Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze teachers' abilities in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating in the management of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 1 and SMKN 1 in East Lampung. Thus, this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with a case study type design. Data collection techniques uses Observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data was analyzed in two stages, namely: individual case data analysis and cross-case data analysis. The results show that the first, the basic religious thinking was developed at SMAN I and SMKN I East Lampung by practicing the religious values that are believed and carried out in daily life, and utilizing additional hours in extracurricular activities. Secondly, The pattern of implementation of PAI learning management is very unique, such as the implementation of religious culture at SMAN 1East Lampung through the 3 S culture (smile, greeting and the culture of greetings, excuse me, sorry and thank you, as well as complete reading and writing of the Koran, midday prayers, noon prayers in congregation, istighosah and group prayers, commemoration of Islamic holidays, imtaq and tadarrus activities of the Koran, joint prayers at the beginning and end of lessons, handshakes between school members, wearing of Muslim clothing by Muslim women. Thirdly, there are religious activities every Islamic holiday, such as: holding competitions in the art of reading the Koran, quizzing about religion, reading poetry or translations of the Koran, practicing prayers, fashion shows, sacrifices on Idhul Adha, fast Islamic boarding schools in the month of Ramadan and others

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan sejauh mana keterkaitan atau hubungan self efficacy dan kebiasaan belajar dengan hasil belajar PAI di SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Ex-post facto. Untuk mengumpulkan data, digunakan instrumen tes dan non-tes untuk mengukur self efficacy, kebiasaan belajar, dan hasil belajar PAI peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolonieritas, uji koefisien determinasi, uji T, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh signifikan antara self efficacy dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar PAI peserta didik di SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Berdasarkan uji F, nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,562 lebih besar dari 0,05, yang berarti bahwa self efficacy dan kebiasaan belajar tidak memengaruhi hasil belajar. Selain itu, berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi, nilai R square sebesar 1,5%, yang menunjukkan bahwa 98,5% hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of strategic management in improving educational quality through visionary leadership at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung and MAN 1 Kota Metro. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings show that at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung, strategic management and visionary leadership successfully enhanced educational quality by developing technology-based flagship programs and ongoing teacher training. In contrast, at MAN 1 Kota Metro, the lack of optimal strategic management implementation and limited visionary leadership hindered the institution's progress, particularly in evaluation and resource management. The study concludes that the synergy between strategic management and visionary leadership is key to achieving educational success. Recommendations include strengthening the evaluation of strategic programs at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung and developing a more structured strategic plan at MAN 1 Kota Metro, focusing on leadership development and continuous teacher training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada hasil belajar siswa di SMP Ma’arif 09 Way Jepara pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Eksperimen Semu. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen (VIII A) dan kelas kontrol (VIII B). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis (Independent Sample t-Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning dibandingkan dengan model Direct Learning. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) < P Value yakni 0,00 < 0,05., yang berarti model Project Based Learning secara signifikan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Secara deskriptif, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (M = 79,00) dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (M = 62,50) Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa Project Based Learning lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam karena model ini mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan mendorong mereka dalam memahami materi melalui project yang relevan. Oleh karena itu, penerapan Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah perlu lebih dioptimalkan guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Religious moderation and multiculturalism in the era of digitalization serve as regulators of student behavior to counter the rapid development of digitalization in the modern age. This research aims to examine the internalization of multicultural education and religious moderation in strengthening the character of students in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and then analyzed through data display, coding, and interpretation, ultimately leading to conclusions based on the qualitative analysis of Miles & Huberman. The results of the study indicate that the internalization of religious moderation and multiculturalism in shaping student character can be achieved through the following steps: 1) integration of multicultural content and religious moderation in the curriculum, 2) activities within student learning, 3) habituation of activities in student life, 4) equal opportunities for learning without gender discrimination, and 5) an inclusive academic culture that is open and based on respect for diversity, as well as social structure. Learning activities on campus contribute to the formation of student character in higher education, supported by the alignment of objectives, materials, and learning strategies, leading to the strengthening of social communities within the cohesive student environment.

Abstract

Abstract The spinach farmer community in the partner area still faces challenges in increasing the added value of agricultural products due to limited knowledge of processing and packaging techniques. This community service activity aims to enhance farmers' understanding of the importance of sorting, grading, and packaging as initial steps toward improving product quality and marketability. The implementation method used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, focusing on leveraging local assets and active community participation during the training. The activity was conducted in a one-day technical session involving practical packaging demonstrations and discussions, without product simulation. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of post-harvest quality principles and a new awareness of economic opportunities through value-added processing. The ABCD approach proved effective in uncovering local potential and fostering sustainable and independent social transformation.

Abstract

The quality of vocational education, particularly in the agribusiness sector at vocational high schools (SMK), is still facing several challenges, including the limited use of contextual and innovative learning materials that align with industry demands. Learning modules currently in use tend to be theoretical, less interactive, and do not adequately support students' practical skills or entrepreneurship development. This research aims to develop an innovative learning module to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of teaching agribusiness in SMKs. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapted from the Borg and Gall model, involving stages of needs analysis, design, development, expert validation, revision, limited trial, and broader field testing. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, expert validations, and student learning outcomes (pretest and posttest). The module was developed using a combination of Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), and Teaching Factory approaches, and integrated with digital media and interactive content. The results show that the module is valid according to experts in terms of content, language, and presentation, and is practical and effective based on responses from teachers and students. The implementation of the module in classrooms improved student engagement, collaboration, and achievement. Furthermore, students demonstrated better understanding of agribusiness concepts and improved entrepreneurial skills. In conclusion, the development of this innovative learning module provides a significant contribution to improving the quality of vocational agribusiness education and can serve as a model for future instructional material design in similar contexts

Abstract

The vocational agribusiness education curriculum plays a crucial role in producing skilled workers ready to face the challenges of a modern and dynamic agricultural sector. However, there are significant differences among educational institutions in terms of curriculum development, implementation, and its alignment with the needs of the business and industrial sectors (DUDI). This study aims to compare the vocational agribusiness education curricula of five different institutions in 2022 and to analyze the extent to which curriculum structure, learning approaches, soft skills enhancement, relevance to DUDI, and technology integration are applied. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a comparative study method. Data were collected through document analysis, interviews, and observations at five institutions: Universitas Doktor Husni Ingratubun Papua, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Kalimantan Selatan, Universitas Galuh, Universitas Brawijaya, and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian Mujahidin Toli-Toli. Data were analyzed thematically through the processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the curricula of Universitas Brawijaya and Universitas Galuh are more structured and competency-based compared to the others. Project-based learning and teaching factory approaches have been introduced but are not yet evenly implemented. Technology integration remains limited, while soft skills development is not yet a central focus. Additionally, relevance to DUDI is stronger in institutions with active partnerships. This study recommends the standardization of a nationally competency-based curriculum, strengthening collaboration with DUDI, and enhancing technology and soft skills integration in vocational agribusiness education

Abstract

The This study aims to examine the role of vocational education in promoting the adoption of modern agricultural technologies in remote areas, with a specific focus on the Lampung region. The rapid development of agricultural technologies requires farmers to possess strong technical competencies in order to enhance both productivity and the sustainability of farming practices. Vocational education serves as an alternative educational model that emphasizes practical and applicable skills, making it highly relevant to the real-world needs of farmers. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection methods such as surveys, in-depth interviews, and direct observations. The findings are expected to inform the development of vocational education policies that are responsive to local needs. Moreover, the study aims to formulate strategies to optimize the role of vocational education in supporting the digital transformation of agriculture. This research is crucial for strengthening food security and promoting sustainable rural development in the era of modernization. This study contributes to the academic and policy discourse by highlighting the pivotal role of vocational education in bridging the gap between technological advancement and practical implementation in rural farming communities. It offers a contextualized framework for integrating vocational training into agricultural development strategies and provides actionable insights for policymakers, educators, and development practitioners working to modernize agriculture in remote areas.

Abstract

Service learning merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan kegiatan akademik dengan pelayanan masyarakat untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial, empati, dan tanggung jawab peserta didik. Penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya mengenai service learning umumnya berfokus pada pendidikan umum dan belum banyak diterapkan dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Selain itu, masih sedikit yang membahas bagaimana model service learning dapat diintegrasikan dengan nilai, materi, dan tujuan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Berdasarkan kesenjangan berikut artikel ini membahas implementasi service learning dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan service learning mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai keagamaan melalui pengalaman langsung, terutama dalam kegiatan sosial, bakti masyarakat, dan proyek kolaboratif. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang menghubungkan teori agama dengan aksi sosial. Meski demikian, ditemukan beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, sarana prasarana, serta koordinasi antar pihak yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa service learning dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat pengembangan karakter dan spiritual peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.
