Abstract

An animated movie is a movie made by animating still objects projected into motion using projection tools or application software. The reason people are able to enjoy animated films is that they have a more interesting visual appearance so that the audience does not easily feel bored when watching them. An example of an animated film that has attracted public attention and has received the 26th Japan Movie Critics Awards is the animated film Koe no Katachi. This film has a bullying theme, where Ishida Shouya as a main player is a bully who then wants to change his behavior to become a good person. This research aims to represent the changes of bullying behavior in the animated film Koe no Katachi. Changes of bullying behavior in the animated film Koe no Katachi are influenced by external and internal factors. The object of this research is the main player of the animated film Koe no Katachi, Ishida Shouya. The method of analysis in this research uses the Roland Barthes semiotic analysis method which analyzes the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the unit of analysis as many as five images of changes in the behavior of bullying perpetrators in the Koe no Katachi film. The results of this study show that the behavioral changes of bullying perpetrators are influenced by several factors originating from the perpetrators themselves, parents, friends, and victims who are able to change the bullying perpetrators into good people. Film animasi merupakan film yang dibuat dengan menghidupkan benda diam diproyeksikan menjadi bergerak dengan menggunakan tool proyeksi atau software aplikasi. Alasan masyarakat mampu menikmati film animasi adalah memiliki tampilan visual yang lebih menarik sehingga penonton tidak mudah merasa bosan saat menontonnya. Contoh film animasi yang menarik perhatian masyarakat dan telah mendapatkan Japan Movie Critics Awards ke-26 adalah film animasi Koe no Katachi. Film ini bertema bullying, dimana Ishida Shouya sebagai pemain utama adalah pelaku bullying yang kemudian ingin merubah perilakunya menjadi orang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan merepresentasikan perubahan perilaku pelaku bullying yang ada dalam film animasi Koe no Katachi. Perubahan perilaku yang ada dalam film animasi Koe no Katachi dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan internal. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pemain utama dari film animasi Koe no Katachi yaitu Ishida Shouya. Metode analisis dalam penilitian ini menggunakan metode analisis semiotika Roland Barthes yang menganalisis makna denotasi, konotasi dan mitos di unit analisis sebanyak lima gambar perubahan perilaku pelaku bullying di film Koe no Katachi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan perubahan perilaku pelaku bullying yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang bersumber dari diri pelaku, orang tua, teman, dan korban yang mampu merubah pelaku bullying menjadi orang baik.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan penting untuk dilakukan, namun akses dan pemahaman terkait teknologi yang dapat menyediakan informasi tak terbatas memerlukan kolaborasi bersama akademisi di perguruan tinggi dalam memberikan edukasi terkait literasi media. Maka, pelatihan literasi media di lingkungan pendidikan dipandang perlu untuk dilakukan, sebagai upaya untuk membangun pemahaman dan keterampilan pada guru dan siswa, khususnya di yayasan Al-Huda Surabaya, dalam menangkal hoax dan mengidentifikasi fake news selama menggunakan jaringan online pada proses belajar mengajar. Pelatihan Literasi Media terbagi ke dalam 2 (dua) kegiatan utama, yakni penyampaian materi yang berjudul Hoax, Fake News dan Disinformasi dan materi kedua yang berjudul Literasi Digital dan Etika Bermedia. Selama pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan, dilakukan juga evaluasi melalui kuisioner pre-test dan post-test yang dibagikan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dilaksanakan. Kuisioner terdiri atas 10 (sepuluh) item pilihan ganda yang berkaitan dengan materi pelatihan. Melalui pelatihan tersebut, kompetensi guru dan kepala sekolah di yayasan Al-Huda, Surabaya dalam mengidentifikasi perbedaan berita dan menelusuri sumber informasi, baik yang valid maupun hoax atau fake news semakin meningkat dan pemahaman tersebut dapat terus disebarluaskan kepada siswa-siswi sekolah.

Abstract

Indonesian citizens in the Sebatik Island area, the Indonesia-Malaysia border, have generally received their basic needs from Tawau, Malaysia, for a long time. This is indicated to have formed a dual nationalism mentality of Indonesian citizens in the region, which also affects some of the children of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia who live on Sebatik Island and place their national loyalty to those who benefit their lives. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen the values of nationalism and defend the country to the children of Indonesian migrant workers on Sebatik Island to face the decadence of nationalism and prevent foreign infiltration through the country's border areas. The method used in community service begins with analyzing the community situation, identifying problems, and determining specific work goals, problem-solving plans and social approaches. The result of this activity is the implementation of a program to strengthen nationalism and defend the country for the children of Indonesia migrant workers whose parents work in Malaysia through counselling and socialization with competent resource persons in their fields and a community of Sebatik Young citizens has been formed as a forum for self-actualization.

Abstract

In the midst of the competitive hotel industry, brand identity is very important. Brand identity is the main part of branding that managers offer to potential consumers. Brand identity is the theme of the hotel's promotion. The problem then is that not every hotel has a linear historical process. Changes in ownership or management require the hotel to offer a new brand identity. Hotel Bumi Surabaya is a hotel that builds a new distinctiveness in the form of brand identity as a resort hotel in urban areas. This research aims to analyze the strategy and development of Brand Identity presented by the Bumi Surabaya City Resort Hotel through the official Instagram account @bumisurabaya. The type of research used in this research is qualitative. The research method used in this research is descriptive. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research stated that the Brand Identity built by the Bumi Surabaya City Resort Hotel went through gradual formation in the rebranding process and the formation of its image concept, namely City Resort. This concept was developed by the hotel using the brand name, logo, design and color, sound, vision and mission, tactical goals and tagline which can be seen on Instagram @bumisurabaya, so it can be concluded that the identity of the Bumi Surabaya City Resort Hotel is the City image concept. Abstract

Brand image is the way customers perceive a brand. A good image created by the company can provide satisfaction to customers so that customer loyalty is formed. Eiger products are one of the outdoor products that have a fairly good image among the community, one of which is in the environment of Higher Education Nature Lovers in Surabaya. Eiger's outdoor products have become one of the choices of outdoor products used during outdoor activities. This study aims to determine the effect of Eiger product brand image on customer loyalty among college mapala members in Surabaya. This research is an associative quantitative research with survey method. The results of this study indicate that the brand image of Eiger products has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. The effect has a percentage of 48.6% so that it has created a considerable impact in seeing the influence of Eiger's brand image to customer loyalty in mapala members in Surabaya universities.

Abstract

Indonesia needs to re-actualize the values of Pancasila, which have proven to be an effective solution in dealing with various national problems, including the issue of intolerance. As the foundation of the state, Pancasila plays an essential role in shaping the attitudes and behavior of society. However, these values are increasingly being eroded, as seen from the weakening of Pancasila's knowledge and practice in everyday life, which triggers disputes and divisions. Pancasila has gone through various political dynamics, from parliamentary democracy to the reform era, and remains relevant as an ideology that unites Indonesia's diversity. With a foundation in ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity, Pancasila reflects harmonious national wealth and is a shared cultural heritage.

Abstract

Dalam era ini, Generasi Z dikenal sebagai kelompok yang hidup seiring dengan teknologi, memanfaatkannya secara alami, dan memiliki kecakapan teknologi yang tinggi. Siswa-siswi SMAN 1 Kebomas Gresik, sebagai bagian dari Generasi Z, memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi digital creator yang kreatif dan berpengaruh di dunia digital. Sebagai generasi yang terhubung erat dengan teknologi. Kemampuan mereka dalam memahami dan memanfaatkan teknologi secara kreatif adalah potensi yang dapat dikembangkan untuk menciptakan konten menarik dan relevan di dunia digital. Namun disisi lain hadirnya sosial media tidak memberikan kedalaman dalam suatu kefokusan maupun produktivitas yang semakin menyempit dikarenakan segala sesuatu disajikan dengan instan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan membuat workshop bagi siswa siswi kelas 10 dan 11 di SMAN 1 Kebomas Gresik optimalisasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik sehingga dapat membekali siswa siswi SMAN 1 Kebomas Gresik untuk menghadapi persaingan dunia digital. Salah satu hasil yang didapatkan dalam pelatihan workshop ini, salah satunya berupa keterampilan dan produktivitas dalam pemanfaatan strategi sosial media marketing untuk menjadi digital creator. Metode yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini dengan menggunakan metode pemecah masalah mitra berupa Identifikasi pemahaman dan pengetahuan mitra terhadap teknologi komunikasi, FGD, merancang materi mengenai produksi konten guna optimalisasi produktivitas yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mitra, sebagai bahan kajian pada saat sosialisasi dan melakukan pendampingan secara berkala agar kedepannya mitra mampu mandiri dalam menjalankan hasil kegiatan ini. Selanjutnya yaitu Monitoring dan Evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan dan kendala yang muncul pada saat proses pelaksanaan yang sudah dilakukan.

Abstract

This community service aims to develop a Village Information System (SID) in Prampelan Village, Karangrejo District, Magetan Regency, to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by increasing information accessibility and village management efficiency. This website-based SID is built with an open-source platform that supports the management of various village information ranging from development programs, public services, to community activities digitally. The methods used are Science and Technology Diffusion and training, involving active participation from village officials and local communities. The results of the community service show an increase in access to information for the community, as well as an increase in the skills of village officials in managing SID. Abstract

Inmates are not exempt from their fundamental human rights to meet the demands of life and livelihood, making it urgent to explore their potential and equip them with skills that can be developed after their release from prison as capital for starting a new life in society. Various skills training programs have been implemented by the prison and other institutions, but limited resources and the increasing number of inmates mean that these programs are still considered ineffective. The PKM team initiated a community service activity in the form of training on national defense through economic independence, followed by makeup and knitting craft training for female inmates at the Surabaya Class II A Women's Detention Center. The training was designed to be integrated and easy to understand, starting with an introduction to tools and materials, techniques and modifications in knitting stitches, up to the final product of the knitted items created. Similarly, for makeup, the training began with an introduction to the tools and materials required for facial makeup application, followed by techniques for applying makeup accurately. The methods used include mentoring, as well as pre-test and post-test assessments to measure participants' understanding levels. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this PKM initiative demonstrate an improvement in the inmates' understanding and skills in makeup application and knitting craftsmanship, fostering their enthusiasm for preparing for a more independent life after their sentence is completed.
