Abstract

Digital transformation that is developing along with the industrial revolution 4.0 makes all sectors must be able to adapt and compete more competitively. XYZ University in Ambon, Maluku is currently still carrying out the admissions process manually and using the Google Form. This study aims to design and implement a web-based admissions system at XYZ University. Thus, this system can help the admissions committee and the new students who will register from anywhere and at any time. The method used in this research is Agile Software Development (ASD). This method is very popular in the IT industry today because of its speed and ability to adapt to the changing needs of users. ASD has several models and the one used in this study is the Scrum model, where each Product Backlog obtained from the user is divided into several sprints to make software development easier and faster. The results of this study have been tested and are running well from an operational and functional standpoint to help the admissions committee and new students in the registration process. The conclusions based on the results of this study are (1) the ASD method can help and speed up the software development process, and can be adapted to user needs because it is end-user-centered; (2) This system can help solve research problems, in this case the admissions committee at XYZ University to manage online admissions of new students. In addition, this system can make the process of admitting new students easier and more affordable for students to register from anywhere and at any time.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) merupakan penerapan dukungan teknologi informasi pada institusi perguruan tinggi yang berisi seluruh informasi pengelolaan data pengguna dengan bagian akademik. Lembaga XYZ terus melakukan upaya optimalisasi sumber daya untuk mendukung kelancaran kegiatan akademik melalui penggunaan SIAKAD. Namun dalam proses penggunaannya, masih adanya permasalahan mengenai sistem yang sudah dikembangkan berbasis web kadang kala mengalami gangguan sehingga adanya keterlambatan mahasiswa dalam pengisian KRS secara online disamping permasalahan lainnnya. Mengatasi hal tersebut perlu dilakukan evaluasi tata kelola IT untuk mengetahui level kapabilitas yang dilihat dari proses evaluasi, arahan, dan monitor khusus pada domain EDM4 yaitu optimalisasi sumber daya dengan Cobit 5. Hasil menunjukan bahwa sumber daya pada Lembaga XYZ dalam pengelolaan SIAKAD berada pada level kapabilitas 4, sehingga kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah proses pengelolaan IT berada pada level predictable yaitu berjalan dengan sangat baik, sesuai dengan kinerja yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Tourist perceptions obtained by sentiment analysis can provide an overview of tourism development in Maluku Province. This study aims to determine the perception of tourists towards destinations in Maluku based on the results of sentiment analysis. This research uses a quantitative approach by analyzing scrapping and snipping data from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps Review, and Trip Advisor. Sentiment analysis is done by comparing the accuracy level of the Random Forest, Naive Bayes, and Support Vector Machine classification models. The results of the comparison of the three methods show that Random Forest has the best accuracy rate, which is 85%. The results of sentiment analysis both on the entire dataset and the results of analysis per district/city show that tourists' perceptions of tourist destinations in Maluku can be said to be good because they are dominated by negative sentiments. The existence of negative and neutral sentiments indicates that there is a need for improvement and improvement in the quality of tourist services in terms of human resources, transportation, accommodation, and infrastructure facilities.

Abstract

Digitalization in local tourism development is essential as it significantly impacts the growth and sustainability of Tourism Villages. This study aims to develop a website-based Tourism Management Information System to support sustainable tourism development in Tourism Villages in Maluku. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was utilized to build the system, consisting of four stages: Requirement Planning, User Design (Iterative: prototype, testing, and refinement), Construction, and Cutover. The iterative process during the User Design stage accelerated system development by continuously incorporating user feedback and needs. System testing employed usability testing during the User Design phase and black-box testing during the Construction phase. The results of this study demonstrate that the developed system successfully fulfills user requirements, enhancing the management and accessibility of Tourism Villages. Key features include tour package selection and an online reservation system, simplifying travel arrangements for visitors. This system significantly impacts tourism development by improving operational efficiency, promoting local attractions, and fostering economic growth in Tourism Villages. Furthermore, the system contributes to the sustainability of tourism by encouraging digital transformation, increasing visitor engagement, and supporting local communities through enhanced tourism services.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought fundamental changes to various aspects of human life, including job searching. The utilization of digital technology in job search has provided broader and more flexible access for job seekers. The purpose of this writing is to build a user experience (UX) and personalization system to ensure that received information is conveyed clearly without being overwhelming. The method used is Lean User Experience (UX), which focuses on reducing time and costs in the development process. Data collection techniques include literature studies and questionnaires. The results obtained indicate the successful implementation of the interface on the Joobify website, with a success rate exceeding 80% in usability test using the “Maze” website platform. In conclusion, integrating and designing UI/UX on the Joobify website can help job seekers quickly access job vacancy information, save transportation costs, and expand their job search reach based on their skills and interests

Abstract

Abstrak: Sebagai produk lokal, “Sagu Bunga” memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Namun, diperlukan perbaikan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, kualitas kemasan, serta strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan usaha rintisan yang telah dilakukan melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Mitra dalam bidang manajemen dan pemasaran. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berupa sosialisasi literasi pengelolaan keuangan dan strategi kemasan, serta pelatihan desain label produk dan pembuatan kemasan standing pouch, serta pelatihan penggunaan e-commerce yang dilakukan melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Kegiatan ini dilakukan terhadap Kelompok TP-PKK Negeri Oma, Maluku Tengah yang beranggotakan 26 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk kegiatan sosialiasasi sejumlah 15 soal, serta 5 butir formulir checklist untuk masing-masing kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil yang dicapai meununjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan Mitra terhadap pengelolaan keuangan dan strategi kemasan sebesar 85,3%, peningkatan keterampilan untuk pembuatan desain dan kemasan standing pouch sebesar 86%, serta pengelolaan e-commerce sebesar 95%.Abstract: As a local specialty, 'Sago Bunga' holds significant potential to enhance community welfare. However, improvements are necessary in financial management, packaging quality, and marketing strategies. Therefore, this activity aims to optimize the existing micro-enterprises by enhancing Partners' knowledge and skills in management and marketing. The implementation method of this activity is socialization of financial management literacy and packaging strategies, training in product label design, standing pouch packaging, and the use of e-commerce which is done through the stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. This activity was conducted for the 26-member TP-PKK Negeri Oma Group in Central Maluku. The assessment was done through pre-tests and post-tests consisting of 15 questions for the socialization activity, and 5-item checklists for each training activity. The results achieved demonstrated an 85.3% increase in Partners' knowledge of financial management and packaging strategies, a 86% increase in their skills in creating standing pouch designs and packaging, and an 95% improvement in e-commerce management skills.

Abstract

Pentingnya literasi digital dan pemahaman akan bermedia sosial dalam dunia digital yang terus berkembang saat ini menjadi hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh semua kalangan dan aspek masyarakat. Terlebih untuk generasi muda yang gaya hidup dan interaksi sosial semakin berubah digerus oleh perubahan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi yang kian maju. Keresahan akan dampak dan perubahan dunia digital serta ancaman terhadap keamanan bermedia digital inilah yang menjadi dasar pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. Tujuan kegiatan ini berfokus pada literasi digital dalam memahami pentingnya mengetahui dampak bermedia sosial dan bagaimana interaksi sosial yang aman dalam dunia digitalisasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 1 hari dan diikuti oleh 17 peserta dari Anggota Angkatan Muda Gereja Protestan Maluku Jemaat GPM Oma dan tim PkM. Kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil yang baik terlihat dari respon dan antusiasme peserta kegiatan dari hasil evaluasi yang menunjukkan rata – rata 90% peserta memahami materi yang diberikan.

Abstract

Scientific publications have become the benchmarks of a country’s progress in the field of academics. This prompted the Indonesian government to issue a policy, to increase the researcher’s interest in collaborating and publicizing their research. Improving quality in research collaboration at college or faculty level could be done by analyzing the research collaboration conducted before. This research aims to understand the pattern of research collaboration, conducted by lecturers of Faculty X in YZ University based on the published scientific papers both locally, nationally and internationally. The method used to analyze the collaboration is Social Network Analysis (SNA). The centralizes measure that we used in SNA are degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality, to know how big the influences of each actor in the network. Additional attributes used to understand collaboration patterns, i.e. Study Program and Academic Functional Position (JAFA). The results of this research are the centrality value of each actor and the mapping of the network pattern based on the centrality and the attributes used. In addition, the relationship between actors is also seen based on the attributes that have been determined so as to provide more views on the conclusions of this study. It could be concluded that with the measurement in SNA, could be found the pattern of collaboration research from each actor based on the measurements of social network in the form of sociogram and the result of analysis of each actor in the form of sociometry.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemahaman yang mendalam tentang literasi digital menjadi sangat krusial, baik bagi individu maupun sebuah organisasi. Website, sebagai salah satu media penyebaran informasi yang paling efektif, berperan penting dalam meningkatkan literasi digital sebuah organisasi dan masyarakat luas. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mitra terkait literasi digital, serta meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan penyebaran informasi bagi organisasi Persekutuan Pemuda Pelajar Neniari (P3N) secara luas. Metode kegiatan ini berupa sosialisasi untuk literasi digital dan pelatihan pengelolaan website yang dilaksanakan melalui 4 tahapan, yaitu Persiapan, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi dan Keberlanjutan Program. Kegiatan dilakukan terhadap Mitra P3N, yang merupakan sebuah organisasi nirlaba berbasis kedaerahan. P3N saat ini beranggotakan 32 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan 10 pertanyaan selama kegiatan sosialisasi literasi digital dan formulir checklist untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan mitra dalam pengelolaan website P3N. Hasil kegiatan yang telah dicapai, yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan Mitra terkait literasi digital yang sebelumnya rata-rata 46,3% menjadi 89,6%, serta peningkatan keterampilan Mitra sebesar 91,5%.Abstract: Understanding the digital literacy has become crucial, both for individuals and organizations. Websites, as one of the most effective media for disseminating information, play a significant role in enhancing an organization's digital literacy and that of the wider community. Therefore, this community service aims to improve understanding of digital literacy and to increase accessibility and dissemination of information for the “Persekutuan Pemuda Pelajar Neniari” (P3N) organization. The method employed in this activity is a socialization of digital literacy and website management training structured into four phases: Preparation, Implementation, Evaluation, and Program Sustainability. P3N is a non-profit, community-based organization and currently has 32 members. Evaluation is conducted using pre-tests and post-tests with 10 questions during the socialization and a checklist form to assess the increase skills in managing the P3N website. The results achieved from the activity include an increase in P3N knowledge of digital literacy from an average of 46.3% to 89,6%, and an increase in skills of 91,5%.

Abstract

Internet merupakan suatu jaringan yang menghubungkan komputer di seluruh dunia tanpa dibatasi oleh jumlah unit menjadi satu jaringan yang dapat saling mengakses. Dengan internet tersebut, satu komputer dapat berkomunikasi secara langsung dengan komputer lain di berbagai belahan dunia. Alasan mengapa era ini memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan bagi berbagai aspek kehidupan yaitu informasi pada internet bisa diakses 24 jam dalam sehari, biaya murah dan gratis, Kemudahan akses informasi dan melakukan transaksi, kemudahan membangun relasi dengan pelanggan, Materi dapat di ketahui dengan mudah, pengguna internet telah merambah ke segala penjuru. Quality of Service (QoS) merupakan metode pengukuran tentang seberapa baik jaringan dan merupakan suatu usaha untuk mendefinisikan karakteristik dan sifat dari satu servis. QoS digunakan untuk mengukur sekumpulan atribut kinerja yang telah dispesifikasikan dan diasosiasikan dengan suatu servis. Model Monitoring QoS terdiri dari komponen monitoring application, QoS monitoring, monitor, dan monitored object. Pada pengukuran kualitas jaringan dengan menilai throughput dengan nilai rata-rata 32,81% dengan kategori sedang, delay 3,386 ms dengan kategori sedang, packet loss dengan kategori bagus dengan nilai rata-rata packet loss 3,31% dan jitter di kategori bagus mendapatkan rata-rata 4,3108 ms. Pengukuran dan penggunaan internet kampus berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dan berdasarkan topologi jaringan dengan router mikrotik yang dipakai oleh kampus Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku dapat dikategorikan kecepatan sedang.
