Abstract

Sufism has evolved from time to time and from society to another by presenting itself in various forms and ways. By virtue of its tenets, Sufism has influenced many societies and different cultures. Sufis have played a significant role in their respective societies as religious mentors or else as political advisors. Many of them have otherwise stood in opposition to the political authority and proposed a better way of running the society. Across history, Sufism has shown itself as a dynamic and innovative social and religious force. In the final analysis, Sufism cannot be ignored as the major contributor to the structure of Islamic civilization. In the meantime, the social and religious malaises that we witness in modern time have called Sufism into play. Modernism has produced an unbalanced life, triggering the absolutistic way of life where a man is aware only of his physical dimension and ignoring his spiritual inner being. Here, Sufism can play its important role. The modern intellectual paradigm that puts more emphasis on empiricism and rationalism and produces as a result the positivistic mode of thinking has paved the way for Sufism to occur and recur as the dominant player in the domain of man-personality building. This paper is concerned with this issue and other related problems. Putting in mind that Sufism has its social dimension the paper believes that it has something to offer for modern men living in time of great uncertainty.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan ingin mendeskripsikan perbedaan konseptual Pendidikan Barat (Umum) dan Pendidikan Islam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan paradigma pendidikan Barat dan Islam tidak hanya terbatas pada ranah ontologis dan epistemologisnya, tetapi juga pada ranah aksiologis. Pada ranah ontologis, perbedaan pendidikan terlihat terutama pada ruang lingkup dan hakikat pendidikan itu sendiri. Pada ranah epistemologis, perbedaan keduanya terletak pada sumber pengetahuan yang dicari serta cara dan strategi untuk menggali sumber pengetahuan itu. Ranah konseptual ontologis hingga proses pendidikan (epistemologis) yang berbeda akan berpengaruh secara langsung pada tataran aksiologinya. Secara aksiologis, Pendidikan Barat tidak menjadikan nilai-nilai sebagai bagian dari hasil pendidikan, sementara Islam basis nilai manjadi sebuah keniscayaan dan bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari hasil pendidikan itu sendiri.

Abstract

Indonesia is widely known as a plural society in addition to popularly being a multicultural nation. Not only does it have the wealth of natural resources, but also it has the most vibrant socio-cultural wealth in the world. This cultural diversity becomes an inevitable reality. Thus looking at the concept of multicultural society, it is as relevant as an epistemic basis that Indonesian people could live together, but at the same time have the potential for possible "civil war". This paper discussed the characteristics of multicultural societies having become the social reality of Indonesia in addition to explaining the formation of multi-cultural society. This study also found that multiculturality of the community was formed due to such factors as geographical, influences on foreign cultures, different climatic conditions, diversity of ethnic groups, and religious and racial diversity.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of video media in improving student learning outcomes in the competence of caring for the scalp and hair. The research method used was an experimental method with pretest and posttest control group design. This study used test as a research data collection instrument. The validity test of the test questions was analyzed by using product moment correlation and the reliability testi was analyzed by using the Kuder-Richardson-20 formula (KR-20). The contents validity of video instrument and the performance of students were analyzed by using the Contents Validity Ratio (CVR) formula, meanwhile, the reliability test was analyzed by using Cohens Kappa. The study population was a class of X beauty students at State Vocational High School 3 Pati. The placement of the students into the experiment group and the control group used a random assigment technique by drawing. Based on the results of the t-test, the initial average of learning outcomes in the competency of caring the scalp and hair of the control group is 54.5704, it improves into 75.0593 with the improves of 37.54%, including in the “low” category. Whereas, in the experiment group, the initial average learning outcomes in the competency of caring for the scalp and hair is 55.9438, it increases to 83.3281, with the improves of 48.95%, including in the “medium” category. The difference in the improvement in learning outcomes in the experiment group is higher than the difference in the improvement in learning outcomes of the control group (48.95% > 37.54%) so that it can be synthesized that the use of video media is effective in learning competency in caring for the scalp and hair in class of X beauty students of State Vocational High School 3 Pati.

Abstract

AbstrakR.A Kartini adalah pejuang emansipasi wanita yang konsisten memperjuangkan hak kaum wanita supaya setara dengan kaum pria. Beliau membuka sekolah wanita pertama serta berjejaring korespondensi dengan koleganya di Belanda sampai akhir hayat. Namun kini pemahaman generasi muda tentang perjuangan RA Kartini menurun. Perjuangan RA Kartini hanya dikenang dengan melakukan selebrasi dan sebatas memakai kebaya dan perlombaan. Selain itu belum adanya buku cerita bergambar versi cetak dan versi digital yang bisa diakses secara luas dan mudah tentang perjuangan RA Kartini. Menilik permasalahan tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengenalkan esensi perjuangan R.A Kartini kepada generasi muda dalam bentuk buku cerita bergambar versi cetak dan digital. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dipilih melalui pendekatan analisis framing. Target audience penelitian ini adalah generasi muda socio-economic status B dengan segmentasi psikografis gaya hidup teknologi-savvy. Penelitian terdahulu menjadi landasan pengembangan penelitian ini, yang mana perbedaannya terletak pada konten yang disajikan. Penelitian terdahulu fokus pada peninggalan RA Kartini, sedangkan penelitian saat ini fokus pada esensi cerita perjuangannya. Kata Kunci: buku cerita bergambar, esensi perjuangan, R.A Kartini AbstractR.A Kartini was a fighter for women's emancipation / who consistently fought for women's rights to be equal to men. He opened the first women's school and maintained correspondence with colleagues in the Netherlands until the end of his life. However, now the younger generation's understanding of RA Kartini's struggle is declining. RA Kartini's struggle is only remembered by celebrating and limited to wearing a kebaya and competing. Apart from that, there are no printed or digital versions of illustrated story books that can be widely and easily accessed about RA Kartini's struggle. Considering these problems, the aim of this research is to introduce the essence of R.A Kartini's struggle to the younger generation in the form of printed and digital versions of illustrated story books. The qualitative descriptive research method was chosen through a framing analysis approach. The target audience for this research is the young generation of socio-economic status B with a psychographic segmentation of a technology-savvy lifestyle. Previous research became the basis for developing this research, the difference lies in the content presented. Previous research focused on the legacy of RA Kartini, while the research carried out focused on the essence of the story of her struggle. Keywords: essence of struggle, picture storybook, R.A Kartini

Abstract

Era globalisasi telah memberikan normalisasi digital dan perubahan selera belajar pada berbagai aspek, termasuk museum. Museum Soegarda Purbalingga mengalami tantangan dalam adaptasi digital dan selera belajar pengunjung. Tujuan studi ini adalah meningkatkan minat belajar pengunjung dan adaptasi digital museum melalui Augmented Reality (AR). Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan triangulasi data untuk validitas. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AR di Museum memiliki dampak signifikan dan positif terhadap minat pengunjung untuk belajar lebih banyak tentang artefak dan budaya lokal. Nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0.86 menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat antara efektivitas AR dan motivasi pengunjung. Analisis statistik menunjukkan nilai t sebesar 4.89 dengan derajat kebebasan 9, menunjukkan signifikansi statistik tinggi (p < 0.05). Secara keseluruhan, hasil studi ini mendukung bahwa AR dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang efektif dan menyenangkan, memberikan dasar kuat untuk penggunaan teknologi AR dalam strategi konservasi dan edukasi museum.

Abstract

Polusi udara berkontribusi terhadap kerusakan kulit seperti jerawat dan penuaan dini akibat peningkatan radikal bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan dan mengevaluasi sediaan pembersih wajah berbahan ekstrak enceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) yang mengandung antioksidan seperti flavonoid, saponin, dan fenol. Tiga formulasi dibuat (F1–3%, F2–4%, F3–5%) dan diuji secara organoleptik, pH, homogenitas, kadar zat aktif, serta kadar asam lemak bebas. Hasil menunjukkan semua formula memiliki pH aman (6,74–7,06), bersifat homogen, dan memenuhi standar zat aktif (SNI 2588:2017). Namun, kadar asam lemak bebas melebihi batas maksimum (SNI 3532:2021). Kesimpulannya, ekstrak enceng gondok berpotensi sebagai bahan pembersih wajah, namun perlu perbaikan pada kadar asam lemak bebas.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss multicultural education in James Bank's view. This study uses a qualitative research approach with library research using Banks' views as the main reference and several other scientific journal documents as comparison data for the analysis of Banks' views. The research found that James A. Banks, the first black professor to be employed by the College of Education, will retire in January after teaching at UW for half a century. Known worldwide for his pioneering scholarship in the field of multicultural education, According to Banks the dimension of multicultural education. there are 5 dimensions of multicultural education that must exist in multicultural education. The first is the integration of multicultural education in the curriculum, the second is the construction of science. Third, the reduction of prejudice, fourth. An equity pedagogy, the fifth is the empowerment of school culture and social structure. The bank with five dimensions opens a bright way in answering the western debate about disparity and grouping an ethnicity and culture. Bank-style multicultural education is very suitable to be applied to the spirit of national education

Abstract

The high level of publication of religious moderation is not directly proportional to the strengthening of radicalism in Indonesia. Religious moderation has become a public discourse, especially since the publication of the decision of the Directorate General of Islamic Education Number 7272 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Religious Moderation in Islamic Education. This research analyzes the decision of the directorate general of Islamic Education Number 7272 of 2019. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research, namely the note-taking technique. This research shows that several guidelines need to be discussed again. Firstly, lesson plan administration is not required to include indicators of religious moderation learning. Secondly, the unique material on religious moderation does not stand alone but is only presented substantively. Third are teachers' human resource competencies in religious moderation, especially components. School. Fourth, the character of Islamic boarding schools in terms of accommodation for religious moderation. Publication of religious moderation, in particular at public universities.
