik secara ofline untuk siswa -siswi Sekolah Luar biasa (SLB) tingkat SMA agar mereka mendapatkan bekal skill mengoprasikan komputer. Tahapan program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan perencanaan yang mana Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Stikosa-AWS berkerjasama dengan BPSDMP Kominfo Surabaya terkait fasilitas – fasilitas yang diberikan siswa-siswi SLB, selanjutnya pemilihan instruktur dan asisten instruktur dalam pengajarannya, kemudian pelaksanaan kegiatan serta evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dapat diketahui dari respon guru-guru Sekolah Luar Biasa Sidoarjo mengapresiasi Stikosa-AWS dan BPSDMP Kominfo Surabaya dengan memberikan fasilitas serta pelatihan untuk siswa-siswinya. Kemudian peningkatan keterampilan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi siswa -siwi menjandi meningkat dari hasil proyek selama pembelajaran sehingga mereka dapat mengoprasikan komputer dengan baik.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology in the contemporary era like today has brought major changes in various aspects of human life including education. In recent years, TikTok is one of the online platforms that has grown rapidly. This application is not only an entertainment platform but has also developed into a learning platform because of its creative and interesting content. Although TikTok has become popular as an entertainment platform, now many accounts use it as a learning platform such as learning a foreign language. A famous account in this field is @jayfujiwara who creates educational content to teach English with 5.9 million latest followers. Considering this phenomenon, this study will investigate how the TikTok account @jayfujiwara is used as a medium for learning English, as well as how effective and impactful the content on the account is on students learning a foreign language. After this study was conducted, it can be concluded that the TikTok account @jayfujiwara is an innovative and flexible English learning medium in the modern era. The real impacts experienced by students include increasing their motivation to learn and improving better speaking and listening skills, practical application of English, reducing their anxiety while learning, and strengthening their community networks. Therefore, social media platforms, especially TikTok, can help students learn English, especially the younger generation who are familiar with digital technology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the transformation of heritage tourism marketing strategies is carried out through the TikTok platform, and how it influences the travel interest of Generation Z visitors to the Kota Tua Surabaya destination. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research observes TikTok content promoting Kota Tua Surabaya, conducts interviews with content creators and local tourism stakeholders, and gathers insights from Gen Z TikTok users through in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that TikTok, as a short-video-based social media platform, provides strong visual and emotional appeal, particularly through the use of trending music, storytelling narratives, and cinematic visuals. Authentic, interactive, and relatable content has proven to be more effective in increasing awareness and interest among Gen Z. The transformation of heritage tourism marketing through TikTok not only expands promotional reach but also helps shape a modern and digitally relevant image of the destination.
