Abstract

This study aims to describe the handling of child abuse through the Child Friendly School program at SMPN 9 Surabaya and analyze teacher constraints in handling child abuse through the Child Friendly School program at SMPN 9 Surabaya. This research was analyzed using Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory which discusses 5 levels of environmental systems that affect and are affected by child development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative-based approach. Informants in this study were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary data sources. The data collection techniques used were passive participant observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques using triangulation techniques. The results of this study are the handling of child abuse through the Child Friendly School program at SMPN 9 Surabaya consists of providing a complaint channel, checking the truth, providing treatment (coaching), and communicating with outside parties (handover). The obstacles faced are the constraints of physical punishment, the constraints of parents/guardians who are less cooperative, and the constraints of student conditions. Constraints on the condition of students in the form of lack of control of students over themselves, lack of motivation to go to school due to family problems, lack of openness of students, and the assumption that child abuse is normal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan sikap kesetiakawanan sosial peserta didik oleh guru PPKn di SMA Negeri 22 Surabaya melalui kegiatan berbagi dan makan bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori perkembangan moral oleh Thomas Lickona dalam menjawab rumusan masalah.  Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan sikap kesetiakawanan sosial peserta didik oleh guru PPKn dilakukan dengan melaksanakan kegiatan berbagi dan makan bersama yang  didalamnya memuat proses moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan tersebut memiliki hambatan berupa berbagai kritikan dari guru-guru lain dan peserta didik, mereka  mengasumsikan kegiatan berbagi dan makan bersama bertolak belakang dengan  materi yang diajarkan dan peserta didik banyak yang merasa keberatan. Oleh karena itu kegiatan tersebut dihentikan sampai saat ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi pendidikan karakter peeduli lingkungan pada peserta didik kelas VII melalui program Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deksriptif yang mengambil lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori pendidikan karakter Thomas Lickona yang terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu pengetahuan moral, perasaan moral, dan tindakan moral. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Informan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru PKn, guru IPA, guru Matematika, guru Bahasa Jawa.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII di sekolah berwawasan lingkungan SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo adalah (1) Pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program Adiwiyata, (2) Kurikulum sebagai tuntunan pengintegrasian karakter peduli lingkungan, (3) RPP sebagai media implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan, (4) Peran guru mapel Bahasa Jawa, PKn, Matematika dan IPA dalam mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan, dan (5) Pembiasaan sekolah sebagai wujud implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII. Melalui implementasi tersebut, maka pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan pada kelas VII khususnya, diharapkan mampu membantu upaya pemerintah dalam pelestarian lingkungan guna pembangunan berkelanjutan bagi kepentingan generasi muda atau peserta didik saat ini dan masa mendatang.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the implementation of the MBKM policy. This is a phenomenological type of qualitative research, namely examining the problem as a phenomenon in depth and finding patterns of connection between phenomena. Data was collected with the help of interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. All data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research show that (1) FKIP Universitas Mataram, FISH Universitas Negeri Surabaya, and FT Universitas Negeri Makassar have implemented the MBKM policy, (2) the implementation of MBKM has had an impact on increasing students' self-confidence in obtaining additional competencies beyond core competencies according to the program study, (3) supporting factors in the form of the availability of BKP options for students, the challenge factor of limited supporting funds and BKP implementation tools, and (4) as an essential part of determining key performance indicators (IKU)of higher education institution, it is necessary to adjust the implementation of MBKM policy constantly.

Abstract

Violence is something that can harm someone. Violence is done to hurt weaker people. Violence that occurs in schools is often a problem that must be faced by the school. The handling of the school can reduce violent behavior in students. This study aims to determine the form of violence that occurs in SMP Negeri 45 Surabaya and describe the handling given to students involved in violence at school. School handling as a process, the method used by schools in handling cases of violence that occur in schools carried out by the school with parties involved in violence whereas, violence is unlawful behavior that can cause harm to others, and cause suffering both physically, psychologically to someone. The research informants were the principal, BK teachers, and homeroom teachers at the school. This study uses qualitative descriptive research. Data is collected through the interview process, and documentation. The data is then analyzed using data analysis techniques by Miles Huberman which include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that (1) The form of violence in SMP Negeri 45 Surabaya is verbal and physical violence. (2) Handling provided through reports received and then with actions taken, namely mediation (calling victims and perpetrators) to hear problems from their respective perspectives, coaching carried out by homeroom teachers or BK teachers by providing advice and helping to straighten out accompanied by parents, and supervision is carried out to see how the perpetrator's behavior changes in the classroom after being handled so that it does not lead to behavior repeated violence

Abstract

Mental health plays an important role in efforts to achieve social equality, health coverage, access to human rights justice, and continued economic growth. The increase in the number of ODGJ has certainly become a special concern for the government to increase the realization of the rights of ODGJ, especially related to the right to health through the provision of health services that have been stipulated in Law No. 18 of 2014 which was later merged into Law No. 17 of 2023. The POJOK PITU program is one of the media as a form of fulfillment of the right to health through health services that have been provided. The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the implementation of the POJOK PITU program, to find out (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors, and (3) the impact of the implementation of the POJOK PITU program in fulfilling the right to health for people with mental disorders in Sambibulu village, Sidoarjo. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected using participatory observation techniques, structured interviews, and documentation. There are 2 sources of research, namely primary data sources, namely medical personnel, cadres, families and ODGJ, secondary data sources from books or records that are relevant to the research. The results showed that the implementation of the POJOK PITU program in fulfilling the right to health for ODGJ in Sambibulu village went well in terms of the four elements of the George Edward III model of policy implementation theory.

Abstract

Karang Taruna is a forum for developing the social spirit of the younger generation in society. Social concern is defined as an attitude related to caring for others in the surrounding environment. This research aims to describe the efforts and obstacles of Karang Taruna Armuba in increasing social awareness in Karangwaluh Village, Sampung District, Ponorogo Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The theoretical basis for this research is the social capital theory of philanthropy by Paul Schervish. The results of the research show that the efforts of Karang Taruna Armuba in increasing social awareness in Karangwaluh Village, Sampung District, Ponorogo Regency, namely through activities, 1) compensation activities, 2) social visits, 3) community service activities, 4) fooging activities, 5) day activities religious, 6) great youth training activities, 7) sports activities. Meanwhile, in implementing these efforts, there are different obstacles experienced by the youth of Karang Taruna Armuba in each activity that has been carried out. Abstract

In facing national problems such as intolerance and ethnic and social conflicts, Indonesia needs to re-actualize the values of Pancasila, which have been proven as a unifying solution for the nation. Pancasila, as the foundation of the state and the nation's outlook on life, plays an important role in uniting the ethnic, religious, and cultural differences in Indonesia. However, in daily practice, the values of Pancasila tend to be eroded and are more present as formal symbols than behavioral guidelines, thus triggering various disputes between residents. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity Pancasila is intended to (1) instill Pancasila values in the Pacet Village community; (2) mentor the Pacet Village youth organization as a facilitator of harmony by utilizing social media to campaign for harmony in society. This community service activity is a collaboration between the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Surabaya State University with the Pacet Village Government, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency, and the Mojokerto Regency Interfaith Harmony Forum. This community service activity is a Pancasila Discussion and Creative Content Creation Training for Karang Taruna Pacet Village. The method used is socialization, which provides material about Pancasila as a unifier of the nation, ending with digital content training. Through socialization activities, national insight training, discussions with religious leaders, and training for village officials, efforts to strengthen Pancasila encourage a harmonious life amidst diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to present empirical data on the results of previous research so that teachers have a reference as a basis to further explore the Role Playing Method oriented to local wisdom as a means for students to understand the values of Pancasila and the character in the Independent Curriculum. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design. Based on the results and discussions, one hundred and two items were obtained with eighteen clusters. The results of VOS viewer's visualization by making the Role Playing Method the main focus also show that there is no connection with local wisdom keywords, which means that there are limitations in connection or integration. In fact, in the context of Pancasila values and character, the role of teachers as facilitators allows students to learn through simulations of real situations, so that the understanding of these values can be better internalized. However, these ideal conditions do not show a connection. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Role Playing Method is still isolated and less oriented to aspects of local wisdom in the context of understanding Pancasila values and character. The lack of this connection shows that there is an opportunity for further research to explore the relationship between the application of the Role Playing Method, local wisdom, and Pancasila values and character.

Abstract

Objective: This study explores the implementation of teachers' personal approaches in improving the motivation of grade XI students at SMA 3 Probolinggo. It aims to investigate how personal approaches are applied in teacher-student interactions, identify the strategies used to enhance student motivation, and examine the challenges encountered during the process. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this research. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The participants consisted of teachers and grade XI students who were directly involved in classroom and school activities where personal approaches were practiced. Triangulation was used to ensure the validity of the data. Results: The findings revealed that the implementation of personal approaches by teachers significantly influenced students' motivation. Approximately 80% of the students reported feeling more appreciated and motivated when teachers provided individualized attention. Strategies such as positive reinforcement, adapting teaching materials to student needs, and empathetic communication were commonly employed by teachers. However, challenges such as limited time, large class sizes, and varying student learning preferences posed difficulties in consistent implementation. Novelty: This study contributes to the growing body of literature on student motivation by emphasizing the role of teacher-student interpersonal relationships in Indonesian senior secondary schools. Unlike previous studies that focused broadly on motivational strategies, this research highlights the specific impact of personal approaches and proposes the integration of interpersonal skill development in teacher training programs.
