Abstract

Introduction: The management of waste is an issue that must be taken into consideration in any climate change mitigation debate. The Waste Bank initiative in Padang Indah Hamlet Hall, Padangsambian Klod area has been successful in reducing waste volume through sorting recycling. This bottom-up approach has not only helped in cleaning the environment but also enhanced economic activities in the area. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the Waste Bank in fostering public environmental cleanliness, increasing awareness, and enhancing economic activities. Further, it seeks to understanding how waste sorting and recycling leads to environmental improvement and greater community participation. Method: Data was collected for this study using field observations, focus group interviews with selected Waste Bank participants, and comparison of waste reduction statistics. The study was interested in the processes of waste collection, sorting, and selling to understand its impact on economic and community participation. Result: The overall results of the study point that the Waste Bank contributes in improving the environmental welfare, encourages the people to learn how to take care of waste, and enhances the participants’ income. The program encourages more people and organizations to value and take action in protecting the environment through sustainable community efforts. Conclusion: The Waste Bank provides an all-embracing solution for waste management by integrating economic and socio-cultural aspects. It leads to a cleaner environment and participates community sustainable waste management by encouraging local involvement.

Abstract

Education on waste sorting is an important strategy in implementing environmental law at the community level. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of waste sorting education carried out by PEPS officers in Kesiman Kertalangu Village. The method used is a qualitative approach with interviews and observation as data collection techniques. The research results show that this outreach not only increases public awareness about the importance of waste segregation, but also strengthens compliance with existing environmental regulations. In addition, active community participation in this program contributes to reducing the volume of waste and improving environmental quality. The conclusion of this research recommends the need to increase the frequency and quality of education so that more people are involved and understand legal aspects related to waste management.Keywords:  Environmental Law, Counseling, Waste Sorting

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana sertifikasi halal memengaruhi persepsi konsumen terhadap kualitas dan keputusan pembelian mereka di Shopee Food. 100 mahasiswa Muslim di Denpasar berpartisipasi dalam survei sebagai bagian dari pendekatan kuantitatif, dan PLS-SEM digunakan untuk mengevaluasi hasilnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi halal dan kualitas yang dirasakan memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen untuk membeli. Selain itu, sertifikasi halal juga meningkatkan kualitas yang dirasakan. Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas yang dirasakan merupakan mediator antara sertifikasi halal dan keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini menyoroti peran penting sertifikasi halal dalam meningkatkan kualitas yang dirasakan dan mendorong pembelian produk halal online, serta memberikan informasi berharga bagi pelaku bisnis dan pembuat kebijakan untuk merancang strategi pemasaran dan regulasi yang efektif dalam industri makanan halal

Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia provides a great opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to expand their market reach. Shopee is one of the most widely used Marketplace platforms, equipped with digital communication features that enable sellers to build direct relationships with customers. However, the furniture sector faces its own challenges due to the large and heavy nature of its products. This certainly requires effective communication in the transaction process to ensure success. Previous studies have generally examined CRM implementation in the retail or fashion sector, but research focusing on the furniture business in marketplace platforms is still very limited. This shows the need to specifically explore how CRM is applied in product categories with unique characteristics, such as furniture. The purpose of this study is to examine how Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is implemented at Shopee Mebel Dua Putra using digital interactions while identifying the problems encountered. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results show that CRM is implemented through three stages, namely acquisition, retention, and loyalty. However, implementation is still inconsistent due to limited digital literacy, lack of admin response, and suboptimal utilization of Shopee features. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on analyzing CRM practices in the furniture sector through Shopee as a marketplace platform, highlighting the communication strategies and challenges that differ from other UMKM sectors. findings emphasize the importance of a consistent digital communication strategy to strengthen trust, increase satisfaction, and foster customer loyalty in the context of Marketplace-based UMKM, particularly Shopee.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh literasi digital dan keamanan digital terhadap tingkat kepuasan pengguna QRIS di kalangan mahasiswa Gen-Z di Kota Denpasar, serta menganalisis peran keamanan digital sebagai variabel moderasi dalam hubungan tersebut. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan untuk memperoleh data dari 108 responden mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik non-probability sampling, yaitu quota dan insidental sampling. Responden yang terlibat berasal dari berbagai kecamatan di Denpasar, dengan rentang usia mayoritas antara 17 hingga 24 tahun dan latar belakang gender yang beragam. Data dikumpulkan secara daring menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi indikator penilaian terhadap literasi digital, persepsi keamanan digital, dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna QRIS. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS, yang memungkinkan pengujian hubungan kausal sekaligus signifikansi antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik literasi digital maupun persepsi keamanan digital memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna QRIS. Sementara itu, keamanan digital tidak terdeteksi berperan sebagai variabel moderasi yang signifikan dalam memperkuat hubungan antara literasi digital dan kepuasan pengguna. Temuan ini menyarankan pentingnya meningkatkan literasi digital dan keamanan layanan secara langsung agar dapat meningkatkan pengalaman dan kepuasan pengguna QRIS. Rekomendasi untuk pengelola platform QRIS adalah memperbaiki aspek teknis, seperti kecepatan transaksi dan stabilitas sistem, sekaligus memperkuat edukasi literasi dan keamanan digital kepada pengguna.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti peran komunikasi dalam mempromosikan bisnis kecantikan, khususnya di Salon and SPA, dengan fokus pada tantangan dalam implementasi influencer marketing communication di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan influencer marketing communication, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam di The Bee Salon and SPA Sanur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi dari influencer dapat meningkatkan persepsi positif konsumen, brand awareness, dan keputusan pembelian. Faktor kunci meliputi kepercayaan yang dibangun oleh influencer, relevansi konten, dan interaksi dimedia sosial. Namun, tantangan muncul yang mengharuskan proses influencer marketing communication dilakukan secara strategis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perusahaan salon untuk memanfaatkan influencer marketing communication dengan evaluasi berkelanjutan terhadap kolaborasi untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan nilai dan citra salon, serta menyarankan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai strategi komunikasi yang mendukung influencer marketing communication.

Abstract

The community service activity which was carried out in the Panjer Traditional Village, Denpasar aims to help overcome flooding in the Panjer Traditional Village area by installing hundreds of biopore holes. Biopores are small holes made at the surface of the soil with the aim of increasing the soil's absorption of rainwater. This method was first developed by Dr. Kamir R. Brata from the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) as a solution to overcome the problem of waterlogging and urban flooding. Biopore holes are made using special tools to drill the soil to a certain depth, usually filled with organic matter such as leaves or food scraps. This organic matter will then be broken down by soil microorganisms, creating empty spaces that increase soil porosity. The activity was carried out simultaneously with hundreds of students and lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. There are 14 groups divided into this biopore hole installation activity. The installation locations are spread across several points starting from the Waturenggong Street area to the end of Jalan Tukad Yeh Aya. The main function of biopores is to increase the absorption of groundwater, so that it can help reduce the risk of flooding and waterlogging. In addition, biopores also function to improve soil structure and increase soil fertility by adding organic matter. Another benefit of biopores is that it helps the process of recycling organic waste into compost that is beneficial to plants.

Abstract

Desa Sibang Gede Abiansemal Bali, memiliki potensi besar untuk pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, banyak UMKM di desa ini masih kesulitan dalam mempromosikan produk mereka kepada konsumen. Media sosial Instagram dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk mempromosikan produk UMKM kepada khalayak yang lebih luas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan UMKM di Desa Sibang Gede Abiansemal Bali dalam menggunakan media sosial Instagram dalam promosi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan dan seminar yang membahas berbagai topik terkait penggunaan Instagram untuk bisnis, seperti pemahaman mendalam tentang platform Instagram, strategi untuk mengidentifikasi dan menargetkan audience, praktik langsung dalam pembuatan konten Instagram, serta pemantauan dan analisis kinerja konten. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru tentang penggunaan Instagram sebagai media promosi, peserta juga antusias untuk menerapkan apa yang telah mereka pelajari dalam pelatihan dan seminar, hal ini dapat membangun merek yang kuat, menarik perhatian audiens, dan mencapai kesuksesan dalam promosi produk mereka di dunia digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of a mother’s loneliness in the film Bila Esok Ibu Tiada through Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic perspective. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with textual and visual analysis of the film as the primary data. Saussure’s semiotics—particularly the relationship between signifier and signified, and the concept of langue and parole—are used to interpret the meanings embedded in the mother’s loneliness. The findings indicate that loneliness is represented through verbal and non-verbal signs, including dialogue, facial expressions, mise-en-scène, and cinematographic composition. The contrast between the mother’s domestic space and her emotional isolation illustrates the separation between social reality and inner experience. The study reveals that the film constructs loneliness not merely as an emotional condition but as a social discourse reflecting the marginalization of women’s roles in modern families. In conclusion, Saussurean semiotics provides a framework for understanding how cinematic language conveys complex meanings of maternal loneliness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital marketing communication strategies of the SBT Enhypen fandom community in promoting K-Pop merchandise through the X platform (formerly Twitter). As part of the global K-Pop culture, fandoms have become active agents of digital marketing, transforming fan participation into a form of collective consumption and brand advocacy. Using a theoretical study approach, this research explores how communication strategies on social media—particularly on X—serve to build awareness, engagement, and loyalty among fans. The analysis draws upon concepts of digital marketing communication, the promotion mix, and the AIDA model. The findings reveal that fandom-based digital marketing employs a combination of interactive communication, emotional attachment, and cultural identity narratives to drive consumption behavior. Moreover, the SBT Enhypen community illustrates how user-generated content, hashtags, and real-time interactions can function as powerful tools for product dissemination and fan mobilization. In conclusion, digital marketing communication within fandoms not only contributes to product promotion but also reinforces the cultural ecosystem of participatory media in contemporary pop culture.
