Abstract

The digital transformation at the village and hamlet levels has become a strategic necessity for strengthening governance, increasing transparency, and expanding access to public information. This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of the Watubelah Hamlet apparatus in managing the official website (watubelah.com) through the dissemination of an operational website guide module, technical training, and intensive assistance for the hamlet administrators. The methods used include socialization, direct demonstrations, hands-on practice of key website features, and simulations of public information management. The results of the program indicate strong enthusiasm and improved abilities among the hamlet apparatus in operating the admin dashboard, updating news, managing the organizational structure, updating hamlet information, showcasing local potential, and interacting with the community through incoming messages. The existence of the hamlet website has proven to be an effective medium for strengthening community communication and supporting local government transparency. This program contributes to enhancing digital literacy among village communities and ensures the sustainability of independent website management by the hamlet apparatus.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance adolescents’ understanding of the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of ethical driving as part of efforts to prevent traffic accidents. The activities were carried out through counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and case studies on proper driving safety procedures. A community education approach was used to deliver factual information regarding the medical, psychological, and social impacts of drug use, as well as the legal risks associated with traffic violations. A communicative approach was applied through QA sessions that encouraged participants to share their insights and experiences related to drugs and driving behavior. The results show a significant increase in participants’ understanding of the dangers of drugs, addiction consequences, and key driving safety principles, including greater awareness of risky behaviors. This program highlights the importance of continuous preventive education and collaboration with schools and local communities as strategies to foster healthy, disciplined, and responsible youth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance and quality of work life on job satisfaction among employees at Open Your Mind Indonesia. The background of this research is rooted in the growing awareness of the importance of creating a positive work environment that supports employees' well-being and performance. Quality of work life is a multidimensional construct encompassing physical work conditions, managerial support, fair compensation, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Meanwhile, work-life balance reflects the ability of individuals to effectively manage job demands alongside personal life, which is essential to reducing stress and promoting psychological well-being. Quantitative method with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 40 respondents at Open Your Mind Indonesia (OYMI). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS IBM version 29 to test the direct influence between work life balance, quality of work life, and job satisfaction. The results demonstrate that both quality of work life and work-life balance have a significant and positive influence on job satisfaction. Employees who experience better quality of work life and a balanced work-life integration tend to report higher levels of job satisfaction. These findings emphasize the need for organizations to design flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environments to enhance employee satisfaction at work.

Abstract

  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM dan komunitas wirausaha di Bantul dalam menghasilkan foto produk yang menarik dan profesional melalui pelatihan fotografi berbasis kamera handphone dan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari pelaku UMKM Ganjuran Food Court serta anggota komunitas HIPMI Bantul dan Maswira. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi teoritis, praktik langsung fotografi produk, dan pelatihan penggunaan ChatGPT untuk menghasilkan serta menyunting foto berbasis AI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam pengaturan pencahayaan, komposisi visual, serta pemahaman terhadap potensi AI sebagai alat bantu kreatif dalam promosi digital. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap literasi digital peserta dan mendorong kemampuan mereka untuk mengelola branding produk secara mandiri dan inovatif.

Abstract

Collaborative culture is increasingly regarded as a strategic necessity in modern organizations, particularly as the successful creation of customer value requires strong cross-functional integration. This study aims to explore how collaborative culture is constructed, practiced, and interpreted by employees across three core functions: Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and Accounting Systems to enhance sustainable customer value. Using a qualitative approach based on literature meta-synthesis and thematic analysis of recent international studies, this article presents an integrative framework to provide a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional interaction dynamics. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of collaboration is influenced by the alignment of strategic goals, the clarity of communication mechanisms, and the degree of data transparency facilitated by accounting systems. Moreover, the HR function plays a central role in fostering trust, shaping collaborative work norms, and encouraging more adaptive cross-divisional practices. These findings offer practical implications for organizations seeking to strengthen interdepartmental integration as the foundation for generating superior customer value. The study also emphasizes that collaborative culture does not emerge instantly; rather, it evolves through reflective processes, social learning, behavioral consistency, and leadership commitment in facilitating cross-functional synergy. Thus, effective collaboration requires continuous interaction between organizational structures, information technology, and human capabilities to create value that is responsive to customer needs. Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower women's groups of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) in utilizing cassava (telo) as a valuable food ingredient through training in making steamed caramelized bingka telo. Cassava was chosen because of its high carbohydrate content (~34.7g/100g) and potential for food product diversification. The method used was a participatory practical demonstration (70%) and theory (30%). Participants followed the steps of making bingka cake based on a predetermined local recipe, including the process of making sugar caramel and the steam-baking mechanism. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in processing cassava into new products. The women were able to make caramelized bingka telo with a variety of flavors and attractive decorations. Additional activities such as selecting a product logo and planning a selling price also provided practical entrepreneurial experience. This program successfully increased local food production capacity and awareness of family economic values. With an innovative approach and sustainable support, it is hoped that similar activities can continue to be developed to improve family economies and food security based on local potential.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh work-family conflict dan work-life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan Rumah Sakit Daerah Mangusada Badung. Work-family conflict pada perawat rumah sakit sering muncul ketika tuntutan pekerjaan yang berat dan jam kerja yang panjang mengganggu waktu dan perhatian mereka terhadap keluarga. Di samping itu, work-life balance menjadi tantangan besar bagi perawat, karena mereka harus mampu mengelola stres pekerjaan sambil tetap menjaga kesehatan fisik, mental, dan hubungan sosial di luar lingkungan kerja. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Perawat Wanita Rumah Sakit Daerah Mangusada Badung yang berjumlah 182 orang. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang dipakai sebanyak 50 orang perawat Wanita yang sudah menikah. Dalam penelitian ini data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan aplikasi SPSS serta software SPSS 26. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa work-family conflict tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan yang merupakan perawat di Rumah Sakit Daerah Mangusada Badung. Selanjutnya, work-life balance terbukti berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan Rumah Sakit Daerah Mangusada Badung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada perusahaan penyedia layanan digital di sektor teknologi informasi. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 47 karyawan PT XYZ yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian mengadopsi indikator dari Zhou & George (2001) untuk mengukur kreativitas kerja dan dari Singh et al. (1996) untuk mengukur kinerja karyawan. Meskipun hubungan antara kreativitas dan kinerja telah banyak diteliti, konteks perusahaan digital di Indonesia yang sedang bertumbuh pesat masih jarang menjadi fokus kajian secara khusus. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linier berganda dengan perangkat lunak SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,723 dan nilai signifikansi p < 0,001. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan budaya organisasi yang mendukung ekspresi ide yang inovatif guna meningkatkan kinerja di perusahaan digital. Implikasi praktis dari hasil ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam merancang strategi pengembangan kompetensi berbasis kreativitas sebagai upaya peningkatan kinerja dan daya saing organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik komunikasi kepemimpinan pada Café Rumah Rasa, Yogyakarta, sebagai representasi usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di sektor food and beverage. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam terhadap pemilik usaha sebagai informan utama, yang dilakukan secara tatap muka dan dilengkapi dengan komunikasi lanjutan secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi kepemimpinan di Rumah Rasa bersifat informal, sederhana, dan manual, dengan mengandalkan interaksi langsung serta pemanfaatan media komunikasi digital seperti WhatsApp dan Instagram. Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan mencerminkan karakteristik kepemimpinan paternalistik yang benevolen, ditandai dengan pendekatan keibuan, kedekatan emosional, serta penekanan pada rasa kekeluargaan. Pola komunikasi yang terbuka dan relasional tersebut mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kooperatif, meningkatkan kenyamanan karyawan dalam melaporkan permasalahan, serta menjaga keharmonisan tim. Praktik komunikasi kepemimpinan pada UMKM sektor food and beverage menjadi krusial untuk diteliti karena karakter organisasi yang cenderung informal menempatkan relasi interpersonal sebagai mekanisme utama dalam membangun kohesi tim, keterlibatan karyawan, dan kualitas layanan. Namun demikian, minimnya struktur formal dan mekanisme pelaporan yang terdokumentasi berpotensi membatasi pembelajaran organisasi dan konsistensi standar operasional dalam jangka panjang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi nilai-nilai kepemimpinan transformasional ke dalam praktik komunikasi yang ada, guna memperkuat akuntabilitas dan keberlanjutan organisasi tanpa menghilangkan budaya kekeluargaan yang menjadi ciri khas Rumah Rasa.   This study aims to analyze leadership communication practices at Rumah Rasa Café, Yogyakarta, as a representation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage sector. A qualitative research approach was employed, using in-depth interviews with the business owner as the primary informant. Data collection was conducted through face-to-face interviews and complemented by follow-up online communication. The findings indicate that leadership communication at Rumah Rasa is informal, simple, and manual, relying heavily on direct interactions and digital communication tools such as WhatsApp. The leadership style reflects characteristics of benevolent paternalistic leadership, marked by a motherly approach, emotional closeness, and a strong sense of familial relationships. This open and relational communication pattern fosters a cooperative work environment, enhances employee comfort in reporting problems, and supports team cohesion. Leadership communication practices in MSMEs in the food and beverage sector are crucial to research because the organizational character tends to be informal, placing interpersonal relations as the main mechanism in building team cohesion, employee engagement, and service quality. However, the limited use of formal structures and documented reporting mechanisms may constrain organizational learning and the consistency of operational standards in the long term. Therefore, this study recommends integrating elements of transformational leadership into existing communication practices to strengthen accountability and organizational sustainability while preserving the family-oriented culture that characterizes Rumah Rasa Café.
