Abstract

Construction project management aims to manage time, cost, and resources effectively and efficiently so that the project can be completed according to plan. However, in practice, many construction projects, especially in the Medan City area, experience significant delays and cost overruns. This is due to inaccurate cost and time estimates, as well as lack of attention to various internal factors. This study aims to analyze project cost estimation as an effort to improve construction project time performance. Data were collected from 201 respondents working in the construction sector with varying educational backgrounds and work experiences. The analysis was conducted using the covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) approach with the help of AMOS software, as well as the Maximum Likelihood Estimation technique to estimate project duration. The results of the study indicate that project cost estimation is significantly influenced by three main factors, namely Budgeted Cost of Work Schedule (BCWS), Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), and Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP). Meanwhile, the time performance factor does not have a significant effect on cost estimation. On the other hand, project time performance is influenced by the availability of labor, main equipment, funding, and implementation methods. The feasibility test of the model using Goodness of Fit indicators such as CMIN, RMSEA, TLI, NFI, and CFI shows that the model used meets the Absolute Fit Model criteria, so it can be concluded that the relationship between variables in this research model is valid and can be used to support decision making in construction project management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan teknik gambar yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning dan model pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya di Era Merdeka Belajar pada mata pelajaran Gambar Teknik kelas X DPIB di SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi kelas X DPIB yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah 64 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 soal valid dan lembar kerja peserta didik sebagai nilai keterampilan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan independent sample t test melalui program SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajran Self-Directed Learning lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya (77,28 > 63,88). Kedua, rata-rata nilai keterampilan siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajran Self-Directed Learning lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya (68,09 > 63,75). Ketiga, nilai t pada t-test for equality of means sebesar 3,625 sedangkan nilai t tabel yaitu 1,670 maka uji hipotesis  ditolak (   >  ). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan kemampuan teknik gambar yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning dan Tutor Sebaya di Era Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matriks dan sikap ilmiah antara mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design dengan mengambil populasi penelitian mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan teknik Bangunan semester 1  Universitas Negeri Medan tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel diambil dengan cara total sampling. Data pemahaman konsep diukur dengan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep matriks dan sikap ilmiah dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan Manova. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh simpulan sebagai berikut: 1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep matriks antara mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung dan mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, 2) terdapat perbedaan sikap antara mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung dan mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, 3) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep matriks dan sikap ilmiah antara mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung dan mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional Kata Kunci : konvensional, pemahaman konsep, pembelajaran langsung, sikap ilmiah  ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the differences in understanding the concept of matrix and scientific attitude between students who are taught by direct learning model and conventional learning model. Abstract

Program Studi S1 Teknik Sipil Unimed pada tahun ajaran semester Ganjil 2017/2018 menerima mahasiswa baru untuk pertama kalinya. Peranan sosialisasi dan promosi dilakukan agar program studi dapat dikenal luas oleh masyarakat Kota Medan khususnya dan umumnya propinsi Sumatera Utara serta secara regional di seluruh Nusantara dapat mengenal progam studi ini. Tujuan dari kegiatan adalah untuk mensosialisasikan keberadaan Program Studi, untuk mengenalkan dan mempromosikan program Studi di wilayah Kota Medan dan Kabupaten Kota sekitarnya dan untuk memetakan mahasiswa baru Program Studi S1 Teknik Sipil Unimed.  Metode yang dilakukan dengan cara mengunjungi dan mempresentasikan materi sosialisasi dan promosi program studi Teknik Sipil  di beberapa sekolah,  menyebarkan informasi melalui brosur ke beberapa sekolah umum dan kejuruan yang berada di Sumatera Utara. Hasilnya adalah jumlah mahasiswa baru yang terdaftar pada program studi Teknik Sipil S1 berjumlah 86 orang dari jumlah peminat sebanyak 1431 orang dengan tingkat persaingan cukup tinggi yaitu 1 : 28. Daerah asal mahasiwa sudah secara regional mencakup pulau Sumatera dan Pulau Jawa. Informasi keberadaan Teknik Sipil S1 PTB FT Unimed diketahui melalui sekolah, Web, jejaring sosial, alumni dan lain-lain, Umumnya Program studi S1 Teknik Sipil merupakan pilihan pertama dari mahasiswa baru. Kata Kunci : Program Studi S1 Teknik Sipil, Sosialisasi Dan Promosi, Unimed  ABSTRACT The Civil Engineering (S1) Study Program Unimed in the year of Odd semester 2017/2018 accepts new students for the first time. The role of socialization and promotion is done so that the study program can be widely known by the people of Medan City in particular and generally the province of North Sumatra and regionally throughout the archipelago can be familiar with this study program. The purpose of the activity is to socialize the existence of the Study Program, to introduce and promote the Study program in the area of Medan City and the surrounding Kota District and to map the new students of Unimed Civil Engineering S1 Program. The methods are undertaken by visiting and presenting the socialization materials and promotion of Civil Engineering courses in some schools, disseminate information by distributing flyers to public and vocational schools located in North Sumatra.  The result is the number of new students enrolled in the Civil Engineering program (S1) amounted to 86 people from the number of applicants as many as 1431 people with a high level of competition is 1: 28. The origin of students already regionally covers the island of Sumatra and Java. Information on the existence of Civil Engineering (S1) PTB FT Unimed known through schools, Web, social networking, alumni, and others. Abstract

Penelitian peningkatan hasil belajar dan minat belajar dengan menerapkan Problemp Based Learning (PBL) pada mata kuliah Praktik Kerja Batu dan Beton terhadap mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan (Prodi PTB). Penelitian merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Praktik Kerja Batu dan Beton Prodi PTB Jurusan PTB Fakultas Teknik Unimed. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling, dimana keseluruhan populasi dijadikan sampel. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah objektif tes, melakukan pretes serta postes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SPSS 23 untuk menganalisis validitas, reabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, uji normalitas, uni homogenitas dan uji crosstab. Hasil analisis data dengan perlakuan menunjukkan bahwa kelas yang diajarkan dengan model PBL memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,93. Sedangkan kelas yang diajarkan dengan model konvensional memperoleh nilai rata-rata  sebesar 72,60 Uji statistik nilai hasil belajar Praktik Kerja Batu Dan Beton mahasiswa sebelum diajarkan dengan PBL dilakukan dengan Kolmogorov-Smirnov menyatakan bahwa berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hipotesisnya dapat diterima yaitu terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dan minat belajar dengan menggunakan PBL. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Konvensional, Minat Belajar, Problem Based Learning (PBL)  ABSTRACTThis research was an increase in learning outcomes and interest in learning by implementing Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in the Stone and Concrete Work Practice courses for students of Building Engineering Education Study Program (PTB Study Program). The study was an experimental study with the population in this study were all students who took the Rock and Concrete Work Practice Study Program of PTB Department of PTB Faculty of Engineering Unimed. Sampling is done using total sampling techniques, where the entire population is sampled. The research instrument used to collect data was objective tests, pre-tests, and post-tests. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23 software to analyze validity, reliability, difficulty levels, different power, normality tests, homogeneity units, and crosstab tests. The results of the analysis of the data with the treatment showed that the class taught with the PBL model obtained an average value of 84.93. While the class taught with the conventional model obtained an average value of 72.60. The statistical test of the learning outcomes of the Stone and Concrete Work Practices of students before being taught with PBL was conducted with Kolmogorov-Smirnov stating that the distribution was normal and homogeneous. The hypothesis was accepted that there is an increase in learning outcomes and interest in learning by using PBL.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Conventional, Interest In Learning,Problem Based Learning (PBL)

Abstract

Jalan raya merupakan infrastruktur dasar untuk menghubungkan lalu lintas dari satu tempat ke tempat lain. Di sekitar Jalan Willem Iskandar zona Medan Estate merupakan kawasan akademik dan industri, sehingga jumlah kendaraan yang melintas sangat tinggi pada jam sibuk. Volume dan berat beban kendaraan yang membebani jalan, seringkali mengalami kerusakan yang mengganggu di satu titik yang sama. Kerusakan jalan merupakan salah satu permasalahan hubungan antar kabupaten dan daerah. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis kerusakan Jalan Willem Iskandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Bina Marga untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kerusakan Jalan Willem Iskandar khususnya di sekitar Universitas Negeri Medan. Jenis kerusakan jalan yang terjadi antara lain: pelepasan butiran, retakan aligator, retakan membujur, tambalan dan lubang. Berdasarkan nilai urutan prioritas kerusakan jalan, jenis penanganan jalan yang sesuai harus dimasukkan dalam program perbaikan. Kata Kunci: Analisis kerusakan jalan, metode Bina-Marga, Nilai urutan prioritas ABSTRACTThe highway is the basic infrastructure for connecting traffic from one place to another. Around Willem Iskandar Street at Medan Estate zone is an academic and industrial area, so the number of vehicles that pass is very high at peak hour. The volume and weight of the vehicle load that burdens the road, often suffers disturbing damage at the same point. Road damage is one of the problems for relations between districts and regions. So, it is necessary to analyze the damage to the Willem Iskandar Road. This study uses the Bina Marga method to evaluate the level of damage to the Willem Iskandar Road especially around the Universitas Negeri Medan. The types of road damage that occur include: granular release, alligator cracks, longitudinal cracks, patches and potholes. Abstract

Situs cagar budaya Bukit Kerang merupakan salah satu dari peninggakan purbakala yang berlokasi Pulau Bintan.   Bukit kerang merupakan bukit yang tersusun dari lapisan-lapisan kerang yang berada di tengah perkebunan sawit. Menurut para ahli arkeologi, Bukit Kerang tersebut sudah terbentuk dari ratusan tahun yang lalu dan sampai saat ini masih terus di teliti penyebab terbentuknya.  Banyaknya aktifitas pengunjung disekitar bukit kerang mengakibatkan Bukit Kerang tersebut mengalami penurunan. Pihak management cagar budaya setempat ingin mengidentifikasi besarnya potensi penurunan yang terjadi agar dapat dilakukan pembatasan jumlah pengunjung yang naik ke bukit kerang tersebut.  Identifikasi penurunan bukit dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan finite element. Pemodelan dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi PLAXIS, v.8.2. Aplikasi ini cukup handal untuk mengukur deformasi yang terjadi pada tanah akibat pembebanan. Kebutuhan data tanah didapat dari pengujian soil property. Sample diambil di lokasi bukit kerang, kemudian dilakukan pengujian di Laboratorium. Hasil analisa finite element menunjukkan bahwa, tanah dasar yang menerima berat sendiri (tidak ada beban orang) bukit kerang berpotensi mengalami penurunan sebesar 1.683 cm. Tanah masih cukup baik dalam menerima berat sendiri. Simulasi penambahan beban pada bukit kerang menunjukkan peningkatan penurunan hanya 1% sampai 2%, artinya penurunan masih relatif kecil. Peningkatan beban berupa adanya orang naik ke bukit kerang dengan berat 50 kg sepanjang bukit menunjukkan terjadinya penurunan sebesar 1.71 cm, yang artinya adalah meningkat 2%. Dan penurunan juga meningkat bila dilakukan penambahan sebesar 100 kg, yaitu sebesar 1.736 cm. Hubungan antara penambahan beban dan penurunan berlaku linear dan mendekati persamaan    y = 0.0005x + 1.6847.Kata Kunci: Bukit Kerang, Cagar Budaya, Penurunan Tanah ABSTRACT The Bukit Kerang cultural heritage site is one of the ancient remains located on Bintan Island. A Shell hill is a hill composed of layers of shells in the middle of a palm oil plantation. According to archaeologists, Shell Hill formed hundreds of years ago and now the cause of its formation is still being investigated. The large number of visitor activities around the shell hill has resulted in a decline in the shell hill. The management of the local cultural heritage wants to identify the magnitude of the potential for a decrease that has occurred so that they can limit the number of visitors who climb the shell hill. Identification of hill decline was carried out using the finite element approach. Modeling is done using the PLAXIS application, v.8.2. This application is reliable enough to measure the deformation that occurs in the soil due to loading. Soil data requirements are obtained from soil property testing. Samples were taken at the location of the clam hill, then tested in the laboratory. The results of the finite element analysis show that the subgrade which receives its own weight (no human load) the shell hill has the potential to decrease by 1,683 cm. The soil is still quite good at accepting its own weight. The simulation of increasing the load on the shell hills shows an increase in settlement of only 1% to 2%, meaning that the decrease is still relatively small. The increase in the load in the form of people climbing the clam hill with a weight of 50 kg along the hill shows a decrease of 1.71 cm, which means an increase of 2%. And the decrease also increases when an addition of 100 kg is made, which is equal to 1,736 cm. The linear relationship between the increase in load and decrease approaches the equation y = 0.0005x + 1.6847.Keywords: Bukit Kerang, Land Subsidence, Cultural Heritage

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (a) to identify learning using the team-based project method implemented in practical courses using product-oriented modules in vocational education. (b) to know the level of effectiveness of learning with the team-based project method implemented in practical courses using a product-oriented module in Vocational Education. This study used research related to this study, which were all students who were taking the Decision-Making Technique course. The number of research samples was 60 people (2 classes) of the 2018 Business Administration study program as a field test, 9 people as a small group test and 3 people for an individual test. The results showed that from the material expert, 4 aspects were assessed in the material expert test, namely the material aspect, the quiz question aspect, the linguistic aspect and the implementation aspect. The material aspect has a higher percentage value than the other three aspects, namely 85.45%, then the questions and quiz aspects and the implementation aspect have 80%, while the linguistic aspect has 60%. With this percentage value, the overall assessment of the material experts assesses that this learning media was considered "Eligible" to be developed. Based on the results of the t-test calculations, data obtained that tcount> ttable or 5,868> 2,0172 or in other words H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes using Learning Methods of Team Based Learning on practice course with Product-Oriented Module was higher than students who were taught without using Learning Method of Team Based Learning In practical courses with Product-Oriented Modules with the effectiveness of using Learning Methods of Team Based Learning In practical courses with Product-Oriented Modules of 88,5667% .

Abstract

ABSTRACT To improve learning outcomes and the effectiveness of learning activities that previously did not meet the Classical Mastery Criteria, it is necessary to use more innovative instructional media that can better support students' understanding. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the application of 3D animation video learning media with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the basic elements of Construction and Housing Engineering of class X TKP SMK Negeri 2 Medan in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 35 tenth-grade students at SMK Negeri 2 Medan. The instruments used included a learning achievement test and an observation sheet. The results indicate that applying 3D animation video media based on the PBL model can significantly improve student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average student score reached the sufficient category for the Minimum Completion Criteria at 75.4, but the CCC of 62.9% had not yet been achieved. After revisions and improvements in the second cycle, the average score increased to 83.85, and classical completeness reached 91.4%, surpassing the required 85% CCC standard. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that using 3D animation video learning media integrated with the Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving learning outcomes in the basic elements of Construction and Housing Engineering for class X TKP students at SMK Negeri 2 Medan. ABSTRAK Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan efektivitas kegiatan belajar yang sebelumnya belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Klasikal, diperlukan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan mampu mendukung pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran video animasi 3D dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada elemen dasar-dasar Teknik Konstruksi dan Perumahan kelas X TKP SMK Negeri 2 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 35 siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media video animasi 3D berbasis model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai kategori cukup untuk Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yaitu 75,4 tetapi belum tuntas untuk Kriteria Ketuntasan Klasikal (KKK) yaitu 62,9%. Setelah perbaikan pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi lebih baik yaitu 83,85 dan telah tuntas KKK yaitu 91,4% dari 85% standar KKK yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran video animasi 3D dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada elemen dasar-dasar Teknik Konstruksi dan Perumahan kelas X TKP SMK Negeri 2 Medan.
