Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the direct and indirect effects of these variables on employee performance through the work environment. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with a quantitative approach, involving 90 respondents from 97 ASN population. The results showed that leadership has a positive and significant influence on the work environment (β=0.310; t=2.904; p=0.004), and affects employee performance (β=0.287; t=3.186; p=0.002). Financial compensation has a significant positive effect on the work environment (β=0.664; t=6.442; p=0.000), and affects employee performance (β=0.271; t=2.226; p=0.026). The work environment itself has a positive and significant influence on work productivity (β=0.432; t=3.559; p=0.000). In addition, leadership and incentives have a significant effect on employee performance through the work environment, with coefficient values β = 0.134 (t=2.124; p=0.034) and β = 0.286 (t=3.270; p=0.001).This research provides important insights for improving the performance of ASN employees of the Regional Revenue Agency (DISPENDA) of Pandeglang Regency by emphasizing the importance of humanist leadership, increasing financial compensation and making the work environment better. These strategies can create more productive employee performance.

Abstract

Environmental pollution in coastal areas, particularly due to inorganic waste such as plastic, poses a serious threat to ecosystems and tourism aesthetics. In response, students of Universitas Bina Bangsa carried out a Beach Clean Up program at Pulomerak Kecil Beach, Cilegon City, as part of their community service project (KKN). This activity aimed to raise awareness among local residents and visitors about the importance of coastal cleanliness through direct action and environmental education. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the program involved cleaning the shoreline, installing educational banners, and conducting outreach on the impacts of pollution. The initiative successfully engaged students, youth groups, and local communities, fostering social solidarity and a culture of environmental care. The results demonstrate that participatory and educational approaches are effective in promoting sustainable environmental practices in tourist areas.

Abstract

This study aims to introduce ecoprint art as a creative educational medium and a means of environmental conservation for elementary school students. The activity was carried out by students from Universitas Bina Bangsa at SD Negeri Tembulun, Kelurahan Mekarsari, through a series of stages including socialization, ecoprint technique demonstration, hands-on student practice, and reflection. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that students were highly enthusiastic during the ecoprint-making process and were able to understand the connection between art and the environment. The activity not only enhanced students’ creativity but also fostered their awareness of utilizing natural materials and the importance of environmental preservation from an early age. In addition, the program received positive responses from teachers and the school, who expressed interest in continuing the initiative as a sustainable program. Thus, ecoprint has proven to be an effective contextual learning method that can be implemented in elementary education, particularly in instilling environmental values through an artistic approach

Abstract

The rise in cases of risky adolescent behavior and the lack of understanding regarding reproductive health have become contributing factors to the increasing spread of HIV/AIDS among young people. This community engagement activity aims to raise adolescents’ awareness of the dangers of promiscuity and the importance of maintaining reproductive health as a preventive measure against HIV/AIDS. The interactive socialization was conducted at MTSS AL-FATHU, located in Mekarsari Sub-district, Pulomerak District, Cilegon City, using a participatory approach involving group discussions, educational video screenings, case simulations, and Q&A sessions. The participants were junior high school students aged 12–15 years. The results showed an increase in students’ knowledge and understanding of the negative impacts of promiscuity and the significance of early reproductive health awareness. This program received positive responses from both students and school staff, who expressed interest in similar initiatives being conducted regularly. Therefore, interactive socialization proves to be an effective method in shaping adolescent awareness and positive attitudes toward reproductive issues and HIV/AIDS prevention.

Abstract

The food and drink industry is a downstream part of agriculture that plays a big role in promoting the use of local raw resources and making communities better places to live. Rosella flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is a commodit with development potential. li offers several health benefits and can be turned into different producis, such as herbal syrup. Mr. Hatibi is a seller in Mekarsari Village who uses rosella, but they still have problems with business legaliy, processing stills, and marketing of their products. The purpose of this communir; service activin is to help M. Hatibi's business grow by teaching him how to make rosella syrup and help them obtain a Buriness Identification Number (NIB) and halal certificate. Some of the tactics used include product processing training, buriness management workshops, development of production SOPS, digital marketing focus group discussions (FGDS), and regular evaluations. The findings of the activity revealed that the parmers have successfully obtained business licenses in the form of NIB and hala! certification. They can now mate and sell rosella syrup more widely, both in stores and online.

Abstract

This appropriate technology implementation program was carried out by a community service team from Universitas Bina Bangsa in Mekarsari Village, Pulomerak District, Cilegon City, focusing on the economic and agricultural sectors. The program aimed to address the challenges faced by UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Masaru Berkah Medaksa in marketing its passion fruit herbal products, as well as the Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) farmers group that still relied on traditional planting methods. The solutions provided included the development of a website as a digital marketing platform and the design of a seed-fertilizer spreader to improve agricultural efficiency. The implementation method consisted of observation, interviews, design, implementation, training, and participatory evaluation. The results showed that the website successfully enhanced the professional image and market reach of the UMKM, while the seed-fertilizer spreader accelerated the planting process, reduced farmer fatigue, and produced more uniform seed distribution. This program not only delivered direct benefits in improving the local economy and agricultural efficiency but also fostered community awareness of the importance of sustainable use of simple, locally-based technologies.

Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia is partly due to the weak role of teachers in exploring students' potential. Teachers often impose their will without considering students' interests and talents, so that their potential does not develop optimally. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and financial management on the availability of infrastructure and its implications for the quality of education in public elementary schools in Pandeglang Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument to 105 teachers, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS 3.0. The results showed that leadership did not significantly influence the quality of education or infrastructure. In contrast, financial management had a positive and significant effect on the quality of education (t-statistic 2.299; p-value 0.011) and the availability of infrastructure (t-statistic 24.521; p-value 0.000). In addition, the availability of infrastructure was also proven to influence the quality of education (t-statistic 3.032; p-value 0.001). These findings confirm that the quality of education is more influenced by financial management and infrastructure than leadership.

Abstract

In recent years, attention to the quality of education has increased significantly. As policymakers and stakeholders recognize the essential role of education in driving social and economic development, ensuring that students acquire relevant knowledge and skills for their future success has become a critical concern. This study was conducted at public elementary schools (SDN) in Pulosari District, Pandeglang Regency, aiming to examine the influence of teacher professionalism and the implementation of continuous professional development (CPD) on educational quality, as well as its impact on teacher quality. The research employed descriptive analysis based on index scores, while Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used for inferential analysis. The SEM-PLS analysis included evaluation of the outer and inner models, followed by testing seven formulated hypotheses. The study involved 144 teachers across seven SDN in Pulosari, with sample selection determined proportionally. The findings reveal that five hypotheses were supported, while two were not. Teacher professionalism demonstrated a significant impact on both teacher quality and educational outcomes. In contrast, continuous professional development did not show a direct significant effect on educational quality, although it did positively influence teacher quality. Furthermore, teacher quality was found to significantly affect educational quality. Among the two mediation hypotheses, only one was accepted: the mediating role of teacher quality between teacher professionalism and educational quality. The mediating effect of teacher quality in the relationship between CPD and educational quality was not supported. In conclusion, both teacher professionalism and CPD serve as important indicators of educational quality. However, CPD cannot be considered a direct predictor of improvements in educational outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan kerja serta implementasinya terhadap komitmen organisasi di PT Parkland World Indonesia 1 Kabupaten Serang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Parkland World Indonesia sebanyak 496 karyawan. Untuk mendapatkan sampel yang representatif peneliti menggunakan rumus untuk mencari data yang lebih akurat. Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan rumus Slovin, jadi sampel yang digunakan penelitian adalah 83 responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan Transformasional (X1) terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi (Z), Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Komunikasi Interpersonal (X2) terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi (Z), Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Komitmen Organisasi (Z) terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Y), Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan Transformasional (X1) terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Y), Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Komunikasi Interpersonal (X2) terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Y), Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Komitmen Organisasi mampu memediasi pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran kepemimpinan transformasional dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja pada PT. Communication Cable Systems Indonesia Di Cilegon. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif berjenis deskriptif Asosiatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 83 pegawai PT. Communication Cable Systems Indonesia Di Cilegon. Penelitian asosiatif merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ataupun juga hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih, dimana proses pengambilan sampel dari suatu populasi serta digunakannya kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data yang pokok. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kepada 83 (delapan puluh tiga) responden dengan pengukuran skala Likert dan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Hasil perhitungan efek secara langsung kepemimpinan transformasional (X1), lingkungan kerja (X2), kepuasan kerja (Z) terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y). Hasil perhitungan X1 terhadap Y dengan nilai p-values 0,018 < 0,05. Hasil perhitungan X2 terhadap Y dengan nilai p-values 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil perhitungan X1 terhadap Z dengan nilai p-values 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil perhitungan X2 terhadap Z dengan nilai p-values 0,041 > 0,05. Hasil perhitungan Z terhadap Y dengan nilai p-values 0,149 > 0,05. Kepemimpinan transformasional (X1) melalui kepuasan kerja (Z) terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y) nilai p-values 0,021 < 0,05 sedangkan lingkungan kerja (X2) melalui kepuasan kerja (Z) terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y) nilai p-values 0,032 < 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, lingkungan kerja melalui kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai
