Abstract

This study focuses on the influence of teacher professional competence on students' learning interest at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. The background of this study is based on the reality in the field which shows variations in students' learning interest which can be influenced by teachers' ability to manage learning. This study aims to understand the extent to which teachers' mastery of the material, pedagogical skills, and the application of effective learning methods can increase students' learning interest. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with semi-structured interview techniques for teachers and students. The study's findings demonstrated that subject-matter experts can employ a wide range of effective teaching techniques. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that fostering a favorable learning atmosphere in the classroom can boost students' motivation for learning. Children are more interested and motivated to learn when teachers employ innovative and dynamic teaching methods and establish deep emotional bonds with their students. These findings demonstrate how crucial it is to raise instructors' professional proficiency in order to provide engaging and productive learning environments for students.

Abstract

Bullying di lingkungan sekolah merupakan permasalahan yang kompleks, terlebih ketika pelakunya adalah anak di bawah umur yang tidak dapat dikenai sanksi hukum secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pandangan siswa terhadap kebijakan penanganan bullying yang diterapkan di sekolah, serta menilai efektivitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap dua siswa yang pernah mengalami atau menyaksikan bullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying masih terjadi, baik secara verbal maupun sosial, dan memberikan dampak psikologis negatif terhadap korban. Kebijakan sekolah dinilai belum berjalan maksimal, terutama dalam hal transparansi, ketegasan sanksi, dan keberpihakan guru. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa cenderung mendukung pendekatan edukatif seperti konseling dan skorsing untuk pelaku. Kesimpulannya, penanganan bullying memerlukan strategi yang tidak hanya fokus pada hukuman, tetapi juga pendidikan karakter, keterlibatan guru, dan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan orang tua.

Abstract

Di era digital, tantangan pengelolaan pendidikan di MIN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur, terutama dalam memenuhi standar akreditasi, menjadi perhatian utama. Administrasi manual menyebabkan inefisiensi, rentan terhadap kesalahan, dan kurang mendukung transparansi informasi. Untuk itu, program pendampingan digitalisasi pengelolaan pendidikan dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, keterampilan tenaga pendidik, dan kesiapan sekolah dalam menghadapi proses akreditasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan sistem digital, pengembangan website sekolah, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada efisiensi administrasi sekolah hingga 50%, dengan pengurangan waktu pengolahan data dan penurunan kesalahan input. Selain itu, 100% tenaga pendidik mampu mengoperasikan sistem digital setelah pelatihan. Semua dokumen akreditasi telah terdigitalisasi, mempermudah akses dan asesmen oleh pihak terkait. Pengembangan website juga meningkatkan transparansi dan keterlibatan stakeholder. Digitalisasi terbukti sebagai solusi strategis dalam pengelolaan pendidikan untuk mendukung pencapaian akreditasi A.

Abstract

This study aims to initiate how the Independent Curriculum is implemented as a strategic effort in shaping the character of students in the school environment. This curriculum is designed as a solution to the previous education system which was considered less flexible, by providing more freedom for students to develop their potential, think critically, and create innovation through diverse and student-centered learning approaches. One of the main elements of the Independent Curriculum is the use of project-based learning methods aimed at strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. This profile includes core values ​​such as religiosity, independence, mutual cooperation, global diversity insight, and critical reasoning skills. In its implementation, the Independent Curriculum also emphasizes character formation through three main approaches, namely classroom learning activities, strengthening school culture, and community involvement. Character formation is not only carried out through open materials, but also through various activities outside the classroom such as co-curricular and extracurricular programs that instill moral and social values. The process of character formation of students is designed systematically and continuously by combining cognitive, emotional, and motor aspects, so as to produce graduates who are not only academically intelligent, but also have a strong personality and good morals. Based on the results of this study, the Independent Curriculum has significant potential in creating a more comprehensive and relevant education system to the needs of the times.

Abstract

This study evaluated the impact of the Kampus Mengajar program as part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program on the improvement of literacy and numeracy skills on elementary school students. A mixed-methods approach was used, involving university students, teachers, and Elementary students in the learning process. The results of literacy and numeracy tests showed a significant increase in average scores in all classes involved. Interviews and observations revealed that students played an active role in learning innovation, providing additional motivation, and improving the quality of teaching. Supporting factors, such as school principal support and program integration into the curriculum, supported the success of implementation. However, time and resource constraints posed challenges that needed to be addressed. In conclusion, the Kampus Mengajar program has the potential to make a positive contribution to the improvement of student literacy and numeracy skills, and program development recommendations are given to improve its effectiveness in the future. These findings provide an empirical basis to support similar initiatives and contribute to the education literature in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana di SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi serta dampaknya terhadap proses pembelajaran. Sarana pendidikan, seperti ruang kelas, laboratorium, perpustakaan, teknologi pembelajaran, dan fasilitas sanitasi yang memadai merupakan komponen penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif, nyaman, dan kondusif. Namun, kondisi nyata di sekolah menunjukkan masih terdapat berbagai keterbatasan, mulai dari jumlah ruang kelas yang kurang, laboratorium yang belum dilengkapi peralatan standar, hingga minimnya fasilitas pendukung lain yang seharusnya menunjang aktivitas belajar mengajar. Keterbatasan infrastruktur ini terbukti memberikan dampak langsung terhadap motivasi siswa, efektivitas proses pembelajaran, serta kinerja guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Guru mengalami hambatan dalam mengimplementasikan metode pembelajaran inovatif, sementara siswa kurang terdorong untuk aktif karena sarana belajar tidak mendukung kebutuhan mereka. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan manajemen pendidikan, khususnya dalam aspek perencanaan dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana yang berbasis pada kebutuhan riil sekolah. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dapat menjadi rujukan penting bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk merumuskan strategi kelembagaan pendidikan yang lebih adil, merata, dan optimal demi terciptanya kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih baik.  Abstract This study aims to examine the limitations of facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi and their impact on the learning process. Educational facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, learning technologies, and adequate sanitation are essential components in creating an effective, comfortable, and conducive learning environment. However, the actual conditions at the school indicate that there are still various limitations, ranging from the insufficient number of classrooms, laboratories that are not yet equipped with standard tools, to the lack of supporting facilities that should ideally enhance teaching and learning activities. These infrastructural shortcomings have been proven to directly affect student motivation, the effectiveness of the learning process, and teacher performance in delivering material. Teachers face obstacles in implementing innovative teaching methods, while students are less encouraged to be active due to the inadequacy of learning facilities to meet their needs. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of educational management, particularly in the planning and management of facilities and infrastructure based on the real needs of schools. The recommendations produced may serve as an important reference for policymakers in formulating more equitable, inclusive, and optimal educational institutional strategies to achieve better learning quality.

Abstract

The main goal of Islamic education is to give birth to a whole generation. One effort to realize this goal is to understand the basics of Islamic education. This research examines the basics of Islamic education in terms of the main guidelines and basis of Islamic education, namely the Qur'an. The focus of the research is Surah Taha, verse 14. The research approach is qualitative, using library research methods. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The result of the research is that there are four basic educations in Islamic education: faith education, worship education, prayer education, and remembrance education. The methods of imparting basic education are prayer, patience, example, practice, and habituation. Tujuan pendidikan Islam adalah melahirkan generasi paripurna. Salah satu upaya untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut adalah memahami pendidikan dasar dalam pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pendidikan dasar dalam pendidikan Islam ditinjau dari pedoman dan dasar pokok pendidikan Islam, yaitu al-Qur’an. Fokus penelitian adalah surat Taha ayat 14. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian pustaka. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat empat pendidikan dasar dalam pendidikan Islam, yaitu pendidikan iman, pendidikan ibadah, pendidikan salat, dan pendidikan zikir. Metode menanamkan pendidikan dasar adalah doa, sabar, keteladanan, latihan, dan pembiasaan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the utilization of the digitalization of teaching materials for the Islamic religion course in enhancing moderate understanding of Islam among students in the Society 5.0. In this scientific paper, the author discusses the digitalization of teaching materials for the Islamic religion course to improve moderate understanding of Islam in the Society 5.0 with a qualitative research approach. In this approach, The author collected data and information through interviews, observations, and various sources related to the topic, including scientific journals, books, and reliable online sources. The results of the study show that digitalization of teaching materials can help improve moderate understanding of Islam among students. However, there are still several obstacles in implementing digitalization of teaching materials, such as the digital divide and lack of direct interaction between lecturers and students. Therefore, educational institutions need to provide adequate internet access and devices, technology skills training, provide online and offline discussion forums, and introduce anti-plagiarism policies to overcome these obstacles. This research contributes to the development of digital technology in Islamic education in the Society 5.0.
