Abstract

This study develops a system that provides information about the location of producing vegetables and fruit and the route to the selected location in the form of a map in the form of a GIS system. This research was conducted to support the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of West Bandung Regency (KBB), which does not yet have such a system. Information about agriculture and food crops is still in the form of news and simple and there is no map feature, let alone a route feature to the location of producing vegetables and fruit. Making this web using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, CSS, HTML, Google Maps API. Information on vegetable and fruit producers was obtained from the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of the KBB. The map was taken from Google Maps, then edited to provide information on producing vegetables and fruit and travel routes to the selected location. The results of this study are a Geographic Information System which is displayed in the form of a website equipped with features in the form of information on the location of vegetables and fruit producers, news, articles, visitor comments, maps and routes to vegetables and fruit producers. These maps and routes have been adapted to the actual conditions to be passed by web visitors or fruit and vegetable commodity seekers in West Bandung district. The location of this object was obtained by conducting a direct survey to the object of agriculture and vegetable and fruit producing plantations. By implementing features from the Google Maps API that utilize the Auto Update function and Directions Service to display maps in mapping the location of agricultural commodities for this geographic information system, visitors can find out the locations of agricultural commodities in West Bandung district without having to ask other peoples. Website administrators can add new vegetable and fruit producing locations or change or delete. From the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the geographic information system for mapping agricultural products in West Bandung district has been running and functioning well with a satisfaction level of 76.92%.

Abstract

Di masa pandemi, beberapa pelaku pariwisata mengalami penurunan ekonomi secara drastis dan tidak sedikit memilih untuk menutup usaha secara sementara. Kebangkitan ekonomi pariwisata di era baru pasca pandemi, dilakukan seperti pemasaran digital melalui pembuatan video promosi melalui konsep content creator. Sebatu Tulen merupakan salah satu pelaku pariwisata berupa usaha penyewaan vila di daerah Desa Sebatu, kecamatan Tegallalang, kabupaten Gianyar – Bali. Usaha ini sempat terpuruk di saat masa pandemi, dan saat ini mencoba untuk bangkit kembali. Beberapa hal yang menjadi fokus permasalahan adalah mengenalkan kembali layanan kamar ke wisatawan yang dapat dilihat secara visual dan menarik dalam bentuk video company profil. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, diusulkan pelatihan pembuatan video profil dengan konsep video content creator kepada pada pegawai yang ada di Sebatu Tulen. Tujuannya adalah untuk menyajikan informasi secara visual yang naratif, komunikatif dan menarik, sehingga harapannya dapat menarik wisatawan untuk menginap. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pembuatan video content creator adalah pengambilan 8-15 video durasi pendek. Hasil akhir video company profil adalah sebuah video profil kualitas HD 1920 x 1080 p, dengan keterbaharuan video profil yang informatif pada vila Sebatu Tulen sebagai sarana pemasaran digital di era baru pandemi sebagai representasi kebangkitan pariwisata bali.

Abstract

The academic institution generally has management quality to measure lecturer performance. It can be estimated from two variables: leadership behavior and organizational culture. This variable needs to be analyzed to determine the relationship between its parameters and forms as correlations strength for identifying the lecturer's performance. This paper proposed a new approach to measure a correlation with two variables, namely the leadership variable and the organizational culture variable. Correlation measurement adopts the Pearson Correlation. It aims to define the correlation strength. Thus, it can show the quality of lecturer performance in an academic institution. Correlation measurement uses seven parameters on leadership variables and seven measurement parameters from organizational culture variables. The experiment shows that five parameter pairs in the two variables have a strong correlation. The highest positive correlation strength is obtained at 0.321 in routine evaluation with behavior parameters. The approaches can be used to determine the lecturer's reward.

Abstract

Virgin coconut oil (VCO) adalah minyak kelapa yang diekstraksi dari buah kelapa. Proses pembuatan VCO memerlukan waktu hingga dapat dikonsumsi atau layak pakai secara langsung. Salah satu UMKM yang memproduksi VCO di daerah Tegallalang, Banjar Pujung Kaja adalah Bali Cebelok Gesiuh Coconut Oil Organic. Usaha ini telah berjalan selama 10 tahun sejak tahun 2012 dan hingga saat ini masih bisa memproduksi VCO. Selain memproduksi VCO, UMKM juga membuka kursus membuat VCO bagi wisatawan. Hasil kunjungan ke UMKM, ditemukan permasalahan dalam hal pemasaran produk yaitu adanya keterbatasan pengenalan proses pembuatan produk VCO. Kelas kursus yang dibuka untuk wisatawan hanya berlaku dalam satu hari, sehingga wisatawan memerlukan bahan pembelajaran yang menarik dalam bentuk video pembelajaran. Sehingga berdasarkan permasalahan dan kondisi di UMKM, dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan pendampingan pembuatan video produk VCO bagi UMKM. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan persiapan bahan pembuatan VCO, proses perekaman video pembuatan VCO dan perekaman video profil dari pemilik UMKM. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian adalah berupa video dokumentasi pembelajaran pembuatan VCO dengan video yang naratif. Video ini bermanfaat untuk UMKM, yang nantinya dapat diberikan kepada wisatawan yang ikut kursus sebagai bahan pembelajaran pembuatan VCO secara mandiri.

Abstract

Pengguna kendaraan sepeda motor meningkat pesat di era pasca pandemic. Pada bulan September 2023, tercatat sebanyak 509.946-unit sepeda motor terjual. Sehingga penjualan ini membuka peluang bagi masyarakat untuk membuka jasa bengkel motor. Usaha bengkel motor dalam bentuk Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) dinilai lebih ekonomis dibandingkan dengan perbaikan ke dealer resmi. Salah satu UMKM Bengkel motor di daerah Tabanan-Bali adalah Eka Motor yang memulai usahanya sejak tahun 2020. Pemilik bengkel memulai usaha bengkel rumahan atas dampak dari masa pandemic. Jenis penjualan dalam bengkel motor ini adalah jasa dan sparepart motor. Hasil sosialisasi ke UMKM ditemukan permasalahan yaitu dalam hal pemasaran. Pemasaran yang dilakukan saat ini adalah melalui WhatsApp dan sosial media istagram, yang dirasa belum optimal. Sehingga dibutuhkan peningkatan teknik pemasaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan penghasilan UMKM. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendampingan dan pelatihan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pemanfaatan sosial media adalah untuk mengenalkan usaha dengan pemasaran digital sehingga dapat meningkatkan penjualan produk atau jasa pada bengkel Eka Motor. Keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian dievaluasi dari jumlah peningkatan penghasilan atau jumlah penjualan produk jasa dan sparepart. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan penghasilan UMKM dan pelanggan baru yang menggunakan jasa perbaikan di bengkel Eka Motor.

Abstract

Dosen memiliki kewajiban Tridarma yaitu wajib melaksanakan pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kemapada masyarakat. Terdapat beberapa variabel yang dapat digunakan dalam mengukur kualitas kinerja dosen, seperti motivasi, kepemimpinanan, budaya organisasi, dan pelatihan. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya memodelkan pengukuran dengan pendekatan klaisifikasi. Namun model klasifikasi perlu dioptimalkan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal, misalnya dalam dengan pengukuran kemiripan data kinerja dosen sehingga mampu mendapatkan model yang optimal. Metode pengukuran kemiripan data dapat digunakan agar dapat mengelompokkan berdasarkan kelompok pola data dan mengurangi data yang bersifat redundant. Semakin banyak data yang memiliki kemiripan maka model akan mengklasifikasikan lebih cepat dan tepat. Penelitian ini melakukan optimasi klasifikasi menggunakan pengukuran kemiripan yaotu euclidean distance untuk mengelompokkan data sehingga didapatkan kelompok data yang serupa dan digunakan dalam pengukuran klasifikasi. Metode klasifikasi yang digunakan adalah naive bayes, dan optimasi menunjukkan model memiliki performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan metode analisis kemiripan data dengan akurasi sebesar 0.757, precision 0.763, recall 0.757 dan F1-score adalah 0.755,. Pendekatan yang diusulkan dapat digunakan di perguruan tinggi untuk mengukur kinerja dosen yang menggunakan metode klasifikasi dengan hasil yang tepat dan cepat.

Abstract

Welding workshop MSMEs are businesses that make doors, light steel roofs, canopies and other materials made from aluminium and iron. Dewi Jaya Welding Workshop MSME is one of the MSMEs in the Tabanan Regency - Bali area, established in 1997. The obstacle faced by this MSME is limited production variants due to limited production equipment, which is still conventional and manual. Besides, several work safety procedures have yet to be carried out optimally. So, in the service activities, activities are proposed to provide production equipment and work safety training to improve, develop production variants, and create a safe environment for working at the Dewi Jaya Welding Workshop UMKM. The method of service activities carried out is mentoring and training. The activity results showed an increase of 2-5 product variants and succeeded in increasing 21% income. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase of 2-5 product variants and succeeded in increasing 18.28% revenue from March to Mei 2024. The new variants produced are a prayer place made of light iron and aluminum, and a kitchen set made of light iron. Income increases based on the number of orders for the new variant product types. This increase is expected to improve the welfare of the Dewi Jaya Welding Workshop MSMEs. The results of training activities show that workers and owners during production have used work safety standards. This was proven during the activity evaluation, workers used safety equipment such as gloves and welding glasses when welding.

Abstract

Machine learning-based classification techniques are widely utilized for accurate analysis in various fields. This study focuses on assessing lecturer performance in higher education to enhance teaching standards and produce high-quality learning outcomes. Previous studies have employed multiparameter approaches, such as statistical correlation analysis, but these methods fail to achieve optimal accuracy and precision due to limited alignment with data characteristics. This research proposes a lecturer performance measurement model by evaluating three machine learning algorithms: k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), Decision Tree, and Na¨pve Bayes. The model integrates three feature selection techniques to improve classification performance: ANOVA, Information Gain, and Chi-Square. The study aims to enhance classification accuracy and assess the impact of feature selection techniques on performance metrics. A significant contribution of this research is introducing a dynamic feature selection approach tailored to data characteristics, which improves classification model performance. The methodology comprises three main stages: data loading and measurement of relevant parameters; data preprocessing, including filtering, cleaning, transformation, normalization, and feature selection; and performance evaluation using a machine learning-based classification approach. Experimental results demonstrate that the Decision Tree algorithm combined with Chi-Square feature selection achieved an accuracy of 0.887, precision of 0.903, recall of 0.887, and F1-score of 0.884. The proposed modelprovides a reliable framework for evaluating lecturer performance and can be utilized to recognize and reward high-performing lecturers effectively.

Abstract

Objectives: Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is oil obtained from the processing of coconuts, this VCO has many benefits, especially for health and beauty. However, this product still faces obstacles in the marketing process. Digital marketing is one solution that can be offered to the Pangsan Ayu group. The purpose of this research is to determine the marketing system used and to determine the appropriate marketing method used by the Pangsan Ayu group.Methodology The research was conducted using a survey method through the use of questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The quantitative and qualitative data obtained were analyzed using statistical analysis with SPSS version 25 application. Primary data was obtained from questionnaires given to 96 respondents, consisting of 90 consumers, 4 producers (Pangsan Ayu group) and 2 representatives of the Pangsan Village government.Finding: The research results show that: The group has carried out the planning stage before carrying out the production process 83.3%. Apart from that, the group has also received training (33.3%) and is skilled in processing VCO (33.3%) and the group has divided work tasks (66.7%) in carrying out production.Conclusion: All consumers, 100% of the 90 people who were respondents, said they had used Pangsan Ayu VCO, had purchased it by order, so they recommended using VCO. Most of the 66.7% VCO oil is sold at IDR 35,000, this price is considered cheap at 34.4% and some say the price is moderate at 61.1%. VCO quality is good at 44.4%, attractive at 44.4% and the information conveyed on the packaging label is complete. Most of Pangsan Ayu's VCO products are 51.1% for beauty and 44.4% for health.

Abstract

During the CoViD-19 pandemic, online learning has a significant role in student learning in secondary schools, especially vocational schools. In this study, we want to know the influence and relationship between online learning and academic quality service. To improve the quality of service and the learning process, this research was conducted at SMK TI Bali Global which consists of several classes. Based on preliminary research in several schools in Bali, almost all learning processes have been supported by adequate laboratory facilities and technology for schools such as LCD projectors, screens and blackboards in each class as well as internet network access. Overall, this study aims to strengthen the belief that online learning is an element that influences academic quality service during the CoViD-19 pandemic. A questionnaire was applied to collect data from students at SMK TI Bali Global. Furthermore, to perform data analysis, statistical methods will be used
