Abstract

Background. Research Background Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an important component in accelerating the economic growth of developing countries. As competitive tax rates can be an important factor in foreign investors' investment location selection, income tax policy has been the focus of attention in an effort to attract FDI. However, the real impact of these tax policies on foreign direct investment flows in developing countries is still in doubt. Purpose. This study aims to understand whether a reduction or increase in income tax rates has a significant impact on the amount and flow of foreign direct investment in developing countries, using panel data analysis. This research is expected to enhance the understanding of the role of tax policy in attracting FDI and its implications for the economic growth of developing countries. Method. Results. The analysis shows that developing countries' income tax policies and foreign direct investment are closely linked. The main results show that a reduction in income tax rates tends to increase foreign investment inflows, while an increase in rates can have the opposite effect. In addition, the interaction between tax policy and other economic components, such as political stability and infrastructure, also affects the impact of tax policy on FDI. Conclusion. This study shows that income tax policy plays an important role in determining the level of foreign direct investment in developing countries. Developing countries can increase foreign investment flows by lowering income tax rates. However, to create an effective policy, it is also necessary to consider other aspects such as political stability, regulation, and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the complex relationship between inequality and income levels, as well as between education and wage inequality. The analysis will employ a random sample from the population, gathered through surveys and observations. With a sample size of 100. Data analysis uses regression. These findings suggest that other factors may also play a role in determining inequality trends and the need for a more contextual approach in formulating effective economic policy. The analysis highlights the complexity of labor market dynamics in the relationship between education and wage inequality. The findings reveal that factor such as the population's educational structure, the quality of education, and unobservable factors, in addition to the level of education itself, influence the effect of education on wages. Overall, the results of the analysis show that education has a very important role in determining income distribution and economic equality. Increased education can reduce wage inequality between individuals with different levels of education, with several contributing factors including improvements in the quality of the workforce, greater opportunities for individuals to obtain qualifications that suit labor market needs, and changes in the way society and the labor market.

Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of Sustainable and Responsible Investments (SRI) research from 2000 to 2024, utilizing data visualization tools to map the evolution and current state of the field. Through thematic clusterization, temporal trends, author collaboration networks, and potential research topics, the research offers insights into the dynamic nature of SRI. Initial findings show a progression from foundational concepts to more nuanced discussions around impact investing and sustainability indices. The analysis of author collaboration networks highlights key influencers and suggests potential areas for future collaboration. Additionally, the identification of underexplored areas such as ethical investment frameworks and the impact of social investments indicates new directions for research. This paper underscores the importance of SRI in aligning financial investments with global sustainability goals, providing a roadmap for future research and practice in the field.

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of access to finance, government support, and industry collaboration on startup success in the Cikarang region through quantitative analysis. A sample of 120 startups participated in an online survey, rating their perceptions and experiences on a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). Results indicate significant positive relationships between access to finance, government support, industry collaboration, and startup success. Access to finance and government support demonstrate direct positive effects on startup success, while industry collaboration acts as a mediator, enhancing the impact of financial resources on startup outcomes. The study highlights the importance of fostering a supportive regulatory environment, enhancing access to financial resources, and promoting collaborative partnerships to nurture a vibrant startup ecosystem in Cikarang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) and Implementation of HR Analytics on Employee Green Behavior and its implications for Sustainable Human Resource Management (Sustainable HRM). Using quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis, this study involved 98 respondents from companies in the green industry sector. The results showed that Green HRM and Implementation of HR Analytics simultaneously and partially had a significant effect on Employee Green Behavior with an F value of 1707.554 and R² of 97.3%. However, when the three variables (Green HRM, Implementation of HR Analytics, and Employee Green Behavior) were tested against Sustainable HRM, the results showed a significant effect simultaneously, but not partially significant, with an F value of 35.559 and R² of 53.2%. The conclusion of this study indicates that although green HR policies and the use of HR analytics are effective in encouraging employee green behavior, sustainable HRM requires the support of other factors beyond the model studied. Therefore, this study recommends further exploration of external factors and strategic policies that can support the implementation of Sustainable HRM as a whole.
