Abstract

Humans are an important asset in any organization or company. As a valuable resource, humans are assets that need to be managed properly. Therefore, a human capital strategy is needed to improve the quality of human resources. This study uses a systematic literature review approach to analyze human capital strategies for improving the quality of human resources. The data collected through Google Scholar and Mendeley.com was analyzed, summarized, described, and concluded. This research has contributed to providing guidance for organizations or companies to develop a human model strategy. The limitation of this research is that it only uses limited references collected from the search engine used so that researchers in the future can research more deeply about human capital strategies for a certain sector or several sectors.

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific article is to provide qualitative insights and descriptions that the variables related to employee engagement, employee turnover and employee retention are important for organizations to be used as a foundation, as well as for other interests. Qualitative research methods can provide valuable insights in analyzing employee engagement, employee retention, and employee turnover. A qualitative approach is focused on understanding an individual's experiences, perceptions, and behaviors and can help uncover the reasons and motivations behind them. One approach in qualitative research in this context can be done through in-depth interviews with employees to explore their perceptions of the factors that affect employee engagement, employee retention, and employee turnover, the strategies implemented must be holistic, involve various dimensions of human resource management, and be directed to create a work environment that motivates and supports career development and overall employee well-being.

Abstract

The scientific literature review article entitled Concept of International Trade: Analysis of Letter of Credit, Custom Bonds and Export-Import Regulations is in the domain of operational management science. The purpose of this article is to formulate a hypothesis regarding the relationship between various aspects, which will then be used as the basis for further research. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research methodology. The data used in this study comes from previous studies that are still relevant to this study. Information was collected from leading scientific online platforms, such as Publish or Perish, Google Scholar, DOAJ, and the Sinta journal. The results obtained from this study are presented as follows: 1) Letter of credit influences the Concept of international trade; 2) Custom bonds influence the concept of international trade; and 3) Export import regulations influence the concept of international trade.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to provide a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in supporting MSMEs in the seaweed sector, as well as formulate concrete measures to improve their access to funding necessary for the growth and sustainability of their businesses. This research utilizes a qualitative approach. Qualitative research methodology is a set of techniques and procedures used to collect, analyze, and interpret data in qualitative research studies. This approach aims to understand social phenomena in depth, focusing on collecting rich and detailed data through non-numerical methods such as interviews, observations, and focus groups. Qualitative research methodology is a flexible and adaptable approach, allowing researchers to explore in depth complex social phenomena. Various methods were used to collect, analyze, and interpret data, which proved invaluable in understanding the experiences, views, and meanings possessed by participants in research studies. In the context of this study, data collection was carried out through a literature survey. Seaweed has been widely used by humans and various industries, providing an impact on the community that plants and preserves. As an economic source for the community, it also helps preserve the sea with seaweed as an economic source. Identify financing challenges, strategies to improve access to financing, collaboration among stakeholders, and examples of successful case studies. With a good understanding of these issues, solutions can be formulated to support the growth and sustainability of MMeS in the seaweed industry. In various countries around the world, especially in ASEAN, MMeS has been running by dabbling in seaweed conservation with various dynamics and helping ecosystems in the sea as well as a source of life for the community. Recommendations on the role of local or local governments to assist funding, exports, and the need for assistance, besides that the contribution of the results of this research is only a small part in qualitative form in participation in collaboration.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature research is expected to help hypotheses for future authors in determining research related to employee affective commitment. Research articles on the role of green leadership, employee engagement and ESG implementation in building employee affective commitment are scientific literature articles in the scope of human resource management. The approach used in this literature review research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is to use literature studies or conduct literature reviews of relevant previous articles. The data used in this study are secondary data, which are sourced from academic online media such as Thomson Reuters Journals, Sage, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Scopus Emerald, Elsevier, Sage, Springer, Web of Science, Sinta Journals, DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Scholar and digital reference books. In previous studies, 1 relevant previous article was used to review each independent variable. The results of this literature review article are: 1) Green Leadership influences in Building Employee Affective Commitment; 2) Employee Involvement has an effect in Building Employee Affective Commitment; and 3) Implementation of Environmental Social and Good Governance has an effect in Building Employee Affective Commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influences that cause increased performance. The research method used is Quantitative Descriptive. The data used is primary data, obtained from a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale measurement scale of 1-5 (strongly disagree-strongly agree), filled in by employees at 6 freight forwarding companies in Jakarta, Indonesia. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 108 participants. The analysis software utilized is SmartPLS 4.1.0.0. The results are: 1) Training and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement; 2) Discipline has no positive and insignificant effect on employee engagement; 3) Training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 4) Self-efficacy and discipline have no positive and insignificant effect on employee performance; 5) Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 6) Training and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on employee performance throughout the employee's existence; and 7) Discipline has no positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through the presence of employees. To improve employee performance, it is supported by providing continuous training

Abstract

Transportasi umum merupakan kebutuhan utama bagi masyarakat di kota-kota dan kabupaten besar di Sulawesi Selatan, seperti Kota Makassar, Kabupaten Maros, Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan, Kabupaten Barru, serta Kota Parepare. Kelancaran operasional kereta api Makassar-Parepare oleh PT Celebes Railway Indonesia menjadi prioritas utama dalam pengelolaan sistem transportasi massal. Beberapa kendala, seperti bencana banjir dan longsor, dapat mengancam operasional kereta api tersebut. Daerah yang berisiko mengalami banjir dan longsor di sepanjang jalur kereta api Makassar-Parepare dapat diidentifikasi melalui analisis Sistem Informasi Geografis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat risiko banjir dan tanah longsor di sepanjang jalur operasional kereta api Makassar-Parepare dengan menggunakan metode scoring dan overlay yang terintegrasi dengan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) menggunakan parameter yang berpengaruh terhadap banjir dan longsor meliputi kemiringan lahan, ketinggian lahan, curah hujan, jenis tanah, geologi, dan tekstur tanah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di sepanjang jalur kereta api Makassar-Parepare, terdapat area seluas 4459,445 Ha yang masuk pada kelas banjir risiko tinggi, 93555,26 Ha kelas banjir risiko sedang, 28538,32 Ha kelas banjir risiko rendah dan 37190,67 Ha termasuk kelas banjir aman. Jalur kereta api dari Stasiun Parangloe (13+900) hingga Stasiun Palanro (115+800) melalui daerah dengan kelas banjir “Risiko tinggi” dan “Risiko sedang”. Sementara itu, terdapat area seluas 13880,72 Ha yang masuk pada kelas longsor risiko tinggi, 69296,58 Ha kelas longsor risiko sedang, 54344,16 Ha kelas longsor risiko rendah, dan 26222,07 Ha termasuk kelas longsor aman. Jalur kereta api dari Stasiun Parangloe (13+900) hingga Stasiun Mandalle (67+857) melalui daerah dengan kelas longsor “Aman” dan “Risiko rendah”. Jalur kereta api dari Stasiun Mandalle (67+857) hingga Stasiun Palanro (115+800) melalui daerah dengan kelas longsor “Risiko sedang” dan “Risiko tinggi”.

Abstract

The role of employees greatly determines the success of an organizational or company goal. Therefore, this study aims to analyze factors that affect employee performance ranging from factors of competence, discipline, and integrity as direct influences. Then organizational culture and employee empowerment as direct and indirect influences that affect employee performance through data collection with literature surveys which are then analyzed and described. So it is known that this study found that competence, discipline, integrity on employee performance and organizational culture as well as employee empowerment have a direct and indirect influence on employee performance. This research has the opportunity to be investigated further for future research, by developing empirical models of employee performance using other factors.
