Abstract

Moderasi beragama menjadi sangat penting dalam diskursus public tentang intoleransi. Kajian ini bermaksud mendiskusikan penetrasi moderasi beragama pada lembaga pendidikan Islam melalui lembaga bimbingan dan konseling sebagai materi utama. Dengan pendekatan kepustakan (libarary reseach) penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan kajian bahwa Pemikiran moderasi beragama seharusnya juga menjadi materi utama dalam kontek bimbingan dan konseling di lembaga pendidikan Islam, baik di madrasah maupun di pesantren.karena maraknya kekerasan dan praksis intoleransi disebabkan karena tidak ada pengetahuan tentang moderasi beragama sejak dini. Bahwa materi moderasi beragama sebagai materi utama dalam bimbingan dan konseling dalam lingkup pendidikan islam menurut penulis akan menjadi tambahan strategi dalam melakukan penguatan pemahaman siswa terhadap moderasi beragama yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru dan juga lembaga bimbingan dan konseling yang ada di lembaga pendidikan. Pembinaan moderasi beragama sejak dini melalui lembaga pendidikan islam khusunya lembaga konseling dan juga para guru dan kepala sekolah seharusnya mengedepankan Taqdimu al-Qudwah al-Toyyibah yaitu Pendidikan keteladanan, Pendidikan Islam sangat memperhatikan keteladanan dan melatakkannya pada metode yang sangat penting dalam Pendidikan. Materi bimbingan pada lembaga pendidikan islam secara khusus dapat melakukan pembelajaran dan pemahaman yang telah dirumuskan dalam indikator moderasi beragama yaitu, Komitmen kebangsaan, Toleransi, Anti radikalisme dan kekerasan, Akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal.

Abstract

Social and cultural changes that occur in urban society have resulted in a shift in religious values, where religion is only used as symbols of self-identity. This behavior pattern tends to lead to the formation of self-imitation. This results in social inequalities and changes in religious, social and cultural values. This research tries to analyze the religious, social and cultural changes that have occurred in the community of Sukolilo Village, Labang District, Bangkalan Regency, which have had a lot of influence on their life patterns. This research uses a phenomenological approach. Meanwhile, this type of research is descriptive research. The results of the research show that the dynamics of religion lead to the mosque being a place of worship for Muslims. Apart from being a center for religious activities, the mosque is also a center for social activities. Social dynamics show that the level of education in Sukolilo Bangkalan is relatively low, with minimal children continuing their education to high school level. Community employment, namely work in the service and informal sectors. Meanwhile, in the cultural aspect, the language used by the majority of people is Madurese which is very dominantly used as a means of communication in their daily activities in their environment with some mixture of Javanese language originating from Surabaya. The author argues that this dynamic becomes a social inevitability amidst the intersection of several aspects above, which coincides with the roar of information "spillover" in society

Abstract

The kiai as a designer, implementer and controller of the course of education in the pesantren. Kiai determines the direction of a boarding school education. The attitude and character of the kiai determine the color of the pesantren education. This study is to describe particularly a role of Kiai in pesantren management patterns by promoting tolerance education as one of the Kiai's leadership styles in the pesantren. This research method uses qualitative methods with case studies. The data network was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). While data analysis using data reduction, display and conclusion. As well this study found a new model of tolerance education which a model of kiai cantered or a Model of kiai. First kiai became advisor and planner to set a education of tolerance based on multicultural view. Second, learning of tolerance delivered in the class integrated with the all the subjects, teachers should stated about tolerance during the class. And then the practice of tolerance accommodated by kiai including the community and santri activities as well kiai welcomed the tradition of community.

Abstract

STAI Al-Khairat at least through its curriculum has done and applied Multicultural values ​​both naturally and through digital media learning. Although multicultural looks hidden, it is not directly mentioned terminologically in concept or in learning. But explicitly or naturalistic multicultural values ​​exist and are taught even applied in the system of everyday student life. In curriculum of multicultural value education almost taught every semester on religious studies, such as introductory study of Islam, tafseer, hadith, and tasawwuf morality. Values ​​like; al-rahmah (affection), hablunminannas (humanist), al-musawaroh (democracy / prioritizing dialogue), al-a'dl (Justice), al-tasamuh (tolerance), al- ta'ruf (togetherness), al-ta'awun (assistence), as-salam (peace), al-ta'adudiyat (plural), al-'afwu (forgiveness), al-ikhsan (positive thingking), natural and systemic (discipline / honest) discipline has been present in the campus environment.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss multicultural education in James Bank's view. This study uses a qualitative research approach with library research using Banks' views as the main reference and several other scientific journal documents as comparison data for the analysis of Banks' views. The research found that James A. Banks, the first black professor to be employed by the College of Education, will retire in January after teaching at UW for half a century. Known worldwide for his pioneering scholarship in the field of multicultural education, According to Banks the dimension of multicultural education. there are 5 dimensions of multicultural education that must exist in multicultural education. The first is the integration of multicultural education in the curriculum, the second is the construction of science. Third, the reduction of prejudice, fourth. An equity pedagogy, the fifth is the empowerment of school culture and social structure. The bank with five dimensions opens a bright way in answering the western debate about disparity and grouping an ethnicity and culture. Bank-style multicultural education is very suitable to be applied to the spirit of national education

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of transformative pedagogy in building equitable access to national education in Indonesia. Transformative pedagogy, rooted in the thought of Paulo Freire, emphasizes education as a liberatory process that fosters critical consciousness and social justice. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design, through document analysis of national education policies, in-depth interviews with teachers, principals and education office officials, and triangulation of data from various sources. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with reference to Critical Pedagogy theory (Freire, 1970) and Social Justice Theory (Rawls, 1971). The results show that national policies such as Merdeka Belajar have reflected the spirit of inclusiveness, but have not fully realized the transformation of social awareness in educational practice. Teachers have not played an optimal role as agents of change because the education system is still hierarchical and oriented towards academic achievement. This research concludes that equal access to education can only be realized through the synergy between social justice policy reform and the application of liberating transformative pedagogy. The integration of the two is an important foundation for an inclusive, humanist and transformative national education.

Abstract

The rise of intolerance and fanaticism that has occurred recently, especially in public universities, demands the importance of implementing religious moderation as a solution in creating a peaceful and violence-free religious life. Religious moderation is a strategic approach to deal with the rise of radicalism and intolerance among university students, who are vulnerable to the influence of extreme ideologies. This study aims to explore the implementation of religious moderation in building a harmonious learning atmosphere at Institut Teknologi Adi Tama Surabaya (ITATS), a campus with students from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results showed that religious moderation at ITATS centers on the application of the concept of tawassuth (the middle way), which is integrated into the curriculum and other campus activities. The program is effective in improving tolerance and socio-religious attitudes, minimizing potential conflicts, and strengthening social cohesion among students. The findings confirm the importance of religious moderation education as a strategy to strengthen national awareness and develop inclusiveness in a multicultural academic environment

Abstract

“Seni mendidik anak”, sebagai sebuah istilah, mewakili urgensi pendidikan di lingkungan keluarga yang dilakukan oleh orang tua terhadap anak. Terbukti bahwa dalam lingkungan keluarga, anak memang memperoleh berbagai pengetahuan, pengalaman, aktivitas dan mendapatkan pengasuhan dari orang tua. Dalam tulisan ini akan dianalisis seni mendidik anak dalam pandangan Ibn al Qayyim al Jauziyah yang masih relevan dengan kehidupan saat ini. Penelitian pustaka ini menemukan bahwa, menurut Ibn al Qayyim, mendidik anak harus sejak dini, dimulai dengan memahami fitrah anak, pemberian ASI eksklusif, melatih berbicara, mengatur pola makan, hingga menanamkan pendidikan akhlak. Dari pendapat tersebut, dapat disarikan bahwa terdapat tiga pendekatan dalam mendidik anak: pertama, biologis, dilakukan dengan memandang anak sebagai untuk entitas yang tumbuh. Sehingga beberapa upaya dilakukan untuk menopang pertumbuhannya. Kedua, psikologis, meniscayakan bahwa anak adalah manusia yang berkembang. Itu sebabnya anak harus diberikan stimulus positif untuk perkembangannya. Ketiga, pendekatan teologis, yang merupakan pangkal dari dua pendekatan sebelumnya. Melalui pendekatan ini, setiap anak harus dikenalkan dengan tauhid, disinari dengan ajaran agama dan diajarkan nilai-nilai akhlak. Maka, mendidik anak tidaklah mudah, tidak seperti membalikkan telapak tangan. Ia membutuhkan proses yang harus dilalui secara bertahap, sinergis dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Potensi kampung moderasi di Kabupaten Pamekasan sangat kuat apabila dilakukan pengenaan dan pembinaan kampung moderasi beragama pada masyarakat. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa masyarakat Pamekasan Madura tidak seluruhnya mengetahui tetang kampung moderasi beragama. Walaupun masyarakatnya memiliki tingkat religious yang tinggi jumlah muslim mayoritas, anehnya konflik atas nama agama di Madura sering terjadi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk ikut serta mengedukasi masyarakat tentang moderasi beragama dengan kampung moderasi. Dengan pendekatan PAR (participatory action research) pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kepada masyarakat melalui sosialisasi secara langsung kepada tokoh masyarakat, kepala desa dan dilakukan sosialiasi melalui media social tentang kampung moderasi beragama. Disampaikan dalam sosialiasi tentang penguatan moderasi beragama dengan meningkatkan kometmen kebangsaan, toleransi dan menghindari kekerasan serta cinta kepada budaya lokal. Kegiatan lainnya adalah penguatan moderasi beragama melalui kegiatan keagamaan yang ada di masayarakat desa seperti kegiatan perkumpulan malam jumatan. Dalam momentum kegiatan perkumpulan ini disampaiakan dengan ceramah agama tentang moderasi beragama.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic role of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in suppressing Wahhabism and radicalism in Sumenep Regency through cultural and religious moderation initiatives. As Indonesia's largest Islamic organisation, NU serves as a vital civil society actor in preserving the country's pluralistic religious landscape, particularly in rural and archipelagic areas. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions, observations, and document analysis involving NU leaders, educators, and government officials. The primary data consisted of field findings from participants, while secondary data included institutional documents, reports, and literature relevant to NU programs. Data were analysed using thematic analysis through interactive cycles of reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that NU Sumenep exercises agency by mapping radical-affiliated institutions, labelling mosques, launching ideological training for cadres (PKPNU), and promoting religious moderation through media and higher education networks. These initiatives represent a contextualised model of grassroots resistance to exclusivist ideologies. NU's agency, grounded in the Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah tradition and aligned with national policy frameworks, contributes to ideological resilience and reinforces a moderate Islam that is inclusive, tolerant, and nationally committed. Furthermore, these efforts significantly influence Islamic education in Sumenep by strengthening curricula of religious moderation, shaping institutional identity in Islamic schools and pesantren, and providing preventive frameworks that reduce the penetration of Wahhabi-oriented teachings within educational environments.
