Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) and NPK with various treatment doses on the content of N-total, N-NH4 +, N-NO3 -soil and N uptake of oil palm crops produced. Knowing the appropriate doses of POME and NPK and their interactions for N-total, N-NH4 +, N-NO3 -- and N uptake of oil palm crops produce. This research design used a randomized block design (RBD) factorial with 25 treatments and five replicates. The first factor, namely L (POME) consists of 5 levels of treatment, namely: L0 (0 liter of POME / biopore hole), L1 (2.5 liters of POME / biopore hole), L2 (5.0 liters of POME / biopore hole), L3 (7.5 liters of POME / biopore hole) and L4 (10.0 liters of POME / biopore hole). The second factor, namely P (NPK fertilizer 15:15:15) consists of 5 levels of treatment, namely: P0 (0 kg NPK / plant), P1 (0.5 kg NPK / plant), P2 (1.0 kg NPK / plant), P3 (1.5 kg NPK / plant) and P4 (2.0 kg NPK / plant). The results of this study showed that there was an interaction between the dose of POME and the dose of NPK on N-total soil in the oil palm plantation produced. POME self-treatment has a marked effect on the total soil and the uptake of N-producing oil palm crops. NPK self-treatment had a marked effect on the N-total soil and N uptake of oil palm crops resulted in a treatment of 10 liters of POME and 2 kg of NPK was the best treatment against the increase in total N-total, N-NH4 +, N-NO3 - soil and N uptake of plants.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Nurul Jadid adalah ponpes yang terletak di Jalan Raya Kumpai, Desa Sungai Ambangah, Kecamatan Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan operasional, lahan kosong seluas 6 Ha milik Yayasan digunakan untuk membuat usaha peternakan kambing dan berencana untuk mengembangkan lahan pertanian berupa sayur-sayuran yang dikelola oleh santri tingkat Aliyah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dirancang yaitu melalui partisipasi aktif mitra pada pembuatan TTG. Kegiatan dibagi menjadi dua yaitu penyuluhan berupa penyampaian materi dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk cair organik dan kompos dengan tambahan Trichoderma. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji aplikasi pada tanaman sayuran di lahan milik pondok pesantren. Pembuatan pupuk organik sangat efektif dilakukan secara mandiri di pondok pesantren untuk menunjang produksi sayuran di lahan potensial milik ponpes. Selain itu juga pupuk yang dihasilkan dapat dijual untuk meningkatkan pendapatan guna menunjang biaya operasional ponpes. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta meningkat sebanyak 77,78%.

Abstract

Salah satu komoditas yang biasa dikembangkan di wilayah ini adalah cabai besar dengan hasil produksi 4,19 ton. Dalam mendukung program pemerintah mengenai peingkatan produksi pangan nasional, salah satu yang menjadi fokus adalah komoditas hortikultura, dalam hal ini cabai. Komoditas ini merupakan salah satu komoditas yang banyak dikonsumsi dan memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu penyluhan, praktek pembuatan pupuk organik cair dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan pada khlayak sasaran Kelompok Tani Karang Taruna. Hasil pupuk organik cari spesifik tanaman cabai mempunyai hara lengkap, seluruh peserta mengetahui inforamasi mengenai produk pupuk organik cari saat pelatihan oleh tim PPM Politeknik Negeri Pontianak, hasil analisis finansial dari pengelolahan limbah lokal menjadi pupuk organik cari ini cukup potensial untuk menginkatkan petani di dareah Rasau Jaya.

Abstract

Brotowali stems (Tinaspora crispa. L) contains compounds that can be used as vegetable pesticides. The purpose of this study was to determine the phytochemical content present in brotowali stems, and effective concentrations of brotowali on mortality of O. rhinoceros larvae. This study used a Factorial Complete Ran domized Design with 6 treatments and 3 repeats, using concentrations of 0%, 10%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. The first factor is brotowali stem extract and the second factor is the method of application. The parameters observed were yield, phytochemical compounds, mortality, time of death 50% (LT50), and Lethal concentration (LC50). The results showed that brotowali stem extract contains phytochemical compounds, namely alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, steroids, and terpenoids.  The yield produced from the rotary evaporator is 12.6%. Giving brotowali stem extract had a very real effect on the mortality of O. rhinoceros. BNJ further tests showed that 50% treatment had a very real effect with mortality of 66.67% in the feed application method, on the 11th day with a concentration of 50% and 40% feed method, then for an effective concentration to kill O. rhinoceros larvae, 50% was a concentration of 37.23% in the feed application method while in the spray application method, it could kill O. rhinoceros larvae 50% with a concentration of 63.86%.

Abstract

This study aimed to utilize kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata L.) leaf extract (KLE) as a plant-based insecticide for pest control in Oryctes rhinoceros L. The research was conducted for 4 months, from April to July 2023, at the Pontianak State Polytechnic Plantation Plant Science Laboratory. Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and 5 Replications. The treatment are 0% (without KLE, as a control); 30% (30 ml KLE + 100 ml aquades); 40% (40 ml KLE + 100 ml aquades); 50% (50 ml KLE + 100 ml aquades); and 60% (60 ml KLE + 100 ml aquades). Each treatment was repeated 5 times for 25 treatment units, with each treatment unit storing as many as ten larvae of O rhinoceros L. The variables observed were the symptoms of death and the mortality rate of O rhinoceros L. The data obtained were analyzed with ANOVA, and continued by analyzing the Smallest Real Difference test with α = 95%. The results showed that all O rhinoceros L. larvae treated with KLE experienced death symptoms with colour changes from brown to blackish. The highest mortality rate occurred in the treatment of 30% of KLE, with the fastest time of death being 22 days. It can be concluded that KLE has flavonoid phytochemical compounds, alkaloids, tannins, and saponins.  Kirinyuh leaf extract significantly affected the mortality of larvae III Oryctes rhinoceros L. with Lethal Concentrate (LC50) of 23.85% concentration and Lethal Time (LT50) of 22.86 days.  The concentration between kirinyuh leaf extract treatments had no significant effect on the mortality of Oryctes rhinoceros L larvae.

Abstract

Ganoderma sp. is a pathogenic fungus that causes basal stem rot in oil palms, leading to significant yield losses. This study explores the antifungal potential of Uncaria gambir Roxb. extract against Ganoderma sp. using in silico and in vitro methods. In silico analysis from the KNApSAcK and PASS Online databases identified 18 secondary metabolites with probability activity (Pa) values ranging from 0.5 to 0.7, indicating high potential. Cinchonain Ia, an alkaloid with the highest Pa value of 0.638, has poor solubility. In vitro tests on U. gambir extract at various concentrations (0%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, and 3%) showed that the extract was ineffective in inhibiting the growth of Ganoderma sp. Further research with variations in solvents, extraction methods, and formulations is needed to optimize the antifungal activity of this extract.

Abstract

Isomitrafoline and Speciophylline show the strongest general Anesthetic (92.2) compared to other ligands. This study aims to determine the effect of gambir leaf extract on the growth of Curvularia sp. fungus and the concentration of extract that can inhibit 50% of the growth of fungal colonies. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 variations of extract concentration (0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%), each repeated 6 times. The results showed that the highest concentration of gambir leaf extract in inhibiting fungal growth was at a concentration of 15%. LC 50% analysis revealed that the concentration required to achieve 50% inhibition was 118.16%, indicating that the effectiveness of the extract against Curvularia sp. fungus is low or less toxic
