Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the declining performance of the footwear industry, which requires companies to improve the effectiveness of human resourcemanagement and operational systems. The purpose of this study is to analyze theeffect of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, work culture, andleadership on employee performance with work motivation as a moderating variableat PT. Pratama Abadi Industri. The study used a quantitative approach with a surveymethod by distributing questionnaires to 220 employees determined using theRoscoe method. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–PartialLeast Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that ERP implementation, workculture, and leadership had a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance. However, work motivation was not proven to moderate the effect ofERP implementation, work culture, and leadership on employee performance. Thisfinding indicates that employee performance improvements are more influenced bydirect system optimization and managerial practices than by the role of motivationas a moderating variable. Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of instructional strategies and the availability of educational technology on learning effectiveness through student engagement in Vocational Training Institutions in Karawang Regency, Indonesia. The research addresses a gap in the non-formal education literature by elucidating the mediating mechanism of student engagement within an integrated structural model. An explanatory quantitative approach was employed using a cross-sectional design. Data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The sample consisted of 185 teachers selected through proportional random sampling from a population of 208 teachers. The findings indicate that instructional strategies significantly influence learning effectiveness (? = 0.562; p < 0.001) and student engagement (? = 0.410; p < 0.001). The availability of educational technology also significantly affects learning effectiveness (? = 0.429; p < 0.001) and student engagement (? = 0.408; p < 0.001). Furthermore, student engagement has a significant positive effect on learning effectiveness (? = 0.408; p < 0.001). The R² value demonstrates that the model explains 66.5% of the variance in learning effectiveness. Mediation analysis confirms that student engagement partially mediates the relationship between both exogenous variables and learning effectiveness. These findings highlight that improving learning effectiveness in vocational training institutions depends not only on instructional strategies and technological availability but also on their capacity to foster active student engagement.

Abstract

The problem of this research departs from the low performance of sustainable human resources (HR) in mining companies in East Kalimantan. This phenomenon is characterized by high turnover rates, low employee engagement, weak conflict of interest management, and low perception of organizational fairness. This condition indicates structural and psychosocial problems that hinder the formation of strong organizational commitments, which ultimately leads to a decline in long-term performance consistency. This research is directed to explore the impact of organizational justice and ability to manage conflicts of interest on organizational commitments, as well as its implications for the sustainability of human resource (HR) performance in the mining sector in East Kalimantan. In addition, this study investigates the function of organizational commitment as a mediator in the relationship between organizational justice, conflict of interest management, and sustainable human resource performance. Quantitative methods are used, with a correlational research design. This study involved all employees of mining companies totaling 1,669 people; The proportional random sampling technique was used to sample as many as 190 people from them. The data collection tool is a questionnaire created based on theoretical indicators for each variable. The direct and indirect relationships between variables were tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using a Smart PLS device for data analysis. The results of the study show that organizational fairness benefits organizational commitment and HR performance. In addition, the ability to manage conflicts of interest also benefits organizational commitment and human resource performance. In addition, organizational commitment benefits overall HR performance. In addition, organizational commitment as a mediation variable has an indirect impact on organizational justice and the ability to manage conflicts of interest on performance. This research shows that sustainable improvement of human resource performance does not only depend on technical components, but also requires the improvement of psychosocial elements such as conflict of interest management and organizational justice. Therefore, mining companies in East Kalimantan must create a fair and transparent system and implement a collaborative conflict management strategy. Ultimately, these measures will result in a high organizational commitment, which will ensure the sustainability of human resource performance and support the achievement of long-term business targets and compliance with sustainability (ESG) principles

Abstract

Scouting education is part of the national education system and plays a vital role in shaping students' character, skills, and personality through a systematic, continuous development process. Scouting not only functions as an extracurricular activity, but also as a non-formal educational vehicle that supports the national education goal of developing people who are faithful, moral, independent, and possess life skills. In this context, the quality of development is greatly influenced by the competence and performance of scout leaders. This study aims to analyse the influence of scouting education and organisational experience on skills and their implications for the performance of scout leaders in the Menes District, Pandeglang Regency. The study used a quantitative, explanatory design. Data were collected through questionnaires from 98 scout leaders who served as respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modelling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that scouting education and organisational experience had a positive, significant effect on scout leader skills. In addition, scouting education, organisational experience, and skills significantly affected scout leader performance. Skills have been shown to have the strongest influence on performance and to mediate the relationship between scouting education and organisational experience on scoutmaster performance. These findings indicate that improved scoutmaster performance is not solely determined by education and organisational experience, but also by strengthening skills relevant to the coaching task. Therefore, developing sustainable scouting education, increasing organisational involvement, and strengthening scoutmaster skills programs are important strategies to improve the quality of scouter training in educational units.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a key factor in determining the quality of education. However, it is influenced not only by individual competence but also by organisational factors, such as the work environment, organisational climate, and job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effects of the work environment and organisational climate on job satisfaction and their implications for teacher performance in public elementary schools in Bojong Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to 100 teachers and analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that both the work environment and organisational climate have positive and significant effects on teachers' job satisfaction. Job satisfaction was found to be the most dominant factor influencing teacher performance and also functioned as a mediating variable linking organisational factors to performance. In addition, the work environment and organisational climate had direct, significant effects on teacher performance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening organisational conditions in schools to improve teacher performance. This study contributes to the development of educational management research by providing an integrated model linking work environment, organisational climate, job satisfaction, and teacher performance.

Abstract

This study examines the role of information technology (IT) in improving the performance of rural enterprises, with a specific focus on Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Banten Province, Indonesia. While digital transformation has reshaped business practices, many rural enterprises continue to rely on manual systems, limiting efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness. This study adopts a qualitative narrative literature review approach to synthesize existing knowledge on IT adoption and organizational performance in rural enterprise contexts. The review draws on approximately 30–40 academic sources published between 2014 and 2026, including peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and institutional reports retrieved from databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and SINTA. Data were analyzed using content and thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and conceptual relationships. The review identifies four dominant themes linking IT adoption to rural enterprise performance: operational efficiency, data-informed decision-making, financial transparency, and business competitiveness. Rather than providing direct empirical evidence, this study integrates prior findings to develop a conceptual framework that explains how IT contributes to performance improvement under varying levels of digital readiness. The study contributes by offering a synthesized and integrative perspective on IT adoption in rural enterprises and by proposing a framework that highlights the roles of digital literacy, infrastructure readiness, and institutional support as enabling conditions. However, as a literature-based review, this study does not establish causal relationships and should be interpreted as a conceptual foundation that requires further empirical validation.
