Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Pear Deck dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada teks deskripsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis konten atau studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Pear Deck dapat menjadi media pembelajaran interaktif yang mendukung interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Fitur-fitur yang disediakan oleh Pear Deck memungkinkan pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, aplikasi Pear Deck dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the irrigators of ethno-religious based jigsaw models to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning Islamic religious education in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. This study analyzed 27 effect sizes obtained from Google scholars, ERIC, Wiley, and Taylor of Francis from the 2021-2024 issue with 1034 students. The JASP application assists the data analysis in this study.  Effect size analysis is calculated with a 95% confidence level. The study results concluded that the effect size value obtained through the random effect model was 1,952 (high effect size category). These findings explain that, on average, students who apply the ethno-religious-based jigsaw model are effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in learning Islam. This study provides important information on using the jigsaw model in the future.

Abstract

One way to write comments and make posts in captions is to use languages commonly used on Facebook social media platforms in everyday life, such as Indonesian, local dialects, or English. The aim of this study is to describe the misuse of the Indonesian language on Facebook in Islamic content and to highlight the misunderstandings in the use of the Indonesian language on Facebook in Muslim content. This study employs a qualitative method, analyzing errors in caption language style and comments on Facebook's Islamic content, used as a communication medium to exchange thoughts among users. The results reveal errors in the use of Indonesian on Facebook in Islamic content, including spelling errors, improper dictionary use, and grammatical errors. Additionally, misunderstandings in the use of Indonesian on Facebook in Muslim content arise from variations in communication styles among users. To improve the quality of Indonesian language use in Islamic content on Facebook, it is necessary to undertake education that covers both language aspects and a deep understanding of Islamic values.

Abstract

Peningkatan pemahaman bahasa Indonesia mutlak harus terus diupayakan, sebagai langkah strategis penguatan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara teoritis dan empiris tentang penguatan karakter melalui etika berbahasa. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan nilai-nilai karakter melalui etika berbahasa dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman terhadap penggunaan bahasa yang baik dan benar, pemilihan buku bacaan untuk anak, memberikan batasan dan kontrol terhadap penggunaan internet serta kontrol orang tua terhadap lingkumgan pergaulan anak.

Abstract

Minat membaca anak harus terus dikawal dan di kembangkan khususnya pada muatan Bahasa Indonesia SD/MI. Jika hal tersebut diabaikan, maka akan berdampak pada menurunnya kualitas peserta didik, karena membaca merupakan kunci pembuka pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan menumbuhkan minat baca pada anak MI/SD melalui cerita bergambar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui data impiris dengan cerita bergambar. Untuk memberikan stimulus pada anak untuk lebih gemar membaca sehingga target yang dicanangkan oleh negara yang tertuang dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahu 2003 tercapai, diperlukan upaya kreatif dari masyarakat pendidikan. Dari hasil analisis beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, media cerita bergambar menjadi salah satu pilihan yang berdampak cukup baik dalam menumbuhkan minat baca pada anak sekolah dasar atau sekolah madrasah Ibtidaiyah, dapat menarik perhatian siswa, memotivasi siswa agar lebih aktif dalam membaca, serta menjadikan pembelajaran lebih bervariasi. Buku cerita yang dilengkapi oleh gambar maupun teks wacana, secara langsung akan mengarahkan pembacanya mendapat dua pemahaman, yakni yang diperoleh melalui visual – gambar-gambar dan verbal-teks wacana. Gambar dalam cerita menjadi perekat yang dapat memperkuat ingatan dan pemahaman mereka terhadap isi dari cerita yang dibaca.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS), education, health, and entrepreneurship on poverty alleviation in Indonesia, particularly in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No Poverty). A quantitative approach was employed using secondary data from the National Amil Zakat Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BAZNAS RI) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the 2021–2024 period. The data were analyzed through multiple linear regression with a panel data model. The results indicate that ZIS acceptance has a significant negative relationship with poverty levels, implying that higher ZIS collection and distribution can effectively contribute to poverty reduction. Meanwhile, school participation rates as an indicator of educational attainment show no significant impact on poverty reduction, suggesting that improvements in education quality and relevance are still needed to enhance its economic effect. Life expectancy, representing health indicators, demonstrates a significant negative influence, highlighting the essential role of better healthcare access and quality in reducing poverty. On the other hand, entrepreneurship, measured by the number of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), exhibits a significant positive relationship with poverty, which may reflect challenges such as limited access to financing, low business literacy, and weak competitiveness among small entrepreneurs. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening ZIS management, enhancing health services, and adopting sustainable strategies in education and entrepreneurship development. This study provides important insights for policymakers, zakat institutions, and communities in formulating effective strategies to accelerate poverty alleviation and achieve Sustainable Development Goal 1 in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates how language learning contributes to leadership transformation among students in higher education. In an increasingly global and multilingual environment, leadership is no longer defined solely by technical competence or formal authority, but also by the ability to communicate effectively, influence others, and manage social interactions. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores how participation in language learning activities shapes students’ communication practices, leadership behaviors, and social roles within group settings. The participants were 50 students from three diploma programs who had completed courses in Indonesian and English. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, reflective journals, and documentation of speaking tasks and group discussions. The findings show that language learning enhances leadership communication through increased verbal initiative, more precise message delivery, improved persuasive ability, greater involvement in group decision-making, and higher communication confidence. The study also identifies learning strategies that foster leadership capacity, including group discussions, oral presentations, role-play activities, collaborative projects, and reflective writing. However, several barriers were identified that limit leadership transformation, including fear of making mistakes, limited vocabulary, low self-confidence, cultural inhibition, and unequal participation in groups. Overall, the study concludes that language learning provides a powerful social and communicative space for developing leadership, although its impact depends on both individual and contextual factors.
