Abstract

One important factor that can affect the quality of human resources in supporting the development of a country is the health status of the community. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by describing or describing a social symptom, in other words, this research aims to describe something that is ongoing at the time of the study. The results showed that the lifestyle in class VIII students of SMP N 7 Jember is quite high in understanding clean and healthy living behaviour; lifestyle towards personal hygiene is quite high; lifestyle towards environmental hygiene is quite high; lifestyle towards illness and disease is less high; and lifestyle towards habits that damage Jember's health is quite high.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi walimurid dan penggunaan Sport Search terhadap pemilihan bakat dan minat siswa dalam cabang olahragaa tletik di SDN Sumberlesung 01 Semester Genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian adalah survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria: (1) siswa putra dan putri Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sumberlesung 01 Semester Genap, (2) usia 10-12 tahun, (3) Sanggup mengikuti seluruh rangkaian TKJI, dan (4) tidak dalam keadan sakit. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut yang memenuhi sebanyak 40 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan tes Sport Search untuk usia 10-12 tahun. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pasrtisipasi walimurid berjalan lurus seimbang dengan bakat dan keinginan siswadi SDN Sumberlesung 01 Semester Genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024 secara keseluruhan berada pada: kategori “kurang sekali” sebesar 0% (0 siswa), “kurang” sebesar 5% (3 siswa), “sedang” sebesar 20% (7siswa), “baik” sebesar 25% (10 siswa), dan “baik sekali” sebesar 50% (20 siswa).

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the level of management of sports facilities and teacher services in relation to the effectiveness of physical education in high schools. In this study, the researchers employed a descriptive survey research method. The participants of this study consisted of physical education instructors and eleventh-grade students from public high schools in Banyuwangi Regency, comprising a total of 3500 students. A random sampling procedure was employed, resulting in a sample size of 95 pupils. Two commonly used methods for collecting data are questionnaires and documentation. The author conducted data analysis using various statistical tests, including the correlation coefficient test, the coefficient of determination, the t test, and the F test. Based on the findings of the study, it has been determined that: 1) The school's facility management is deemed adequate; 2) The services rendered by teachers are deemed satisfactory. There is sufficient quality in both facility management and instructor services.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2025 Curriculum brings significant changes to the educational paradigm, including in Physical Education (PE) subjects. This curriculum emphasizes the development of holistic competencies, which include cognitive, motor, and affective aspects. This study aims to compare the physical education management models between sports-based schools and regular schools in East Java Province in facing the demands of this new curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a comparative case study method. The research subjects consisted of teachers, principals, and physical education coordinators from two selected Sports-based schools and two Regular schools. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. It was found that Sports-based schools have advantages in terms of time allocation, teacher qualifications, and facilities. However, Regular schools showed flexibility in integrating the curriculum with other subjects. Both types of schools faced different challenges in terms of evaluation and parental involvement. Sports-Based Schools were better prepared in terms of infrastructure and human resources, while Regular schools showed better adaptation in holistic pedagogical approaches.
