Abstract

As is known, students' active learning will grow and be visible if the classroom conditions are enjoyable for them. Furthermore, the class atmosphere will be pleasant if students are active in class. Students' active learning in class can be stimulated through the use of appropriate teaching strategies by teachers. One strategy that is appropriate to use is the Discovery Learning learning strategy, which is a strategy that involves students playing an active role in learning by training students to think critically through problem solving by formulating hypotheses, searching for information, analyzing, and arriving at conclusions. Through this strategy, the problem of students often not doing assignments, and others will be resolved. The research method used in writing this journal is the library study method, namely by collecting some information through books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and also through other sources that are relevant to the title of this journal. Keywords: active learning of students, Discovery Learning Strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect of giving reinforcement on student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan in the 2023/2024 Learning Year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of all VIII graders at SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan totaling 110 people with a sample of 44 people. Data were collected with a questionnaire of 35 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to theory. The questionnaire test was conducted on 30 students in the same place, namely SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan, the questionnaire of variable x was tested and it was found that all items were valid. With the validity test rcount (0.40 - 0.69) > rtable (0.05,30) = 0.361 and the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.883190. The results of the validity of the questionnaire test of variable y with the validity test rcount (0.38 - 0.78) > rtable (0.05,30) = 0.361 and the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.8558508.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much positive and significant influence the Role Playing Model has on the active learning of Christian Religious Education and Character Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods. The population is all 120 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Christians and the sample was determined to be 48 people, namely 40% of the total population using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using 47 positive closed items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Role Playing Model on the learning activity of Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship to obtain a score rxy = 0.561 > rtable(a=0.05,n=48) = 0.284, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable .05,dk=n-2=46)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable The regression equation Y ̂="20.68"+0.74X is obtained. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much positive and significant the influence of visual learning is on the learning motivation of Christian religious education students in IX SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive statistics. The population is all 160 class IX students of SMP N 4 Tarutung, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians and a sample of 40 people was determined using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 52 items, namely 24 items for variable North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year, proven through the following data analysis: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.589 > Itabel(-0.05,n=40) = 0.312. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a t value of 4.498 t table (= 0.05, dk = n-2-38) = 2.021. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y=42.15+0.65X = 42.15 +0.65X, b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r²) = 34.7%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=23, dk denominator-n-2-40-2-38) namely 20.21 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
